Speaker 2: And two-time People's Choice Award-winning podcast.
00:00:10
Speaker 3: Hello, everybody.
00:00:13
Speaker 2: We are Scrubbing In.
00:00:16
Speaker 3: That we are. It's not just any typical Monday. It's Monday, October 26th, just a few days before Becca's birthday.
00:00:24
Speaker 4: Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow.
00:00:25
Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
00:00:26
Speaker 3: I thought it was only appropriate. On this Monday's podcast to sing her and wish her happy birthday.
00:00:32
Speaker 2: I have nine cupcakes.
00:00:35
Speaker 5: And five candles.
00:00:35
Speaker 2: In front of me. And they're all with icing. Each one says happy birthday, Becca. It's very cute.
00:00:42
Speaker 5: Wow, they don't spell anything. Each one is individually.
00:00:44
Speaker 2: It's not HBD Beck.
00:00:45
Speaker 5: Right.
00:00:46
Speaker 2: It's not happy birthday.
00:00:48
Speaker 1: Nope.
00:00:48
Speaker 2: It's happy birthday, Becca.
00:00:50
Speaker 5: On each one.
00:00:51
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:00:52
Speaker 2: Are they different flavors?
00:00:53
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah.
00:00:54
Speaker 5: What flavors are they?
00:00:55
Speaker 2: Do you know?
00:00:57
Speaker 5: Okay, sorry. No microphone for Tonya. No microphone. Is there a chocolate one?
00:01:01
Speaker 2: Yeah. Seems to be a chocolate. Seems to be a birthday cake.
00:01:04
Speaker 5: Is there a red velvet? Happy birthday to you. Happy birthday to you.
00:01:12
Speaker 2: You started out high.
00:01:13
Speaker 5: Happy birthday, dear Becca. That is high. Happy birthday to you.
00:01:24
Speaker 2: Wow, thank you.
00:01:31
Speaker 5: So much.
00:01:36
Speaker 3: Okay, I'm back on my seat. Did you make a nice wish?
00:01:40
Speaker 2: I made a great wish.
00:01:41
Speaker 3: Okay, great.
00:01:42
Speaker 2: And I'm very excited about these. Thank you so much. That was so nice.
00:01:45
Speaker 3: They're all different flavors. There's a strawberry. There's chocolate. There's vanilla. There's maybe like a peanut butter one.
00:01:50
Speaker 2: Oh, my gosh. A variety.
00:01:51
Speaker 3: Yeah, just a variety of sorts.
00:01:54
Speaker 2: Love. Thank you. Do you mind if I close this so it's not sitting open?
00:01:56
Speaker 5: No, please.
00:01:57
Speaker 3: Do whatever you need to do.
00:01:58
Speaker 2: Thank you so much.
00:02:00
Speaker 3: How are you feeling about your birthday this week?
00:02:02
Speaker 2: I'm feeling so great about my birthday. I am going on a little trip with Haley we were supposed to go to. Hawaii and we found out that there's like a storm coming in and so the hotel the hotel was like y'all should consider rebooking for a few days later but that would mean we get there you know it's a long trip to get there just for the weekend so we pivoted and we're going somewhere cute and cozy I'm I'm needing like some fall vibes you know I went to Rhode Island this weekend it was so fall and cute and the weather was gorgeous it's we went to Newport and um I loved it. So even on my flight home, before I found out Hawaii was, we weren't doing Hawaii, I was like, man, I could use another little fall getaway. So it worked out. There you go. Everything works out.
00:02:48
Speaker 3: Everything works out. That smoke smell is like really potent. I'm scared we're going to.
00:02:53
Speaker 5: It does make me nervous with the sprinklers in the ceiling.
00:02:55
Speaker 2: Me too.
00:02:56
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:02:57
Speaker 3: Maybe open the window, Mark. I mean, open the door.
00:03:00
Speaker 4: Sorry.
00:03:00
Speaker 5: There's people talking. I was just going to close the door because there are people talking.
00:03:03
Speaker 2: I think we're okay.
00:03:04
Speaker 3: You think so?
00:03:04
Speaker 2: I think so.
00:03:05
Speaker 3: You know, we're nothing if not problem solvers here on Scrubbing In.
00:03:10
Speaker 2: Yeah, so I'm feeling great about 38. Oh, my gosh. Everything is great at 38.
00:03:15
Speaker 3: Gobs of time.
00:03:17
Speaker 1: Youth at its peak.
00:03:21
Speaker 3: Eggs fresh as daisies.
00:03:23
Speaker 2: Hard to say, but.
00:03:26
Speaker 4: Sure.
00:03:27
Speaker 2: Yeah. Hope they are. And, yeah, so I'm feeling great about 38. A Friday birthday always feels like a good birthday.
00:03:38
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:03:38
Speaker 2: You know?
00:03:39
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:03:39
Speaker 2: Like, when it lands on a Friday, it feels like a good year.
00:03:42
Speaker 3: I do feel like every day is a Friday for you.
00:03:44
Speaker 2: Every day is a Friday for me, but for the rest of the world, when everyone... Like, Fridays are celebratory. Yes. But you're right. I... Most days are a Friday for me. Yeah, you're in a... Most days are actually a Saturday for me.
00:03:57
Speaker 5: Oof.
00:03:58
Speaker 2: That hits.
00:04:00
Speaker 3: That hits.
00:04:01
Speaker 5: So, yeah.
00:04:02
Speaker 2: Um.
00:04:04
Speaker 2: I'm very grateful. Very grateful for that.
00:04:07
Speaker 3: Anything you want to leave behind in this last year of life? Anything you want to.
00:04:10
Speaker 2: Bring into the new?
00:04:11
Speaker 3: How are we feeling?
00:04:15
Speaker 5: As you start your 39th year.
00:04:17
Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. Marking that?
00:04:19
Speaker 2: I'm on Mark's side of this.
00:04:21
Speaker 5: That's why I said it because.
00:04:23
Speaker 2: We agree on this. I don't fear age and time.
00:04:28
Speaker 3: I don't fear age and time either. Let's not get it twisted.
00:04:30
Speaker 4: Okay.
00:04:32
Speaker 3: Society has made my eggs fearful of time.
00:04:37
Speaker 2: You're in control of your fearfulness.
00:04:40
Speaker 3: Yes, but I'm not in control of my eggs, unfortunately. Although I should be.
00:04:44
Speaker 2: You should be.
00:04:45
Speaker 3: We should be. Yeah, I agree. As women.
00:04:47
Speaker 2: I agree. Yeah, so over the weekend, I went to Newport, Rhode Island to meet up with the girls from season 19 of The Bachelor, Chris Soule season, and it was me, Whitney... Carly, Ashley, I, Jade, and Caitlin. Jade was unable to come. She was in the middle of moving and it was chaos, so she wasn't able to make it. And then Caitlin was only able to stay for... we had her for one night and then she had to go back. So we're going to have to.
00:05:18
Speaker 3: Do maybe like a little redo, but went from six to four real fast.
00:05:23
Speaker 2: And we had planned to do these founding father costumes because I guess the oldest running tavern in America is in Newport, Rhode Island. And so we were going to dress up as the founding fathers, which there are six of them and go to this tavern. And we were like, well, We can't go with four of us. It doesn't make sense with just four. Like we need all six to make that work. So we nixed that idea. But it was really cute. It's fun because we, you know, I see Ashley here and there, maybe at events or like for a while it was at weddings and stuff.
00:05:58
Speaker 3: Yeah, I always see Ashley at Jonas Brothers shows.
00:06:01
Speaker 2: Yeah. But everyone else, it's a really fun weekend because we get to really catch up. And obviously, I see Caitlin and talk to Caitlin. And so it was so fun to see Whitney and Carly and get to catch up on everyone's lives. It's fun that we met the way we did and now all have very different lives. We live in different places and we get to kind of just come together and hang out.
