00:07:22
Speaker 9: Here?
00:07:22
Speaker 2: Going to Asia?
00:07:23
Speaker 1: Next?
00:07:23
Speaker 3: Where is he getting? I know? I did look at his tour schedule. He's doing like thirty stadiums in Spain. Insane, No in Spain, Oh in.
00:07:32
Speaker 1: Spain, Lee and Tim on Nova.
00:07:36
Speaker 3: You're in the no for in many kind of areas of life, including mainly the Big Arch area.
00:07:42
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm a I'm a Maca's fiend.
00:07:44
Speaker 4: Like you can take the girl out of the Gold Coast, but you'll never take the Gold Coast out of the girl.
00:07:48
Speaker 2: I love McDonald's. I love it so much. And this is like.
00:07:52

00:07:57
Speaker 4: Me eating a big Mac while listening to that, Like, come on, it's too much for my soul. But I love McDonald's and I'm a real big Mac girl. I always have been always big Mac, extra sauce, large fries, six nuggets of sweet and sour sauce, maybe cheeky cheeseberger on the side, because why.
00:08:11
Speaker 3: Not, Oh my god.
00:08:12
Speaker 2: Yeah, anyway, I worked for these hips.
00:08:17
Speaker 4: But I have told you for a very long time now, since I first wrapped my lips around it, the Big Arch is the best burger I've ever had. It's like if a big Mac and a quarter pound are I may love and had a baby, and it was this this big baby, like big you know, that big fourteen pounded baby we talked about last week.
00:08:37
Speaker 3: It's like that, it's a.
00:08:38
Speaker 4: Big it's so big and it's oh my gosh, it's so delicious.
00:08:42
Speaker 2: But they think they've just launched it in the US.
00:08:45
Speaker 3: So what we're like a test test.
00:08:48
Speaker 1: So there are.
00:08:48
Speaker 4: Places like here and like some other countries around the world that they test things in place.
00:08:55
Speaker 2: I don't know the place. I don't want to say the places because.
00:08:57
Speaker 4: I don't know the me around other places and put it easy. But they have just i think, launched it in the US. So the McDonald's CEO has an Instagram and it's one of my favorite awkward ceo trying to be cool and hitten down with the kids.
00:09:15
Speaker 2: Things to watch.
00:09:16
Speaker 4: And this video has kind of gone viral because this is him tasting the big arch saying he's taking a huge bite. It's a tiny bite. It looks like he's never eaten food before. He's so awkward. He calls the food product. It's just listen to this.
00:09:30
Speaker 3: I love this product. It is so good. I'm going to do a tasting right now, but I'm going to eat this from my lunch. Here we go. First, Holy cow, god, that is a big burger. First of all, let's try to get this thing.
00:09:42
Speaker 2: I don't even know how to attack it all right.
00:09:44
Speaker 3: The moment of truth. That is so good it is. That's a big bite for a big arch. It looks like the first burger he's ever eaten in his life.
00:09:54
Speaker 1: Holy cow cow, oh my god.
00:09:56
Speaker 3: That is a love product.
00:09:58
Speaker 1: Frickily and tim on over.
00:10:01
Speaker 5: Should workers be getting an extra week of annual leave? The unions they reckon, so they're demanding the BM extends standard holiday leave for full time workers to from four weeks to five weeks and to six weeks for shift workers. Yes, it's pretty our in your leave rates have actually been frozen since the seventies. And you know, if you look at Europe, I mean five weeks is already the norm in Austria and France.
00:10:28
Speaker 3: You know the US is only ten days.
00:10:30
Speaker 1: I know there's no time.
00:10:32
Speaker 3: In America Jesus.
00:10:36
Speaker 5: But do we need more leave or do you think Ozzie's need to be forced to take the leave they already have, because I think on average we have like sixteen days per worker banked up, which is about one hundred and sixty million days of annual leave just sitting on.
00:10:52
Speaker 1: The books of businesses.
00:10:53
Speaker 5: As a desh, I don't know, especially working in DV I would never take a whole day because you wanted a buffer in case the time came when they went it's time to leave. We're going to put your you know, the poster of your show in the garbage being today, which is fine because that's the commercial reality of things. But I wonder if Ozzie's are too scared to take a break.
