Two supernatural pilots entered The Bubble—and neither one exactly cast a spell.
This week, Bianca and Wyetha attempt their first double pilot review with full-spoiler discussions of CBS’s Eternally Yours and Freeform’s Coven Academy.
Eternally Yours gave us bland comedy, complicated vampire family dynamics, and one genuinely surprising ending. Bianca landed on Meh, while Wyetha gave it a Nay. Coven Academy made one thing very clear: we are not its target audience. That one earned a firm Nay from both of us.
We’re talking vampire rules, rushed world-building, characters we struggled to care about, and why Eternally Yours earned slightly more patience—emphasis on slightly.
Before the reviews, we discuss NBC changing Newlyweds showrunners shortly before its premiere and Kelsey Grammer’s potential return to NBC in the EMT drama Pops.
Next week: Line of Fire faces its official three-episode trial and the first Bubble Scorecard of Season 3.