00:06:23
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's cute.
00:06:23
Speaker 2: It's really cute.
00:06:25
Speaker 3: You were missed this weekend.
00:06:26
Speaker 2: Oh, thank you. What were you doing that you missed me there for? Just my, my availability. Yeah.
00:06:33
Speaker 3: Just like seeing your location and like seeing it say Rhode Island was just like a little jarring every time.
00:06:38
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:06:39
Speaker 3: It's just like distant.
00:06:40
Speaker 2: Yeah. Yeah. But we talked on the phone. Yeah.
00:06:42
Speaker 3: Which was super cute.
00:06:43
Speaker 2: Sometimes we don't even do while I'm here.
00:06:45
Speaker 3: No, but my favorite thing is when I'm on the phone with Becca and if I'm like making any sort of sounds like, Oh, like Robbie's Robbie's. I was like, what's going on?
00:06:51
Speaker 1: Who are you talking to?
00:06:52
Speaker 3: I'm like, I can't like fill him in while I'm whilst listening to you. And I was like, and then I'm like, Oh, I'll like make another noise.
00:07:00
Speaker 5: He's like, whoa, whoa, whoa.
00:07:01
Speaker 2: I'm like, it's Becca.
00:07:02
Speaker 3: She'll tell you after we hang up.
00:07:05
Speaker 2: That's so funny.
00:07:06
Speaker 3: I know it's cute.
00:07:08
Speaker 2: Um, yeah, it was, it was really fun. And the, you know, what's so interesting is that I really don't drink a lot. Like I will have socially, if I'm at something, I'll have a glass or here and there, but I just am not drinking on a regular basis, but we went to a winery. Oh my God.
00:07:27
Speaker 3: And wineries get you.
00:07:29
Speaker 2: Yeah. I paced myself pretty well, but I felt great. I mean, I never got, I never drank so much where I felt sick.
00:07:34
Speaker 3: Do you finish the little testers that they give you?
00:07:36
Speaker 2: So I didn't do a tester, but I got this sangria and it was caramel apple. So it was, I thought it was going to destroy me and I thought it was going to feel horrible, but I had three of them and I felt amazing.
00:07:48
Speaker 3: Wow. Was it biodynamic?
00:07:49
Speaker 2: Maybe. Don't know what that means, but maybe we'll say yes. So that night we went to the winery and then that night we went home and we got to go to Audrey's, Jared and Ashley's coffee shop, which was so fun because I've gotten to see it and hear about it. And I'm like, when am I ever going to get to go to that? You know? And so we all got to go to, they had a Halloween party. So we got to go. I met a scrubber. I saw.
00:08:13
Speaker 3: She posted it in the Facebook group and she's like, I wanted to ask her if she would FaceTime Becca. And I'm like, hello, you absolutely.
00:08:19
Speaker 2: She wanted to ask if I would FaceTime Tanya. You said Becca.
00:08:22
Speaker 5: I did?
00:08:23
Speaker 3: That's concerning.
00:08:24
Speaker 2: It still sounds the same.
00:08:26
Speaker 3: She asked if you guys could FaceTime Tanya, me.
00:08:30
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah.
00:08:30
Speaker 3: And I was like, well, I wish you would have. That would have made my day. I know.
00:08:33
Speaker 2: It was, well, it wouldn't have been late over here, actually. I was going to say it was maybe late for you. But yeah, you were just getting ready for bed, actually. 6 p.m.
00:08:43
Speaker 5: Yes.
00:08:44
Speaker 3: The sweet spot.
00:08:45
Speaker 5: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:08:45
Speaker 2: The sweet spot.
00:08:46
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:08:47
Speaker 2: So what'd you do over the weekend?
00:08:49
Speaker 3: Well, let me tell you a little something because I just discovered this like love of jujubes. Like I'm like, no.
00:08:56
Speaker 5: It's like fruit, not the candy.
00:08:58
Speaker 1: Yes.
00:08:58
Speaker 5: Fruit jujubes.
00:08:59
Speaker 3: And I go to the farmer's market this weekend and I'm like stocking up on my jujubes. I was like, Oh, you don't have very many today. And he's like, yeah, we're ending that. It's the end of the season.
00:09:07
Speaker 2: I'm like, which is life right i.
00:09:10
Speaker 3: Just discovered you and now it's the end of the season it goes yeah jujube season's the shortest season of all the fruits i'm.
00:09:16
Speaker 2: Like oh this is just of all the jujus it's the shortest shortest season.
00:09:20
Speaker 3: Very on brand for my life right now like i was just like so anyways my jujube obsession is going to be short-lived because this might be my last batch there's.
00:09:31
Speaker 2: Always next year To start from the beginning.
00:09:34
Speaker 3: And apparently you can buy it dried. But like, I don't know if that's the same.
00:09:36
Speaker 2: I love a dried fruit.
00:09:38
Speaker 3: I also watched a lot of television this weekend. And Robbie and I discovered a new ritual. I saw this thing on Instagram and I sent it to Robbie. And basically it says, when you get married, or maybe it's not all married people, but you get into like a little bit of like a, you get home at the end of the day and you like, you know, huh? to see you. Give him a peck. We're going to sleep. Good night, love. Give him a peck. Like when's the last time we made out, you know, like actually like stuck our tongue down each other's throats.
00:10:09
Speaker 2: Right. Yeah.
00:10:10
Speaker 3: So now every day we have a ritual when we get home from work, we say ritual and we just like go at it like teenagers. And it's been so fun.
00:10:22
Speaker 2: You say you can't just kiss. You have to say ritual.
00:10:24
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:10:24
Speaker 3: So he knows it's coming. Sometimes he says it, too. It's not just me that's remembering it.
00:10:30
Speaker 2: You can't just kiss each other and start. Do you think the ritual, the need to verbally say ritual will fade away?
00:10:36
Speaker 3: It might fade away. Hopefully the ritual just becomes the ritual.
00:10:39
Speaker 2: We don't have to like.
00:10:40
Speaker 3: Announce it but like right now because it's out of our norm once it becomes a habit yeah yeah yeah that's fun how many days in a row are we out We just started, so I'd say we're on day five or six right now.
00:10:50
Speaker 2: Oh, that's a pretty good run.
00:10:52
Speaker 3: It's been a delicious run.
00:10:54
Speaker 5: And what's the goal? An eternal streak?
00:10:56
Speaker 3: Just make out every day.
00:10:57
Speaker 5: With your husband.
00:10:59
Speaker 2: To keep the romantic connection so it doesn't get to a monotonous phase where it feels like roommates and you're just doing a routine.
00:11:06
Speaker 3: I mean, we're definitely not like roommates, let me tell you.
00:11:08
Speaker 2: No, but I'm saying the habit of getting home.
00:11:11
Speaker 3: Getting home and giving him a peck. Shoving your tongue down someone's throat is much more enjoyable. So anyways.
00:11:20
Speaker 2: Is he enjoying the ritual?
00:11:21
Speaker 3: I think so.
00:11:22
Speaker 2: Okay. You're not sure. Hard to say.
00:11:25
Speaker 3: Hard to say, but he's really acting like it.
00:11:27
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:11:28
Speaker 3: So whether or not he is, he's like.
00:11:31
Speaker 2: He's invested.
00:11:32
Speaker 3: Yeah. He likes it. And I've forgotten about it for like two of the days. And he said ritual. So that goes to show me that like he's into it.
00:11:39
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:11:39
Speaker 2: Okay. Great. I can't wait for an update.
00:11:42
Speaker 3: On the ritual. Well, anybody that's listening, if you want to take my ritual, feel free to use it amongst yourselves.
00:11:47
Speaker 2: What wasn't your ritual? I mean, you got the ritual.
