درباره این اپیزود
In this episode, Hilmarie sits down with Bron Watson to unpack the difference between relentless hustle and true resilience. With over 30 years of experience across nursing, education, and business, Bron shares how her life took an unexpected turn after a breast cancer diagnosis in 2018, followed by a second incurable blood cancer diagnosis in 2023. What followed was not surrender, but a complete redefinition of how she approached business, health, and life itself.
Bron opens up about the moment she looked at herself in the mirror during chemotherapy and realized the business she had built was costing her more than she could afford to lose. That moment became her Green Pill turning point, forcing her to shut down a thriving mentoring business and rebuild from a place of healing instead of hustle. She explains why resilience is not about pushing harder, but about learning when to bend, pause, and adapt.
The conversation explores practical tools for navigating crisis, setting boundaries, protecting energy, and making aligned decisions without guilt. Bron shares her powerful philosophy of “be where your feet are,” a simple but life-changing reminder to stay present, name your emotions, and focus only on what you can control.
At its core, this episode is about healing, self-awareness, and choosing peace over pressure. Bron’s story is a powerful reminder that success means nothing if it costs you your health, and that sometimes the strongest thing you can do is slow down.

Quotes
7:02 - Serenity comes from the serenity prayer. God grant me serenity to accept what I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
9:10 - I'm really, really grateful for everything that I've learned. You know, you can work through these things and at the same time, for me, work on the inner work or the work that really matters, which to me, I call it healing.
11:46 - Relentless is where, for me, when you're pushing, it's the hustle, it's the doing what everyone else thinks you should do. It's all the things that are not in alignment with your health and your well-being.
24:10 - I am right where I need to be in the present, prepared for the present to be able to make the best decision for me, because that best decision for me is exactly the right one.
24:31 - Let go of trying to control it all and plan it all out.
28:02 - I believe when I bless and release that I am allowing space for even more amazing humans to come into my world.
33:55 - I will write my morning pages. I think it's just a great way to get out your thoughts out of your brain. It's a psychological thing as well, like especially in education. When you write things down, it takes it out of your thought processes and just separates you from the whirling and the rumination.
35:15 - I allow myself to do whatever I need to do to heal on the day.

00:00:04.559 --> 00:00:07.839
Welcome back to the Matrix Greenville Podcast.
00:00:07.839 --> 00:00:10.240
I'm your host, Hilmarie Hutchison.
00:00:10.240 --> 00:00:20.399
In the high performance world of entrepreneurship, we are often programmed to believe that hustle is the only valid operating system.
00:00:20.399 --> 00:00:27.679
We wear our busyness like a badge of honor, treating rest as a glitch that needs to be patched.
00:00:27.679 --> 00:00:39.280
But what happens when the ultimate disruption, a life-threatening health crisis, kicks down our door and renders that hustle impossible?
00:00:39.280 --> 00:00:44.479
Today's guest is a master at navigating that exact uncertainty.
00:00:44.479 --> 00:00:53.920
Braun Watson spent 30 years at the intersection of nursing and education before leading her own business, a social coach, for over a decade.
00:00:53.920 --> 00:01:06.079
But her journey took a radical turn when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2018, followed by a second incurable blood cancer diagnosis in 2023.
00:01:06.079 --> 00:01:20.319
Instead of retreating, Bronn chose a path of bold serenity, founding the Serenity Project to teach others how to build systems that carry the weight when they can't.
00:01:20.319 --> 00:01:30.319
She's here to help us decode the myth of the relentless grind and show us what human honest resilience actually looks like.
00:01:30.319 --> 00:01:34.640
Braun, it's an absolute honor to welcome you to the show.
00:01:34.959 --> 00:01:36.480
Thank you so much for having me.
00:01:36.480 --> 00:01:38.319
I really appreciate being here.
00:01:38.799 --> 00:01:49.200
Braun, you spend your life helping others find calm and connection during their toughest moments through the Serenity project.
00:01:49.200 --> 00:01:52.640
But I'd like to start with your own turning point.
00:01:52.640 --> 00:01:59.519
What was your Green Paul moment, the action or event that was the turning point for you or your career?
00:01:59.760 --> 00:02:06.319
You know, there's been a number, but I'm going to share one that I feel is the biggest epiphany of time.
00:02:06.319 --> 00:02:11.599
So I had been running my own business since 2012.
00:02:11.599 --> 00:02:17.280
So I'd have a dual career, as you mentioned before, with nursing and education and then running my own business.
00:02:17.280 --> 00:02:21.520
And I had built this beast of a business in the mentoring space in online.
00:02:21.520 --> 00:02:26.960
So because I'd been a nurse that had got out of nursing, a lot of people wanted to know how did I do that?
00:02:26.960 --> 00:02:36.719
So I had built this mentoring business, doing what everyone told me to do online, you know, grow the online business, do the courses, run the retreats, do the workshops.
00:02:36.719 --> 00:02:41.520
And so when the diagnosis of breast cancer came, I was wearing this.
00:02:41.520 --> 00:02:45.520
I had to deliver what I said I was going to deliver, like a badge of honor.
00:02:45.520 --> 00:02:46.719
So here I am.
00:02:46.719 --> 00:02:49.680
I'd had my second chemotherapy.
00:02:49.680 --> 00:02:52.800
So I had had a mastectomy.
00:02:52.800 --> 00:02:55.599
I had all within a month.
00:02:55.599 --> 00:02:58.639
And here I am, and I caught a glimpse of myself.
00:02:58.639 --> 00:03:00.960
I just got off a Facebook Live.
00:03:00.960 --> 00:03:07.919
So back in the day when we had Facebook groups to run our, you know, our groups and our our masterminds and things in.
00:03:07.919 --> 00:03:12.319
And I just got off a live and I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror.
00:03:12.319 --> 00:03:15.280
And first of all, I went, oh my gosh, who is that person?
00:03:15.280 --> 00:03:19.599
Then I realized it's me because I've got this massive round red face.
00:03:19.599 --> 00:03:20.319
I'm bald.
00:03:20.319 --> 00:03:21.759
I've got a turban on.
00:03:21.759 --> 00:03:26.479
And I caught that glimpse and I looked myself in the eye and I went, Do you want to die?
00:03:26.479 --> 00:03:30.240
Because if you keep this up, girl, you're going to die.
00:03:30.240 --> 00:03:32.080
And I'm a mother of five boys.
00:03:32.080 --> 00:03:33.199
I'm running this business.
00:03:33.199 --> 00:03:35.280
And that was my green pill moment.
00:03:35.280 --> 00:03:40.080
I literally shut the mentoring business down overnight with no plan B.
