Paxton: shit. Here we go again. We're back.
austen: you
Paxton: I'm better than ever, baby. Let's fucking go. Man. All right. I don't even know where to take it from there. Fucking. We got a soundboard. We don't live near each other. So virtual podcasts. Pretty tight. excited. We skipped episode sixty.
austen: Obviously. Yeah. Yeah.
Paxton: Or sorry, we skipped episode 59. Yeah, we went from 58 to 60. So this is episode 59 with an asterisk filling in the gap. ⁓ 10-4 podcast. There we go. We wanted to bring it back. And here we are. Nice.
austen: Hell yeah. Yeah. Still very just go with the flow. no real direction, but we do have some things we'd like to do. And we would in general just like to start doing these again, talking to some old guests, bringing on some new ones. We got it tattooed on ourself and set a goal of 104, so.
Paxton: Yes, sir.
austen: trying to get that done for sure. Yeah.
Paxton: Now we're gonna get there. This is ⁓ the start to getting to episode a hundred and four. Well, yeah, before we keep breaking the third wall and addressing you guys, cause really this is just should be me and Austin catching up about life. the people that see this, you guys are the real OGs because we we never post on here and ⁓ it's been dead for a while. So if you're here, damn, love you. Give us suggestions, tell us like who you want to see on the podcast.
austen: 44 more bros. Yeah. Facts, facts.
Paxton: We got one cool interview lined up. ⁓ tell us stuff you want to talk about, video ideas. Shoot. If we can film it on the internet, we can do it. So if you're here, love ya. Let us know what you want.
austen: We got, yeah, definitely much love. I just off rip. We've been scheming for a while, but I think now we're actually about to run up the second NBA scooter rider comparison and just like dive into that and have some fun with it. So if that sounds like your vibe, it'll be cool. Yeah, yeah, separate video. Like, yeah.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. be a separate video. Yeah, for the for the select few that are in this niche.
austen: Maybe football players one day too, that'd be kind of sick. Bye.
Paxton: I would be sick. I don't have enough ball knowledge there, but it would be tight. And yeah, we'll just we'll fucking start saying which basketball players we think scooter riders are. And that'll be fun. ⁓ well
austen: out. Yeah. Yeah.
Paxton: So I had to hit that for the come on. If you're listening to this, if your audio only version, I'm wearing a fucking eagle hat and it looks dope as hell. Yeah. Well, man, let's w what have you been up to? What's what's life been like since, you know, we fell off the earth?
austen: It's badass. True patriot. Dude, it's been a lot of work and honestly, just trying to, yeah, figure it out. I don't want to speak too, too much on what I've been scheming on, you know, on here until it's kind of moving on a little bit. you know, get into it one day. So just working a lot, trying to stack up, trying to figure out direction. Been scootering probably one or two times a week.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. Mm.
austen: Just at skate parks, having a lot of fun. Die into film, feeling pretty good. So I know we're about to link up in Chicago for the jam. If y'all are out there, give us a shout too. yeah, know, honestly, just pretty much that. I've been going to that. There's like this cool speakeasy that we went to once that I've been just pulling up at chilling.
Paxton: Mm-hmm.
austen: Some homies riding the bike a lot with Josh. Fuck it. You know, just trying to have good times on the weekend.
Paxton: You got Josh on the bike? Josh is biking.
austen: Oh, there's a wave and I don't wanna, know, cause I got influenced by Will and my boy Mike, but now yeah, like Josh, Nathan, my boy Cameron, Jonas, like we got some homies that are like now just mobbing the trails and hopping into Zilker or Barton, just getting some food and kicking it. It's a good day, bro. It's a great day.
Paxton: No. Mm. Yeah. I can let's go.
austen: just, yeah, it's a trend in the scooter community, bro. You see it. There's some absolute animals out there that are hitting like 100 mile runs on the East Coast. It's pretty nuts, yeah.
Paxton: Mm. Ridiculous, man. A hundred mile bike sounds what's your furthest bike?
austen: Yeah, bike, yeah. ⁓ 24 miles, yeah. But yeah, that was so low and I just wanted to hit 20 and I'd like to go on a 50 low key like bike from Cedar Park to downtown, like fuck around downtown, bike home later. Pretty gnarly. Pretty gnarly. Yeah.
Paxton: Twenty four miles. Okay. It's almost a marathon. Yeah. That'd be nice. Yeah, that'd be nice. Man, we were talking about how like you find a lot of spots when you're biking around, right?
austen: Right, totally. Yeah, it's cool.
Paxton: Like you've lived in Austin your whole life and you're seeing stuff you've never seen before.
austen: all the time, bro. Yeah, it's super cool. Or like, even just going across places that I may have rode before seen before, but someone had took me there and I, I never pinned it. So I'll be now just randomly cruising through the city on trails or whatever. ⁓ A lot of alley surfing too, just because now that I've noticed that pattern, I'm kind of going a little bit more out of my way to find them. But
Paxton: Mm-hmm.
austen: Yeah, it's super cool, man. I love just seeing nature. It's really hot. It's always hot on these bike rides out here, but it's just fun. A lot of spots, a lot of spots. I'm cooking out here.
Paxton: Yeah. Man, you like f low key fell out of scootering for a while in our hiatus. And then you kinda like Yeah, a little bit. But you definitely got like a spark back where you got the motivation where you wanted to start riding again and I haven't even talked to you why. What it what what made you like want to scooter more after just being so beat on it for a little bit?
austen: Yeah, I still kind of do. Well, it's because I think I've just been kind of staying offline a little more too. Like I still respond to group chats and stuff, but I've really been trying not to like.
Paxton: Mm-hmm.
austen: I don't know, go out of my way to look at things or think about what's going on in scootering. And I think that's a big part of the spark is I don't mean to be a downer right now, but I'll keep it honest. Like there's just like a lot of things in scootering for me that ⁓ I'm sometimes not a fan of. And so, or like I feel at some points just like
Paxton: Mm. Mm-hmm.
austen: Essentially that it doesn't.
Paxton: You weren't stoked on it. You'd see certain things and it wouldn't really hype you up to go out and do it.
austen: Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. So just feel like not thinking about that and just kind of having fun with it, enjoying a feeble grind, you know, and just having a fresh set of eyes that hiatus watching. Been showing with some BMXers at house a lot and I just, really love their styles. That inspires me too. But I'm getting old. I feel like I don't have ⁓ one video.
