00:00:00
Speaker 1: What's happened? Everybody?
00:00:01
Speaker 2: Welcome into a Monday edition of Texas All Access from the Hyundai Texans Radio studio. John Harrison, Mark Vandermir. I won't say fresh off the field. It's now been a few hours since we've been off the field, a sweltering Monday lunchtime ish time off the field. But man, one another great day at training camp practice. We will break all that down for you a little later. We will go through a defensive line position. We did a defensive line breakdown this morning, so we'll have that for you. And then there's plenty of news going around the league, including in Green Bay where the love isn't quite there for love just yet. You'll find out what I'm talking about. But Mark, it was day four at training camp. A couple of things. Number one, no rain, hot use of those things, no pads, but all that changes on Tuesday. Fans, pads, juice, energy, can't wait.
00:00:59
Speaker 1: But we still got to get through Monday's practice. What'd you think?
00:01:02
Speaker 3: Yeah?
00:01:02
Speaker 4: For those listening saying, well, wait a minute, it rained like dogs and cats today and other animals as well.
00:01:08
Speaker 3: Yeah later, yeah later. Yeah, it was a typical Houston.
00:01:11
Speaker 4: You never know what to expect kind of day, although in the summer, usually, Johnny, we wouldn't get this kind of stuff, but it happened this morning. Not a cloud in the sky, all right, and then you get a few clouds, which was nice during summer practice, but it was it was a cooker.
00:01:26
Speaker 3: Today at Texans training Camp, day four.
00:01:28
Speaker 4: And then when we got inside it was raining sideways for a while.
00:01:33
Speaker 3: It was crazy. So there was a lot of that kind of stuff going on.
00:01:36
Speaker 4: But anyway, I thought, and look, I have not read full disclosure. I have not read Harris Hips yet, but I'm betting, but I know you will.
00:01:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, and I will. I always do.
00:01:46
Speaker 4: I'm betting that you mentioned something about the defense having quite a day. Defense had a day, and defense they were getting after a big and I'm going to give you some.
00:01:55
Speaker 3: Off the record type stuff you ready for?
00:01:57
Speaker 1: Oh wow?
00:01:58
Speaker 4: So I was walking in with some defensive players and I said something about, well, you guys had a day today, you know, gee gollye g wiz. You know, just trying trying to fit in, Johnny best I can.
00:02:10
Speaker 1: Now.
00:02:11
Speaker 3: These guys are.
00:02:11
Speaker 4: Wonderful people, and they were talking amongst themselves, but they knew I was there, and they were like, oh, it's coming tomorrow though in pads play action, you know, the CJ. Stroud Show will be in full display in front of the fans, so we'll see. It'll be a nice battle. It's great that they have this competition. You know, we talk about it, the iron sharpens eye and everybody, I don't want to say everybody gets tired of it. I hope you don't get tired of it because it makes your team better. And it's odd day to day who wins the day. I don't know how they privately keep this quantitatively, but you know they do.
00:02:52
Speaker 3: You know they do.
00:02:53
Speaker 4: We got you today, you get us tomorrow, you get us in the next day. Whatever the situation is. There's a great competition going on.
00:02:59
Speaker 2: It's fantastic competition going on. And Bobby Slowick was up the sideline kind of in my my path of watching practice, and I just got my eye assume as the offense was struggling a little bit, and I could just see I could just you get to where you've been around the guys enough that you just all you have to do is get a look see and go, oh, yeah he's not happy. Yeah, I mean you you just know Okay, he's not real happy with what's been going on. But again, you're talking about a defense that has got Daniel Hunter, He's got Will Anderson in the back end. It's got Derek Stingley, junior rookie Kamari last yer. I thought it was pretty interesting with Stefan Diggs had to stay about about Kamari. He said he might be ready. He could be ready right now. He isn't scared. I mean, I just thought, what what Stefan Diggs had to stay about Kamari last year is maybe telling you something about.
00:03:51
Speaker 1: The entire defense.
00:03:52
Speaker 3: He made a play downfield.
00:03:53
Speaker 1: I'm sorry, Yeah, yeah, go ahead.
00:03:55
Speaker 4: He made a play downfield where I was talking to Seth about it from the sideline and we were trying to decide, Wait, was that a PBu or you know, past break up pass defense or was it a ball that wasn't thrown in the right spot.
00:04:09
Speaker 3: I think the ball was thrown in the right spot.
00:04:11
Speaker 4: I think he just kind of jammed Stefan Diggs, but it was right in front of the official.
00:04:16
Speaker 3: Yeah, and no flag. They're throwing flags here.
00:04:19
Speaker 4: They have no shyness about throwing the penalty markers and they're here every day. And that's a great thing for this team because there's no debate would that have been a flag or not. Now, I know some officials might not throw it in a real situation or whatever, but they're throwing flags.
00:04:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, so that's going to help you get better as well.
00:04:34
Speaker 4: I can't do that, or I can get away with this maybe or whatever.
00:04:37
Speaker 3: But last and it remained a nice play.
00:04:39
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:04:39
Speaker 2: In fact, I put that into Harris Hits because in that very same play it was kind of cool because I could see the rush and then I was able to get my eyes because the ball was in front of me. So I was actually able to see two different things. And it happened on back to back plays. And Danil Hunter is a is a real one, my god. So the first play of the team period, he was out at the right defensive end spot. It so happened that today Daniel was in my on our on our sideline most of the time Will was, and Will was on the other side. So I just that's why I talked about Daniel Hunter as much as I did. But Danil on the first rep starts and it looks like he's gonna go right through the tackle and then all of a sudden and he just zips inside like it's nothing, and I'm like, whoa. Then the next play after he's done that, now he did that so quickly the ball would have not gotten off, but CJ was throwing the ball the other way, so Danil pulled up, strapped through its completion.
00:05:41
Speaker 1: Easy completion.
00:05:42
Speaker 2: But had that been a real game, I think Danille at least gets I mean, that's that's one of those strips sacked scoop and score pick, you know, picked scoop and score for six kind of thing. The very next play after winning inside, now Danielle starts like he's going inside and then he drops that that Van Miller ghost move where you just drop that shoulder, you just disappear, pop right back up and was right there again for Strout. It was on that that second rep that CJ ended up throwing it down the digs and Kamari Lasser was in great position.
00:06:15
Speaker 1: The ball fell in complete.
00:06:17
Speaker 2: But watching daniel Hunter work his moves and just work his Daneil Hunter.