00:11:51
Speaker 3: I'm taking it as my own. This is Tanya's tip, okay? This is Tanya's tip on October the 26th. Tanya's tongue tip. Tanya's tongue tip of the day.
00:12:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, Tanya's tongue ritual. Wait, what? Okay, well, so you started the ritual and then you said you watch TV. So were those connected or are we doing the ritual while the TV's on?
00:12:12
Speaker 3: No, no, we're doing the ritual with no TVs on. The ritual is just locked in.
00:12:16
Speaker 2: No football.
00:12:17
Speaker 3: No, actually, he's done with football for the season. His team is like so bad that he's like off his fantasy team.
00:12:23
Speaker 5: Who's his team?
00:12:24
Speaker 3: Oh, his fantasy team.
00:12:25
Speaker 5: Oh, wow. I know. Well, good for you, Tanya. That's great.
00:12:28
Speaker 2: Did everyone get injured or what happened? Because don't we still have quite a while left of football?
00:12:32
Speaker 1: A lot.
00:12:32
Speaker 2: A lot.
00:12:33
Speaker 3: So this is very exciting.
00:12:35
Speaker 5: This was week seven, I think.
00:12:36
Speaker 3: It's a little obsessive because at 6 a.m. Sunday morning, we're watching some game that's in Paris. Then we're driving to the farmer's market and we're listening to some game on the radio. Then we come back. It's on the TV the whole day until 9 p.m. last night. And then at 9.30 is when he declared he's out for the season.
00:12:53
Speaker 2: Declared.
00:12:54
Speaker 5: That might not stick. Really? I'm going to say he's probably very frustrated last night. Like maybe one of his players didn't do it. I was like, that's it. I'm out. I'm done for the season. We'll see. I hope for your sake it sticks. But by next Thursday, he might be back in again.
00:13:07
Speaker 3: He made a big stink about it.
00:13:09
Speaker 2: Big stink. You know what else is back?
00:13:12
Speaker 5: What?
00:13:12
Speaker 2: Coming back? Glee. How do you feel? Did you watch Glee?
00:13:17
Speaker 5: Yes.
00:13:18
Speaker 2: Oh.
00:13:19
Speaker 3: But I think I'm happy with it staying in its time.
00:13:22
Speaker 2: See, I feel that way too because I feel that way about everything in general. And you know what really made me feel really strong about this was the Sex and the City reboot. Oh. Because even thinking about it gets me heated and angry. And I felt like Glee, if I'm being fully transparent, I don't think I ever finished Glee. I think I stopped watching once they went to college.
00:13:48
Speaker 3: Oh, I think I did too, actually, now that you say that.
00:13:51
Speaker 2: So maybe we should complete Glee, the original, and then have an opinion. And see if we're wanting more. But I do like the idea of all the new songs being.
00:14:01
Speaker 3: current songs yeah there is something.
00:14:03
Speaker 5: Fun about that it's kind of fun to think of them doing doja cat or something.
00:14:08
Speaker 2: Like you think about they could do a whole sabrina carpenter episode they can do a whole taylor swift episode there's so many artists that they could do that i mean i just feel.
00:14:16
Speaker 3: Like can't we just leave some of these things in like the moment in which they existed.
00:14:22
Speaker 5: Here's the question There's been dozens and dozens of reboots. Have any of them been solid? The only one I can think of, which I don't even think you two watched, was Cobra Kai. Cobra Kai was really good, the Karate Kid reboot. That one exceeded all expectations. I'm trying to think if it was a big hit. I'm trying to think of any other ones that have been not only successful, but well-received.
00:14:43
Speaker 2: Here's the thing, though. Glee is different in that there's the musical element to it. And I do think if they do it right and it's cast well, I do think that if the songs go viral, it could be the one reboot to really shock us all.
00:14:58
Speaker 3: Maybe.
00:14:58
Speaker 2: So I'm taking back my thing. I'm not against the reboot of Glee. I'm actually going to lean in and be excited about it because I loved some of the Glee versions are my favorite. The way I learned to find gravity was through Glee.
00:15:13
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:15:14
Speaker 3: No, I understand. I was obsessed with Glee, too. It just needs to be handled with a lot of care.
00:15:20
Speaker 2: It's very delicate.
00:15:21
Speaker 5: What about Ryan Murphy? Can we trust Ryan Murphy to some degree? You know what?
00:15:23
Speaker 3: I don't trust a lot of people these.
00:15:27
Speaker 2: Days.
00:15:27
Speaker 3: Not to pivot, but I'm going to have a quick little.
00:15:32
Speaker 3: The people in charge of Traders this season.
00:15:33
Speaker 5: Okay.
00:15:35
Speaker 2: Very different.
00:15:37
Speaker 3: It's all producers, aren't these all?
00:15:39
Speaker 5: Sure, TV producers. They're all producers of television producers.
00:15:40
Speaker 2: Well, there's reality TV, yeah. Well, anyways, yeah.
00:15:44
Speaker 3: I used to watch Traders, and I would get a breakfast, I would get a murder, I would get a challenge, and I'd get a banishment. And I love it. You don't have to worry about me coming back next week because I am in it to win it, okay? Now NBC gets involved.
00:16:03
Speaker 4: Mm-hmm.
00:16:04
Speaker 3: And they're dropping these cliffhangers like it's nobody's business. I know.
00:16:09
Speaker 2: And I'm tired of it. I don't need it.
00:16:12
Speaker 3: I'm coming back to your show.
00:16:14
Speaker 2: Don't worry.
00:16:16
Speaker 3: You don't have to do us dirty like this. Who can I talk to to stop this?
00:16:22
Speaker 2: It's not something I'm seeing complaints about. Are you seeing other people complain about that?
00:16:25
Speaker 3: Well, so I posted this on my Instagram story and I got gobs of responses.
00:16:30
Speaker 2: People are mad.
00:16:30
Speaker 3: People are in an uproar. So I was like, I'm onto something here because I was so annoyed at this last cliffhanger. I was just like, now I have to wait a whole week to figure out this new twist that you threw at us? You're not going to tell us who won this secret thing?
00:16:45
Speaker 2: But cliffhangers have been the way of television forever. I mean, that's the reason why we watched any scripted television show.
00:16:52
Speaker 3: Give me a cliffhanger that I can binge and then I'll just watch until I can't anymore.
00:16:56
Speaker 5: That's not the point.
00:16:57
Speaker 2: Yes, it is the point.
00:16:58
Speaker 5: They don't do cliffhangers in bingeable shows because you just keep watching.
00:17:02
Speaker 3: As somebody who has watched every season of The Traitors, known to mankind. But are you going to keep watching? I might protest.
00:17:10
Speaker 5: I have a feeling you'll be back. Tell me. Tell me. I have to wait a whole week? That's the whole point of the cliffhanger is to get you thinking about it. And we can't wait for next week.
00:17:19
Speaker 3: Well, it's having the reverse effect because now I'm pissed.
00:17:21
Speaker 5: Okay.
00:17:23
Speaker 3: So you might be losing these eyeballs.
00:17:26
Speaker 2: I will literally have to see it to believe it. I'm mad. I'm mad.
00:17:33
Speaker 3: I got to produce a lot of things here. You know, I got to get involved with the Victoria's Secret fashion show. I got to talk to the traders.
00:17:40
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:17:40
Speaker 5: Well, I say we give them a good cliffhanger right here, Becca.
00:17:43
Speaker 2: All right. I want to talk about two girls and one stadium when we come back.
00:17:50
Speaker 5: Isn't that.
00:17:58
Speaker 2: Interesting that you are curious about my cliffhanger? You'll have to wait till after the break.
00:18:14
Speaker 5: We're back.
00:18:15
Speaker 4: So, two girls that have a giggly little podcast have sold out the Madison Square Garden four times.
00:18:29
Speaker 2: Four nights. Giggly squad. Paige DeSorbo, Hannah Berner, giggly squad gals.