Paxton: Nice.
austen: where I really... ⁓ really will be stoked on at 60 years old. You it's like I've slightly held back in a lot of my edits in some ways. So yeah, just like, yeah, let me see if I can still do it type of thing, you know.
Paxton: Mm. Yeah, is he? You you still got your magnum opus in you. That's how I feel. I'm like I know I still got I feel like the best video I'll put out is ahead of me.
austen: Yeah. Yeah. For sure, bro. Yeah. And in the time I wasn't scootering, I was very active in the gym or biking in my work is pretty physical too. just trying to get healthier, become more health conscious of what I eat, how long I sleep, all that just type of what I'm putting in my body, putting on it, whatever type of thing.
Paxton: Yeah. Yeah.
austen: It's just helped a lot to feel good on my scooter, feel refreshed, feel stronger. Be like, yeah.
Paxton: That's what's up, man. I'm trying to get I mean, I feel like I've been on my health wave, but I'm definitely starting to hurt. I've been on my health wave, but I know I need to do more. I need to work out for my like for scootering. Not even for scootering, but like for mobility. You feel me? Like I need to do exercises specifically for that because ye
austen: You have too, bro. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Like explosive or like stretching.
Paxton: ⁓ like stretching, explo explosive, like explosive training, fucking I need like ⁓ more like like joint stability stuff, like stuff for yeah, and specifically to avoid injury and to feel more like confident, like I'm not gonna hurt myself when I fall. That's that's the wave I'm trying to get on. Yeah, exactly.
austen: Yeah. Yeah, yeah, jumping and running. Mm-hmm. Yeah. Courage Adams shit. He saw that gave a bike we were talking about that. Yeah
Paxton: Dude, he's gotta be hitting the the gym for for biking. He's gotta be working out like specific specifically for biking. 'Cause yeah, no way you get up from that fall if you're not, you know, working out, if you're not taking care of your body. Yeah.
austen: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, a healthy beast. Yeah, straight up. Or like 16, but he's a grown ass, probably like 30, 35 for sure.
Paxton: Yeah. I mean we're grow I'm I'm twenty five now, I'm unk. I'm like the oldest man in my scene besides Isaac. And Isaac's on his health shit. He moves like he's younger than me. Low key well until he broke his collarbone. How many t how many times is Isaac gonna break himself? It's gotta be two times a year.
austen: Yeah. Yeah.
Paxton: Yeah, Angel agrees. ⁓ this is a good this is good podcast material right here.
austen: This 50s... yeah... he's a little bit insane. Yeah, it's crazy, bro. But yeah.
Paxton: Mamma mia! Dude, for me it's my knees. Do your knees hurt at all? Or no? My knees are fucked, bro. My like there's like a tendon that runs down the left side of my knee, on my right knee, and it is so tight. It just feels like it's it's one bad fall away from popping or something. Which I started running a bunch, and I did that side quest. And I think it was like when I was running a bunch, my knees got all fucked up. Yeah, now I'm like
austen: and
Paxton: Yeah, I wanna feel confident again to where I don't think I'm gonna like pull some shit.
austen: That's, yeah, that's essentially a big reason of what got me into my health journey and why I was, you know, kind of like half burnout on scootering because of, you know, certain things and then half because I just didn't feel confident either, bro. my right ankle was, ⁓ has always been a big problem. I've broken it like at least twice, maybe three times, sprained it, you know, however many. And it just felt like it was.
Paxton: Mm-hmm.
austen: Like there was a lot of stuff I knew I could do, but I was scared that if I took one good slam on that ankle that it would just be destroyed. I just, didn't.
Paxton: Yeah, be done. It fucks up like how much fun you can actually have or what you can do with it. 'Cause you really are. You're like, Man, I'm I gotta go w I gotta go work the next day. Do I really wanna hurt myself?
austen: Yeah, finally got health insurance.
Paxton: Which is like probably everyone listening to this is in the same f same boat. I feel like ⁓ if you're listening to this episode and you're a true OG, you know, you're a you're unked. You're unked at least to a certain extent. Maybe there's some under twenty five, but shit, that's not unk. I gotta be like true. Yeah. I I can't tell myself I'm unk I gotta be young forever, but fuck.
austen: Yeah. Pray God, Vic. Sup player. Bro, you can tell yourself you're unk. Like, I guess you, you're 25. Like, I'm 28, I accept the unk. But I'm like, fucks up with it. It's good. I'm moving like my young guns. Fuck. I'm ready for war, homie. I'm not saying.
Paxton: Yeah. True. Funky unky. Yeah. Surrounded by young guns, you stay young. Pause, but fucking that could come across wrong, but when you're with it's so true. I think about Andy, because Andy's old as shit. And ⁓ man, he doesn't scooter enough anymore. But when he was hanging around us, I feel like you're ha when you hang around like a younger group.
austen: Yeah. Nah, it's true, bro. It's true. Yeah.
Paxton: in terms of action sports, it kinda like it keeps you young 'cause they they push themselves harder and you're like, ⁓ I c okay, I can do that. Yeah, true.
austen: Yeah, for sure. Got that energy, bro. And you're like, what am I a bitch? Like, don't know. I'll stay around, know. Massy energy. It's fun. They always got some different tricks too. Sorry to cut you off, but.
Paxton: Yeah. Man. So No, you're good. A hundred percent. Something I've been liking out here in Colorado, you gotta kick her out of here, man. She's we need quiet on set.
austen: WAH! WAH! WAH! I keep doing it bro, it's coming back.
Paxton: Technical difficulties.
austen: If you know you know.
Paxton: Love you, Angel. Miss you. ⁓ Yeah, shit, you're gonna have to take her out back, dude. Wait, wait, wait. One more one more fucking bark from Angie's.
austen: ⁓ no. she nudged her way back in and shut the door hard enough.
Paxton: Man, some things never change, bro.
austen: Literally, that'll be another 10 years that.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. Man, well, something I've been really enjoying out here that I was like missing a little bit in Texas was just there's so many people that scooter out here. And then the the main difference I've noticed is like we would pull up to the skate park and it would be like 80% talking, 20% scootering when we were there. Towards the end. Towards the end. We were basically just pulling up to chill.
austen: In Austin, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Paxton: Which is nice. But out here it seems like it's a lot more like people are fucking they're trying to ride. They're trying to push each other. ⁓ I I wouldn't say push each other, but they're just fucking they're scootering more. So I'm like, okay, I I gotta I'm gonna go ride more 'cause everybody else is is pushing. And something that I've been having so much fun with is like picking trick challenges, which I miss. Like that was some shit I did at Woodward a bunch where you're like, yo, let's all
austen: This is... Yeah.