00:03:40.080 --> 00:03:46.879
And it was a very tough time, both, oh, in every way, physically, spiritually, mentally, the whole thing.
00:03:46.879 --> 00:03:53.280
But I literally had in a like a nanosecond when I saw what I was doing to myself.
00:03:53.280 --> 00:03:55.360
It's the first time I looked and went, that's it, Bron.
00:03:55.360 --> 00:03:56.479
This has to stop.
00:03:56.719 --> 00:03:58.159
What an impactful story.
00:03:58.159 --> 00:04:01.199
Thank you for sharing with such vulnerability and honesty.
00:04:01.199 --> 00:04:02.400
I appreciate that.
00:04:02.400 --> 00:04:06.719
Ron, I want to go straight to the heart of your story.
00:04:06.719 --> 00:04:14.879
As a busy mother of five, dedicated business owner, you didn't have time for cancer, but it didn't ask permission.
00:04:14.879 --> 00:04:18.720
Take us back to that first diagnosis in 2018.
00:04:18.720 --> 00:04:26.879
What was going through your mind about your business, your identity, and your future in those initial chaotic days?
00:04:26.879 --> 00:04:36.720
What was the internal glitch you had to face when you realized your physical body could no longer keep up with your professional identity?
00:04:37.040 --> 00:04:38.399
It was so tough.
00:04:38.399 --> 00:04:46.079
Anybody who's been through a major trauma or major event, adversity all comes in different shapes and sizes.
00:04:46.079 --> 00:05:01.600
So at that time, so we were now second chemotherapy, and I had shut that business, the mentoring down overnight, which took weeks because obviously we had lots of clients and lots of moving parts for anyone who's in business knows that.
00:05:01.600 --> 00:05:09.759
So what was going through my mind was literally how are we going to get through this?
00:05:09.759 --> 00:05:12.639
How can we, how am I going to get through this?
00:05:12.639 --> 00:05:15.839
I didn't know how financially we were going to get through it.
00:05:15.839 --> 00:05:18.160
And, you know, we were meant to be building a house.
00:05:18.160 --> 00:05:22.079
I mean, I couldn't even decide the colour of the paint, let alone anything.
00:05:22.079 --> 00:05:23.439
So we actually sold the land.
00:05:23.439 --> 00:05:24.959
We thought, no, I can't build a house.
00:05:24.959 --> 00:05:26.399
I can't do all of the things.
00:05:26.399 --> 00:05:31.279
Plus, of course, deal with the fallout of cancer and a family.
00:05:31.279 --> 00:05:37.360
So the business was a priority, but life was a greater priority.
00:05:37.360 --> 00:05:42.399
So I literally delved with what skill sets did I have?
00:05:42.399 --> 00:05:48.240
So I looked around and I looked at this is going to say so cliche, but I looked in my toolbox.
00:05:48.240 --> 00:05:54.879
Like, what did I have that I could deliver that could make a few dollars just to keep things going?
00:05:54.879 --> 00:06:03.439
So I had done some work with this most amazing woman called Jennifer, who had been a very senior part of Barack Obama's second social media campaign.
00:06:03.439 --> 00:06:11.839
And I'd worked with her for about a year because I'd done marketing for a long, long time, but I wanted to really hone my craft down into social media.
00:06:11.839 --> 00:06:17.040
I literally started running four hour Facebook workshops, bald as a bad jump.
00:06:17.040 --> 00:06:18.879
I would have chemotherapy.
00:06:18.879 --> 00:06:29.120
I think it might have been maybe a Wednesday, and I would run workshops on a Tuesday because I had weekly chemo and but it was the Tuesday, it wasn't at my best.
00:06:29.120 --> 00:06:31.120
I would have been so sick back then.
00:06:31.120 --> 00:06:34.000
I did what I could with what I had.
00:06:34.000 --> 00:06:38.319
And a lot of people at the time would say to me, Oh, Brian, you're so strong.
00:06:38.319 --> 00:06:43.360
And I would proudly say, another badge, you know, you don't know how strong you are until you have no choice.
00:06:43.360 --> 00:06:48.399
I was still dealing with the responsibilities of the business, my family.
00:06:48.399 --> 00:06:57.439
And it was only then that the growth of myself and like my own looking after me started to come through.
00:06:57.439 --> 00:07:02.240
And that's when I started to look for what I now know or now what I call serenity.
00:07:02.240 --> 00:07:05.040
Serenity comes from the serenity prayer.
00:07:05.040 --> 00:07:12.800
So God grant me serenity to accept what I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
00:07:12.800 --> 00:07:15.839
I was even asked the other day, serenity, it was such a passive word.
00:07:15.839 --> 00:07:16.720
No, it's not.
00:07:16.720 --> 00:07:18.079
It is anything but passive.
00:07:18.079 --> 00:07:31.920
But at the time that you're referring to, those days and weeks and months post-diagnosis, remembering I was diagnosed on a Thursday afternoon, I'm on operating table the following Wednesday, six days later, it was just horrific.
00:07:31.920 --> 00:07:33.920
I did the best I could with what I had.
00:07:34.160 --> 00:07:34.800
Excellent.
00:07:34.800 --> 00:07:41.839
So you had decided to shut down the one business that was too much for you to handle at that time.
00:07:41.839 --> 00:07:50.959
What was the psychological driver that made you decide to keep the social coach running during treatment rather than stepping away?
00:07:51.199 --> 00:07:52.240
It's a great question.
00:07:52.240 --> 00:07:57.120
So back in 2018-19, the business was still called Bron Watson.
00:07:57.120 --> 00:07:59.040
So back in the it was what it was originally called.
00:07:59.040 --> 00:08:01.439
And I rebranded in about 2022.
00:08:01.439 --> 00:08:05.680
And even after the blood cancer, that's taken me.
00:08:05.680 --> 00:08:09.839
It's much, much harder to deal with because obviously it's an incurable cancer this time.
00:08:09.839 --> 00:08:14.240
Initially, financially, I could not afford to shut it down.
00:08:14.240 --> 00:08:23.199
And then I don't know whether it was a good thing or a bad thing, but I had this belief that I was not ready to quit.
00:08:23.199 --> 00:08:25.439
I was, and I use the word quick back then.
00:08:25.439 --> 00:08:28.160
The chapter was not ready to be closed.
00:08:28.160 --> 00:08:45.759
And I have to this day the most incredible team who have carried me through those years, especially in the last five years, these people who has just pivoted with me as I've moved and changed throughout what we do.
00:08:45.759 --> 00:08:49.679
And I wasn't ready to say, that's it, I'm done.
00:08:49.679 --> 00:08:51.919
I think that's why we kept it going.