00:06:21
Speaker 1: Nos was it was so cool because he's so good. It is.
00:06:26
Speaker 2: It's making Blake Fisher have to work his butt off over at left tackle because Laramie is ramping his self up, himself up to get ready and get back on the field.
00:06:35
Speaker 1: But he's not there yet.
00:06:36
Speaker 2: So Blake Fisher has been taking a lot of those reps to left tackle, so he seeing the best in football.
00:06:40
Speaker 1: This guy is an absolute terror rushing the quarterback.
00:06:43
Speaker 4: Well, we got to get those five fingers in the glove, the five offensive linemen out there at some point and get them acclimated to each other, get them playing like a great unit, because you're right, the D line is blowing some stuff up. Obviously, Will Anderson. I'll give you another one who I know you noticed today. Again, I didn't Harris hits yet, but Deniko Autry is what did Nick Cassario call him a bad mferm?
00:07:05
Speaker 3: Yeah? He is, man. He is a tough customer.
00:07:09
Speaker 2: There was a batted ball and he dove for it like the super Bowl was on the line.
00:07:16
Speaker 3: I'm thinking, whoa this is?
00:07:18
Speaker 4: We have seven weeks to go, man, But he's got that intensity and you know, Dimiko's gotta love this. And you mentioned Slowik over there calling plays and seeing his body language when something doesn't work.
00:07:30
Speaker 1: He's he's not.
00:07:31
Speaker 3: Totally Spock like.
00:07:33
Speaker 4: He's good at getting the emotion out of it because he knows it's all about the next play. But you could tell the defense did make some plays today and the offense will have their days too. I'm not worried about this. I think it's awesome. I think it's great. Turn it up on defense, make this offense as good as they can possibly be now in pads tomorrow, that online D line battle is going to be even more interesting and you're gonna learn much more about the D line what they're doing. If Demico throws blitzes at them. But he wants full intensity, he wants to full throttle on the defensive side.
00:08:07
Speaker 1: Absolutely, there's no question.
00:08:08
Speaker 2: And some of the defensive linemen I mentioned to Neil Hunter, I did watch Will for one.
00:08:14
Speaker 1: There's always a.
00:08:14
Speaker 2: Way that Will gets my attention, even if he's on the opposite side. If I can see kind of through the opposite side and I could see him kind of twitching and he does that, he gets in that four point stance and he starts twitching and I'm like, okay, and so he needs to tell he burst off the football and it looked like he was just gonna go speed to power, just you know, bull rush. And also at the last second as he goes to he gets to tackle like it's gonna be a bull rush, and then he just slid inside like it was easy, just kind of arm over and just right to the quarterback. I think CJ was in at that point, and I mean, it's CJ. Can't get really get the ball off. He's in there so quick, and I'm like, man, But a couple of guys that really stood out to me were on the interior McTelvin Agene.
00:09:02
Speaker 4: Okay, Seth mentioned him too. Yeah, he had he had one or two really good rushes.
00:09:07
Speaker 2: Yes, a couple of really good rushes batted down a pass, But it's how quick he does things. I mentioned him a couple of days ago because and I think we talked about this on radio today when were breaking down to d line and I'll you'll have this audio. But he ran down Jir Jordan caught a swing pass out on the left side, and so Jordan is running up the left side and everybody kind of got sucked into everything going the other way.
00:09:30
Speaker 1: So it really wasn't a whole lot of people there.
00:09:31
Speaker 2: There's one guy coming over, maybe a linebacker, and a linebacker madejuar slow down a little bit. But so so is just flying thirty five yards down a field on a full sprint and just you know you're tackling buddy, but you tag off the hip. He tags off on Juwar Jordan thirty five yards down a field. I thought, okay, you got my attention now. Now I've always had my attention on him. I always started Arkansas. He I've always started a really good player. Just he was kind of underrated and he's undersized, but I think he's added weight.
00:09:58
Speaker 1: He's up in the two ninety range now. He was so quick.
00:10:02
Speaker 2: There were There's one time when I have my eyes on him, guard tried to quick set him, which essentially is you know guards, you know pass protection when you kind of give ground right well, sometimes what guards like to do in particular is stunt the rush and so they quick set. So they just popped. They popped the defensive lineman like right away. And Quentin Nelson can do this really well, it's Quentin Nelson. I mean he does it. You like, you get jarred and you get slowed down, so you really want to slow down into your defensive lineman. You use that quick set. So this guard who I can't remember who was guard, tried to quick set Sosa mctevin agen and he just just threw hands one hand there, one hand underneath, and he was gone. And it was like, WHOA, that's wow. And those are the guys that we're gonna have our eyes on the preseason.
00:10:48
Speaker 1: Yep. AND's those kind of guys.
00:10:50
Speaker 4: You won't automatically pencil him in onto the fifty three, there's no way. So he's gonna have to really show out and then maybe hope for injuries or whatever else or beat some people out. But that that is definitely somebody worth watching. I'll give you another one. And I know you noticed this today, Jacob Phillips not going down today, and I thought, all right, I haven't seen every stitch of video there is on him in this camp.
00:11:12
Speaker 3: But that is a guy that we've talked about in the offseason.
00:11:15
Speaker 4: If you want a role model, or at least in our eyes, a model to follow, would be Blake Cashman, a player who had a lot of injuries injury issues, comes here stays healthy. Finally, for the most part, he still wasn't completely one hundred percent healthy last year, but healthy enough where he got the contract with Minnesota, where he's from and for Phillips, he's looking for something similar there. He's looking to stay healthy, make a lot of plays. Who knows what happens with injuries at linebacker, But physically he looks really good, Johnny. He looks like an incredible athlete. You know, he was at LSU Cleveland Browns and now he's trying to.
00:11:48
Speaker 3: Do it here.
00:11:48
Speaker 4: But he had a player too today that was eye popping and we'll see how it goes with him.
00:11:53
Speaker 2: Absolutely the one other player defensively just happened to be a deal.
00:11:56
Speaker 1: I'man it's the same guy we saw last year. I think he's just getting better and better. That's Khalil Davis.