Paxton: ride this many pad and try this one trick or let's see if we can fucking get up this steep bank. You know what mean? Like picking an obstacle and then like with a squad trying one trick as a as a group in unison, you know, battle royale type. Man, I forgot how much I missed that. It's just really fun.
austen: Mm-hmm. Hell yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It was a good time, man. I,
Paxton: It's fucking sick.
austen: Yeah, for sure. I like that if I'm not already trying it, for sure.
Paxton: Yeah. And if it's something everyone can do, you know? It's like it's it's easy and like it's not too crazy. We can all try, but it's hard enough to where like we're not gonna be doing it first try. It's typically it's the the dumber it is, the better. Like the more fucking stupid the obstacle, the better. Like can you feeble around this angle grinded ledge, go like up to the side, down, some shit like that. Now just yeah, the dumber it is, the better.
austen: Mm-hmm. Yeah. Totally. Yeah, man.
Paxton: ⁓ well okay, let's refer back to the notes. ⁓ man, okay, at the top of this, I got ⁓ well first thing is we have crash out or hash out at the top of our notes, which is a segment idea where we get two people on the podcast that hate each other and they either crash out or they hash it out and they squash the beef. And I'm having a hard time thinking of like people to to get on to do it, but I'm open for ideas. Like anyone who has ideas for Crash Out or Hash Out, shout out Nipple for the name. It's a fucking really good name, but that would be fun. That's just an idea for the audience, guys. Help us scheme on that. ⁓ and then after that, something I've been thinking about a bunch is so I was like
austen: Later. Yeah. Yeah. That would be awesome.
Paxton: For the past couple months, I feel like in a real hardcore just doom scrolling lifestyle to where I sit at my desk all day and then I would get off my desk and doom scroll my phone, whether that's YouTube Shorts or Instagram. And I felt that leaving some sort of hole, you know, in me. It's just it doesn't feel good to doom scroll. And I wasn't watching like any scooter videos. And then recently I was like, okay, I need to watch some scooter videos. And it was really fucking awesome how much more like nourishing it was for my brain than just doom scrolling Instagram or YouTube shorts. Like it was like, even if it was a bad video, objective well, you know, even if it wasn't the best scooter video ever, I was like, I'm still this is like so much better for my headspace to watch like a long format video.
austen: Yeah
Paxton: And then something like scootering that like brings me back to ⁓ shit. Like I can, you know, get inspired or have constructive criticism, you know, for in my own head on the video that it's just it's fun. Like it's more it's better than scrolling a fucking reel and forgetting about it in five minutes, you know.
austen: Thank There's always gonna be one trick in an edit that I'll dig. I've pretty much found. You know? Thank you.
Paxton: True. Do you are you watching a lot of like scooter videos? No.
austen: You told me to watch that CPC one or whatever and watch 10 minutes of it at lunch and then I just forgot to circle back and I told you I wanted to and then I forgot. Still have yet to do it. Those are great guys too. Sorry.
Paxton: Get video. The end is probably the best part. That was a good video. What's the lat what's like the most Yeah. No, totally. They're fucking awesome.
austen: Shout out to Guiafre and uh...
Paxton: Since the since the last time we talked, what's a video that comes to your mind that you that you're stoked to see? Don't can't think one ⁓
austen: I literally don't know. I unfollowed Ola and Shrenkill. And that's like no hate to them, but I just got tired of ⁓ seeing that shit on my profile. ⁓ Just the clips from edits. And so.
Paxton: Mm.
austen: You know, but now I don't even open YouTube for them. So like if I open YouTube, probably trying to learn some shit or, you know, maybe watch a little Fortnite video. I don't really, I don't really, yeah. Well that, yeah, if I'm like, yeah. That's not really my YouTube. My TikTok is like all sports at this point. So just like, I don't know. The last TikTok video I watched was about Messi's,
Paxton: Yeah. I mean it's basketball. A lot of basketball on my YouTube.
austen: first cup or whatever, when I'm like, whatever is going on the World, it's not the World Series, the World Cup. Yeah. I was like, damn bro, was a gnarly ass game, bro. The other opponent got a hat trick, which is three goals. So it's fucking nuts. Went to penalties. yeah. Bro ended up winning. Yeah, the only trophy had never won. And this will be his final cup.
Paxton: The the World Cup, yeah. Mm-hmm. She's made a legend.
austen: A lot of guys final cut. I don't know shit about soccer, but I'm like hyped to watch this shit now. This final cut, yeah. And Ronaldo, he got one maybe more after that, but that was like 20 something.
Paxton: Does Messi still play soccer? ⁓ my god, it's his final cup. He's never gotten a cup. Okay. But Messi's never got a cup though.
austen: he did. ⁓ He just, yeah, he got that cup. Yeah.
Paxton: ⁓ he did? ⁓ you so I thought you were saying that was Ronaldo. Okay, I got you. Fuck it. We can't. Yeah, let's just talk about sports. We don't fucking know. It's good podcasting for sure. No, remember remember when ⁓ Mike Holman, when we were like, what do you like, what's a video that gets you hyped up to watch? And he was like, ⁓ top ten best sports moments of all time.
austen: Whoever is the Argentinian player? Argentinian. That's the last video that comes to mind for me, know, ain't nothing with scootering. You're a fucking genius. You're ahead of your time. If you know, know. For sure.
Paxton: 'Cause no neither of us were into sports like mu I know I wasn't. I I know you were probably dabbling in football, but like when we Yeah.
austen: I grew up watching a lot of sports, but once I got into scootering, that was pretty much like... 13 or so till, yeah, like whenever that was. You know, like a couple years ago, I started watching football. And then this year I started watching the Spurs fully. I watched their full season.
Paxton: Dude, okay. This is a the perfect segue. ⁓ so I have an I told you a little bit about this and I want to expand on it. This will help on our NBA video, but nobody here watches basketball. Nobody. And I'm really just hanging out like the I'm new here, so the only people I know are like the scooter homies. and I I nobody watches basketball. And we're obviously
austen: Baseball now. Hockey. Mm-hmm.