00:11:17
Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean there's a lot of people that are taking Wait, when do you work in radio?
00:11:28

00:11:58
Speaker 2: Go see myself out and get it right.
00:12:00

Speaker 3: Perpose. Joe.
00:13:03
Speaker 1: That's it. You did it.
00:13:09
Speaker 3: Don't want to do another one. You know, I think talking about star signs on the radios entire your five star signs.
00:13:17
Speaker 4: Go Scorpio, Libra, Virgo, Catser, Capricorn.
00:13:21
Speaker 3: God.
00:13:23
Speaker 4: I really had to talk to myself before when I stuffed on.
00:13:26
Speaker 2: I don't like being a boud.
00:13:29
Speaker 3: You did very well.
00:13:30
Speaker 2: Do I win some two hundred dollars at the social club.
00:13:32
Speaker 3: You can go with Joe to go to the social club at Bungalow. Well done, Joe, Well done, Ricky. That is my top five.
00:13:39
Speaker 2: That is the weir trying to brucksure by a bottle of champagne.
00:13:42

00:13:53
Speaker 2: A lot of them like, do you reckon more homework than we used to have? We've just forgotten.
00:13:58
Speaker 3: I did hate your homework that because the nerd same. I was like, I was really good at school because I went to ten schools, So I was like, I'm not going to ever be popular. I'm never going to get a posse of friends. So you just let's just suck up to the teacher.
00:14:12
Speaker 2: But head down, bum up.
00:14:13
Speaker 4: Because you're such a You're such a like chatty, social, fun, don't sit still for too long kind of guy. I just can't imagine you in school being real nerdy and like studios and scating and yeah, making friends with the teachers. Enough texts, But what are you up to on the weekend?
00:14:31
Speaker 3: I got if we had text back then, it wouldn't have been so good.
00:14:36
Speaker 4: But I find kids and doing homework, and I see these things coming through like on Instagram all the time, and I save them.
00:14:43
Speaker 2: They're just so funny.
00:14:44
Speaker 3: My inspirational quotes inspiration of.
00:14:47
Speaker 4: Course, travel, travel, travel, Stupid things to talk about on this show. Weird sports, food, weird sports, of course, competitive eating, because I do love that watching Beard meats food yesterday. He's my favorite YouTuber. Okay, yeah, you'll have to get on that pack and say stupid things because they're kids, don't you know, they don't know what they're doing. They're trying their hardest, but they're not realizing that what they're doing is funny to all of us. My niece, when she was probably two or three, she had some slime and she was like, you know, shaping it into whatever she was fashioning it into. And she looked up and she said that she had made a dog.
00:15:29
Speaker 2: And have a look at this. This is not a dog.
00:15:30
Speaker 4: What That's not a dog that she made. That's my niece, Harlow. That's not a dog that she made.
00:15:36
Speaker 3: That's that's like a well dogs have.
00:15:38
Speaker 2: That's like an upside down. Yeah, that's it. That's that's a.
00:15:42
Speaker 3: Pain and is a pain.
00:15:43
Speaker 2: That's a pain. But she's so cute.
00:15:45
Speaker 4: What is that a puppy? A puppy? It's not a puppy, but I found these. These are some kids who have done their homework and their parents have posted them online and they're ridiculous.
00:15:58
Speaker 2: This kid wrote, I like miss ss Edwards. She is my teacher.
00:16:02
Speaker 4: I like when she does mess with us to right mad.
00:16:08
Speaker 3: Part of the world.
00:16:09
Speaker 2: Maybe she doesn't just struggling this with the spelling, just so just a.
00:16:13
Speaker 4: Little good writing, good good writing, and everything else except the teachers felt wrong as well.
00:16:19
Speaker 2: But that's okay.
00:16:19
Speaker 4: I'm not going to I'm not your teacher. Another kid was asked to write in his journal. Can I say this? Another kid was asked to write, said tomorrow, I am not going to be here because I am going to be in Vagina.
00:16:37
Speaker 1: Didn't you go to school?
00:16:38
Speaker 3: Did you go to school in Virginia, like one hundred kilometers from where Taylor Swift grew up in the Christmas Draight Farm. You only just found that out recently.