00:12:03
Speaker 2: Khalil ran down a screen from behind away from us. He was on that side, but he started his rush red screen and he's tagging off on the running back maybe one yard deep, maybe at the line of scrimmage, but I mean that play doesn't go anywhere because it's getting held up and we've got We used to say this for my first ten lessure is my tenth year. First nine years, we ran screens, no offense. We stunk like every time we ran a screen, couldn't get it to go. Like during a break you, me and Dre would yell each other, like why we run a screens. We've gotten much much better running screens, much much better. But this one Khalil Davis blew up and then there was a toss away from him, a toss run play away from him. He got through the backfield in a snap and ran it thing down from behind to a point where by the time he got to the running back, he literally had to pull up almost a stop, like throwing the flintstone brakes.
00:13:02
Speaker 1: The flintstones always there.
00:13:03
Speaker 2: He almost had to stop like that so he didn't just completely decapitate the running back.
00:13:08
Speaker 1: He he even looks better than he was last year.
00:13:12
Speaker 4: Who chased down Stover today when he was running one out into the end zone. It was about a seventy yard run and I don't know if he would have been caught or not earlier, but he was finishing out the run and somebody went all the way downfield with him, a big guy.
00:13:24
Speaker 3: I can't remember who it was.
00:13:26
Speaker 2: It might have been. It might have been fifty eight, It might have been so Soid. It might have been Mtown, might have been. He's done that a few times. He can he can really run I'll give you another guy in the secondary that he's hard to miss. First of all, because he's taller than everybody else. He's also lankier than everybody else. He had his hands on a pick today and that's Kaylen Bullet couldn't come down with it, and I mean he hits him right in hands, got it and you gotta have it. But I'll say this mark from a you think about all the things that go into an interception.
00:13:57
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, number one reading the quarterbacks eyes.
00:13:59
Speaker 3: Are you saying every interception as a story?
00:14:01
Speaker 2: Yes, I'm I'm kind of saying that in a sense, I'm kind of saying that. But he makes a great read, a great break on the ball, Transitional quickness, you know, the ability to to move yourself forward is it's top notch.
00:14:18
Speaker 1: He just dropped the ball.
00:14:19
Speaker 2: And they've been a couple of those where the defense is just they've had in their hands. If I got one, Jeff Okudoff a tip pass at the end was kind.
00:14:25
Speaker 1: Of that was a good one.
00:14:26
Speaker 2: Mike Ford got in that. Mike Ford was right there. He and know browning up for it. Ball popped up. Bike Ford self described playmaker. But I love him, I love I love Mike, but Cale, I just don't know. I don't know how it how he gets on the field with what's.
00:14:46
Speaker 1: In front of him.
00:14:49
Speaker 2: But I'm getting to a point where I've seen enough from Kaylen Bullock the last few days to go there's something here. This cat needs to be on the field. We need to get him on that to develop him. He's got to play, He's got to be on the field. We've gotten that point with Kamara Lassiter. I think what we saw in OTA's in mini camp has carried over to the first week of training camp and look with the pads on, but everything that you see out of Kamara Lassiter makes you feel like, even when the pads go on, he's still gonna be hip to hip with Stefan Diggs. He's still gonna be competitive wherever the ball is on the field. Kaylen Bullock has been around the football, has made some really explosive breaks.
00:15:28
Speaker 1: He's as athletic as it gets at that safety position.
00:15:30
Speaker 2: Now again, for him, it's also when the pads go on, because his tackling was not good last year, so that obviously is something that needs work. But there's got to be a way you get him on the field. Because he has been around the football for the last four days for sure.
00:15:45
Speaker 4: Who are the biggest safeties the Texans have had?
00:15:48
Speaker 2: Oh, that's a big question. Red ed Reid was pretty good size. Justin Reed, Oh, Justin Reed. Justin was six one six two two ten.
00:15:58
Speaker 4: He's good seast six one here, I pulled it up. But Bo is bigger than that.
00:16:03
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:16:03
Speaker 2: Glover, No, Glover was shorter. Yeah. Oh, I had to my tongue. Quentin the guy. No, Uh, Pollard? What was Bernard Pollard?
00:16:16
Speaker 3: Bernard Pollard.
00:16:17
Speaker 2: I don't think he was six two six ' three, but he was a good solid two fifteen.
00:16:23
Speaker 3: Yeah he was.
00:16:24
Speaker 4: Uh, they don't have his height here?
00:16:26
Speaker 3: Come on, how do you not have his height here? I'm pulling it up right now.
00:16:29
Speaker 4: Bernard Pollard two thousand and nine Texans contributor, six' one twenty five.
00:16:35
Speaker 2: Yeah, he was sick. That's thick. Yeah, that's that's good size. That's good size. Okay, here's a question for you. Yeah, who's the best safety in Texans history?
00:16:46
Speaker 4: Okay, this is a position group where they haven't exactly shined in a Pro Bowl sense.
00:16:55
Speaker 3: All right, let's just be honest here.
00:16:57
Speaker 4: There have been some good contributors like Clover, Daniel Manning, Ed Reid did nothing. Manning did a lot, I did a lot. But again, you're not dealing with multiple Pro Bowls here. With Daniel Manning, as much as I love him and love the contribution he made, and Justin Reied, you got to throw him in the mix as well, you know. I mean I love my early safeties too. I'm not forgetting about you. Eric Brown. Did Marcus Coleman shift over to shift over safety corner?
00:17:20
Speaker 1: I think Marcus would be up there.
00:17:22
Speaker 2: I mean, if you were to say, Okay, give me the top three safeties in Texas history, I think Marcus would probably have to go up there. Yeah, I would imagine after that. I mean Justin Reid I think reads one of them.
00:17:34
Speaker 1: I think he's Yeah, I think you would have to be.
00:17:37
Speaker 4: There have been single season outstanding performances like a Pollard, Manning's, Quindemp's Coundemp Demp's single season. Yeah, absolutely, sixteen years incredible, absolutely great contribution there. But again, yeah, you're not looking at sustained excellence over a number of years with too many of these guys.
00:17:54
Speaker 2: Kind of odd for what do we now We're we're able to drink as a franchise. We're over twenty one years old, but happen to have a position that just hasn't had Tyron Matthew was here yet, Tyres Ye, Tyro's here for a year. I wish held staying longer. I love ty Yeah, but Reid. I think Reid is certainly one of them. And remember Reid winning season eighteen, winning season nineteen twenty nine, So all right, well that was it you got too. But he's now got two rings with the Kansas City Chiefs, and I don't look forward to playing him. He's he has played exceptional football with the with Kansas City Chiefs, and I'm happy for him. He was always a good guy, regardless of the whole suspension for a game or whatever.
00:18:34
Speaker 1: He was always a great.