00:08:51.919 --> 00:08:59.120
And then even prior to breast cancer, it was booming, like it was back booming again in the beginning of 2023.
00:08:59.120 --> 00:09:02.159
So it's again had another huge change since then.
00:09:02.159 --> 00:09:09.919
You know, there's seasons in life, and I wouldn't like to say, because I've done a lot of work on identity, and I wasn't ready to say, I'm done.
00:09:09.919 --> 00:09:12.720
I'm really, really grateful for everything that I've learned.
00:09:12.720 --> 00:09:24.960
You know, you can work through these things and at the same time, for me, work on the inner work or the work that really matters, which to me, I call it healing.
00:09:24.960 --> 00:09:27.120
So for me, I'm on a path of healing.
00:09:27.120 --> 00:09:32.399
And that healing forms the basis of my business plan now.
00:09:32.399 --> 00:09:40.720
You know, where in the back in the day it would have had numbers and it still does, but it has all sorts of different things around it, as long as it's in alignment with my healing.
00:09:40.720 --> 00:09:42.879
And if it's not, I don't do it anymore.
00:09:43.200 --> 00:09:46.720
Sorry that you've had to deal with these terrible diseases.
00:09:46.720 --> 00:09:51.600
Amazing that you've come through them with such a positive spirit.
00:09:51.600 --> 00:09:53.840
You sound positive, you are positive.
00:09:53.840 --> 00:09:59.600
And I love that you have created a solution or a system to support other people.
00:09:59.600 --> 00:10:04.799
You're a beacon of hope for others going through difficult challenges.
00:10:04.799 --> 00:10:06.879
So well done on that.
00:10:06.879 --> 00:10:15.440
You make a sharp distinction between being resilient and being relentless.
00:10:15.440 --> 00:10:27.440
In a corporate culture that often praises the 24-7 grind, why is the relentless model actually a liability when you are in the fight of your life?
00:10:27.759 --> 00:10:35.440
So let me explain what I the best way for me to describe being relentless versus being resilient.
00:10:35.440 --> 00:10:43.679
I am in Australia, obviously, and I live on Acreage, and at the front of my house, there are lots and lots of trees, but two trees that I want to talk about.
00:10:43.679 --> 00:10:46.480
One of them is the most beautiful old gum tree.
00:10:46.480 --> 00:10:54.159
Now, this gum tree is tall, it's magnificent, and it's obviously seen the test of time.
00:10:54.159 --> 00:10:58.879
But this gum tree keeps dropping massive branches, literally.
00:10:58.879 --> 00:11:03.679
So back in where I am, they used to obviously harvest a lot of wood in the bush.
00:11:03.679 --> 00:11:13.519
And they, these trees were called widow makers, which means that the storms would come, do damage that you couldn't see, and then just drop random branches.
00:11:13.519 --> 00:11:15.200
And I'm talking huge branches.
00:11:15.200 --> 00:11:20.799
So we've lived in this house a year and we've had three major branches fall off this one tree out the front.
00:11:20.799 --> 00:11:24.159
Just near that tree, there's a willow tree.
00:11:24.159 --> 00:11:29.440
Nowhere near as magnificent, nowhere near as big, but just as beautiful.
00:11:29.440 --> 00:11:40.559
Now, a willow tree obviously has those beautiful branches that bend over, and they when the storms come, they sway, they move, but nothing falls off.
00:11:40.559 --> 00:11:45.360
That's the difference between being relentless and being resilient.
00:11:45.360 --> 00:11:53.039
So relentless is where for me, when you're pushing, it's the hustle, it's the doing what everyone else thinks you should do.
00:11:53.039 --> 00:11:58.080
It's all the things that are not in alignment to your health and your well-being.
00:11:58.080 --> 00:12:01.519
I used to be the relentless girl because that's what I learned.
00:12:01.519 --> 00:12:07.279
I learned to hustle, you know, I learned to grind, I learned to grow a business successfully, might I add.
00:12:07.279 --> 00:12:11.600
I followed my mentors beautifully, and I'm so proud of that, but at a cost.
00:12:11.600 --> 00:12:13.919
And I didn't know the cost at the time.
00:12:13.919 --> 00:12:20.240
So now, whenever I'm feeling or I'm looking it around, I want to be the willow tree.
00:12:20.240 --> 00:12:27.120
I want to build a business based on resilience, on sustainability, all around for me, health and abundance.
00:12:27.120 --> 00:12:32.240
So that's why for me, I'm very, very passionate about.
00:12:32.240 --> 00:12:35.440
And the greatest thing about it is you can learn resilience.
00:12:35.440 --> 00:12:38.159
You can learn it, it's something you can learn.
00:12:38.159 --> 00:12:48.559
And that forms the foundation of where I'm at at the moment with the Serenity Project and my book writing and things like that, because we don't need to bust our butts.
00:12:48.559 --> 00:12:53.360
We don't need to push at the cost of ourselves.
00:12:53.360 --> 00:13:02.080
And I can tell you now, for anyone who is in that space, you just pause enough to listen to what's happening in your gut or your intuition, call it what you will.
00:13:02.080 --> 00:13:04.879
You'll know if you spend, is it in alignment?
00:13:04.879 --> 00:13:05.519
Yes or no?
00:13:05.519 --> 00:13:07.039
And what are you going to do about it?
00:13:07.039 --> 00:13:09.840
That's where for me, resilience, and I'm really grateful.
00:13:09.840 --> 00:13:11.360
I'm in full remission right now.
00:13:11.360 --> 00:13:13.039
I got fantastic bloods last week.
00:13:13.039 --> 00:13:14.480
So it's like a leave pass.
00:13:14.480 --> 00:13:17.919
So I'm just in a really great space, health-wise, do I know what the future holds?
00:13:17.919 --> 00:13:18.320
No.
00:13:18.320 --> 00:13:28.960
But I know that I have this resilience based on sustainable good practices, not on pushing through despite knowing that it was going to harm me.
00:13:28.960 --> 00:13:32.639
I knew for a long time that business was not a good fit, but I just didn't even listen.
00:13:32.639 --> 00:13:36.320
I didn't bother because I was doing whatever, I just did it and it worked.
00:13:36.320 --> 00:13:38.399
But it didn't make it right for me.
00:13:38.720 --> 00:13:47.120
I love the visuals that you use there, the two different trees and how they respond differently to the weather and then what resilience means.
00:13:47.120 --> 00:13:49.919
I liked also how you said that it can be learned.
00:13:49.919 --> 00:13:59.200
So along those lines, many leaders fear that boundaries or rest mean they aren't committed enough.
00:13:59.200 --> 00:14:06.559
How do you reframe rest as a strategic business tool rather than a sign of weakness?