00:18:37
Speaker 1: Yeah. And I.
00:18:41
Speaker 2: Don't know if it was anticipated how much it was going to sell. Like if maybe they were like, Hey, if it sells out the first one, we'll add a second one. But they ended up adding four nights and I am blown away, but I'm just like bowing because it's so impressive what, what they're doing. I mean, that's, that's a musical artist dream.
00:19:03
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:19:04
Speaker 3: They're just 27 nights shy of Harry Styles.
00:19:06
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:19:07
Speaker 3: Or wait, 26.
00:19:10
Speaker 5: Yeah, okay. But still, that is mind-blowing.
00:19:13
Speaker 2: It's mind-blowing. And I just am so excited for them and proud of them. And also, Paige's ex, which I don't know the lore of Craig and Paige's relationship or why they broke up or what happened. But someone said, imagine he just had a movie come out and it's called Charmed by a Southern Monster. And he's from Southern Charm. Have you ever watched that?
00:19:40
Speaker 5: No.
00:19:40
Speaker 2: Okay. I haven't either. But that's what he's from the show Southern Charm. And so he has a movie coming out called Charmed by a Southern Monster. And someone said, imagine waking up. up in a cold sweat and your ex has sold out madison square garden and.
00:19:56
Speaker 1: You're posting your movie charmed by his did he screw her over People seem to be very much team Paige, but I don't know the details.
00:20:07
Speaker 2: I don't know anything about their relationship. I know her from Giggly Squad, but she also, she was also had a cameo in Devil Wears Prada too. Like she's crushing it.
00:20:17
Speaker 3: I do feel like I missed out on the Paige and Hannah, like, lore because i never watched summer house i didn't either and i love them like i love giggly squad and i love them and i just feel like i missed out on like their early days like their beginning their come up as.
00:20:31
Speaker 2: A reality show uh binger you should dive into southern charm.
00:20:36
Speaker 3: You know there was summer house i mean i'm sorry you know there's something yeah mark doesn't know the.
00:20:41
Speaker 5: Difference i couldn't tell you the two no the thing.
00:20:43
Speaker 3: Is becca oh tell me I enjoy there are specific reality television shows that I enjoy and there are specific reality television shows that I don't enjoy. And unfortunately, the Bravo universe is like not in my Rolodex for some reason. I can't get into their shows.
00:21:02
Speaker 5: I know.
00:21:04
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean, I feel like Southern, I mean, I feel like Summer House you would get into, but I don't know. Like, I feel, I was explaining to Ashley because I tried to watch some of the real hustles of Rhode Island because I wanted to see her, and obviously I know and love her. Right, right, right. But I couldn't, my brain just can't get into the fighting.
00:21:23
Speaker 1: I know, I understand, I understand.
00:21:24
Speaker 2: I don't get a high off of it. And so I wish I could because that would be like endless television to watch.
00:21:29
Speaker 3: Endless.
00:21:29
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:21:30
Speaker 2: But I will say, Ashley Ai is so wholesome. Like, I just love her.
00:21:35
Speaker 3: I know. You were, like, explaining this to me. And I'm like, I need you to give me an example. Because you can't just keep saying she's so naive and pure. I'm like, I don't know what that means.
00:21:44
Speaker 2: I guess naive is not the word. But just, like, she's just so... I just love her. She's very... She reminds me of what life was like before social media, if that makes sense. Like, everything's just, like... Real, and we were all trying to learn that Jamie Miller baby doll dance.
00:22:00
Speaker 3: It's harder than it looks.
00:22:01
Speaker 2: Way harder than it looks. We all admitted it's way harder than it looks. And she was trying to learn, and she was just trying so hard. And I was like, I just love her so much. I mean, she's just so sweet. Everything we were trying to get for the house or whatever, we'd be like, we'll just Uber Eats it. And she's like, I'll just go get it. You guys, why are y'all Uber Eatsing everything? I'm like, gosh, I... I'm really lazy. Like she would just be like, I'll go pick it up.
00:22:27
Speaker 5: From the store.
00:22:28
Speaker 3: I'm like, no.
00:22:29
Speaker 2: The store? You mean get in the car and drive somewhere? But anyways, I just, I love her so much. And Jamie Miller ended up commenting on the post. He's very active. Be right there. I don't even know if you can help.
00:22:47
Speaker 3: I love him so much.
00:22:49
Speaker 2: Yeah, you got to meet him and dance with him. I did.
00:22:51
Speaker 3: I did get to meet him, and he was so sweet with me. He was so kind. I felt like, what's the word? Not humbled. He was, like, really trying to teach me the dance.
00:23:02
Speaker 2: Gracious.
00:23:02
Speaker 3: He was trying to teach me the dance, and you know how I am with learning dances.
00:23:05
Speaker 2: But you've been practicing it.
00:23:07
Speaker 3: I thought I, like, was going to crush it because I've watched a mazillion of the videos. And, like, when you actually do it, it's a lot harder than it looks.
00:23:14
Speaker 2: It's way harder. I have to say, everyone that we're watching do it are dancers.
00:23:18
Speaker 3: Makes it look so easy.
00:23:21
Speaker 2: And then the ones I feel like, he does another version where the phone just goes around them, and I'm like, they must have tried and said, mm-mm.
00:23:28
Speaker 3: Yeah, like the celebrities that couldn't do it, then they offer that one to me. He was like, do you want it? And I was like, no, no, if I'm going to do this, I'm going to do.
00:23:34
Speaker 2: The real one.
00:23:35
Speaker 3: He saw the practice and said, let's just do the circle.
00:23:37
Speaker 2: We have this option, too.
00:23:41
Speaker 3: And then I watch a lot of Nobody Wants Us this weekend.
00:23:44
Speaker 2: Oh, I've heard. I actually heard season three is better than season two because I had a hard time with season two.
00:23:49
Speaker 3: And I'm like portioning it out like it's like my last bit of Christmas candy for the year.
00:23:56
Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
00:23:57
Speaker 2: Because this is it.
00:23:58
Speaker 3: Well, because you get 10 episodes and I'm like, I could burn through them so fast, but I don't want to because it's so good. So I'm only letting myself watch two at a time.
00:24:04
Speaker 4: Wow.
00:24:07
Speaker 3: That's so disciplined of you. I've avoided all the spoilers.
00:24:09
Speaker 2: I haven't seen any spoilers either.
00:24:10
Speaker 5: Yeah, I know. But it's good. Better than season two would be great because I didn't love season two.
00:24:14
Speaker 3: Me too.
00:24:14
Speaker 5: Me either.
00:24:15
Speaker 3: I don't know what happened to season two.
00:24:17
Speaker 2: I loved season one.
00:24:18
Speaker 3: Season three is amazing.
00:24:19
Speaker 5: Okay.
00:24:19
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:24:20
Speaker 2: It could bring me back in.
00:24:22
Speaker 3: It should bring you back in. And you don't have to finish season two because I didn't finish it either and I'm like right back in.
00:24:26
Speaker 5: Okay, okay.
00:24:27
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:24:28
Speaker 2: Any other things you're looking forward to or binging over the weekend? Oh, you know, no.
00:24:34
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:24:37
Speaker 3: Not in particular.
00:24:38
Speaker 2: Thanks so much for that information. We do have a full, like, we're going to play a Halloween version of Family Feud.
00:24:47
Speaker 5: Yes, we do. By the way, I did some market research over the weekend. I talked to some scrubbers. I was at the World Series, or as Tanya calls it, the finals of baseball.
00:24:54
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:24:55
Speaker 5: The finales of baseball.
00:24:58
Speaker 3: A lot of commotion going on with scheduling. We had a guest coming in. And so one of our producers was like, I'm going to call Mark. And I'm like, don't bother Mark.