00:18:34
Speaker 4: Petrie had a hell of a rookie year, and obviously the team wasn't good, but he had five picks looking good. Last year didn't go quite as well in that department, but I think Petree year three could be really interesting. And then you have Jimmy Ward last year had a really good season. When he was out there was always healthy for you. So yeah, it's been a position group that has not been incredibly fruitful. I mean, we just named a bunch of guys, but you're only with twenty two years of history.
00:19:01
Speaker 1: You know who would have been that guy?
00:19:03
Speaker 2: And I still I think they always wanted to get him over there.
00:19:08
Speaker 4: By the way, Eric Brown's gonna be pissed if I don't mention him. No, he wouldn't, He's not that kind of guy. But I am upset with myself because I love Eric too, and he was part of a pretty decent defense in the.
00:19:17
Speaker 2: Absolutely, I think a guy that they every year, it felt like they kept trying to move him over there and then injured at corner that kept kare corner.
00:19:25
Speaker 1: Kareem Jackson. Kareem Jackson would have been that safety.
00:19:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, he would have.
00:19:28
Speaker 1: I think he would have been that safety.
00:19:29
Speaker 2: He was fearless, He obviously had cornerback cover skills, so he would have been able to do.
00:19:34
Speaker 4: If Kevin Johnson stays totally healthy, you got he and J Joe on the outside, and Kareem moves to safety earlier and you're able to reap the benefits of that.
00:19:42
Speaker 3: Maybe he's still here.
00:19:43
Speaker 2: Man at twenty sixteen defense, imagine the twenty sixteen defense was good.
00:19:47
Speaker 1: Was number one in the league.
00:19:49
Speaker 2: But if Kevin stays healthy that year he was the beginning of that year, he was on one.
00:19:54
Speaker 1: He was he was top.
00:19:55
Speaker 2: He locked up Colts receivers, and then you can put Kareem at safety. That defense would have been even even better. You and I could have quarterbacked that team. I think about that.
00:20:05
Speaker 4: I was thinking about that the other day in fifteen when they had those two blowouts, yet they finished third in the league.
00:20:10
Speaker 1: They're that good.
00:20:11
Speaker 4: They have the two monster blowouts with the second half doesn't even matter. Oh, they suffer the hands of that, and then they end up third in the league because they win games ten to six, sixteen to ten. It was ridiculous. Those are ridiculously low scores.
00:20:27
Speaker 1: So we also had transaction.
00:20:29
Speaker 2: We talked about one official I think during our Texas training Camp live show.
00:20:33
Speaker 1: The Texans did indeed sign cam Acres.
00:20:36
Speaker 2: They waved injured Jared Wayne, which I always hate to see guys waved injured.
00:20:40
Speaker 1: It's unfortunate.
00:20:41
Speaker 2: But I had mentioned that I had first seen cam Acres when he was a quarterback at Clinton High School in Mississippi, and I remembered seeing highlights or like a condensed version of the statechampionship game that he played in twenty sixteen. And so I'm I'm in my office watching this and I'm like, oh my god, But I didn't remember the exact numbers.
00:21:09
Speaker 1: I knew he was incredible that day.
00:21:11
Speaker 2: His Clinton team wins the state championship forty nine to thirty five. So you can do the math on forty nine right, seven touchdowns? Well, cam Akers accounted for every single one of them in that game. He ran the ball thirty times for two hundred and seventeen yards and five touchdowns. He had a long of sixty five. He had a sixty five yard touchdown run. He then played quarterback, Yeah, he was playing quarterback for him. He threw it twenty five times, completed sixteen for two hundred and twenty eight yards and two touchdowns. So seven touchdowns in the game, seven touchdowns he accounted for in the game. Four hundred and forty five yards throwing and rushing in the championship game.
00:21:55
Speaker 4: For his career in high school, cam Akers throwing the football here, he's only forty seven percent clip, but yeah, he ends up at fifty seven. He throws for seventy eight touchdowns and he rushes for seventy one, one hundred and forty nine touchdowns scored in high school.
00:22:14
Speaker 3: That's incredible, Holy cow. And now he's here.
00:22:17
Speaker 4: He's got a lot of mileage, as you can tell, a lot of mileage under that hood.
00:22:22
Speaker 3: But we'll see if he could stay healthy. Do something here.
00:22:24
Speaker 2: He's walking off the field and just I always do that with your new players guys I've seen.
00:22:29
Speaker 1: I've always known he's thick, but he's.
00:22:31
Speaker 2: Got really long arms, but strong little bow leg and I can't wait to see him. He's had one run in practice that just tossed him outside run. He got to the line of scrimmage so fast. I'm like, oh my god, Like the blocks couldn't even set up. So that was a good sign because like he's got some juice. He still got his juice. And now you worry about with the guy that's had coming off an achilles tendon tear.
00:22:53
Speaker 1: But just remember seeing him in high school, like this guy might be the best high school after that I've ever seen. This is unbelievable.
00:23:00
Speaker 2: I was watching that and I always hope he would become a Texan, and now he is. He is now a Texan. Along with the group of defensive linemen. A bunch of Texans defensive lineman. Mark and I broke down the defensive line position for the Texans. You won't want to miss it. Every single guy we just talked about. We'll go in further on next right here on Texans All Access. Welcome back, everybody, Monday edition to Texans All Access. Coming at you from the day Texans Radio Studio. I am John Harris, Football and South. I'm reporter for your Houston Texans and each and every morning on Texans Training Camp Live yours truly breaks down a particular position and obviously Mark just lobs the fastballs in there and then I try and knock him out of the park. So for today, one of the more fun groups to break down, Mark, which one did we do?
00:23:49
Speaker 3: The defensive line?
00:23:50
Speaker 4: Johnny, We've got a lot of guys. I'm gonna go in no particular order here. I'm saving some of the best for a last Let's start here. Because Tim Settle came to us from the Little Bills. You and I caught up with him. Really enjoyed the visit out of Virginia Tech. He's been in the league for a while, He's done some things.
00:24:06
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a rotational piece up in Buffalo, but massively built, broad shoulder three hundred and fifteen, three hundred and twenty pounds, moves very well. Thick leverage guy. I think he can end up being a guy inside that now he's given the opportunity maybe to start, maybe never know. I think he's gonna be a rotation of guys in that interior. But I love athletic size, and I think that's what Tim Settle has.
00:24:29
Speaker 1: I remember watching them at Virginia Tech. A little shorter, a little.