00:14:06.879 --> 00:14:14.480
Well, rest, if you are pushing beyond, as I said, that sustainable resilient space, you'll know it.
00:14:14.480 --> 00:14:17.120
And you're, you know, imagine it's energy, right?
00:14:17.120 --> 00:14:20.960
So we all have buckets of energy and they do run dry.
00:14:20.960 --> 00:14:30.639
So if you are not slowing down enough and resting to fill your bucket, you're borrowing from what you don't have yet.
00:14:30.639 --> 00:14:36.320
And when that happens, the energy has to come from somewhere, right?
00:14:36.320 --> 00:14:40.000
And so therefore, you're right, you are literally running on empty.
00:14:40.000 --> 00:14:43.279
And, you know, with the fuel prices they are right now, you're in trouble.
00:14:43.279 --> 00:14:48.799
I just think that rest actually, in my world, is actually part of healing.
00:14:48.799 --> 00:14:53.600
Rest is part of, you know, you go to Spain, what do they do in the afternoon?
00:14:53.600 --> 00:14:54.720
They have a siesta.
00:14:54.720 --> 00:14:56.559
They've got it nailed.
00:14:56.559 --> 00:14:58.559
And then they're happy to work in the late evening.
00:14:58.559 --> 00:15:00.159
Yeah, we know it gets hot.
00:15:00.159 --> 00:15:07.600
But that siesta, as part of a culture, that is so good for everybody because everyone is resting.
00:15:07.600 --> 00:15:09.600
Because you can slow down to speed up.
00:15:09.600 --> 00:15:16.320
You will actually, like from an energetic productive space, when you do allow yourself rest.
00:15:16.320 --> 00:15:18.799
And rest comes in all different shapes and sizes.
00:15:18.799 --> 00:15:21.200
It doesn't mean you, you know, go to bed and sleep for three hours.
00:15:21.200 --> 00:15:22.480
That's not what I'm talking about.
00:15:22.480 --> 00:15:26.960
I'm talking about allowing yourself time to recharge.
00:15:26.960 --> 00:15:29.120
You know, you have a mobile phone.
00:15:29.120 --> 00:15:33.440
If you don't charge your phone, if you don't allow to put the thing on charge, what happens?
00:15:33.440 --> 00:15:34.000
It goes flat.
00:15:34.000 --> 00:15:35.600
And then you then it's useless.
00:15:35.600 --> 00:15:37.039
We are no different.
00:15:37.039 --> 00:15:40.639
As sounds kind of weird to re-like myself to a mobile phone.
00:15:40.639 --> 00:15:42.320
You've got to charge up, right?
00:15:42.320 --> 00:15:48.240
And it's finding your way to charge up because it's what the way Bron charges up might not be the way you charge up.
00:15:48.240 --> 00:15:53.039
So what it does is provide you with that energy and that sustainability.
00:15:53.039 --> 00:15:59.039
And that's where, you know, when adversity comes, whether it's in business especially, you know, we all get knocks.
00:15:59.039 --> 00:16:02.159
If you've got a full battery, you are on your game.
00:16:02.159 --> 00:16:03.519
We all know that.
00:16:03.519 --> 00:16:10.960
Versus when you are drained and you know you've got a 3% on your battery, you can't perform when you need to.
00:16:10.960 --> 00:16:12.559
So I, to me, it's essential.
00:16:12.559 --> 00:16:14.639
It should be part of business 101.
00:16:14.639 --> 00:16:16.000
It shouldn't be something that's learned.
00:16:16.000 --> 00:16:18.320
Other people out there will go, Bron, I've been, what are you talking about?
00:16:18.320 --> 00:16:19.279
I've known that for years.
00:16:19.279 --> 00:16:19.840
Great.
00:16:19.840 --> 00:16:25.120
Well, I was too busy working hard to grow a business, especially when you're growing that business.
00:16:25.120 --> 00:16:29.200
It's finding the balance and this, it's all about the sustainability, I believe, for me.
00:16:29.519 --> 00:16:34.240
I also loved how you said that everyone has to find what works for them.
00:16:34.240 --> 00:16:37.759
There's not a one-size-fits-all solution to this.
00:16:37.759 --> 00:16:42.799
So you have to figure out what is it that works for your situation.
00:16:42.799 --> 00:16:46.799
You're not just saying go and lie in bed and do nothing and put your head in the sand.
00:16:46.799 --> 00:16:54.720
You've got to find a strategy that actually is going to help you through whatever the crisis is that you're dealing with.
00:16:54.720 --> 00:17:15.119
To make it really practical for our audience, for someone currently facing a personal or professional crisis, what are three specific immediate things they can do today to keep their business alive without destroying themselves in the process?
00:17:15.119 --> 00:17:16.880
Okay, right.
00:17:17.039 --> 00:17:17.519
Three.
00:17:17.519 --> 00:17:22.000
Number one, first thing I would suggest is uh be where your feet are.
00:17:22.000 --> 00:17:24.079
Literally look at your feet.
00:17:24.079 --> 00:17:25.519
Where are you sitting?
00:17:25.519 --> 00:17:27.119
What are you doing?
00:17:27.119 --> 00:17:32.720
What this is going to do is bring you back to literally being in the present.
00:17:32.720 --> 00:17:35.519
You are not ruminating about the past.
00:17:35.519 --> 00:17:42.559
You are not projecting to the future, you are sitting in the present and you focus on being where your feet are.
00:17:42.559 --> 00:17:50.319
The next thing I would suggest is look at the emotions that are flowing through you and name it.
00:17:50.319 --> 00:17:51.759
Is it overwhelm?
00:17:51.759 --> 00:17:52.799
Is it frustration?
00:17:52.799 --> 00:17:53.599
Is it anger?
00:17:53.599 --> 00:17:54.400
Is it sadness?
00:17:54.400 --> 00:17:57.519
Whatever the emotion is, name it.
00:17:57.519 --> 00:18:18.160
Because when we are in fight and flight, when we are in that space of when it's all going down or it's a day of overwhelm or, you know, whatever it is, when you name it, when you ename this emotion of what you are feeling, and I would very much encourage you to feel the feels.
00:18:18.160 --> 00:18:21.359
Don't park them for tomorrow, don't park them for next week.
00:18:21.359 --> 00:18:29.039
I was really, really good at basically disconnecting my feelings from my reality because I was too busy doing.
00:18:29.039 --> 00:18:41.200
But when you are where your feet are, and when you name what you're feeling, which is feel it, cry, get angry, do whatever you want to do, whatever the feeling is, but you want to name it, you want to feel it.