00:25:05
Speaker 5: I have the quote right here. She wrote Mark's at like the finales of baseball. And nobody responded to that.
00:25:13
Speaker 2: That's like when in the football, when she was narrating the football game for Robbie and she said butts in the air, butts in the air.
00:25:22
Speaker 5: But it makes sense. You get it. Yeah, I get it. So anyway, I talked to Vanessa and shouted to Vanessa who got me the tickets because she works for the Brewers. We love Vanessa. She's great.
00:25:30
Speaker 2: We love Vanessa.
00:25:30
Speaker 5: She's in Tampa now for watching games. I met Megan and Michael.
00:25:36
Speaker 3: We love Megan and Michael.
00:25:37
Speaker 2: They're great. Megan and Michael, the duo. Adorable couple. Love a duo that scrubs in.
00:25:40
Speaker 5: They have a daughter named Hadley who couldn't be cuter. Anyway, they like all the games. All of them? They don't have a preference? That's what I said. Don't you have a preference? She said, nope, keep them coming. Those are great. And then the next night, I met Becca.
00:25:53
Speaker 2: Shout out to Becca.
00:25:54
Speaker 5: Another scrubber. And I said to her, do you have any favorite games? Because they're all like, hi, hi, I don't want to bother you. I'm like, do you have any favorite games? And you're like, no, no, I love them all. Keep the games coming. I was like, okay, game's coming.
00:26:05
Speaker 3: Great.
00:26:05
Speaker 2: You like trying to get like market marketing out there.
00:26:07
Speaker 5: Yeah, tell me more about what you like and don't like about scrubbing in. And then like everything's great. So more games. We got a big game for you.
00:26:14
Speaker 3: We got a big game for you because we have a guest on Thursday. So we couldn't do a game. We should do a game with a guest.
00:26:19
Speaker 5: Oh my gosh.
00:26:21
Speaker 3: Not this guest because... He's got gobs to talk about.
00:26:25
Speaker 5: Oh, yeah.
00:26:25
Speaker 3: Maybe somebody else. Yeah. Food for thought, Mark.
00:26:30
Speaker 5: Let me chew on that food.
00:26:31
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:26:32
Speaker 5: So do you want to tease who the guest is on Thursday?
00:26:34
Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. We have someone that we all know and love. He's very beloved in just really the world. The Americas, for sure. But the world. He's been on the podcast before, but it's been years. And we are so excited because Joey Grazadeh is coming in.
00:26:52
Speaker 3: He's in a new movie with Jamie Chong. It's super cute. It's like a holiday rom-com. And then he's also in the new season of Traitors.
00:26:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, he does a great job for his acting debut. I was very impressed.
00:27:02
Speaker 5: I know.
00:27:02
Speaker 3: I'm like, he made me feel like I could act. Do you know what I mean? Because he'd never acted before and he was really good at it.
00:27:09
Speaker 2: Yeah, he did a good job. So we're going to get to talk to him about everything he's been doing because it's certainly a lot.
00:27:15
Speaker 1: Yes.
00:27:16
Speaker 2: And I just need to shout out Crystal who does our podcast edits and we love her so much.
00:27:25
Speaker 3: So much. We wouldn't be we without Crystal.
00:27:29
Speaker 2: Right. There's no we in scrubbing in without Crystal. But Every time, I mean, obviously we're here for the podcast episodes. I'm experiencing it in real life. But the edits she puts together make me feel like I'm a listener and getting to experience it for the first time. And I just have to shout out the talent and also the care that she puts into it because she's so funny. She gets us so well.
00:27:59
Speaker 5: So well.
00:27:59
Speaker 3: That's like the key. I also think that people don't understand how important it is to have somebody running your social media that like gets your show right gets you gets your show like she's not just like clipping like she right she just she has the vision.
00:28:14
Speaker 2: Totally and every time people if you think that we're editing them we are certainly not no no no we have a master behind the.
00:28:22
Speaker 5: Scenes during the menace conversation was really well.
00:28:26
Speaker 2: Done so funny that went viral Yeah, that went viral. We had a viral moment.
00:28:31
Speaker 3: We had like 3 million views on that video.
00:28:32
Speaker 2: I know.
00:28:33
Speaker 3: Giggly Squad who?
00:28:35
Speaker 2: It reached some weird algorithms where people are like, wow, really lacking content options. They don't know that we just love games.
00:28:45
Speaker 3: Yeah, excuse me.
00:28:47
Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, you don't think we could talk for hours about other things?
00:28:50
Speaker 3: Yeah, move along, Ruditude, okay? My favorite thing is like Robbie's always sending us videos from like Giggly Squad and like trying to give us like tips and tricks to do for the podcast. And I'm like, we finally got a video that went viral. And he was like, all of their videos basically have that many views.
00:29:08
Speaker 2: I was like. Yeah, I mean, they just sold out four nights at Madison Square Garden. They're pretty consistent. Next is us. Well, maybe we just start with the smaller venue live shows and test them out.
00:29:19
Speaker 5: Sorry, I just remembered. We didn't say the same thing. We better do that now because we're not going to do it in the Joey episode. Oh, my gosh. We're being rushed. It only takes a minute and then we can play the game. Okay.
00:29:29
Speaker 2: Are we doing that now or are we doing a game section?
00:29:32
Speaker 5: Right now.
00:29:33
Speaker 3: Right now.
00:29:34
Speaker 5: Back off. All right. The goal is to not say the same thing. I have 10 categories. Everybody ready? Yes. We have not made it successfully all the way through without controversy. Here we go. 10 things. Don't say the same thing. Type of nut. 3, 2, 1. Cashew. Day of the week. 3, 2, 1. Tuesday. Cartoon character. 3, 2, 1. Bugs Bunny.
00:29:58
Speaker 2: Bugs Bunny. Tonya, there's no.
00:30:06
Speaker 2: I can't think of another cartoon character. Literally not one.
00:30:09
Speaker 5: Sonic the Hedgehog, you're the voice of Sonic the Hedgehog.
00:30:11
Speaker 3: Oh my gosh, he's not, he's real.
00:30:15
Speaker 2: So sad. One day.
00:30:17
Speaker 5: One day.
00:30:19
Speaker 2: The goal is before the new year.
00:30:21
Speaker 5: Okay, deal.
00:30:21
Speaker 2: God, that was bad. We've been doing well. The thing is, you normally go for a niche thing, and I go for the... That's funny.
00:30:30
Speaker 5: It's so niche.
00:30:31
Speaker 2: Obviously not. I always go for the most basic, because you go for niche. So I, like, just let my brain roll off the tongue.
00:30:38
Speaker 3: You could have said Cinderella.
00:30:40
Speaker 2: She didn't even come to my mind.
00:30:42
Speaker 5: I know.
00:30:42
Speaker 2: All I had was bugs.
00:30:43
Speaker 5: I know.
00:30:44
Speaker 3: Why did we go there? It's weird how that happens.
00:30:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't... It's hard to say, but we'll be back with a family feud. We're back. Thank your own beat for that. What? Your dancing felt... It's time to play....
00:31:21
Speaker 5: Halloween Family Feud. So spooky. All right, here we go. We'll play it like we always do. You guys can buzz in by yelling out your name. You don't have to yell it that loud. Please yell out your name. Why do you look at me when you say that? You say it very loudly when you yell Tanya. Anyway, here we go.
00:31:40
Speaker 3: I get excited.
00:31:41
Speaker 5: First one is from Ranker. It's not a Family Feud question. Made it one. According to Ranker, what do people think is the best Halloween candy of all time?
00:31:50
Speaker 4: Tanya.
00:31:51
Speaker 5: Tanya. Snickers. Snickers is the number five answer. It's up there, but four will beat it. Becca.
00:31:59
Speaker 2: The best of all time.
00:32:00
Speaker 5: What is the best Halloween candy of all time? Four answers will beat it. Need an answer.
