Ashton Shepherd

Join us this week as we welcome Country music singer songwriter, Ashton Shepherd. Hailed as a new Loretta Lynn by The Wall Street Journal, and compared to Taylor Swift by Entertainment Weekly, Ashton Shepherd stormed the country music world with her sass and southern charm in her songs "Takin' Off This Pain," "Look It Up," and "Sounds So Good."  In similar style to Miranda Lambert, the former MCA recording artist lets her genuine Alabama twang and no-nonsense attitude take it's course in her clever lyricism. The Billboard chart-topping artist secured a nomination for Top New Female Vocalist in the 2009 Academy of Country Music Awards, as well as a Female Music Video nomination in the 2011 American Country Awards. We will talk to Ashton about her upcoming schedule, get a behind the scenes look at her music, feature her latest songs, and ask her to share her message for the troops. Please be sure to visit Ashton Shepherd at https://www.ashtonshepherd.com/ and spread the word. And as always we will give shout outs to our deployed military listeners. Our message to the troops: WE do what we do, because YOU do what you do.