00:18:41.200 --> 00:18:44.400
And then we want to control the controllables.
00:18:44.400 --> 00:18:46.480
What's in your control and what's not.
00:18:46.480 --> 00:18:49.839
Most of the time with these situations, you it's out of your control.
00:18:49.839 --> 00:18:55.359
And then we want to pause, we want to reflect, and then we respond.
00:18:55.359 --> 00:19:04.480
And that means you're taking back your power of the situation because you are basing it on what is controllable and what is not.
00:19:04.480 --> 00:19:09.119
And then you're in a better position to make the next decision.
00:19:09.119 --> 00:19:14.160
Not next week's decision, but you know, back in the day, I'd be playing basketball, right?
00:19:14.160 --> 00:19:19.279
So you and I were on the basketball court and I'm playing basketball and I miss the shot.
00:19:19.279 --> 00:19:21.839
The coach brings us all off, time out.
00:19:21.839 --> 00:19:28.559
The coach has two options to either talk about what's just happened or the next play.
00:19:28.559 --> 00:19:36.400
So just like playing basketball, the third thing, once we've done all of those things, is to what's the next play?
00:19:36.400 --> 00:19:42.160
Not next week, not the next game, not next month, but literally the next thing.
00:19:42.160 --> 00:19:51.759
And what that does is it breaks the brain, because a lot of the time the brain has trouble starting things.
00:19:51.759 --> 00:19:57.200
So it could be that the next thing is right, send that email, done.
00:19:57.200 --> 00:20:01.920
It'll automatically start bringing around because motivation is not a thing.
00:20:01.920 --> 00:20:04.799
We've got to, it takes action and then we have motivation, right?
00:20:04.799 --> 00:20:07.359
So it's just meaning we're doing the next thing.
00:20:07.359 --> 00:20:08.640
It could be something really small.
00:20:08.640 --> 00:20:12.319
If you work from home, it could be just putting one thing away from your kitchen bench.
00:20:12.640 --> 00:20:20.640
I love that because I think all the best sports players or sports stars have that ability.
00:20:20.640 --> 00:20:30.880
Even when they've had a bad play or something's gone wrong, they're able to just put the past in the past and just focus on what is the next move.
00:20:30.880 --> 00:20:36.319
And that makes the difference between somebody who wins or who just doesn't get there.
00:20:36.319 --> 00:20:41.920
So just to go over the three that you mentioned, we need to be present in the moment.
00:20:41.920 --> 00:20:44.079
So we be where your feet are.
00:20:44.079 --> 00:20:47.680
Don't ruminate on the past, don't think about the future, be where you are.
00:20:47.680 --> 00:20:48.160
I love that.
00:20:48.160 --> 00:20:52.319
To be present in the moment, to name your feelings and your emotions.
00:20:52.319 --> 00:20:59.599
So don't disconnect from them, recognize what they are and name them, and then control what you can control.
00:20:59.599 --> 00:21:02.960
So also reminding me back to the serenity prayer.
00:21:02.960 --> 00:21:06.480
And then pause, reflect, respond, and take back your power.
00:21:06.480 --> 00:21:08.240
I absolutely love that.
00:21:08.480 --> 00:21:21.279
I was gonna say, and sometimes you might need to rinse and repeat five, ten, fifteen times because it doesn't mean that it's gonna happen in just one miraculous, oh, well, here we are, we're in a serenity moment.
00:21:21.279 --> 00:21:21.920
No, we're not.
00:21:21.920 --> 00:21:24.079
We're still in chaos or we're still in overwhelm.
00:21:24.079 --> 00:21:25.279
Great, let's do it again.
00:21:25.279 --> 00:21:33.200
Let's do it again and again until the frontal load switches on, and then you can make better decisions.
00:21:33.440 --> 00:21:43.519
Yes, and I love your last point, particularly when you said just make even one small step in the right direction, it just starts you to move.
00:21:43.519 --> 00:21:50.319
You don't have to take on a big thing, but just do one thing in the direction that you want to go.
00:21:50.319 --> 00:21:51.519
I love that.
00:21:51.519 --> 00:21:59.680
So, through all that you have gone through, you've maintained an incredible stance of both.
00:21:59.680 --> 00:22:03.359
Cold serenity and calm strength.
00:22:03.359 --> 00:22:19.039
When you look at the legacy you are building with a Serenity Project, what is the ultimate message you hope people take away about living a meaningful life regardless of their circumstances?
00:22:19.359 --> 00:22:27.759
What I would love for people to do is literally the first step, which is to be where their feet are and to find their path.
00:22:27.759 --> 00:22:37.279
Because if you go to the socials, if you go to the internet, you'll find so many million gazillion options that people ask, come and follow this.
00:22:37.279 --> 00:22:47.200
Like in my world in cancer, you know, come and ground up, you know, almond kernels and that'll cure cancer or have alkaline water, that's going to cure your cancer.
00:22:47.200 --> 00:22:51.359
It's about finding what's right for you.
00:22:51.359 --> 00:22:59.599
Because I think that when you find what is right for you for in the moment, because remember, next moment it could be wrong.
00:22:59.599 --> 00:23:00.799
It could be different.
00:23:00.799 --> 00:23:02.640
It's understanding.
00:23:02.640 --> 00:23:16.400
I have this saying which my beautiful, beautiful friend and mentor who's helped me through this learning space of being able to build the muscle around talking about the things I talk around.
00:23:16.400 --> 00:23:19.359
I know I will, I don't know how.
00:23:19.359 --> 00:23:28.400
So I know I will with Serenity Project improve the way we treat cancer patients living through cancer.
00:23:28.400 --> 00:23:30.480
Because right now it's very siloed.
00:23:30.480 --> 00:23:39.359
Take out the word cancer, insert it into whatever adversity is happening in your life and use the same principles.
00:23:39.359 --> 00:23:47.839
So my legacy there would be to find your serenity, find the word that is for you.
00:23:47.839 --> 00:23:51.119
So, Paul, my husband, he likes the word the pause.
00:23:51.119 --> 00:23:53.200
He talks about the pause.
00:23:53.200 --> 00:23:57.519
And that's his word for his time and space.
00:23:57.519 --> 00:24:02.319
Because it's not like sitting and doing a meditation and voila, here we are in serenity.
00:24:02.319 --> 00:24:04.000
No, that is not what it means.
00:24:04.000 --> 00:24:20.720
It means that when I am making a decision or when I am walking into the Cancer Institute, I am right where I need to be in the present, prepared for the present to be able to make the best decision for me, because that best decision for me is exactly the right one.
00:24:20.720 --> 00:24:22.559
Whether it's right or wrong is irrelevant.