00:32:04
Speaker 2: Candy corn.
00:32:05
Speaker 5: Candy corn is not up there.
00:32:09
Speaker 3: Oh my gosh. Nobody likes candy corn.
00:32:11
Speaker 2: I love candy corn.
00:32:12
Speaker 3: Nobody in America likes candy corn.
00:32:14
Speaker 2: What?
00:32:14
Speaker 5: We have six answers up there, Tanya. Would you like to play or pass?
00:32:17
Speaker 2: Play.
00:32:17
Speaker 5: Play. Okay.
00:32:18
Speaker 2: Go for it.
00:32:18
Speaker 5: You got three strikes to play with. Let's hear what you got. You have Snickers up there and you got six more.
00:32:24
Speaker 3: Okay. M & M' s.
00:32:26
Speaker 5: M & M' s is number four. Twix. Twix is number three.
00:32:32
Speaker 3: Reese's penis pieces, peanut butter cups.
00:32:34
Speaker 5: You said penis. It's number one. There you go. Look at this. You've only got a few left here. Number two, number six, and number seven.
00:32:41
Speaker 4: Okay.
00:32:44
Speaker 3: So, okay. So, how many do I have left?
00:32:47
Speaker 5: Three? You have three more.
00:32:50
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:32:50
Speaker 5: All of your strikes. You're in a great position here.
00:32:55
Speaker 3: Hershey's chocolate.
00:32:56
Speaker 5: That is number six. Whoa. Two more.
00:33:01
Speaker 2: Come on. We need a warning.
00:33:03
Speaker 5: Two more. You got three strikes.
00:33:05
Speaker 3: I'm going to say peanut M & Ms.
00:33:08
Speaker 5: Not on there. No way.
00:33:09
Speaker 4: I'm sorry.
00:33:10
Speaker 2: That's your first strike.
00:33:11
Speaker 5: Go ahead.
00:33:11
Speaker 3: Kit Kat bar.
00:33:12
Speaker 5: Kit Kat number two. You can run the table a clean sweep if you give me one more answer in the top seven according to Ranker. And you still have two strikes. I said Twix.
00:33:23
Speaker 3: I said Kit Kat.
00:33:24
Speaker 5: You did. I'll run through it.
00:33:26
Speaker 4: Okay.
00:33:27
Speaker 5: One peanut butter cup, two Kit Kats, three Twix, four M & Ms, five Snickers, six Hershey's chocolate. You just need number seven.
00:33:35
Speaker 3: Hershey's chocolate. I am going to guess Whoppers.
00:33:46
Speaker 5: That's your second strike. One more. What do you mean?
00:33:51
Speaker 3: I have to get them all?
00:33:52
Speaker 5: You have to get them all or she gets a chance to steal, but there's only one left, so it's a tough steal.
00:33:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, I literally have no idea. I thought Candy Corn is amazing.
00:33:59
Speaker 3: Gummy Bears?
00:34:04
Speaker 5: I'm sorry, no. Becca, you may steal, but you only get one guess on this last answer, number seven.
00:34:10
Speaker 2: This is so hard.
00:34:11
Speaker 5: This is hard.
00:34:12
Speaker 3: If it's what I was going to guess.
00:34:13
Speaker 2: I'm going Milky Way.
00:34:15
Speaker 5: Milky Way. I'm sorry.
00:34:17
Speaker 3: Was it Almond Joy?
00:34:18
Speaker 5: It was Nestle Crunch. One of my personal favorites. Tanya, you win the round. You get the point. Congratulations. It's best three out of five. And we move on to our second question. Top five answers on the board. Name a reason a kid might not trick-or-treat.
00:34:37
Speaker 2: Becca.
00:34:37
Speaker 5: Becca.
00:34:38
Speaker 3: How about it?
00:34:41
Speaker 2: Why he might not trick-or-treat.
00:34:43
Speaker 5: Yeah, he or she might not trick-or-treat because their sick is the number two answer. One answer will be to Tanya.
00:34:49
Speaker 3: No costume.
00:34:50
Speaker 5: No costume is up there, but it's number four. So, Becca, it's your board. There are three answers up there. You want to play or pass?
00:34:57
Speaker 1: Pass.
00:34:58
Speaker 5: Tanya, you got three answers up there and three strikes to play with. Why would a kid not go trick-or-treating? Already up there is sick and no costume.
00:35:07
Speaker 3: No friends.
00:35:08
Speaker 5: That is not up there. No, I'm sorry. Three more. Number one answer is still up there. School. Sorry, no. That is your second strike. You get three up there. You get one more guess here before it goes back to Becca for the steal. Why would a kid not go trick-or-treating?
00:35:31
Speaker 3: I said no costume, no friends. No parents to take them?
00:35:36
Speaker 5: Sorry, no. Becca, you can steal this question with one answer here. There are three answers up there, including the number one answer.
00:35:49
Speaker 2: Because they're tired?
00:35:51
Speaker 5: I'm sorry, no. Tanya gets the point on that one as well.
00:35:55
Speaker 2: What was it?
00:35:56
Speaker 5: Here are the other answers. Number five, the bad weather. Could be raining out. I know we don't get a lot of that here in Southern California.
00:36:02
Speaker 2: It's not relatable for us.
00:36:03
Speaker 5: Yeah. Number three answer was they are too old or too young. Age plays a factor. And the number one answer is they're just scared to go trick-or-treating. Scared? Anxiety. Very big with the young people these days. All right, moving on to the next one in our Halloween-themed edition of Family Feared. That was a hard one. Becca, Tanya, you're up two to nothing.
00:36:20
Speaker 2: That's right.
00:36:20
Speaker 5: You win this one. It's all over.
00:36:21
Speaker 2: That's right. It's all yours.
00:36:23
Speaker 5: Name a smell you associate with fall. Tanya. Tanya.
00:36:27
Speaker 3: Pumpkin spice.
00:36:27
Speaker 5: Pumpkin spice is number four. What? Three answers will beat it. Becca.
00:36:32
Speaker 2: Associate with fall.
00:36:36
Speaker 5: A smell for the fall.
00:36:39
Speaker 2: I would say like apple.
00:36:41
Speaker 5: Apple is up there, but it's number five.
00:36:43
Speaker 2: Oh my God.
00:36:44
Speaker 5: So Tanya, you may play your pass. There's three answers left.
00:36:50
Speaker 3: I'm going to play.
00:36:50
Speaker 5: Okay. Go for it.
00:36:52
Speaker 2: She's a valiant brain.
00:36:54
Speaker 5: What do you associate with fall?
00:36:57
Speaker 3: Turkey.
00:36:58
Speaker 5: Not up there.
00:37:00
Speaker 3: Isn't Thanksgiving in the fall?
00:37:01
Speaker 5: Sure is.
00:37:02
Speaker 3: Well, these people need to.
00:37:04
Speaker 5: Okay, well. Three more answers, two more strikes.
00:37:10
Speaker 2: Crisp air.
00:37:11
Speaker 5: Crisp air is not up there.
00:37:14
Speaker 2: A great guess, though.
00:37:18
Speaker 5: Leaves? Leaves is the number one answer. Very good.
00:37:21
Speaker 2: All right.
00:37:22
Speaker 5: Two more up there. And one more strike. Rain is up there.
00:37:27
Speaker 2: Leaves and rain?
00:37:28
Speaker 5: You've got one more up there. And if you get it, this game is yours. You have won the Halloween Family Feud. If you can name this final answer.
00:37:36
Speaker 2: You can do it, Tonya. Okay. Sweep me. Leaves.
00:37:40
Speaker 5: Name a smell you associate with fall. Wind. I'm sorry. Wind is not on the board. Okay.
00:37:49
Speaker 1: Becca, one.
00:37:50
Speaker 2: That was three strikes?