Paxton: experience in a fucking amazing th the playoffs have been incredible. Dude.
austen: Fall don't lie, homie. This has been an insane playoff series for pretty much everyone. It's been just, any game you watch has been pretty good since the beginning of the playoffs.
Paxton: But everyone. Been yeah, amazing. And this was ⁓ so we were at the skate park, and I'm with I'm there with Charlie and Gage shout out, and I'm like, boys, it's game seven, Thunder Spurs. It's like we need to go to a fucking beatups and go watch game seven of the the fucking Western Conference Finals. That's what I thought. And first I I offered beat ups.
austen: The council meeting is mandatory for like...
Paxton: Which gauge goes, I'm vegetarian. So I was like instantly, well, the beat ups council is not raining today. And I said, cauliflower wings, and he said, That's what everybody says. Funny story, he's vegetarian by choice. Sorry to air out your shit, Gage. ⁓ cause his mother was vegetarian, ⁓ not for ethical reasons. And he's eaten one piece of meat his entire life. You want to guess what it is?
austen: Look at this. Yes, good sums.
Paxton: It's not no, it's not that. He's had a one piece of beef jerky, gas station beef jerky when he graduated. That's it. Isn't that fucking crazy?
austen: Brother, brother didn't even want a nice bite of a nice medium rare steak.
Paxton: That's what d exactly. Not even a steak? Alright. That just blew that blew my mind. I had to, okay. But so we're at the skate park. Gage, seriously, I need to cook him like a chicken thigh. But we're at the park. I will, if he lets me. And then ⁓ we we're at the skate park and I'm trying to convince him and Charlie to go watch game seven with me.
austen: bloody ass cheeseburger real quick. gauge. You season that bitch for him. Mm-hmm.
Paxton: And I was neither of them watch they don't watch basketball. So I'm trying to relate it to something they know. Scootering. I was like, all right, but like let me fucking sell you guys on the idea of game seven. So I start trying to explain, you know, Wimby would be like some crazy fucking French rider that came out of nowhere. Which I think Wim I think we agree Mendy might be Wimby.
austen: Right. Mm-hmm. Maybe Wendy is fucking, you know what I'm saying?
Paxton: But I basically couldn't fucking convince them and I didn't have a good argument of like how to explain this in scooter terms. So dude, how do you explain game seven, Spurs versus the Thunder, and that series by
austen: Bro. Sometimes you just bro, you gotta just tell like you had the right idea with a nice meal because I got enticed in the baseball by my homie with a nice meal, pull up and show, put a little sweat on the game just to make it more fun for me. But dude, that was a hell of a game. When you know a hell of a game is coming on, you take someone who doesn't know shit about shit and you just get their ass into a seat and you say, trust me, brother.
Paxton: Mm. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.
austen: This is about to be a good ass movie. Trust me, the energy in this bar is about to be fucking high. It's gonna be sick. And if they aren't willing to trust you, it's their loss, bro. But sometimes you just gotta extend your hand out and be like, just gotta take this shit, bro.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I guess it is their loss, man. Mm. Yeah, I guess you really do just see I I like to get ⁓ in the seat play. See, I was trying to take the angle of how can I relate this to scootering something they know to get them hyped on it. And I know most people in here that's
austen: Jack Walsh, Reese DeWesma, Game of Scoot on TV.
Paxton: That is what it is. But if okay, come on, we can't fucking Wimby low key. Wimby, we could make a case that he's Jack Walsh.
austen: He's Mindy.
Paxton: You like that? New Jen becoming becoming the face of the league. He's not there yet, but he's becoming it. I feel like this is the place Jack is in right now.
austen: I mean, to keep it a buck, bro. Like, I'm obviously not keeping up with this shit, but he is, like, probably bent in the face. Like, so...
Paxton: Well, what about Reese? I feel like Reese is the face.
austen: He won Barcelona, but like, if you go the past couple years, I would probably guess Jack has done more videos and won more things than Reese. And if you like were to ask my opinion on the goat, it's still Reese. But ⁓ statistically, it's probably Jack.
Paxton: Fair enough. Mm-hmm. Statistically, hmm I'd say statistically we're still Reese is still the goat for sure. Now Jack's below, yeah.
austen: pretty even. He's still the guy, I Reese has like no offense, Jack, but like Reese is just, he has the sauce more, you know, he's himself, he's been himself, he knows his lane, he stays in it. And ⁓ it's obviously just his own, you know, you can't can't even fuck with it. So he is exactly, bro. He's that guy. And...
Paxton: Mm. Mm-hmm. He's unfuck whittable.
austen: Yeah.
Paxton: play with these for all right, well
austen: I don't know. I'd say a Jack wash is like more of a SGA type of thing.
Paxton: Really? But SD SGA is hated. I was gonna pick someone I'd be like
austen: He's like the league MVP though, and like if fools are gonna salt his name, you know, he may foul bait. Maybe Jack does a little bit of the fake steez here and there. Like he could do harder things that he could in my opinion, but he doesn't to ⁓ maybe have the steez effect in certain scenarios. ⁓ Same thing with, I'm not gonna throw strays actually, but. ⁓
Paxton: Mm-hmm. May maybe Jack does foulbate, honestly. Mm-hmm. Mm.
austen: trying to, you know, but say, so the MVP, made.
Paxton: Yeah. I mean who try I mean SGA, you gotta pick somebody who's amazing, amazing but but a little hated, definitely hated, and tries to act too nonchalant, you know, putting on a persona of, you know, I wanna be really nonchalant and cool, which ⁓ I don't Jack Jack is about sixty percent SGA, but he he's has self-awareness. We can't give him
austen: ⁓ bro. I mean No hate, no hate. He does. He does.
Paxton: He does at least in person. I'd say his Instagram is very performative, but that's okay, that's Instagram. We can cut him some sli i if Ex yeah, it's for the birds.
austen: for the birds, bro, you know what saying? Like you gotta be a little bit performative, but yeah, bro, I feel like one day I got fucking fried enough to just see through the facade. I was like, yeah, I was being hella performative for no reason. Like kind of like disgust me now to even post a story most of the time, like.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. Yeah.
austen: but yeah, you I'm fucking old, old nonk now. So it's like, I look back at myself, 21, that fool is not even 21 either. So it's like, I was even worse that age. But I think Jack for his age and for the quote unquote pressure or whatever on his shoulders, he is, he's handling it very well and he's very well ⁓ kept, very well mannered. You know, he's like.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. Mm. Absolutely. And then some insider information for those who don't know, he came to Austin and filmed with me and got really, really awesome clips. And it's going to be in his new video. And then when he drops his new video, we're going to put a re edit up of all of his clips in Austin. And I really like it. I think it's one of my favorite videos I've made. So keep an eye out for that. That'll be really sick. I mean, he's he's so good, man.
austen: So it's cool. push him to do the B-side video of Jack and Stacey because that would be pretty sweet. That would bang. That would bang.
