درباره این اپیزود
In this soulful episode of The Mixtape, Australian bluesman Ash Grunwald joins us for a deep and wide-ranging chat about music, life, and the rhythms that keep him grounded.
Ash opens up about his collaboration with Josh Teskey, sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the studio and how their musical chemistry brought raw, heartfelt blues to life. He also gets real about balancing the chaos of touring with the joys of family life, and why staying connected to community radio has always been a grounding force in his career.
We even dive into his thoughts on legendary producer Rick Rubin and what makes a truly great record.
As always, Ash wraps up the episode by curating a 6-song mixtape of the artists and tracks that shaped his unique sound—from gritty blues to soul-stirring roots.
Whether you’re a fan of blues, storytelling, or just good vibes, this episode is a must-listen.