00:37:51
Speaker 5: You can steal it right here and keep this game going.
00:37:53
Speaker 2: I know, I know, but I really don't know.
00:37:54
Speaker 3: Respectfully, that was just my second strike.
00:37:56
Speaker 5: No, you got three strikes.
00:37:57
Speaker 2: I'm going like fire smoke. Like smoke. Like fireplace smoke. Yeah.
00:38:02
Speaker 5: Going to go fire. Yes! Becca steals it. It says campfire, but in Southern California it says fire in general. Brush fire. It's all there. Hey, Becca wins that one. So it's two to Tanya, one to Becca. Question number four in our Halloween edition of Family Feud. Everybody ready?
00:38:19
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:38:21
Speaker 3: All right.
00:38:24
Speaker 5: I've got seven answers on the board. Name something you would not want to get while trick-or-treating. Becca? Go ahead.
00:38:35
Speaker 2: Something I wouldn't want to get.
00:38:36
Speaker 5: You would not want to get this while trick-or-treating.
00:38:39
Speaker 2: Vegetables?
00:38:41
Speaker 5: Nope, not up there.
00:38:42
Speaker 3: Pencil.
00:38:43
Speaker 5: Pencil is up there. So, Tanya, one is down. Six still up there. Would you like to play or pass? Pass. Okay. Interesting strategy. Becca, this is all yours. Name something you would not want to get while trick-or-treating. Think back to when you were a kid. It's a disappointment to see that in your bag.
00:39:02
Speaker 2: I'm so thrown off by pencil.
00:39:04
Speaker 5: Pencil's in there. You don't want that.
00:39:05
Speaker 2: Who's giving away pencils?
00:39:07
Speaker 5: Well... Oh, my God.
00:39:08
Speaker 2: Okay. I'm going to say... Like, water.
00:39:16
Speaker 5: Water is not on there. Didn't make our survey. Two more strikes. Six answers up there.
00:39:26
Speaker 2: Almond joy? What? That's like one of my favorites. Almond joy.
00:39:30
Speaker 5: Is not up there either.
00:39:31
Speaker 2: Oh, my God. This is so hard. What wouldn't I want?
00:39:36
Speaker 5: Yeah, what wouldn't you want? This is your last strike.
00:39:39
Speaker 2: Thank you.
00:39:40
Speaker 5: Think of stuff that's given out for Halloween that you would not want.
00:39:47
Speaker 2: I've just always had candy, so.
00:39:48
Speaker 5: Number one is up there. So it's two and three and four and five and seven.
00:39:56
Speaker 2: Nothing?
00:39:58
Speaker 5: Nothing is not up there. I'm sorry. Tanya, you have a very doable steal here because there's six answers up there. You just give me one more and you've won the game. Show me gum.
00:40:08
Speaker 2: Gum.
00:40:10
Speaker 5: Becca wins the round. What? I thought I got one more. Wait, that was my guess.
00:40:15
Speaker 2: I was going to guess candy corn.
00:40:17
Speaker 5: By passing, you gave her control. Even though she got nothing, she wins the round.
00:40:22
Speaker 2: What about candy corn?
00:40:23
Speaker 5: Was candy corn up there?
00:40:24
Speaker 2: No.
00:40:24
Speaker 5: Here they are. Number seven was open or unwrapped candy. No one wants that. Number six, pencils. Number five, a rock. Remember Charlie Brown, Halloween. Raisins.
00:40:35
Speaker 2: Oh!
00:40:36
Speaker 5: Oh, you should have said that. That would have been up there. Black licorice. No one wants in their bag. A toothbrush. That's a terrible thing to get for trick-or-treating. And the number one answer was fruit.
00:40:48
Speaker 2: Oh, I was going to say fruit, but you laughed so hard at vegetables that I was like.
00:40:51
Speaker 5: Well, vegetables, I don't really see those in a trick-or-treat, but I might see an apple over a sprig of asparagus.
00:40:56
Speaker 3: I put raisins down on my guesses.
00:40:58
Speaker 5: So it's two to two. Becca did nothing on that one and won the round. So here we go.
00:41:03
Speaker 2: Just how I like it.
00:41:04
Speaker 5: This is it. Winner.
00:41:06
Speaker 3: I was up so well.
00:41:07
Speaker 5: You were, but you could still win it.
00:41:09
Speaker 2: You could have swept me.
00:41:10
Speaker 5: Top seven answers are on the board. Here's the question. Name something that if you found it in your closet, it would make you scream. Tanya. Becca got that one.
00:41:19
Speaker 4: What?
00:41:20
Speaker 5: That's right. A mouse. A mouse is the number two answer. One will beat it, Tanya.
00:41:26
Speaker 2: Spider.
00:41:26
Speaker 5: That's the number one answer. And you have control of the board, and she's going to play. She's got five up there. Go for it.
00:41:32
Speaker 3: Spider and mouse were one and two.
00:41:34
Speaker 5: That's right. Shoot.
00:41:40
Speaker 3: Repeat the question.
00:41:41
Speaker 5: All right. Name something that if you found it in your closet, it would make you scream.
00:41:46
Speaker 3: Another woman's underwear.
00:41:47
Speaker 5: Nope. That's not up there. That is your first strike. A moth. That is your second strike. Be ready to steal over there, Tilly.
00:41:58
Speaker 2: I'm thinking.
00:42:02
Speaker 3: A hole in the wall.
00:42:05
Speaker 5: No, that's not up there. All right, Becca. For the game, this is it. If you can name one of these five answers, you win. If you cannot, Tanya wins. Here we go.
00:42:17
Speaker 2: A roach.
00:42:21
Speaker 5: Going with a cockroach. I'm sorry, no, Tanya is the champion of Halloween.
00:42:29
Speaker 2: These answers are so dumb.
00:42:30
Speaker 5: By the way, I think cockroach should have been up there for sure.
00:42:33
Speaker 2: It's not about you, Mark, really. What else is up there?
00:42:36
Speaker 5: Well, it's Halloween themed. So number seven is a clown.
00:42:38
Speaker 2: Oh, a ghost?
00:42:42
Speaker 5: It just says clown. Something dead, a dead animal of some sort. A bat would make you scream. A skeleton would make you scream. And a snake would make you scream.
00:42:53
Speaker 3: Mark, respectfully.
00:42:54
Speaker 5: Hey, look. You won.
00:42:55
Speaker 2: I know, but.
00:42:56
Speaker 5: You are the champion.
00:42:57
Speaker 3: I don't take pride in that because that was bad.
00:43:00
Speaker 2: Fair enough. Yeah, and I don't feel sad about losing that one.
00:43:03
Speaker 5: Well, here we go. We do have fast money for the Halloween theme. Yes, we do. So if you won, who leaves the room? Becca? Yeah, Becca.
00:43:11
Speaker 2: No, less of me. You got to go first.
00:43:13
Speaker 5: Fine. All right.
00:43:15
Speaker 2: Because I need you to be able to, my answers are never good, so I need you to make a comeback. It's too much pressure on me.
00:43:21
Speaker 5: Holler when you're ready.
00:43:22
Speaker 4: Holler.
00:43:23
Speaker 5: Here we go.
00:43:24
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:43:24
Speaker 5: All right, I'm going to ask you these questions, try to come up with the most popular answer. We'll see how you did. Are you ready? 20 seconds on the clock, please. I'm going to set my timer on my phone.
00:43:34
Speaker 2: 20 seconds on the clock, please. Thank you.
00:43:37
Speaker 5: To ourselves. Here we go. All right.
00:43:41
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:43:43
Speaker 5: Name a Halloween monster.
00:43:46
Speaker 2: Frankenstein.
00:43:47
Speaker 5: Name something you make with pumpkin.
00:43:49
Speaker 4: Pie.
00:43:51
Speaker 5: What time should people start trick-or-treating?