Paxton: Mm. Yeah, that too. If you wanna see B sides of Jack and Pace ke ⁓ Jack and Stacey comment down below.
austen: But yeah, I don't know, bro. We'll get on to all the NBA shit. Like, Jack is obviously just someone who's up there for sure in the league. ⁓ You know? Yeah. Ball don't lie, for sure. You know? So.
Paxton: Mm. The league, bro. Yeah. No, ball ball doesn't lie, man. Ball does not lie. Mm-mm. Well, yeah. I don't know. I was gonna compare SGA to like a Matisse, but we can move on. We can move this is a topic for another video. ⁓
austen: You can't turn a blind eye to that. minute. Thanks, see you. Let's actually do this video. The sent to me, actually, hilarious. Not even a tad. Yeah, what else we got on the list?
Paxton: We got a couple things. We got we got ⁓ what brands are sick right now. That's one topic. What brands are actually doing it well. Which off the top of my head, North. So we had a little a brief conversation of what companies we actually think feel like a legitimate team, where like the people on the team actually seem like homies and they're doing shit together. And I mean there's North. I know there's another one we talked about, but North is one where I I'm like, okay, they actually seem like they're all boys like going out and filming together, which is nice. Cause most scooter teams and something that's kind of just bullshit that we need to fix, ⁓ that we personally need to fix, is ⁓ most scooter companies just like put a bunch of dudes on their roster, but there's no cohesion at all with their team. Like it's not a It's not a team, it's just a bunch of random heads. You know?
austen: Shit is nuts. Shit is absolutely nuts. No, no, no, no. Well, I guess the guy I was about to say, I guess isn't actually on there yet. I don't know ⁓ if they announced it at this time, but some dude on the East Coast and Theo, like, they're definitely not.
Paxton: And nothing merges together. Like it's like native native does it well. Native is a good example. Nate you don't think so? Why don't you think native's a good team?
austen: boys and I definitely personally don't care to see see them collaborate in a video. ⁓ Devin is cool. You know, it's like it's cool. They gave him the first spot back after like whatever happened. I can't really say they hold him but it's cool that they're you know, getting them getting some bread in his pocket.
Paxton: Mm. Mm-hmm. I think they just ran out of money, honestly. I think the the it was just a money issue.
austen: Could have been, I have no idea. But that's cool, that's cool. Australian native for sure, for sure, yeah. ⁓ But that's just kinda dead too, like who even still rides from them? When's the last time you've seen an edit of like, you saw the day in the life of ⁓ Kevin Austin, but Reagan Thompson's been like hurt.
Paxton: Yeah. But all right, well I'm thinking about Australian native. I'm thinking about like yeah, they're all boys. Like that's like that's team cohesion, you know? That is true. I guess it kinda died down. Mm-hmm.
austen: or maybe like healed a little bit now, but Levi Knight, where the fuck's he at, bro? Sondesy, like he probably still posts every day on Instagram.
Paxton: Let's see. C no no Kai is off native. Kai ain't on native.
austen: ⁓ yeah, you sold out, huh? Drone. Drone. Download City of Legends app and vote for me.
Paxton: He's on drone, he's sold out. He sold out, man. I guess okay, the last team video I think was format. I guess and then you got Gioffrey. That was six months ago. You got Joel, you got Kevin Austin, you got this Felix dude who's new. Joel's a dog.
austen: How long ago? ⁓ Joel is a dog. Felix is a dog too. He's on ⁓ though. Like who knows how tight they all are, you know, but because they're having to rebrand, which I totally understand, but I've really kept up with them. They had that. They had that for sure.
Paxton: They had that. That's my exam yeah, when they had that when it was like their core Australian bros, like that was like a team. They felt like boys. They had chemistry, you know. You need chemistry.
austen: I that. I feel like it's like a wave has washed onto the beach, bro. And a lot of these guys that were like...
Paxton: Mm-hmm.
austen: The teams, lot of these teams, like the last era of, in my opinion, like good scooter teams is gone, bro. And that's the hater in me, probably speaking a little louder than facts. But like, bro, it is a lot of random, even when ethic flies all their people out together, I'm like, this is just a melting pot of like.
Paxton: The majority of them are, is what it feels like. Yes. Ethic does not have good brand cohesion in terms of how their riders look next to one another in a video. It's all over the place. It's just all over the place. It is, it's gross. There's n there's there's we need like
austen: Like, it's backflips. It's backflips bro, like genuinely and they're gnarly. They're gnarly but it's like, bro. I'm gonna really try and refrain from catching stray and strays sending strays but ⁓ yeah, it's just like, bro, it's that's kind of like I don't it could be different now. I but like it got to the point where I didn't care to
Paxton: It's a lot of backflips. Just that's why you're vague.
austen: pretty much watch anyone scooter as a group at least for sure. Like there's some really cool groups. Whatever that Berlin crew is, anything they drop, I'm down to watch. Pretty much anything from those Spanish dudes, I'm down to fucking watch. ⁓ Really like their vibes, but a of the US scootering is just...
Paxton: Mm-hmm. US scootering's dying out, man. It's yeah, in terms of like what's getting put out from the US.
austen: It's weird. It's weird. Now, we need this Paris video to save us.
Paxton: Yeah, we do. Perish. Save us, man.
austen: impatiently waiting. Couldn't drop it Chicago. Couldn't drop it Chicago.
Paxton: He's the autistic super soldier that can do it, man. He can totally do it. He's ⁓ he's got the eye for that shit.
austen: Yeah. ⁓ the last video I did watch that I was hyped on was that badger video.
Paxton: Mm, hidden agenda was really good.
austen: I did watch that on my own and then we watched it like a week ago and it was really good both times. That's like that type of shit I'll always watch too, like for sure. Just homies, yeah.
