The Scuttlebutt

WEBVTT
1
00:00:00.040 --> 00:00:21.280
This is the downbeat on ninety seven
to one. The freak didn't my native
2
00:00:21.320 --> 00:00:25.800
tongue. Do you know any words
in Italian you're gonna use? Huh?
3
00:00:25.879 --> 00:00:29.719
Do you know any words in Italian? Yeah? Absolutely, barely know what
4
00:00:29.760 --> 00:00:34.920
cities you're going to get choo train. They do. I did notice this.
5
00:00:35.000 --> 00:00:38.479
They do appreciate even if you're speaking
English, if you do it like
6
00:00:38.520 --> 00:00:41.719
in that accent. Yeah I did. I did. Yeah, you blend
7
00:00:41.759 --> 00:00:46.039
in with your Texas Ranger cap that. I have no doubt you're gonna be
8
00:00:46.039 --> 00:00:49.039
wearing holes? Can I get the
pie? Do you have any clothes laid
9
00:00:49.079 --> 00:00:51.520
out? Specific? Or is this
a pack? Bro? But are we
10
00:00:51.560 --> 00:00:54.280
going with rather just kind of the
cavio. Look you have like a nice
11
00:00:54.600 --> 00:00:57.200
like a linen button down or just
something to look kind of? I don't
12
00:00:57.240 --> 00:01:00.520
really do linen. It rubs up. It makes my nipples chafe. To
13
00:01:00.560 --> 00:01:04.640
get some shirts? Look, get
some shirts cool, it's cool. I
14
00:01:04.719 --> 00:01:08.519
want you to go through the t
s A checkpoint dressed as Chef Boyard d
15
00:01:11.920 --> 00:01:18.239
to get the way I'm going.
Do you think that's funny? If you
16
00:01:18.280 --> 00:01:25.840
look like Chef Boyard, it's like
Dave too. I actually I'm wear joggers
17
00:01:25.840 --> 00:01:27.840
on the plane. Is that bad? What if you get a bone max
18
00:01:27.920 --> 00:01:34.480
comfort on the plane? Yeah,
I agree. Joggers in a little sweater,
19
00:01:34.200 --> 00:01:38.599
a little cardigan, yeah, little
hoodie in case it gets cool,
20
00:01:38.159 --> 00:01:44.959
a little jumper. A scuba tank. Yeah, we didn't go that far
21
00:01:45.040 --> 00:01:49.359
overboard to get you a scuba tank. As long as you're going to be
22
00:01:49.359 --> 00:01:52.079
in the water, that's really not
going to help you much anyway. No,
23
00:01:52.680 --> 00:01:57.120
if you're under the water, you're
it's gone poorly for you. Anyway
24
00:01:57.280 --> 00:01:59.079
you want to, you're gonna want
to stay at the surface. That's why
25
00:01:59.120 --> 00:02:02.200
we brought you the water. That's
the pool noodle. Thank you for the
26
00:02:02.239 --> 00:02:07.960
water, weenie. I was gonna
buy inflatable arm things for kids or water
27
00:02:08.000 --> 00:02:14.280
wings. Water wings, Oh,
Malcolms wouldn't fit you. I was at
28
00:02:14.280 --> 00:02:16.479
the store. You're gonna fit those
guns, and I'm like, I'm not
29
00:02:16.560 --> 00:02:20.960
spending ten bucks on these. Yeah, don't. This pool noodle was three
30
00:02:21.000 --> 00:02:24.120
bucks. Yeah, my joke limits. My joke limits usually twenty dollars.
31
00:02:24.199 --> 00:02:30.319
But that damn noodle is going to
stay in my house forever now. Yeah,
32
00:02:30.360 --> 00:02:32.280
but you can have fun with it, will you autograph the Oh?
33
00:02:32.360 --> 00:02:38.319
Yeah, the pool noodle yes,
so we can and date it no reason.