00:43:52
Speaker 2: 6 p.m.
00:43:56
Speaker 5: At what age should someone stop trick-or-treating?
00:43:59
Speaker 2: Wait, are you asking age or time on the last one?
00:44:01
Speaker 5: Time was the last one.
00:44:02
Speaker 2: This is age. What time should they stop?
00:44:04
Speaker 5: Yeah.
00:44:04
Speaker 2: 10.
00:44:05
Speaker 5: Well, we had a clarification there, so I'm going to give you the last one.
00:44:07
Speaker 2: 10.
00:44:08
Speaker 5: And name a popular Halloween costume that's always popular every year.
00:44:11
Speaker 2: Clown. Clown.
00:44:12
Speaker 5: All right. There you go. You got five. Let's see how you did. Name a Halloween monster. You said Frankenstein. Survey said 40. It's our number one answer. Name something you make with pumpkin. You said pie. Survey said 53. That's also our number one answer. You're already at 93 points. Why should someone stop? What time should you start trick-or-treating? You said 6 o'clock. Survey said... 45, another number one answer. You are up to 138 points all by yourself. At what age did you stop trick-or-treating? You said 10. Our survey said nothing on that one. You did not get any points for 10. And in a popular Halloween costume, you said a clown that also nothing. So you finished poorly, but still 138 is a heck of a score. You're on the right track here. Let's get Tanya back in. Tanya's coming back in. We'll put 25 seconds on the clock. I'll ask her the same questions I asked you. You cannot duplicate her answer. If you do hear this, I'll say try again and you give me another answer. Okay, Tanya? Here we go. 25 seconds on the clock, please. Thank you. Name a Halloween monster.
00:45:25
Speaker 1: Ghost.
00:45:28
Speaker 5: Your mic's not on. Ghost. Ghost, all right. Name something you make with pumpkin. Pie. Try again.
00:45:34
Speaker 3: Roasted pumpkin seeds.
00:45:39
Speaker 5: What time should people start trick-or-treating?
00:45:41
Speaker 3: 5 p.m.
00:45:43
Speaker 5: At what age should someone stop trick-or-treating?
00:45:45
Speaker 3: 15.
00:45:47
Speaker 5: Name a popular Halloween costume that's always popular every year. Ghost. I'm going to say ghost. All right, ghost on two of them. All right.
00:45:55
Speaker 3: The monster really threw me. What the hell are monsters?
00:45:58
Speaker 5: Here we go. Name a Halloween. Oh, by the way, Becca got 138 points on this one. She did very well.
00:46:05
Speaker 2: That you have for so much success.
00:46:06
Speaker 5: Sure did. You're trying to get 200 for $ 20, 000. Here we go. A popular, sorry, a Halloween monster. You said ghost. Our survey says 18 points. Not bad at all. Not bad. That gets you up to 156.
00:46:20
Speaker 3: And we're going for 200? Going for 200.
00:46:21
Speaker 5: Becca said Frankenstein. That was the number one answer. Name something you make with pumpkin. You said pumpkin seeds. Survey said nothing on that one.
00:46:33
Speaker 3: Does nobody make pumpkin seeds after they carve their pumpkins?
00:46:36
Speaker 5: Becca said pumpkin pie, which was the number one answer. But pumpkin bread, pumpkin cookies, a jack-o'-lantern, all on the survey. Here we go.
00:46:44
Speaker 3: Try some seeds.
00:46:44
Speaker 5: What time should people start trick-or-treating? You said 5 p.m. Our survey said 15. Becca got the number one answer, which was 6 p.m. You were at 1.71. At what age should someone stop trick-or-treating? You said 15. Our survey says 9. We are at 180. We're very close here.
00:47:05
Speaker 2: But the last one.
00:47:06
Speaker 5: It's the last one. It's all going to come down to this.
00:47:08
Speaker 2: Let's go, Ghost.
00:47:09
Speaker 5: By the way, Becca said 10 for that one, which no one else said. Name a popular Halloween costume. You said Ghost. You need 20 points for $ 20, 000. Our survey said... 19. That is 199 points. $ 5 for every point gives you a total of $ 995. That is your.
00:47:37
Speaker 5: Parting gift with us today on the Halloween edition of Family Feud.
00:47:40
Speaker 3: If I would have said anything besides roasted pumpkins, Izzy would have won.
00:47:44
Speaker 5: That's correct.
00:47:44
Speaker 1: Yeah.
00:47:45
Speaker 2: But I also, I.
00:47:47
Speaker 5: She said clown. I said clown, which didn't get any points. Which was the number one answer for the Halloween. Oh, I know.
00:47:52
Speaker 2: After I said clown, I was like, why didn't I say witch?
00:47:54
Speaker 5: Princess, superhero, pirate, vampire, cat, all made the survey. All would have helped. And yet, we fall just short.
00:48:02
Speaker 3: You get quite pleasure out of saying that, don't you?
00:48:04
Speaker 5: Oh, when I saw that it was 19, I got giddy inside. Sick.
00:48:09
Speaker 3: You're sick.
00:48:09
Speaker 2: How are we supposed to do this when our biggest off is giving us the questions?
00:48:13
Speaker 3: Exactly. All right.
00:48:17
Speaker 2: What a downer.
00:48:18
Speaker 5: That was fun, though.
00:48:19
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:48:19
Speaker 5: Tanya, you won. You're on a winning streak as far as Family Feud goes.
00:48:23
Speaker 2: Good job, Tanya. Let's do another 10 game.
00:48:26
Speaker 5: I don't have another one ready.
00:48:29
Speaker 3: I like games. I don't know if people like games.
00:48:30
Speaker 5: Do people like games? I think people like games. I think so.
00:48:32
Speaker 2: It's just like at this point.
00:48:34
Speaker 5: You know what we should do?
00:48:34
Speaker 2: What? Crystal.
00:48:35
Speaker 5: Crystal. Who we love, as many of you have heard.
00:48:38
Speaker 2: Whomst we love.
00:48:39
Speaker 5: Whomst we love. Should put a survey up on Instagram or wherever you put your surveys. What games do you like? Family Feud? Don't Say the Same Thing?
00:48:49
Speaker 2: Who Am I?
00:48:50
Speaker 5: Or None. Tower of Music, which we did? Or None of the Above?
00:48:56
Speaker 3: And how did it pan out?
00:48:58
Speaker 5: I'm saying we should put up that survey. Oh, oh, oh.
00:49:00
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:49:00
Speaker 3: Because I'd be curious.
00:49:02
Speaker 5: And if it is... Maybe it's something else. And then you could put ideas for games in the comments. Boom. See, this is why I'm the temporary producer.
00:49:12
Speaker 3: All right.
00:49:15
Speaker 2: Well, hope you all have so much fun trick-or-treating or not or sitting at home and handing out things and dressing up all the things.
00:49:23
Speaker 5: Be safe.
00:49:24
Speaker 3: Happy Halloween everybody!
00:49:27
Speaker 2: Who was that?
00:49:30
Speaker 3: That was me.
00:49:32
Speaker 5: Are you auditioning for another voiceover?
00:49:34
Speaker 3: Happy Halloween!
00:49:38
Speaker 2: Okay. Wow. Happy Halloween, everybody.
00:49:40
Speaker 5: Moment of a thousand voices. Exactly.
00:49:44
Speaker 2: We hope you have a wonderful weekend. Congrats, Tanya. Happy early birthday, Becca Tilly.
00:49:51
Speaker 5: Oh, my gosh.
00:49:51
Speaker 2: Thank you so much. Love you all so much. Bye. Love you.
00:49:55
Speaker 5: Bye.
00:49:55
Speaker 2: Bye.
Speaker 1: Scrubbing In with Becca Tilly and Tanya Radd, an iHeartRadio.
00:00:04