Paxton: Yeah. Mm-hmm. And that's good cohesion from a bunch of dudes. And that's just because it's not a company, I mean it's just Badger and his homies. Which makes and those are the best videos because there's actually cohesion.
austen: is think a lot of these companies, ⁓ even if they're like rider-owned, OG owners, they're just too into the mindset of social media nowadays. And they're more like, they need views probably to sustain their businesses. And so...
Paxton: They do. And like from Exactly. To play I was gonna play devil's advocate here and just be like, they gotta it sucks because there's not a lot of money in scootering, so you know the owners of these companies. It's not like they're loaded out the wazoo, you know? So they gotta kinda they have to play the business side of things, but it is annoying when it takes away from the art of what is scootering. Like what like why it's so cool. 'Cause it definitely dumbs it down. It b it makes it really bland and it just doesn't there's no flavor. Like a lot of these brands they just don't got any flavor.
austen: at all bro like even that new AO video like that team video I watched that actually too because they didn't put Brian's clips in and he was like talking about it in the group chat and his Instagram clips that he filmed on a camera in the streets that were supposed to be in that video in my opinion were better than a majority of even those clips.
Paxton: Mm-hmm.
austen: and just like the coheat, like Josh Essig had some good clips, know, had a couple of nose blunts, but other than that, I don't really remember what Juju was on. I don't remember any of those.
Paxton: Did you did a big three sixty, that was pretty nice. ⁓ but yeah, I mean
austen: To be real though, bro, like...
Paxton: But you didn't think it was that big?
austen: Well that and it's like a 360 Like I don't know bro I'm throwing the three whip personally like I don't really ever that's like it that's doing no trick off a roof drop to me You know, that's like you're you're really scared to go big at that point. Yeah No, no hate to juju
Paxton: I wouldn't have threat it, but
austen: I mean, bro, I could get there and be like, hell no, I'm not threeing this. But it's like, if I were to three you, three anything big, I guarantee you it's going to have a downhill, a tail whip, a bar. Yeah, I don't really.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. What about less is more though? Where are we at with less is more?
austen: Nah, I don't respect a fake Steez3. Like, nah. I'd rather you do a nice clean tail whip 360. That is like the go to, the best clean looking trick down a drop to just, my opinion, my opinion. I don't want to see no, do multiple deck spins or whip bar, bar whip, bri flip. You can send a front scoot. Like in my opinion, that's like.
Paxton: Mm.
austen: pretty less is more chill, know, teaser. But, nah, I don't, ⁓ three whip bar. That'd be pretty sweet. You're sure not down that, you know, but I just, the less is more applies to me more so in like, like a three loops, not more. I guess be real. Is that fuck to say, but like a three whip, it's like so easy. It's so easy.
Paxton: Okay. It's I feel like it's a little f a little fucked. I think it's a little fucked, man. It's easy, but on something that big
austen: It was like a five flat five or like a seven flat. It was like a 15, 16 stair. Like, you know, it's big. It's not even Hollywood though, you know?
Paxton: Dude it looked It looked big. Now was it was it the ender big? Maybe not. I mean
austen: I mean out of the rest of their clips for sure it was bro. For sure.
Paxton: I won't shit. I need to rewatch the video, I guess. But
austen: ⁓ I'm hating on it too, because they didn't put Chav in there. it's like, I'm just AO in general, bro. Like if Andy Wagner was a real scooter rider and not like a OG rollerblader, I feel like AO could be what it was like a long time ago, which was really sick when I got into scooters.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, the thing about AO is like like that that first video or the video we're talking about with everybody.
austen: Elliot Arnold in the pool of blood, like signature deck promo. And it's like, I don't even like heavy metal, but that was like, yeah, you're like, bro, him, Zig, Corey, ⁓ Enzo, that was just like, bro, they were cool. They were cool, hardcore dudes. And that was a real team, bro. They partied together, they chilled together, they sent it together, you know.
Paxton: Yeah. Yeah, this is staple. Mm-hmm. I wonder how much of that is nostalgia and how much of it is I mean it's gotta be fifty fifty, but mm-hmm.
austen: I mean, Corey was never that good. Let's be real. Zig. You know, yeah, in hindsight, what did he probably just three and some big shit too. So who am I to be like, that's fucking. Yeah, I mean, for the time though, for the time though, like.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. This might be the nostalgia hitting a little bit. For the time, for sure. I mean Elliot Arnold was way ahead of his a way ahead of the game when it came to like spots for sure.
austen: was doing some new, yeah, his rail game. He was the second McKean essentially, know, like maybe third or, know, if some fucking dude wants to, you know, really nerd out on it, who knows, but yeah, USM. ⁓
Paxton: Mm-hmm. Mm. A.O. is the perfect example though, is like I I really like all the guys on A.O., but it's the perfect example of a brand that lost its flavor. Like it there's not like a lot of taste behind A.O. Like it's it just feels kind of uninspired.
austen: is
Paxton: No, I will s I enjoyed the most recent AO video. Just to add like I will I'll take the opposite stance here. I had a g I really enjoyed the video. Honestly. I watched that and I was like, this is better than a majority of the stuff I've watched recently. But still, as the brand as a whole, like looking at the brand as a whole, it is very lackli it just feels really uninspired. It's
austen: There's a lot I could say. Yeah. I'll have to go re-watch it. It's a fresh mine.
Paxton: It's not that bad, I promise. I enjoyed it. Mm-hmm.
austen: It's not that it was terrible. I'm not like saying those guys like they're obviously all good scooter riders, but that's how I felt watching it was like, just kind of uninspired. Like they were all kind of like, I feel like holding back the real clips for a solo like deck project or something, you know, like it was all like kind of some Instagram ass footage, know, with mixed in with a few like I.
Paxton: Mm. That could be the case too. Mm-hmm.
austen: That was a little gnarlier, you know? But... ⁓
Paxton: Mm-hmm. I can see it there.
austen: I don't know, I don't feel like their style is matched at all, was the main thing.
Paxton: That is a good point. Is I mean you really are I mean, Juju and Josh like couldn't be any more different. I I don't know. I mean b the Badger Clit example is so perfect because everybody in that video looks like and the filming, I mean, he's just the goat. But
austen: filming. editing like every every aspect is different you know
Paxton: Everything works together and it like plays off each other. Like it just everything looks like it's supposed to be in the video, you know? To where yeah, ⁓ there's a lot of scooter videos now where just like it constantly there there are things that just feel so out of place. To where it's just f it it just looks forced, you know?
austen: Or, yeah, it looks like you saw that in a video and you don't know what to do for b roll. So you just do basically the same exact thing. And it's like, yeah, bro, if you're like, I don't know, and a lot of people use a different camera or a bunch of different cameras, bunch of different filmmakers, and then have someone edit it who maybe not be the best or care that much. And it's ⁓
Paxton: Mm-hmm.
austen: All that plays a big part when you slop it together and press post. Whoever that one guy who dropped a welcome to rad video, I opened up Instagram one day and I saw it was the first thing, because I followed that guy up.