34
00:02:38.560 --> 00:02:43.439
Will you take a magic Will you
take a sharpie and draw a cavio
35
00:02:43.560 --> 00:02:50.400
mustache on Malcolm's rubber duck? Yeah
they can remember you remember me going to
36
00:02:50.439 --> 00:02:53.039
Italy? Bro? You get your
passport ready? Yeah? You have a
37
00:02:53.080 --> 00:02:58.039
passport right? Yeah, I'll to
Toronto once. You're gonna get your passport
38
00:02:58.159 --> 00:03:01.719
stamp. I knows maybe in Barcelona
too, well, you're not gonna leave
39
00:03:01.759 --> 00:03:07.400
customs, right, I think so
he won't get stamped in BARSI time.
40
00:03:08.439 --> 00:03:15.039
You better you better learn a couple
of phrases in Italian. You better learn
41
00:03:15.120 --> 00:03:20.840
how to order coffee. Yeah,
bathroom yep, I pretending like I'm deaf.
42
00:03:21.680 --> 00:03:25.439
That's going to actually pretty strategy.
But then you probably should learn sign
43
00:03:25.520 --> 00:03:30.879
language. If you far really loudly, you have to yell excuse EXCUSEA.
44
00:03:30.000 --> 00:03:36.240
That's my favorite thing, looking for
riving a fat one and going excuseay e
45
00:03:36.240 --> 00:03:39.919
scoozye. I think the one phrase
that I've made sure that I knew was
46
00:03:40.919 --> 00:03:50.560
na caffe one one coffee please,
because you're gonna want to drink a bunch
47
00:03:50.560 --> 00:03:53.680
of coffee over there. He doesn't
drink too much coffee. Yeah, he
48
00:03:53.719 --> 00:03:57.680
does every morning I drink coffee,
but you're gonna get in the little cup.
49
00:03:58.159 --> 00:04:02.919
You're gonna get a real Italian coffee. The cadillac of breakfast, breads,
50
00:04:03.120 --> 00:04:08.800
tons of bakery, bakery items.
Dress. You need to go to
51
00:04:08.800 --> 00:04:14.240
a little cafe under a little overhang
and sit outside. What if some Italian
52
00:04:14.280 --> 00:04:16.399
beauty falls in love with you?
What are you gonna do? Fiance?
53
00:04:16.600 --> 00:04:23.040
Yeah, but he can't help it
if it looks like an Italian Selma hyak.
54
00:04:23.399 --> 00:04:26.360
Yeah, I couldn't think of a
famous hot Italian. There's got italians,
55
00:04:26.439 --> 00:04:30.639
Selma hia. I don't know,
Well, who's the hottest famous Italian?
56
00:04:30.759 --> 00:04:36.680
Go Mario, Mario, I don't
know. You don't think about Italian
57
00:04:36.839 --> 00:04:41.519
much in that way when it comes
to we all think of Italian women are
58
00:04:41.560 --> 00:04:46.079
hot, but you can't think of
there's nothing better snookie then waking up early
59
00:04:46.160 --> 00:04:54.199
and walking down to the piazza,
get you a nice ownA cafe, and
60
00:04:54.319 --> 00:05:00.079
we get Alexandra de Dario. Oh
she's got Italian heritage, LUs she so
61
00:05:00.120 --> 00:05:02.000
what if she tries to steal you? Yep? Maybe you should watch True
62
00:05:02.040 --> 00:05:05.560
Detective season one. I don't need
to watch way over just one scene.
63
00:05:05.720 --> 00:05:11.079
Just stare at that watch the plane
and leave that scene in front of you
64
00:05:11.120 --> 00:05:13.720
for the whole flo I'm not going
to pull a Ben and have Nayling Palin
65
00:05:13.839 --> 00:05:18.240
up on my computer on the plane. How that happen? You're gonna bring
66
00:05:18.279 --> 00:05:23.160
it to land the plane in Birmingham
out of nowhere. They divert because of
67
00:05:23.240 --> 00:05:27.399
Ben's plane Porno. There's there's been
a situation. We're going to lay this
68
00:05:27.480 --> 00:05:34.439
bird down. It's because Ben was
watching Naylan Palin. The hell? Are
69
00:05:34.439 --> 00:05:38.480
you gonna bring your sleep mask on
the plane. That's a good idea.
70
00:05:39.399 --> 00:05:42.879
Kevin and I are sleeping. I
have sleeps ready to go, and it's
71
00:05:42.920 --> 00:05:46.079
kind of a nap game changer.
I've never in my life been sleep mask
72
00:05:46.120 --> 00:05:47.160
guy, but now I am.