00:24:32
Speaker 2: Bit more compact than some defensive tackles, and so he can win those leverage battles. He's gonna be really interesting to watch. I think you can play over the nose. I think you can play out to the three technique. I think you can play either. But I think they'll probably play him over the nose a little bit more than you would with some other guys.
00:24:48
Speaker 1: But he's gonna be bigger than you were on the nose last year.
00:24:50
Speaker 2: You know when you started Malik and Sheldon last year, neither one of them at the end of the year. I guarantee you is three hundred pounds, I promise you. And now you're playing one of those guys over the nose and cells some feet he can move, so I think he's gonna be a really good fit in this defense with that size.
00:25:03
Speaker 4: Staying with some of the bigger guys here Khalil Davis, who we've talked about a ton. All he does is make plays. Three hundred and fifteen pounds is his listed weight. Six to third year out of Nebraska, and again a guy who flashes for sure.
00:25:18
Speaker 1: No doubt.
00:25:18
Speaker 2: We saw him last year first day he came in for training camp Daron Pads. He had just finished playing with the the XFL champions or USFL champions Birmingham Stallions, so he had not been too far removed from playing, so he didn't have too much rush to shake off. And it showed quick, strong, smart, learned how to use his hands last year. It's one of the things in talking to him that he was his defensive line coach Is harped on last year using his hands properly getting off and his get off is great.
00:25:44
Speaker 1: He's quick, he's thick.
00:25:46
Speaker 2: He is the perfect fit for this defense and getting up field, and he just consistently made big plays last year. You watch a game from last year from week three on and you just see him make a big play, a sack here, a TfL there, there was I can't remember what came. I was watching the other day and he burst into the back I think it's a Tampa Bay game. He burst into the backfield and made a TfL and Rashad White and thought, man, he just made big plays last year all year, and hopefully you do it again this year.
00:26:13
Speaker 3: All right.
00:26:13
Speaker 4: Another big guy, six ' four out of Yukon and Queens Floranzo fought Akassi.
00:26:19
Speaker 3: He's kind of got a little bit of a New York accent. Three eighteen his listed weight.
00:26:24
Speaker 2: Yeah, that sounds big, and you see him and he is big, but then you watch him and you're like, please quick.
00:26:28
Speaker 1: His feet are really really good.
00:26:29
Speaker 2: That stood out to me when I was watching him with Jacksonville last year, and I think that's what makes him really really difficult on the inside.
00:26:37
Speaker 1: Saw him on a play and team I think.
00:26:40
Speaker 2: It was either a Saturday practice or Friday practice, and he literally they are on pads, but they were trying to scoop him. Basically, what that means is he's had a three techniques on the outside part of a lineman and a limeo was trying to get any outside of him, and thought Tukasi just kind of snatched him up and kind of held him off with one arm and then ended up tackling the running back with his other arm. I thought, that's nice. I wish you know I could do that. But he's the type of guy that's gonna be able to do those things. He reminds you, especially when number nine one, it reminds you of Hassan Ridgeway. Well, Ridgeway couldn't stay healthy last year. Hopefully Folly can stay healthy because I think he gives you what Ridgeway was gonna give you.
00:27:16
Speaker 1: Plus more. So I'd love the fought Tacosi pick up. I'm glad he's with us. It's a plus plus. It's a plus because he's here. It's a plus because he left Jacksonville.
00:27:24
Speaker 4: And it's a plus because I get to say Florunzo out of the air.
00:27:26
Speaker 1: Kurks he is.
00:27:28
Speaker 3: He's always been a plus. Third year, No tre Dame.
00:27:31
Speaker 1: Maybe one of the most improved players over the last three years.
00:27:34
Speaker 2: He was our player of the Game against the Ravens in the playoff game, and he was really good in that game.
00:27:38
Speaker 1: Now, his numbers are never gonna wow you.
00:27:40
Speaker 2: He's not gonna end up with ten sacks any one year, But just watch him the first day, just watching him do things he had done the first two years and seeing how quick and how explosive he was doing them spin moves, you know, just his feet and his footwork. He's worked on even more. He's not three hundred fifteen pounds. He's maybe three hundred three oh five if he's lucky, but he's built lower the ground. He's a little shorter than some of the defensive tackles, so he gets off blocks really well. He's tough when he gets penetrating upfield. I think Kurt Heynis is one of the more underrated players on his team.
00:28:13
Speaker 4: Wow McTelvin Agim out of Arkansas so s I think he's as athletic as they get up front. He ran down Jair Jordan the other day in practice.
00:28:23
Speaker 1: I was floored.
00:28:25
Speaker 2: Juarr Jordan caught a swing pass over on my sideline and Sos was a I think he was the defensive lineman on this side. And Jordan turns up the field and there was there's the linebacker there, so he kind of hesitated for that. I see fifty eight just lying down the field, thirty yards down the field, tagging off on him. He's an athletic dude, just really has not had a chance to kind of establish himself any one place. To me, he's one of the guys to watch these preseason games. Mark go ahead.
00:28:51
Speaker 4: Marcus Harris out of Auburn, rookie undrafted, another big guy, sixty three, almost three hundred pounds.
00:28:57
Speaker 2: He's he's not sixty three. I wish he if he were six to three, he probably three hundred pounds. He would have never gotten too the Texans and he's listed.
00:29:04
Speaker 1: He's listed. He really is about six.
00:29:07
Speaker 2: One and a half to eighty two, which I think is what he was at the Senior Bowl.
00:29:11
Speaker 1: But he's thick, and more importantly, he is quick. He can get upfield in a hardbeat.
00:29:16
Speaker 2: I watched the game against Georgia last year and he really gave some really good Georgia Linemans some problems because he got off the snap quickly. And he's strong, like if you see his guns, his guns are the size of our legs. So he's pretty thick. Even though he's quote unquote undersized. He's undersized or thought to be because he's only two hundred and eighty two pounds, but he really can get upfield.
00:29:36
Speaker 1: He is a fit.
00:29:37
Speaker 2: I'm really curious to see when they get the pads on how tough it is to block that guy, because without pads, that offensive line has really touched him at times.
00:29:45
Speaker 1: So I think Marcus Harris has got to definitely watch for sure.
00:29:47
Speaker 4: All right, let's get to the ends here, because this team has two veterans going into their fifteenth season. One of them, John Weeks's right in front of us, and another one, Jerry Hughes, added to the roster right before camp.