00:24:22.559 --> 00:24:29.599
And it's exactly the same for you guys, which is finding that serenity and finding what you know you will.
00:24:29.599 --> 00:24:30.720
You just don't know how.
00:24:30.720 --> 00:24:34.640
And letting go of trying to control it all and plan it all out.
00:24:34.640 --> 00:24:43.119
And just know when you know that and you do the next thing, it's amazing how it just the dots just seem to come together.
00:24:43.359 --> 00:24:44.240
I love that.
00:24:44.240 --> 00:24:47.279
I know I will, I don't know how.
00:24:47.279 --> 00:24:48.400
Excellent.
00:24:48.400 --> 00:24:50.000
I don't know how.
00:24:50.000 --> 00:24:56.799
Let's bridge the gap between high-level vision and grounded execution.
00:24:56.799 --> 00:24:58.880
We call this the Monday move.
00:24:58.880 --> 00:25:07.920
You manage a household of five, a company, the Serenity Project, and all the while having gone through all the treatments, and well done.
00:25:07.920 --> 00:25:11.279
Congratulations when you said I forgot to mention.
00:25:11.279 --> 00:25:13.839
Wow, so exciting that you are in remission.
00:25:13.839 --> 00:25:15.039
It's fantastic.
00:25:15.279 --> 00:25:20.240
I'm beyond excited because for the last five months, one of the cancer markers has been rising.
00:25:20.240 --> 00:25:21.839
And I'm thinking, oh, here we go.
00:25:21.839 --> 00:25:26.799
Yeah, we're going into the next round of active treatment, but active treatment.
00:25:26.799 --> 00:25:28.319
And they've dropped back to normal.
00:25:28.319 --> 00:25:29.920
So it's a huge win.
00:25:29.920 --> 00:25:33.039
Unexpected and in some ways like a miracle.
00:25:33.039 --> 00:25:34.079
So thank you.
00:25:34.079 --> 00:25:35.759
I'm celebrating it myself.
00:25:35.759 --> 00:25:37.839
That's absolutely amazing.
00:25:38.000 --> 00:25:49.920
So getting back to my question, what did you do this past Monday morning to protect your energy and move the needle for your business without overextending your capacity?
00:25:49.920 --> 00:25:51.839
I don't want the philosophy.
00:25:51.839 --> 00:25:53.279
I want the protocol.
00:25:53.599 --> 00:25:54.240
Alrighty.
00:25:54.240 --> 00:26:00.160
So I use Claude a fair bit to, I've trained my Claude.
00:26:00.160 --> 00:26:13.279
I built my next 90 days, practical 90-day plan for the business because I've just done a bit of a pivot and I sent it to the team to read for in ready for our meeting on Monday for tomorrow.
00:26:13.279 --> 00:26:17.839
So I actually built a 90-day plan bit because I know what my priorities are.
00:26:17.839 --> 00:26:22.160
And I know that in there, there's my health in there, which is always number one.
00:26:22.160 --> 00:26:26.000
And uh yeah, pretty darn excited what it looks like.
00:26:26.000 --> 00:26:30.880
And um, yeah, about to be ready to delegate the living, you know what, out of it tomorrow.
00:26:30.880 --> 00:26:33.519
So that's what I did on Monday morning.
00:26:33.839 --> 00:26:34.720
I love that.
00:26:34.720 --> 00:26:36.640
Everyone is talking about Claude.
00:26:36.640 --> 00:26:43.039
I think if we can tap into AI to do some of the heavy lifting for us, absolutely fantastic.
00:26:43.039 --> 00:26:43.839
I'm impressed.
00:26:43.839 --> 00:26:47.440
You've trained your own Claude so that it sets up your 90-day plan.
00:26:47.440 --> 00:26:50.880
And I love that you've put in the things that's important to you.
00:26:50.880 --> 00:26:52.640
So it takes that into consideration.
00:26:52.640 --> 00:26:53.279
Well done.
00:26:53.519 --> 00:27:06.160
Yeah, it builds the whole strategy by quarter, then it builds out, then I've made it, then it's you know, go through the main parts of what I want to do, and then it breaks it into weekly, then it gives me all the tasks that I then can delegate to the team.
00:27:06.160 --> 00:27:09.039
And mine too, but it means that I'm not in overwhelm.
00:27:09.039 --> 00:27:11.359
Like I haven't just spent 5,000 hours doing it.
00:27:11.359 --> 00:27:13.279
It's literally done in half an hour.
00:27:13.599 --> 00:27:14.240
Fantastic.
00:27:14.240 --> 00:27:14.960
Well done.
00:27:14.960 --> 00:27:16.319
Excellent.
00:27:16.319 --> 00:27:19.359
Next is our decision inventory.
00:27:19.359 --> 00:27:24.880
We all make thousands of decisions, but a few define our trajectory.
00:27:24.880 --> 00:27:37.920
Can you tell us about a time you had to make the difficult decision to walk away from a major business opportunity or a demanding client because it threatened your peace?
00:27:37.920 --> 00:27:42.079
What did that no cost you in the short term?
00:27:42.079 --> 00:27:44.720
And what did you gain in the long run?
00:27:44.960 --> 00:27:50.160
I've done numerous versions of this, to be honest, over the last five years.
00:27:50.160 --> 00:27:57.440
I, in terms of clients and business, if it's not in alignment, I do what I call bless and release.
00:27:57.440 --> 00:28:01.440
So financially, it's going to impact, obviously, short term.
00:28:01.440 --> 00:28:11.920
But I also believe when I bless and release that I am allowing space for even more amazing humans to come into my world, aka clients.
00:28:11.920 --> 00:28:13.440
It just does.
00:28:13.440 --> 00:28:17.920
And yeah, because it's I've done the whole when it's not in alignment.
00:28:17.920 --> 00:28:19.119
And it never ends well.
00:28:19.119 --> 00:28:20.880
Well, for me, it never ended well.
00:28:20.880 --> 00:28:24.240
I always ended up with a chaotic, revolting situation.
00:28:24.240 --> 00:28:25.599
Will never ever happen again.
00:28:25.599 --> 00:28:26.400
I will not allow it.
00:28:26.640 --> 00:28:26.799
Yeah.
00:28:26.799 --> 00:28:35.599
So the lesson for our audience is don't be afraid to make those tough decisions because in the short run, they can be difficult, as you say, financially.
00:28:35.599 --> 00:28:40.000
It could be a challenge, but it never ends up being bad in the long run.
00:28:40.000 --> 00:28:43.039
Every time it was the right decision that you made.
00:28:43.279 --> 00:28:43.839
Absolutely.
00:28:43.839 --> 00:28:45.200
And I made it right.