You love it, don't you? I
73
00:05:47.199 --> 00:05:50.439
love it because there's something also you
associate with it. You put over your
74
00:05:50.439 --> 00:05:55.480
face. It's comforting, and then
it it kind of lets you know that
75
00:05:55.519 --> 00:05:58.560
it's time to shut it down for
a while. It works. I'm bringing
76
00:05:58.600 --> 00:06:00.480
on the plane in Vegas. I
don't need to get one of those.
77
00:06:00.600 --> 00:06:03.759
Yeah, I've never had it.
Because I read an article about the like
78
00:06:03.800 --> 00:06:09.439
putting up not for me, but
the youth are putting like a sweater around
79
00:06:09.480 --> 00:06:13.279
their head. It swaddles their whole
head. Yeah, that's helping them sleep,
80
00:06:13.360 --> 00:06:16.199
you feel comfortable or whatever. Have
you seen the inflatable thing? Yeah,
81
00:06:16.560 --> 00:06:19.920
in it and it's like a cube
and you put your head down into
82
00:06:19.920 --> 00:06:23.720
it. Yeah. I got one
of those you do for the plane as
83
00:06:23.800 --> 00:06:25.680
she got two of them. I
was like, all right, cool,
84
00:06:26.040 --> 00:06:28.920
I've never liked the next thing.
The next thing's never really worked because you're
85
00:06:28.920 --> 00:06:33.879
probably wearing it backwards. I'm wearing
on my foot. That's that's one reason
86
00:06:34.160 --> 00:06:38.480
everybody wears the next thing backwards.
Oh you think the opening is in the
87
00:06:38.519 --> 00:06:41.959
back? Yeah? Yeah, the
opening is in the back, is that
88
00:06:42.040 --> 00:06:45.839
right? Yeah? You put it
like this, not like that. Yeah,
89
00:06:46.160 --> 00:06:48.600
it works. I think the the
neck pillow is awesome if you wear
90
00:06:48.639 --> 00:06:53.439
it right and you just kind of
set your chin down on it. But
91
00:06:53.480 --> 00:06:58.000
if you have the little space the
break in the front, it's like what
92
00:06:58.040 --> 00:07:00.199
am I doing? But if you
lay head back or to the side,
93
00:07:00.319 --> 00:07:03.560
I guess it works either way.
Right, Well, you've got the head
94
00:07:03.560 --> 00:07:06.120
rest for back, and you know
that's the whole point is to keep your
95
00:07:06.319 --> 00:07:10.639
head from because that's the thing is
when you're nodding off in a seated position.
96
00:07:11.120 --> 00:07:14.519
You always wake up when you get
to that. That keeps you from
97
00:07:14.600 --> 00:07:18.639
going right, you don't want to
go I'll sleep for ten minutes. Yeah,
98
00:07:19.680 --> 00:07:21.600
boy, it sucks trying to sleep
on a plane. And then you
99
00:07:21.600 --> 00:07:26.000
try to do that, I'll lean
forward onto the tray and put my hand
100
00:07:26.040 --> 00:07:29.199
on my arms. That doesn't work. I'm going to lean into the the
101
00:07:29.480 --> 00:07:34.680
to the blow up inflatable box cube. It's deaf. It's difficult to describe.
102
00:07:34.680 --> 00:07:36.439
I think I know what you mean. Is there a little stunt for
103
00:07:36.439 --> 00:07:40.959
your hands too, like this block
and you kind of put your face down.
104
00:07:41.000 --> 00:07:45.639
Yeah, it's kind of good.
It's soft. Yeah. One thing
105
00:07:45.680 --> 00:07:47.600
that you're going to love, at
least I did, and you're gonna want
106
00:07:47.600 --> 00:07:54.399
to embrace. First of all,
dinner is late and it's long, right
107
00:07:54.680 --> 00:07:57.879
yeah, well nice, Yeah,
And you can sit and have dinner for
108
00:07:57.920 --> 00:08:01.240
two or three hours, and it
can go to ten eleven o'clock at night
109
00:08:01.279 --> 00:08:05.879
in some places, and you're but
you're gonna get up early. You're gonna
110
00:08:05.879 --> 00:08:07.480
want to get up early, and
you're like, well, when do I
111
00:08:07.560 --> 00:08:13.199
sleep? There's this cultural thing in
Europe and specifically Italy called siesta, and
112
00:08:13.240 --> 00:08:16.680
that's pretty much when everything shuts down
from what would you say, Mikey,
113
00:08:16.720 --> 00:08:22.360
from about two to five something like
that. They do like the restaurants.