00:29:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, Jerry, he has been fun to watch. And you think a guy's in his fifteenth year. He didn't work out OTA's mini camp. He's gonna have some rush right. Well, the first teams really threw him into He threw that ghost move where it looks like a rip move, but he just drops like a ghost. He just disappears, and he went right around a tackle. And he didn't have his name on the back of his jersey, and so I didn't know who number fifty two was.
00:30:20
Speaker 1: I'm like, man, who is that?
00:30:21
Speaker 2: Oh, you realize it's Jerry Hughes, and you think, man, he's doing that again, maximizing Jerry Hughes impact fifteen to twenty snaps a game, no more than that, and making sure those are past rush reps. You throw a Jerry in a pass rush mix with all the other guys that we're gonna talk about.
00:30:37
Speaker 4: Holy smokes, this'll be fun to watch, all right. Two draft choices from USC on this squad.
00:30:42
Speaker 3: One of them Solomon Byrd and.
00:30:45
Speaker 2: Very skilled rushing the passer. I mean, he's got a lot of pass rush moves. He definitely has learned that he's not a twitchy. The numbers, you know, his combine numbers weren't great at all. But he'll play hard, he'll play physical. He's got to set the edge against the run a little bit better than he did USC. But he's got some pass rush ability, there's no question. I think that's one of the reasons that they ended up getting him. And here's the other thing about Solomon Byrd. There are some special teams that you can put him on. You might be able to sneak him into some special teams, maybe punt team and maybe kickoff team.
00:31:14
Speaker 1: Some of those things.
00:31:15
Speaker 2: He doesn't have to especially kickoff team, because he doesn't have to cover forty yards. But he's a pretty thick guy, and I've seen them use him on some special team, so I'm curious again. The more you can do, and as a seventh round rookie man, the more you can do fits perfectly.
00:31:27
Speaker 4: All Right, two more longish shots before we get to the names you know on the d line. Malik Fisher defensive end from Billanova, undrafted free age.
00:31:35
Speaker 2: Yeah it was in the UFL. Had a really good year in the UFL. Reminds me a little bit of Jacob Martin. He's got, you know, some light. Now, Jacob didn't have all that length. Jacob was really a stute pass rusher because he studied it. He looked at it more science than art, but he really was good at that. Malik's kind of that way. He's got a little bit longer frame. I think Jacob was probably a little bit better pass rusher. But Fisher, I think at seven to eight sacks in UFL. So give him an opportunity and see what he can do when he's one on one's come up.
00:32:01
Speaker 1: That's gonna be really fun to watch him.
00:32:02
Speaker 2: Ali gay a guy's been here for a couple of years now, and now it's time.
00:32:06
Speaker 1: To show what he can do from the edge.
00:32:09
Speaker 2: He's healthy now, he wasn't in OTAs, so he's got to really prove that he's got a little bit more in a pass rush game than he had last year.
00:32:16
Speaker 3: And Mario Edwards ninth year, ninth year out of Florida State.
00:32:19
Speaker 2: Man, I love what Mario Edwards gives them. He was inside the other day. I'm not inside the building inside as a defensive tackle. They tried to run at him. Forget it. He just soaked that thing right up. He can rush from the outside. I think he's probably put on more weight than his listed weight. What's his listed weight, like too eighty five something like that. I think he's I think he's bigger than that. So I think they might try and use him on the inside a little bit more. And I think that's gonna be fun to watch him when he's inside because he's so quick, but he's still strong and when you see him, you think he can withstand the interior. And I think that's what they might try to do with him, cause he's a little bigger twound eighty.
00:32:52
Speaker 4: Okay, here we go, defensive ends continue, Denico Autrey, What are we gonna get from him?
00:32:58
Speaker 2: I was just watching that oilers that Titans game from last year, and they put.
00:33:03
Speaker 3: The name up there all over the stadium.
00:33:05
Speaker 1: I feel bad for Juice.
00:33:07
Speaker 2: So it was only like his third or fourth game of the year and he's got to face Denico Autry in a pass rush. Deniko just gives him double swipe and goes by him, gets a sack of case. I mean, you know, Deneko Audry just kill us for years, I mean just absolutely killed us for years. He killed us, and now he's on our side and seeing him into Texas Jersey is still kind of odd. But again, like Mario Edwards, now, I think unlike Mario Edwards, I think Autrey is probably gonna be more served being outside on every down other than pass rush downs, and then he can go inside like he did and that play is described against Jews. I think you could put him pretty much pretty much anywhere. So that's why I love about Denko left right, inside, outside. He can play any of those four rush spots, can rush against anybody, and I think he's the kind of guy that you might look for the advantage. Hey, Deniko, I think you can beat this guard from the New York Giants.
00:33:56
Speaker 1: Let's move you inside.
00:33:57
Speaker 2: Let's move Will outside or keep Will outside and we can work with that.
00:34:01
Speaker 4: There's another category that we don't discuss much. Where would we be without? Category? Because I'm gonna actually attribute this to Bill O'Brien, who once upon a time said where would we be without TJ.
00:34:12
Speaker 1: Yeats?
00:34:13
Speaker 4: He said that in twenty fifteen when Yeats rejoined the team won a couple of big games for them, most notably the Cincinnati Monday Night game. Well, we could have said this last year, where would we be without Derek Bartnett, who they acquired relatively lately in the season, did some great things, especially with Will and Grenard all banged up defensive end, makes plays. He's does he have a ring with the Eagles? Yes, he doesn't have a ring with Eagles, And now he's here again. Barnett in every game that he played the last.
00:34:46
Speaker 2: Five or six with the Texans and the two in the playoffs, he had a TfL and a quarterback hit in every single game minus the last one. He just didn't have a quarterback hit. He had a TfL in every game. He ended up with two and a half sacks, but quarterback hitting a TfL in every game. He was that impactful from the second he stepped onto this field for the Texans. And again, he doesn't have to play every single snap, So he got Danil Hunter and Will Anderson.
00:35:11
Speaker 1: He doesn't have to play every single snap.
00:35:13
Speaker 2: But then he comes in fresh and Will and Deaneil have been beating up those tackles and now Barnett's going against the tackle that's kind of been loosened up a little bit and Derek can go to work strong against the run. He's slippery inside, still got a lot of game left. I'm so glad they brought him back. And you just add Barnett to Audrey, to the next two guys we're gonna talk about and Jerry hughes Man. That's as good a five person defensive end group as I have heard since we've been here, right even close.
