E125 Bill Creates a Character

Welcome to Side Character Quest, a one-on-one actual play podcast set in a world where cicadas sing, rivers flow, magic thrums through the air, and all of it’s surrounded by a single massive Wall as ancient as history itself.

Instead of diving straight into a new adventure, you are going to get to hear our game master Ty and our guest player Bill Sunderland do a "Session 0", where they discuss the game they'll be playing and then create Bill's character, who will star in the upcoming adventure!

This week's player is Bill Sunderland, who is a podcast host, game designer, sound editor and engineer, and more! He and Dani Siller run Consume This Media, where they run audio escape rooms (Escape This Podcast and audio murder mysteries (Solve This Murder). They also stream mystery games on Play This Game! If you're a fan of videogames, check out their work on The Rise of the Golden Idol.