114
00:08:22.399 --> 00:08:26.879
Everything is just kind of shut down
and everyone takes a big fat net.
115
00:08:28.040 --> 00:08:31.199
Is so the afternoon. I am
looking forward to siesta. Yeah, you
116
00:08:31.240 --> 00:08:33.720
get up early, you do stuff
in the morning. Yeah, it's great.
117
00:08:33.720 --> 00:08:37.759
I bounce, especially on vacation,
on trips. I'm let's go late
118
00:08:37.879 --> 00:08:41.960
nights. Lots of veno, lots
of heavy pasta. You just crash out
119
00:08:41.039 --> 00:08:45.559
and you wake up. You get
about the six hours of sleep. Wake
120
00:08:45.679 --> 00:08:48.519
up. You need to try the
mortadella too, which is essentially blooney,
121
00:08:50.399 --> 00:08:54.360
but it's like quality. If their
place has like a mortadella appetizer, get
122
00:08:54.399 --> 00:08:58.279
it because you don't think I don't
want baloney. But good you do.
123
00:08:58.399 --> 00:09:03.200
God, it's amazing. You're gonna
eat so good. Kevin, I'm gonna
124
00:09:03.240 --> 00:09:07.159
be a huge balloon. Hers not
me? Who cares? Not me?
125
00:09:09.039 --> 00:09:16.759
Maybe once we talked about me too
much today? No, like unlike me.
126
00:09:18.360 --> 00:09:22.200
Kevin Gray is another Kevin, and
he has a podcast called Inside the
127
00:09:22.240 --> 00:09:26.159
MAVs. It's the official MAVs podcast
of ninety seven. Won the Freak and
128
00:09:26.159 --> 00:09:28.919
they're getting ready for MAVs and Clippers. He's got big guests, including the
129
00:09:30.039 --> 00:09:33.960
great Mark Followell all right, Tim
Cato, the Athletic He's talk, Franco
130
00:09:35.000 --> 00:09:37.840
of D Magazine, and more.
I'm gonna try to get Kevin Gray to
131
00:09:37.919 --> 00:09:41.440
join us Thursday for an half hour
Maverick playoff preview. We're gonna try to
132
00:09:41.440 --> 00:09:45.519
get a Kevin every day to join
us. Maybe let's do that. I
133
00:09:45.559 --> 00:09:48.320
got Spacey lined up for Friday.
If you're down, Yeah, yeah,
134
00:09:48.360 --> 00:09:52.799
we got Kevin Spacey's first time on
a live radio interview in five years.
135
00:09:54.360 --> 00:09:58.120
For real, Let's try to get
a Kevin Kevin great Thursday. I need
136
00:09:58.120 --> 00:10:01.480
to get a Kevin from hit him
with a bunch of ass balls. We
137
00:10:01.559 --> 00:10:05.120
call our old friend Monty. He
might still have Kevin James's number, Okay,
138
00:10:05.320 --> 00:10:09.159
perfect, King of Queen's perfect.
All right, let's do this,
139
00:10:09.240 --> 00:10:24.360
Hinch, Kevin Minch. You can
get Mention on to talk rangers Namo.
140
00:10:26.200 --> 00:10:31.480
Okay, we get Kevin Costner.
Got to just leave a fifteen minute talkback.
141
00:10:31.960 --> 00:10:35.360
We don't have talkbacks either. I
don't know how to do it.
142
00:10:37.159 --> 00:10:39.879
Do you train me on everything?
Kevin? Pull us some extra talkbacks today?
143
00:10:41.080 --> 00:10:46.240
No? Will you pre record some
talkbacks of the future, No,
144
00:10:46.360 --> 00:10:52.559
of the future. Yeah, okay, So I saw the story ken on
145
00:10:52.559 --> 00:10:54.759
the USA today today. So the
Rangers gave all their clubhouse guys. The
146
00:10:56.120 --> 00:10:58.480
Becks did this too, but the
Rangers made more money. They gave all
147
00:10:58.519 --> 00:11:03.080
the clubbies five hundred can each hitting. No, they did, Yes,
148
00:11:03.120 --> 00:11:05.919
they did for the World Series.