00:35:40
Speaker 4: All right, local guy Daniel Hunter double digit sacks from Minnesota, and.
00:35:47
Speaker 2: He led the league in TFLs hit twenty three TFLs last year, So you.
00:35:50
Speaker 1: Know, the guy can play the run as well.
00:35:52
Speaker 3: Huge.
00:35:52
Speaker 2: He he wants to be a four down lineman. He wants to put his hand in the dirt, but he can also rush inside. That's one of the things that he did in Minnesota. Doesn't love to do it.
00:36:01
Speaker 1: You know, none of those.
00:36:02
Speaker 2: Defensivens love to do it unless they can get that two way go against the guard. And you give Danil Hunter a two way go, it's over. He is chopping and ripping and swiping. His hands are so good. He's improved so much over the years. At LSU, he was just an athlete, kind of running around. He confirmed that when we talked to him this offseason. But he has grown his game. He understands what he has to be able to do on a down end, down out basis. I cannot wait to see what that guy looks in a Texans uniform in a game opposite the last guy we'll talk about.
00:36:31
Speaker 4: All right, Yes, second year out of Alabama, defensive rookie of the year.
00:36:38
Speaker 1: I don't know what he weighs.
00:36:39
Speaker 4: What does he say six sixty now to sixty three is really six to four? I think he's six. Will Anderson Junior, my gosh, can't wait to see the encore performance.
00:36:49
Speaker 2: He's the alpha. He is the alpha. It is through him everything goes defensively, and not that every scheme or every uh, every you know, pass rush, twist stunt game is a Will Anderson thing. When I'm talking about everything runs through him. It's the attitude of that defense. Now, Zizel Shier, I'm glad they brought in because he could take some of that. But Will Anderson sets the tone. His intensity is gonna set the tone for that group. Everything that he does is gonna set the tone. When he had a sack last year, Energy Stadium lit up. Remember that game against Tennessee week seventeen. He's got an ankle that he probably can't even walk normal, and that ankle had been that way for a few weeks, but he knew it was a gotta have it situation. He went out there for twelve snaps that game, had two sacks, beat the left tackle.
00:37:38
Speaker 1: The first one and the second one. They're like, well, we better help the left tackle.
00:37:41
Speaker 2: Then he went through the running back and the left tackle to get a second sack, got Tennessee out of field goal range right before the half. Was absolutely massive. That's just the impact he has. And that was his first year. And we talked to him a couple of times this offseason. He's just like, I'm just working to get better. And if he's working to get better, and that's the kind of guy that will get better. He'll learn more, he'll understand what tackles are trying to do. He can set them up a little bit better. You know, he's going on thousand miles an hour, and for that alone, it's the intensity. And I wrote this in Harris Hits the other day when I was out on the field. I look over in the defensive end. I think it was Saturday, look around and there are you know, a lot of players have gone inside to the bubble because THEYD O and D walk through. And I look up and it's eight forty five and there's not many people on the field. And I look over and Will is by himself going through the bags, working a dummy, working his past for rush, just by himself, and I just thought, man, dang, he walks it talks it. Plenty of guys have talked it, but then they just get in the field and like, eh, they don't walk it. He does both. He is the outpha that defense, and I love it. He's gonna set the tone for this team all ye long.
00:38:46
Speaker 4: All right, that's your defensive line position. Grew breakdown and we do this kind of stuff every day during Texans training camp live so at the ends. You look at Will Anderson Jr. Daniel Barnett. I've got Autrey listed as an end on this roster, but you know he can play inside and maybe Hughes or somebody else or Bird since he was drafted. Right, But let's say they go. Didn't Nick say they could keep ten or more?
00:39:16
Speaker 3: Was he saying or more?
00:39:18
Speaker 2: No?
00:39:18
Speaker 1: Way?
00:39:19
Speaker 3: More?
00:39:20
Speaker 2: I mean, maybe hang on a second. Maybe The problem again, the problem is is none of those guys on up playing special teams.
00:39:27
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:39:28
Speaker 2: Now here's the funny part of that, is, right, is if you asked Will Anderson to play special teams, he would.
00:39:33
Speaker 1: He probably wants to.
00:39:35
Speaker 3: It's like wanting to play on the putt team in Cleveland.
00:39:39
Speaker 4: You know, he's probably dying to make place that way.
00:39:44
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:39:44
Speaker 3: Yeah, It's like I could.
00:39:46
Speaker 1: Get after him.
00:39:47
Speaker 3: Yeah you can, but don't don't get the fifteen yarder. Yeah but that was awesome.
00:39:52
Speaker 2: But but that that I think could end up being the that's gonna end up being one of the issues is none of the those guys will play the defense line won't play special teams.
00:40:02
Speaker 1: Now, now, they could get Bird maybe to do it.
00:40:06
Speaker 2: And I think the bigger guys you can put on certain like field goal block and you know that kind of thing. But they won't be core four special teamers, and so that that keeps you from probably what having eleven guys there, but the top five defensive end rushers, Will Anderson Junior, Daniel Hunter, Deniko Autry, Derek Barnett, Jerry Hughes. Okay, so in the past first situation, you're gonna have no, no fewer than three of those guys on the field.
00:40:36
Speaker 1: And then let's just say a drive is going along, and let's go to the fourth quarter.
00:40:41
Speaker 2: Fourth quarter up, seven teams got the ball and they go into a no hutle situation.
00:40:47
Speaker 1: Yeah, what do you do?
00:40:48
Speaker 2: You put you put three of those guys out there, and you put a defensive tackle just in case they try and sneak up you know, a trap or you know a drawer or something like that in it. Right, those guys rush for three or four What happened on those long drives, they start dying, right, Yeah, they're just gassed. Well there's a throat of bounds or they change personnel. Run the next group out there. Yeah, you still have three guys you can put out there, right, that can rush from all different locations.
00:41:13
Speaker 3: It's the beauty of it.
00:41:14
Speaker 1: It's amazing.
00:41:15
Speaker 2: If you throw Mario Edwards and that group, that gives you six and Edwards and Autry could be your inside guy for either one of those.
00:41:21
Speaker 1: Just go backwards.
00:41:22
Speaker 4: So you go ten DL, ten dbs, right, yeah, probably six corners, four safeties. However, you want to break it down and then you have five slots left over roughly because you're gonna go twenty five to twenty five to three. You know it could be twenty four to twenty six that it usually is one guy swing. Yeah, yeah, but with the linebackers. You do need the linebackers for special teams, no doubt. But like we talked about, why do we even talk about three starting linebackers anymore, it's not. It's not three starting linebackers.