Paxton: Yeah, absolutely, man.
austen: Casper, sorry to throw you astray brother, but like there was a pretty sick Instagram promo of him hitting like a nasty down rail flat rail front 50. And so I scrolled down a little bit and like I was like, oh, he's got a video out. Let me go watch this, you know, popped it up and dude, it was so, so bad, bro. So bad. Yeah. Yeah.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Did did you watch the one on Olay? Okay. Now I I'm let's let's help Casper out here because I low key feel bad about this. The one on Olay got fucked. Like bad. Like the exposure. Did you notice how you couldn't see anything in the video? Yes.
austen: Yeah. That's what I'm saying, it was, it seemed like this trendy kind of fucking...
Paxton: No, that was not intentional. Now I will say his camera is still overexposed in a bunch of clips. But the one on Olay is like I don't know what Jared did, but the file got fucked up like bad. And he re uploaded it on his own YouTube channel and it's like eighty percent better. Like it's it was truly the file conversion got fucked up and the camera I mean it's it's pretty ridiculous like how overexposed it is on Olay.
austen: It hurt my eyes, bro. I genuinely forced myself to finish it because I was hoping he had, you know, good ass video and it was pretty good. I'll give him that. But it was like, hey, I hated it at the same time. ⁓
Paxton: He looks like translucent. Yes. Dude, this is this is actually perfect because we can do him some justice here. Because no, the Olay one was like so awful. Like it was terrible. The file got messed up that bad. And if you go watch the one on his YouTube ch
austen: But then Jared didn't notice. He didn't care to change it. Like, what's up with that dog? What's up with Jared?
Paxton: That's what I'm saying. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. I mean I don't know how I don't know how the fuck that yeah. Me too.
austen: I would tell him delete that ace. I don't want my name associated with that shit at all.
Paxton: Me too, man. But if you guys have the same opinion as Austin because you only watched the Olay video, it was the wrong video. Go go to Casper's channel. He uploaded the real version and it is not nearly as fucking seizure inducing where you can't even see what the hell's going on. Cause 'cause the video on Le Olay looks like my background right now.
austen: Go peep it out, I'ma peep it out. Yes. down below. rage bait.
Paxton: Like this is if you're looking at the video version, like you see how you can barely see my hand? That's what Casper's video looks like on O lay. And then if you watch the real one, it's like, you know, the hand looks like this, probably. A little more in frame.
austen: It was... It was crazy. That makes me feel better though, because I genuinely thought he was like fucking with that drop in it and I was like, yeah, these kids are getting out of control. Okay, that's good.
Paxton: No. No, that was not a creative decision. So he's one we s I feel like I'd be down to get him on the podcast, honestly. He seems sick.
austen: He's sick. He's sick, bro. Yeah. You have him clear the record up, for sure.
Paxton: ⁓ yeah. I would love to hear his opinion on that because I would be furious. That would make me so mad.
austen: Yeah. Crash out or hash out, him and Jared.
Paxton: Crash out or hash out Casper and Jared. Ooh. I don't think Jared would do that.
austen: We're like, well, we just tell Jared it's the episode that we've been trying to do with him. We finally get him here.
Paxton: Join let Casper join in. Hey, we got a special guest for ya.
austen: Yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll keep them on retainer. Get like a little bit of a good 45 out of them.
Paxton: Ha ha. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I like it.
austen: That would be hilarious. Maybe that's how we should do it, bro. Like we just have like one of them on and then towards the end, like, all right, bro, we're at, we actually got a caller on the line. Hold up. Just like throw it, throw them together, see what happens. Yeah.
Paxton: Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, we're starting to do call-ins now where people can call in and ask you a question. So first caller. Casper potts, potties. Casper cop potty mouth. Whatever his fucking last name is. Man, that would be good. I still really want to psychoanalyze a scooter rider too. Which is please, guys, put in the please help us in the comments here. We have to do this where we get somebody on who we've never talked to in our whole life and then
austen: Yeah, Yeah.
Paxton: Fifteen minutes before the podcast starts, or however long it takes, I don't care. We watch a bunch of his footage and then we try to figure out what his personality is, what kind of person he is, and how he's gonna act strictly based on his writing. We just see if occupation. Dude. And then we we write down all the questions to ask him and we see how many we can get right and then reflect at the end. This guy's unemployed.
austen: occupation, relationship, everything. sick that would be hilarious yeah yeah been to an AA meeting
Paxton: he's unemployed, he's NAA, really down to earth, but definitely has a dark side to him. Maybe didn't wasn't like g get deep, dude, be therapist. Probably didn't really have, you know, like a a ⁓ motherly figure in his life growing up. Or father.
austen: Mm-hmm. Anyway. be so funny.
Paxton: Man, if if we could get it right, I feel like the majority of the time it'll be wrong, but man, getting going and actually getting somebody's personality and like the essence of who they are just from their footage would just make me so happy, man. And that's some sh I don't see anybody doing I don't even see anybody doing that in like skateboarding, you know? Psychoanalyzing who someone is based on their footage. And then and then
austen: Cut. Yeah. Hehe. Be hilarious.
Paxton: you know, trying to prove it by interviewing him. So man, let me know. Hugo comes to mind for me. I don't know how well his English is though. You know, Hugo, yeah. Like I feel like that guy's pretty aggro.
austen: It does a lot of umbrellas.
Paxton: He gives me like fucking pit bull energy, man. Like he's like he's got that like buff scrappy dog. Yeah, he is a Frenchie. Yeah. Like he he grinds his teeth when he sleep. He does probably breathe hard as fuck. And that's something we can pick up in the audio. Yeah?
austen: Yeah, he's a little Frenchy. Try pretty hard as fuck, yeah. Definitely bar fights type of vibe.
Paxton: Yeah, yeah. I could see bar fights from Hugo.
austen: Yeah, no. It's possible.
