Jack Topalian is an Armenian-American actor, writer, director, and producer widely recognized by casting directors as “the man of many faces” for his versatility in portraying diverse ethnicities and complex characters with authenticity. Born in Yerevan, Armenia, and raised in the United States after emigrating at age ten, he brings fluency in English, Armenian, and Russian, along with a command of multiple accents, to his performances.
His recent achievements mark a significant elevation in his career. In 2024 he secured a recurring role as Mac Nehoray in the Hulu limited series Clipped. The following year he appeared as the mob boss Greek Sal in the HBO series Duster, created by J.J. Abrams. In 2026 he took on dual high-profile recurring roles: Teddy Garnikian, a boxing coach, in the second season of Apple TV+’s Sugar opposite Colin Farrell, and Naz, an Armenian businessman and associate of Nate Jacobs, in the third season of HBO’s Euphoria alongside Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, and Jacob Elordi.
The Euphoria engagement, in particular, has been described by Topalian as a career milestone, reflecting both the competitive casting process and the expanding presence of Armenian talent in major prestige productions. These consecutive credits across leading platforms demonstrate his continued demand as a reliable and distinctive supporting player while reinforcing his reputation for bringing lived experience and cultural specificity to every role.