00:41:51
Speaker 1: It's two.
00:41:51
Speaker 4: Because you're a nickel over sixty percent of the time anyway in this league.
00:41:55
Speaker 1: That's right.
00:41:55
Speaker 4: So that's how you have to look at it. And look, we got a lot of long time to talk this. We have seven weeks from yesterday until opening day against the Colts.
00:42:05
Speaker 2: I thought about this after we did that segment. Seven weeks sounds like a long time. It's not. It is really not. It's gonna fly by, and especially because you got the preseason games, four of them, storry with the Hall of Fame game on August first, so you've got a lot of opportunities to see these guys. But that is going to go in a blink, so we better be ready. What about green Bay? Is green Bay ready? Is green Bay ready.
00:42:29
Speaker 1: To live without love? Hmm?
00:42:32
Speaker 2: We'll discuss we go around in the league next right here in Texans All Access.
00:42:35
Speaker 1: What's Happened Everybody?
00:42:36
Speaker 2: A one final segment this Monday edition of Texans All Access. Make sure you tune in tomorrow Texas Training Camp Live as Pads go on and fans go in the stands. Awesome is that fans in stands with Pads Field one. Hopefully's gonna be ready to go. They get to painted today, so it should be in good shape. Really looking forward to that happening. But you want to tune into Texas Training Camp Live. Of course, we give you all the updates everything that's happening, and obviously just fuel.
00:43:06
Speaker 1: The energy and you'll probably get a little fomo.
00:43:09
Speaker 2: I hate to say it, but you're gonna be driving around wishing you'd be there at practice with me. With us, and I appreciate you being with me two night. All right, to go around the NFL. And this is a story that popped up this morning actually, I think just after Texas training camp live.
00:43:26
Speaker 1: I can't remember when I first saw this, but Jordan Love, quarterback.
00:43:30
Speaker 2: Green Bay Packers, will not practice, according to his agents until his contract is redone. Now GM Brian Goodikuz says, hey, we're getting close. We think we're close to having this. We don't think this is going to be an issue. So again, deadlines spur action, and so the Packers are reporting to camp very soon. I can't remember what day it is, but they're reporting camp obviously any day now.
00:43:59
Speaker 1: But they will not have Jordan Love out at practice. He will be a hold in. That's what a lot of these players have done lately.
00:44:05
Speaker 2: They're there so they can't get fined, but they're not practicing and there's nothing really a team can do about it.
00:44:12
Speaker 1: So that's the way it'll be handled.
00:44:13
Speaker 2: But his agents, David Mulugetta, I believe it is Jordan Love's agent.
00:44:19
Speaker 1: They will hold out. Now.
00:44:21
Speaker 2: The contract situation for Love's a little different than others. The twenty twenty fourth season will be Love's second as full time starter, but it's the fifth on a Packers payroll. It's the final year of a one year extension to his four year rookie contract, so it definitely is time to get Love extended, especially after the year last year. So his representation told the Packers not practicing until a deal.
00:44:47
Speaker 1: Is done, and I think that's the right thing to do. Will hold in a little Love in and they'll get that deal done, I would imagine before too long.
00:44:56
Speaker 2: Speaking of contracts, Jamar Chase is coming out of his third year. Mike Brown, the president of the Let's just Say Bengals, says, we will do whatever we have to. We will bend over backwards to make sure that Jamar Chase is taken care of. Now, his LSU teammate Justin Jefferson just signed a four year, one hundred and forty million dollars deal he works in the league. Jamar Chase will sign one for beyond that. Making it tricky is the t Higgins situation. But he's gonna play the sho under tag and then I guess says he'll go somewhere else next year and be a free agent for the class of twenty five. But the Bengals said, that's our guy, Jamar Chase. We will bend over backwards to make sure he is here. With Joe Burrow, Hard Knocks has been with the New York Giants. We've been watching that. In fact, a interesting episode is coming on as it sort of relates to this news from the New York Giants.
00:45:53
Speaker 1: Quarterback Daniel Jones should be.
00:45:56
Speaker 2: Ready to go by training can has his acl torn last year. If you've been following that story, he was out the rest of the year. Tommy DeVito stepped up for a little bit. He became kind of a cult hero for about three or three weeks. But in the end, the Giants really struggled without Daniel Jones. Now I don't think that I think the Giants were gonna struggle regardless because it did with Daniel Jones.
00:46:19
Speaker 1: But he is and I quote ready to go, said Jones.
00:46:23
Speaker 2: I feel good, ready to go, ready to go for training camp, looking forward to next Wednesday. Now he does not believe that Darren Waller, he does not have Darren Waller. Darren Waller retired, but Daniel Jones should be ready to go. What makes this interesting is a Tuesday night episode of Hard knocks, there is going to be discussion of a Jaden Daniels or a trade for Jaden Daniels. Oh, now, the Giants ended up taking Eleak neighbors Jayden Daniels teammate at LSU.
00:46:52
Speaker 1: But how interesting is this.
00:46:54
Speaker 2: They're gonna start camp, Jones is ready to go, and then that episode is gonna air showing the Giants apparently entertaining deals to trade up to go get Jade and Daniels.
00:47:05
Speaker 1: Now obviously didn't work because they ended up with the league neighbors. But interesting.
00:47:09
Speaker 2: Nonetheless, in Dallas, Trayvon Diggs brother Stefan Diggs all pro cornerback in Dallas towards ACL in week three or prior to week three, before the game against Arizona, he will start to earn.
00:47:21
Speaker 1: An active pup kind of like Andrew Back, Danelo Ross, Delshaun Phillips.
00:47:26
Speaker 2: They work out on the side and then they'll get back whenever they're healthy, they can play.
00:47:31
Speaker 1: They're not out for the year. There's two distinctions in pup.
00:47:36
Speaker 2: This is the one that allows Treyvon Diggs to come back, and he more than likely will at some point.
00:47:41
Speaker 1: All right, that's the show.
00:47:42
Speaker 2: Big thanks to Mark to all you guys for listening to my guys back at sports AREO six ten for keeping us.
00:47:47
Speaker 1: On the straight and narrow. Texas training Camp live tomorrow eight to ten. You don't want to miss it. Pads, fans fun, it's great. We'll see that everybody, and as always, go Texas.