Because all the Rangers got five hundred thousand
149
00:11:05.919 --> 00:11:11.440
dollars checks for winning the World Series. They gave them. They did not
150
00:11:11.480 --> 00:11:16.279
give their clubhouse. They gave all
the clubies half their million dollars. Five
151
00:11:16.360 --> 00:11:20.879
hundred and five thousand dollars. Are
you Kidding's beautiful? Changed their life.
152
00:11:20.960 --> 00:11:24.200
And there's the interviews got some of
these clubbies talking about paying for their house.
153
00:11:24.279 --> 00:11:26.120
Oh my god, dude, it's
a great And the Diamondbacks did the
154
00:11:26.159 --> 00:11:30.799
same thing, three hundred and twenty
thousand for them, and they hooked up
155
00:11:30.840 --> 00:11:35.240
all of their clubbies. Now this
was a thing you never heard about a
156
00:11:35.240 --> 00:11:39.399
team. I mean I've heard about
you know, you tip your your clubbies
157
00:11:39.480 --> 00:11:41.799
and if you win the World Series
there's a little bonus. But I thought,
158
00:11:43.919 --> 00:11:46.360
I mean, that is insane,
Like if you'd have told me they
159
00:11:46.360 --> 00:11:52.480
gave them thirty thousand dollars. My
eyebrow would have raised even at that.
160
00:11:52.679 --> 00:11:56.440
I would have thought maybe five to
ten grand at best. Everyone is serious
161
00:11:56.480 --> 00:12:00.639
this interviews. It's a USA today. It's like some of these clubbies who
162
00:12:01.039 --> 00:12:05.879
did the interview were like just talking
about how unexpected it was both sides.
163
00:12:05.919 --> 00:12:09.200
They were not expecting that. Dude, if you gave Mark Cuban a half
164
00:12:09.240 --> 00:12:11.600
a million dollars, just here,
here's a half a million dollars, he'd
165
00:12:11.600 --> 00:12:16.159
be like, whoa, why,
thanks, Oh my god, that's a
166
00:12:16.159 --> 00:12:18.960
lot of money. Man. It
was also they like, and they're talking
167
00:12:20.000 --> 00:12:22.559
about the hours too. These guys
work, which if Rangers play at seven,
168
00:12:24.639 --> 00:12:30.080
those guys get there before noon and
they're not done until midnight. Yeah,
169
00:12:30.200 --> 00:12:33.080
and I got a tough job on
then road trips, all the pouch
170
00:12:33.320 --> 00:12:37.039
or just the system you have to
follow. I know, the road club.
171
00:12:37.080 --> 00:12:39.799
He is a good gig because you
just take care of the road team,
172
00:12:39.919 --> 00:12:43.519
right, Yeah, because they have
their own I'm sure, but yeah,
173
00:12:43.559 --> 00:12:46.519
there's something you do and then they
can tip you too per road.
174
00:12:46.639 --> 00:12:52.720
Yes, and I know they all
get nice seasonal season ending gifts and bonuses
175
00:12:52.759 --> 00:12:56.759
from the players. But I suppose
if you win the World Series, Yeah,
176
00:12:56.480 --> 00:12:58.519
you could expect a big boy.
That is great. I wonder if
177
00:12:58.519 --> 00:13:03.000
they had any the idea that it
was they were going to make that much
178
00:13:03.080 --> 00:13:07.320
money. Uh, it doesn't seem
like they had any clue and it doesn't
179
00:13:07.320 --> 00:13:11.679
say like whose idea it was,
but both teams did it, which makes
180
00:13:11.679 --> 00:13:15.120
you like the Uh that makes you
like the Diamondbacks a little more too,
181
00:13:15.200 --> 00:13:18.879
you know, you know, you
think about like how much Corey Seeker makes.