00:28:45.200 --> 00:28:46.640
So that's the whole point.
00:28:46.640 --> 00:28:53.039
When we make decisions for ourselves, we make it right if we stand 100% and back ourselves on that decision.
00:28:53.039 --> 00:28:56.079
You know, when you put it out there, it comes back.
00:28:56.079 --> 00:28:59.599
You know, in social media, what you put it out energetically comes back, right?
00:28:59.599 --> 00:29:01.839
I have divinity proof to share with that.
00:29:01.839 --> 00:29:05.680
But yeah, it's to me, it's a non-negotiable.
00:29:05.680 --> 00:29:06.559
Excellent.
00:29:06.559 --> 00:29:08.160
Thank you for sharing that.
00:29:09.359 --> 00:29:16.559
Now we have come to the segment of our show where I will ask you some rapid fire questions, our version of a game show.
00:29:16.559 --> 00:29:17.759
Are you ready?
00:29:17.759 --> 00:29:19.200
Sure, let's go.
00:29:19.200 --> 00:29:23.359
Okay, this first one's a bit long, so let's see how short we can keep it.
00:29:23.359 --> 00:29:40.480
As someone who mentors other female founders, what is the most dangerous misconception you see about resilience, especially among women entrepreneurs who feel pressured to hold everything together perfectly?
00:29:40.799 --> 00:29:43.119
What came up quickly for me is the mask.
00:29:43.119 --> 00:29:46.799
Women are so good at masking what's really going on underneath.
00:29:46.799 --> 00:29:58.160
And I would love to see a world where entrepreneurs and women build ourselves up, where we do not need to mask, and that we can speak our truth because when we speak our truth, really good stuff happens.
00:29:58.400 --> 00:30:10.240
Yes, I had a guest not that long ago also speak about this, being willing to use our voice, speaking out what we're thinking rather than always trying to be so perfect about everything around us.
00:30:10.240 --> 00:30:11.039
I love that.
00:30:11.359 --> 00:30:12.240
Absolutely.
00:30:12.240 --> 00:30:13.359
Exactly that.
00:30:13.599 --> 00:30:18.559
What is the absolute worst piece of advice people give to someone in crisis?
00:30:18.799 --> 00:30:19.519
You'll be fine.
00:30:19.519 --> 00:30:20.400
You'll be right.
00:30:20.400 --> 00:30:22.559
My Aunt Mary got through that.
00:30:22.559 --> 00:30:24.319
So you know you'll be right, Bron.
00:30:24.319 --> 00:30:26.160
Do not ever say you'll be right.
00:30:26.160 --> 00:30:32.079
You don't know, and it's fake words and it lands really badly, especially when you multiply it out by a hundred.
00:30:32.319 --> 00:30:33.920
So, what's a better phrase to use?
00:30:33.920 --> 00:30:38.160
I think we all feel a bit awkward when someone is going through a difficult time.
00:30:38.160 --> 00:30:39.920
So, what is a better way to approach?
00:30:40.160 --> 00:30:42.640
The way I approach it for me is I acknowledge.
00:30:42.640 --> 00:30:44.880
I'm so sorry this is happening to you.
00:30:44.880 --> 00:30:46.319
It must really suck.
00:30:46.319 --> 00:30:48.000
And how can I support you?
00:30:48.000 --> 00:30:49.279
Not how can I help?
00:30:49.279 --> 00:30:52.720
If you just ring me, it's how can I support and I acknowledge.
00:30:52.720 --> 00:30:55.279
If we just acknowledge, it's gonna go a long way.
00:30:55.519 --> 00:30:56.079
I like that.
00:30:56.079 --> 00:30:57.200
That was very practical.
00:30:57.200 --> 00:31:01.279
I think that's one of the key takeaways I've had today from this conversation.
00:31:01.279 --> 00:31:01.839
I love it.
00:31:01.839 --> 00:31:06.160
A mantra or phrase that keeps you going on the hard days.
00:31:06.480 --> 00:31:07.680
Be where my feet are.
00:31:07.680 --> 00:31:09.920
It just brings me back to where I need to be.
00:31:10.079 --> 00:31:12.400
And I think I know the answer, but I'm gonna ask you anyway.
00:31:12.400 --> 00:31:16.400
One business tool or app you couldn't run your agency without.
00:31:16.640 --> 00:31:18.480
Well, it's my little friend Claude.
00:31:18.480 --> 00:31:19.599
There's loads of tools.
00:31:19.599 --> 00:31:20.799
Gemini, co-pop.
00:31:20.799 --> 00:31:21.599
There's so many.
00:31:21.599 --> 00:31:22.559
Find whatever you want.
00:31:22.559 --> 00:31:28.319
For me, I find that it's a cracking tool when you feed it the skills, and it's super cool.
00:31:28.319 --> 00:31:29.680
Does lots of cool stuff.
00:31:29.920 --> 00:31:31.119
I'm gonna have to look into it.
00:31:31.119 --> 00:31:32.799
I use Gemini, I like it a lot.
00:31:32.799 --> 00:31:35.440
I use Notebook LM, I like it a lot.
00:31:35.440 --> 00:31:36.720
But I'm going to have to try.
00:31:36.720 --> 00:31:40.400
I just hear everyone talking, saying such good things about Claude.
00:31:40.640 --> 00:31:42.079
For me at the moment, I mean, who knows?
00:31:42.079 --> 00:31:43.839
Give it another six months, it might be different.
00:31:43.839 --> 00:31:47.759
But it's just giving, it doesn't ruminate and it doesn't go off on tangents.
00:31:47.759 --> 00:31:50.480
It's well, it just seems to be a lot more factual.
00:31:50.480 --> 00:31:55.599
I think maybe it's the way I've trained it, but for me, I'm finding it better and in the marketing space.
00:31:55.599 --> 00:31:57.920
But everyone's got to try whatever's right for them.
00:31:58.160 --> 00:32:01.599
One book or podcast that always lifts your spirits.
00:32:01.839 --> 00:32:06.319
Well, I've just seen Mel Robbins Live, and she's a cracking woman.
00:32:06.319 --> 00:32:08.880
She's exactly what she was, and she reads her own book.
00:32:08.880 --> 00:32:12.400
And I love authors who actually read their own book for Audible.
00:32:12.400 --> 00:32:14.960
So I'm going to go with Let Them by Mel Robbins.
00:32:15.200 --> 00:32:19.440
What's something you wish more people understood about chronic illness?
00:32:19.680 --> 00:32:26.160
What I wish people understood about chronic illness is just to have acknowledgement of that person.
