Mike lays out the summertime goal: a positive trail-and-travel project built with friends—camping sometimes, hotels sometimes, trails always. We talk about riding together (and why group travel means equipment, a trailer, and maybe a camper), plus the trike goal: the Catrike Dumont—folding for easier travel and less stress. Mike also explains the difference between loans and grants (“loans are like borrowing stress… grants are like borrowing hope”), and why the next step is finding a cool name for the business and podcast. We’re also dreaming big about long-distance trail routes like the Great American Rail-Trail—over 3,700 miles from Washington, D.C. to Washington State.