182
00:13:20.240 --> 00:13:22.039
Yes, his Rangers got five hundred
and five thousand dollars checks. The
183
00:13:22.519 --> 00:13:26.440
Diamondbacks got three hundred and thirteen thousand
dollars checks. So that was that was
184
00:13:26.519 --> 00:13:31.440
the team World Series bonuses too,
or something like that, because yeah,
185
00:13:31.480 --> 00:13:35.840
I said, they they wanted the
everyone in their in their house or in
186
00:13:35.879 --> 00:13:39.559
their room right to get paid the
same thing we got paid. Yeah,
187
00:13:39.639 --> 00:13:43.799
incredible, that's so nice. That
is awesome. Stories. It is life
188
00:13:43.919 --> 00:13:48.879
changing. Jimmy Garrett, who handles
who also handles the umpire's room, not
189
00:13:48.919 --> 00:13:52.120
only paid off his house, but
travel to Baltimore and New York with his
190
00:13:52.159 --> 00:14:00.320
wife to watch the final performances of
Kiss all Right spend that money the time
191
00:14:00.440 --> 00:14:03.919
Garrett had seen them perform, I
wanted to see their last show. Paul
192
00:14:03.960 --> 00:14:05.879
Seawold said that the thank yous and
tips are great for these guys at the
193
00:14:05.960 --> 00:14:07.799
end of the year, but when
you get to the World Series, that
194
00:14:07.919 --> 00:14:11.600
check starts to get life changing.
They can pay off their mortgage, their
195
00:14:11.639 --> 00:14:13.720
kids can go to any college they
want. That's really special. So that's
196
00:14:13.919 --> 00:14:22.399
a nice story right there. That
is cool. Janikowski said. They all
197
00:14:22.440 --> 00:14:24.600
came and thanked us, and we
were like, you guys are welcome,
198
00:14:24.639 --> 00:14:28.200
but we're not really doing you a
favor. You deserve this. You guys
199
00:14:28.200 --> 00:14:31.840
work terrible hours. They do,
work eleven a m. Till midnight.
200
00:14:31.799 --> 00:14:35.399
What a cool story. Snow glory
and washing underwear and jockstraps, cleaning the
201
00:14:35.440 --> 00:14:39.039
showers, vacuuting the clubhouse floors.
I mean, yeah, you are a
202
00:14:39.120 --> 00:14:46.600
high performance janitor, right part of
it. That's cool, tending to their
203
00:14:46.600 --> 00:14:52.360
every need. Yes, you probably
got a few high maintenance nuts on every
204
00:14:52.399 --> 00:14:56.120
team. Yeap. Oh my god, you're writing the phone number down and
205
00:14:56.200 --> 00:15:01.200
running it up to some hot in
the ninth row. Put the number on
206
00:15:01.240 --> 00:15:05.120
a baseball, throw it to her. That's really nice. Uh. Other
207
00:15:05.240 --> 00:15:11.240
stories, So now have nice stories
today. Nice stories besides one wait till
208
00:15:11.279 --> 00:15:15.440
eight thirty homie. Yeah woof.
By the way, guys, the nine
209
00:15:15.480 --> 00:15:18.879
o'clock segments day won't be podcasted.
So if you're one of those people who
210
00:15:18.919 --> 00:15:22.639
listens on podcasts only, why did
you you tweeted that out? And I
211
00:15:22.679 --> 00:15:26.759
don't understand why you mean one of
the two hundred thousand podcast downloads we get
212
00:15:26.759 --> 00:15:30.879
every month. Yes, you're not
gonna get that one today, nine am
213
00:15:30.960 --> 00:15:35.279
segment, So listen live or get
nothing. That's mean. Poll Dant's coming
214
00:15:35.360 --> 00:15:37.759
up in eight minutes. There's been
some new polls, guys. I've been
215
00:15:37.759 --> 00:15:41.320
tracking them and I think we've got
a chance for our listeners to contribute two
216
00:15:41.320 --> 00:15:45.679
one four eight one seven seven eight
seven one nine seven to one. Next
217
00:15:45.679 --> 00:15:50.120
segment, Scotti Scheffer gets back to
town. Dodge's the media interviews like I'm
218
00:15:50.159 --> 00:15:52.639
trying to answer your questions to get
back home. My wife's pregnant, about
219
00:15:52.639 --> 00:15:54.120
to have a baby. Gotta get
home. I just want to get home.