00:32:26.160 --> 00:32:32.799
And like I had someone say to me the other day, you know, like I haven't been touched by cancer and I haven't been, and I'm going, okay, well, that's great.
00:32:32.799 --> 00:32:33.599
Well done, you.
00:32:33.599 --> 00:32:35.119
Everyone's been touched by adversity.
00:32:35.119 --> 00:32:38.559
So when it comes to chronic illness, you can't fix it.
00:32:38.559 --> 00:32:42.319
The person may not be able to fix it, but they're doing their darndest.
00:32:42.319 --> 00:32:52.640
So if we could acknowledge people who are absolutely literally, when they're fighting for their lives, we should be, we should be literally along the, you know, imagine like a triathlon.
00:32:52.640 --> 00:32:56.480
And, you know, we're along the lines of the pars and we're cheering people on.
00:32:56.480 --> 00:32:59.519
That's what we should be doing with our, with those people with chronic illness.
00:32:59.519 --> 00:33:12.319
When I say ostracized, they're not being excluded by literally being ostracized, but exclusion by that they're just not in the lane of what the world perceives to be as normal.
00:33:12.319 --> 00:33:13.599
It's a very different place.
00:33:13.599 --> 00:33:18.240
Remembering I've been a nurse educator, so I've been on one side of the bed and now I'm in the one in it.
00:33:18.240 --> 00:33:23.680
It's very, very different when you're in it in a long-term marathon-y kind of way.
00:33:23.680 --> 00:33:27.680
A favorite way you practice serenity or self-care?
00:33:27.680 --> 00:33:29.039
One thing I love.
00:33:29.039 --> 00:33:32.079
Do you remember back in the 90s a book called The Artist Way?
00:33:32.079 --> 00:33:39.920
It's a book that has, she's like this program and she talks about morning pages, which is really journaling, but it's morning pages.
00:33:39.920 --> 00:33:44.400
And so one thing I do for me is, and you write down whatever's in your head.
00:33:44.400 --> 00:33:46.480
You don't write to-do lists, you're just writing it.
00:33:46.480 --> 00:33:51.839
I don't, you know, sometimes even you're writing, well, I don't really know what to write, but I'm just writing, because it's about writing three pages.
00:33:51.839 --> 00:33:56.240
And no, most mornings, not all mornings, I will write my morning pages.
00:33:56.240 --> 00:34:00.000
I think it's just a great way to get out your thoughts out of your brain.
00:34:00.000 --> 00:34:02.480
It's a psychological thing as well, like especially in education.
00:34:02.480 --> 00:34:10.000
When you write things down, it takes it out of your thought processes and just separates you from the whirling and the rumination.
00:34:10.000 --> 00:34:12.000
Yeah, I cannot speak highly enough.
00:34:12.000 --> 00:34:14.960
So people talk about journaling, I just call it morning pages.
00:34:14.960 --> 00:34:16.239
Excellent.
00:34:17.199 --> 00:34:19.679
Bron, we have one final tradition.
00:34:19.679 --> 00:34:22.079
We call it the Green Pill Reflection.
00:34:22.079 --> 00:34:26.239
I'm going to ask you one thing that might feel a bit unsettling.
00:34:26.239 --> 00:34:30.239
I'm going to ask for the truth, not the PR answer.
00:34:30.239 --> 00:34:42.960
You have become a lighthouse for so many people through the Serenity Project, teaching them how to find calm in the middle of a storm that has no end date.
00:34:42.960 --> 00:34:47.360
But being the strong one can be its own kind of cage.
00:34:47.360 --> 00:35:00.880
What is one truth about your own fear or your own glitchy days that you feel you have to hide so that you can keep being the leader everyone else needs you to be?
00:35:01.360 --> 00:35:04.480
I absolutely have bad days.
00:35:04.480 --> 00:35:06.880
Good days, bad days.
00:35:06.880 --> 00:35:20.239
The difference between the what I even call the old brawn and this bronn is that on those days, I allow myself to do whatever I need to do to heal on the day.
00:35:20.239 --> 00:35:23.199
Everything that I talk about, I do for me, right?
00:35:23.199 --> 00:35:27.440
So I'm sharing with whatever people want to take away, they take away.
00:35:27.440 --> 00:35:32.480
I don't share because I want to make people better.
00:35:32.480 --> 00:35:39.679
I'm sharing to provide awareness for someone to find their own serenity.
00:35:39.679 --> 00:35:42.400
So I am so within my own serenity.
00:35:42.400 --> 00:35:44.639
Like I'm not the serenity project.
00:35:44.639 --> 00:35:45.920
I'm Ron, the mother of five.
00:35:45.920 --> 00:35:47.840
I've got the businesses and da-da-da-da-da.
00:35:47.840 --> 00:35:50.559
It's part of my mission.
00:35:50.559 --> 00:35:54.800
And on the bad days, I'll cancel everything if I have to.
00:35:54.800 --> 00:35:56.239
Not a problem at all.
00:35:56.239 --> 00:36:02.880
I have no guilt around it because my health and my well-being and my healing path are my number one.
00:36:02.880 --> 00:36:06.480
And I just, it always seems to work out.
00:36:06.480 --> 00:36:08.079
And yeah, lots of bad days.
00:36:08.079 --> 00:36:09.199
Don't you worry about that.
00:36:09.440 --> 00:36:15.679
Well, thank you so much for your honesty and for being human honest with us today.
00:36:15.679 --> 00:36:19.199
It's a privilege to witness your journey.
00:36:19.199 --> 00:36:31.920
Bron, for the listeners who want to learn more about your work at the Social Coach or find the support of the Serenity Project, where is the best place for them to find and follow you?
00:36:32.239 --> 00:36:43.199
I think the best way, obviously, if it's Serenity Project, so Serenityproject.com.au, you know, on so in LinkedIn on LinkedIn, on Facebook, Insta, come find me, just Bron Watson, you'll find me there.
00:36:43.199 --> 00:36:45.119
Any questions, please let me know.
00:36:45.119 --> 00:36:49.119
And um, whether it be business or whether it be adversity, more than happy.
00:36:49.119 --> 00:36:50.320
I answer every question.
00:36:50.320 --> 00:36:53.280
So, because everyone has different parts of where they're at.
00:36:53.280 --> 00:36:55.920
So if I don't know something, I'll know someone who does.
00:36:55.920 --> 00:36:57.199
So that's probably the best way.
00:36:57.199 --> 00:37:01.119
Reach out, LinkedIn, wherever, and um I look forward to catching up with you.
00:37:01.440 --> 00:37:01.760
Perfect.
00:37:01.760 --> 00:37:02.480
Thank you very much.
00:37:02.480 --> 00:37:05.360
And we'll also add these to the show notes.