Paxton: It's a possibility. Or at fifty four minutes. Let's see, what else we got? ⁓ how'd you feel about Barcelona watching it?
austen: ⁓ it was cool. It was cool. ⁓ don't know if I saw like an actual good video on the street jam realistically.
Paxton: Mm. Yeah, I hope they still are like working on.
austen: and watching Patty's live video.
Paxton: Didn't Patty get jumped?
austen: Didla. Zech. Just talking shit about everyone's writing.
Paxton: Yeah, sounds about right.
austen: Yeah, it was pretty good though. I mean, people were sending it. I'm glad Reese won. I was like, honestly pretty bummed they were just lazy and used the same spots like Barcelona and you're picking the same like King trail into a piece of shit 12 stair bricks 12 like what the fuck?
Paxton: So happy that Reese won. Mm-hmm.
austen: ⁓ here's 50k. Yeah, hit this kink trail into a fucking stair set after like, kind of fucking Matt, like rat trap is that shit. You know, throwing a little cheese on that 12 stair at the bottom, like come and get it, bro. ⁓ And like, what? Yeah, big pile of cheese, bro. And then, bro.
Paxton: Yeah. I've ⁓ rat trap is a really good way to put it. With of the most cheese there's ever been. ⁓ you don't like this spot, you little rat? Look at how much fucking cheese is right here.
austen: There's like, there's too much I really could say actually thinking about it because for Reese to get 25 bands and for that chick to get like 10 is kind of...
Paxton: Who got ten?
austen: I don't even know if I follow her or her, but I saw some chick got like a best women's trick and first place women's and they were like three, five, like close to 10 grand each, I guess euros. And I looked at the highlights of what she did. And I am all for women getting paid, women scootering, but like.
Paxton: She got ten grand?
austen: bars. Like y'all ain't even...
Paxton: There's not a lot of ⁓ man. That is it. It's just it's tough 'cause there's not like there's not enough, you know? There's not enough of ⁓
austen: Do you want to end? And so it's like, should we really compensate them half or a third of the prize money for like, no hate, but an N word or a board slide? It's like, nah bro, Reese goddamn needs that 35k bro. I don't remember who won, so I don't remember who she looks like.
Paxton: I mean of course Yeah, I mean Also, yeah. H how old was she? How how old was she? 'Cause if she's like still living with her parents and she won ten grand and that came out of Reese's pocket, that's so fucked up, man. Yeah.
austen: That's more so the thing is it's like, bro, Reese for since he's been born has decided like deserved a good paycheck from scootering. And so I feel a little way like call me sexist fucking cancel me. I don't generally care. But it's like, bro, exactly. Give her like a girl like a grand or two each for like five max. But like, to say
Paxton: Mm. Mm. Fucking cancel me, I don't fucking cancel me. Yeah, five max for sure.
austen: There's 60 grand on the line and the men's winner gets 25k of it. Like he should at least get half that. He should get a cool 30 racks for sure.
Paxton: Half would be twenty five. ⁓ they did. You're right. Okay.
austen: No, they added it to 60. Yeah. So I'm like, bro, you should at least get a cool 35. And like, yeah, give Carlos the best trick. That triple heel front lip was nuts. And I'm like, where'd the rest of the bread go to? Like, I don't know, but Reese deserved a lot more money. Like, I thought he was gonna get 50K. And I was like, I bet.
Paxton: Yeah. I did too, man. Yeah, it's when you're taking it from from fucking Reese, man. It's just you gotta you gotta hate on that. It's like you know he deserves that extra 5k. It's not even close. The blood, sweat, and tears, you're gonna tell me he doesn't deserve that extra five K? Probably fucking get nine K. Yeah, I know I back you on this one. For sure. Especially you gotta think like risk ratio.
austen: I gotta hate on that. I gotta hate on that. Yeah. Not to, no hate, no hate to women, any of them. But it's like, they didn't hit the kink rail. They didn't hit the gap. They didn't hit the even probably the, the long down hubba. So I'm like, what, what spot? I can't even remember what she did. She didn't hit the kink rail. So like, did she hit one spot? Like genuinely? I, I'm gonna have to pull it up.
Paxton: No ha no hate at all. It's just like the risk Yeah, it's totally Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I don't know. I gotta see the video. I don't know the clips. See, that's the thing is I I won't t I haven't seen the clips, but yeah, that amount of money
austen: Ten, ten bands?
Paxton: Ten bands is I mean, 'cause that's still like more than literally any contest ever.
austen: Yeah.
Paxton: We're just ⁓ man, yeah, you can't take that from Reese. You can't take that from Reese. And then even worse if like that's someone who still lives with their parents and, you know, is on a you know, who knows her situ hopefully it was
austen: I'm gonna find it.
Paxton: There's a backstory to where, you know, that money's going towards rent and food and and life and all that, where it it's probably not. Whereas Reese is like that like h bro's living off of scootering. Like scootering is his life. This is his livelihood. He can spend it on whatever he wants, but still he's got
austen: Yeah, I mean, yeah. Hope. he could spin that shit on whatever he wants bro 65,000 65k on the line and the winner of 25,000 is when when 65,000 is on the line it is war it's not even the winner got fucking a quarter of that what
Paxton: Mm. Mm. Mm. Yeah, that's tough. That's definitely tough.
austen: the fuck posted a million things of the fucking milk to this shit dry right here. Where's the winner? What's the post of the winner, bro?
Paxton: Hey he guys this is my cat bean y'all have never met him before ten four family this is the goat this is the goat mr bean Hey say what's up Say something Say something
austen: The goat. The goat. He just doesn't stop. Where's the winter crown at,
Paxton: Say something. You wanna you wanna close out the episode?
austen: Yeah, I was trying to find this, but fuck it. They didn't even have hard posts of the photos, a bunch of clips.
Paxton: I'm trying to see if Bean will can you give a farewell? Nope. He's gone. He knows it's over.
austen: ⁓ Hannah
Paxton: Uh-huh.
austen: Look at that one.
Paxton: Alright, well, shit. It we're rusty. You hear it, but if you're here, you're a real one, and it'll only get better. We're having fun. We're scraping the rust off. And ⁓ obviously very happy to be back. Thanks for joining in. ten four episode fifty-nine with an asterisk.
austen: ⁓ yeah. interesting. It was fun. It was fun, yeah. Hell. Hahaha
Paxton: Wait for it to drop.
austen: you
Paxton: I'm better than ever, baby.