220
00:15:54.200 --> 00:15:58.080
Kept saying it multiple times, gotta
get home, she's about to pop.
221
00:15:58.240 --> 00:16:03.399
Gotta get home. Well, he
was hanging out in Dallas last night.
222
00:16:03.440 --> 00:16:08.000
Did you see this Danny in wood
taver to the tav Are you allowed
223
00:16:08.000 --> 00:16:11.879
to go have drinks once? You
get home from winning the Masters, after
224
00:16:11.919 --> 00:16:15.519
you've told everyone in the world you
got to get home to be next next
225
00:16:15.559 --> 00:16:18.919
to your pregnant wife. Look,
if you've got two of those green bastards
226
00:16:18.919 --> 00:16:21.759
hanging in your closet, you can
pretty much do whatever you want. I
227
00:16:21.759 --> 00:16:26.440
would think, Yeah, that's the
ultimate walk out to the curb. Take
228
00:16:26.480 --> 00:16:32.919
a look at this house. I
guess, man, you're welcome. That's
229
00:16:33.320 --> 00:16:36.639
He's just basically said, Look,
I don't like doing media. That's all
230
00:16:36.639 --> 00:16:40.080
it is. I think this is
kind of I mean, I think it's
231
00:16:40.120 --> 00:16:41.919
awesome. I obviously don't care,
but it's a little odd. We were
232
00:16:41.919 --> 00:16:47.000
talking yesterday about the Master's trinket he
gets from making an eagle, and I
233
00:16:47.000 --> 00:16:49.679
guess we assumed he didn't drink.
It's a crystal trinket, A crystal trink
234
00:16:49.759 --> 00:16:55.360
I bet he gets hammered. Who
chef, I bet he is a party
235
00:16:55.440 --> 00:16:59.440
animal. No, I don't think
he's a party animal. You don't even
236
00:16:59.480 --> 00:17:02.559
know. Why would you even assume
that. I bet he can drink a
237
00:17:02.600 --> 00:17:07.680
lot then and doesn't get hammered because
of his big figure. That makes sense.
238
00:17:08.759 --> 00:17:12.680
I look, I think this is
awesome, but it's a little odd.
239
00:17:14.720 --> 00:17:18.640
You're gonna be the Bible man.
I would leave this tournament to get
240
00:17:18.640 --> 00:17:23.359
home to my pregnant wife. And
I guess did he go straight to that?
241
00:17:25.400 --> 00:17:29.839
Right? He took a bunch of
pictures with patrons. But okay,
242
00:17:29.839 --> 00:17:33.720
so have you guys ever been Yeah, okay, so that's like the dive
243
00:17:33.799 --> 00:17:37.279
bar of HP. And I dated
a gal for a couple of years that
244
00:17:37.400 --> 00:17:41.079
lived over by there, and if
we ever hung out in her neighborhood,
245
00:17:41.119 --> 00:17:45.359
we would go to the tab and
it's a great spot. Now, I
246
00:17:45.359 --> 00:17:49.079
don't know. Look, if you
live in East Dallas and you get home
247
00:17:49.119 --> 00:17:53.640
from a trip, one of your
favorite burgers might be at the Lakewood Landing,
248
00:17:53.799 --> 00:17:56.920
Well, I'm gonna stop in and
grab a burger and take it home.
249
00:17:56.960 --> 00:18:00.240
It could have been something as innocent
as that were, because this is
250
00:18:00.440 --> 00:18:03.359
a place that he hung out at
in college, knows people there. It's
251
00:18:03.440 --> 00:18:07.480
kind of like a neighborhood, family
type spot. And maybe he just wanted
252
00:18:07.480 --> 00:18:12.119
to go and get some some loaded
uh loaded skins to take home to the
253
00:18:12.119 --> 00:18:18.240
pregnant wife and took a few snapshots
while he was there. But Kevin's insinuating
254
00:18:18.319 --> 00:18:22.400
that he went there and drank fourteen
pictures of natty light. He wore the
255
00:18:22.440 --> 00:18:27.759
green jacket. He was trying to
hang out. Hey, imagine playing tonsil
256
00:18:27.799 --> 00:18:40.720
hockey was from SMU. Let's just
broaden the possibilities tonsil hockey totally. What's
257
00:18:40.759 --> 00:18:42.960
next? You can go home and
play a little pocket pool. Huh,
258
00:18:44.000 --> 00:18:47.720
Scotty Scottie it in would tavern last
night? I would imagine. I think
259
00:18:47.759 --> 00:18:52.960
it's cool. He checked in at
home, I met some friends, quietly
260
00:18:52.000 --> 00:18:56.960
opened the front door. He didn't
hear anything. He just set his golf
261
00:18:57.039 --> 00:19:03.200
bag down. You turn the handle
of the front door and apply equal pressure
262
00:19:03.599 --> 00:19:08.240
as you're pulling, and then you
barely get it, and then turn the
263
00:19:08.519 --> 00:19:15.680
endles like bear bear, and then
the most gentle kiss on the forehead.
264
00:19:18.200 --> 00:19:22.720
He's probably got an electric car,
so it starts real quiet. You need
265
00:19:22.759 --> 00:19:26.920
to rest, and then like a
cartoon character, tiptelling back on the front
266
00:19:26.960 --> 00:19:41.480
door. He's in Scooby Doom,
a ghost the high ghost Walk. Now,
267
00:19:41.680 --> 00:19:48.440
okay, shots. He probably had
a lot of friends, and that
268
00:19:49.559 --> 00:19:52.799
might be his own, you know, no doubt met me and in wood
269
00:19:52.799 --> 00:19:56.960
We're gonna have have a beer.
Yeah, sure, say cheers. And
270
00:19:57.079 --> 00:20:00.799
he probably hangs out there all the
time, secretly and full support for wearing
271
00:20:00.799 --> 00:20:07.000
the green jacket. Is he wearing
the same He's wearing the He's on the
272
00:20:07.039 --> 00:20:10.839
plane and flew home. He on
topped his shirt, but that's the shirt
273
00:20:10.880 --> 00:20:14.720
he was wearing. He didn't even
go home. He went straight to the
274
00:20:14.759 --> 00:20:18.720
tavern, picked up some food and
brought it home to the pregnant wife.
275
00:20:18.759 --> 00:20:21.240
He had to because she's hungry.
He had to make the FaceTime on the
276
00:20:21.240 --> 00:20:25.599
way home. Hey, I'm gonna
stop by the Foret some food where I
277
00:20:25.720 --> 00:20:30.279
haven't sided yet. I'll grab something. Don't worry, I'll call it in.
278
00:20:30.759 --> 00:20:33.960
Somebody texted him that his wife was
there, so which you know,
279
00:20:33.039 --> 00:20:37.680
the tavern? I don't know,
No fun, o't know if you got
280
00:20:37.720 --> 00:20:41.799
about fifteen days to pop a baby
out, if you need to be hanging
281
00:20:41.839 --> 00:20:45.599
out at the Inwood tavern, Kevin, when you can can do things like
282
00:20:45.720 --> 00:20:51.640
normal people. And Wood said his
wife was there with him. Buddy works
283
00:20:51.640 --> 00:20:55.000
at Inwood. Wife was there?
She was there? All right. Well
284
00:20:55.000 --> 00:21:00.319
that's a quick and well confirmed scott
he's nice guy, really boring. Then,
285
00:21:00.960 --> 00:21:06.000
God, I was hoping there was
some action there, give us something.
286
00:21:06.119 --> 00:21:11.440
Scottie took his wife to the bar. Takes me perfect, he took
287
00:21:11.480 --> 00:21:15.799
his pregnant wife to the bar and
they had some Natcho's eight and three quarter
288
00:21:15.799 --> 00:21:18.400
a month pregnant wife. Why is
he so perfect? He's so perfect?
289
00:21:18.839 --> 00:21:23.200
Can we not get him on?
Kevin? Not today? Not today?
290
00:21:23.319 --> 00:21:29.160
Have you tried? We gotta go? Two and four eight seven seven one
291
00:21:30.720 --> 00:21:33.319
Contribute. It's a mystery to you. If you contribute to the next segment,
292
00:21:33.319 --> 00:21:37.680
you'll have a chance to win tickets
to see Yes and Deep Purple the
293
00:21:37.720 --> 00:21:45.279
pole dances next. Some new poles
have hit with some big news. So confused,