00:16:47
Speaker 4: And you really are bonded with Shaboozy the same school went to the same school school Another ghostpartans will peg.
00:16:59
Speaker 2: Another kid kid.
00:17:02
Speaker 4: Drew a drew a photo with a caption, when I grow up, I want to be like mummy, and the mummy is holding a pole and there's.
00:17:11
Speaker 2: People around with lots of money. Isn't that cool?
00:17:14
Speaker 3: What's good to see mum at work.
00:17:15
Speaker 2: Mummy's working.
00:17:16
Speaker 4: Mummy's a working girl. She's doing what she has to do. And then my favorite, this is the last one. The entry is titled the pianis p e A n u s A pianis meaning peanut. Every time I say this, it's supposed to be peanut tastes good, it has squares on its shell, It is salty, it smells like.
00:17:39
Speaker 2: Okay because they taste good.
00:17:45
Speaker 4: Peanuts, Peanuts spelling matters, Kids, spelling matters, math, Virginia peanuts.
00:17:57
Speaker 1: Ricky Lee and.
00:17:58
Speaker 3: Tim, We're very excited to have Bruce. I was actually actually in the studio with this this morning and tell us what we watching? You get cool openers like that on the OVA. I bet I feel so well treated. You've got water. I have a bottom because they asked.
00:18:18
Speaker 9: Me going on the water and I thought they're gonna get their glass of water, but no, it's a bottle.
00:18:21
Speaker 2: Of water cold as well.
00:18:23
Speaker 3: To commercial in the studio, it's.
00:18:26
Speaker 1: You guys, so lovely to have you.
00:18:28
Speaker 4: And we were just talking about TV shows and movies and that we're always watching a million things, and you said, you've always got so many things, four or five movies that you're halfway through.
00:18:38
Speaker 2: Yeah, at one time.
00:18:39
Speaker 9: Look, I think we it's both like a luxury and a real pain in our lives, which is I subscribe to everything, and then I also get additional stuff, and so I think there's so much amazing content, and there are so many producers in the business of making interesting stuff. There was fear years There were a fews years ago that like Netflix was going to get boring and they're going to control everything, but it didn't happen. The competition has been great. I can't decide what to watch.
00:19:10
Speaker 2: You're just through.
00:19:12
Speaker 3: I can't because I feel like when I watched if I had legs, I'd kick you. I hated it so much that I thought to myself, but I bought I rented it. It's got all the awards. I have to watch this to the end because I must be missing something. And it was only because I got to the end that I realized, no, I did.
00:19:30
Speaker 9: That's so funny like that, though, I do if if a film's getting attention, I'll stick it out because I also want to be in the dialogue of liked people talking about this.
00:19:41
Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, a small talk at the moment.
00:19:44
Speaker 4: It is you gave up when I told you to watch Dying for Sex with Michelle Williams because she won a bunch of awards for.
00:19:50
Speaker 2: It and it's brilliant. I think it's so good, but you hated it. Things and it's just like things are just not made some people.
00:19:57
Speaker 3: So what are we watching this way?
00:19:58
Speaker 9: So best movie out of the cinemas is a movie called The Testament of Anne Lee, which is like, it's huge. It hasn't got so much marketing from the studios that have released it.
00:20:10
Speaker 2: This is Amanda Siam exactly.
00:20:12
Speaker 1: So she is one of my favorite actors.
00:20:15
Speaker 2: This is amazing and I think it's almost like.
00:20:17
Speaker 9: She's been waiting her whole career for this role and people are talking about this as a breakout role for and maybe it's a defining moment of a certain kind of performans.
00:20:26
Speaker 2: You don't think she was good in Ted.
00:20:30
Speaker 3: Look, can I just say I love Ted? Okay?
00:20:33
Speaker 1: Teddy's like, what my favorite movie?
00:20:37
Speaker 3: And he was so rude to me and I almos I was so closest going. You know, you're in a movie opposite of pretend.
00:20:47
Speaker 9: Ted I just think that whole kind of genre of the Sono movie and then you make it about a teddy bear. It's just absolutely perfect, right, so good. But yes, I just want to say a lot of people might be turned off by this because the cinemas are a musical historical film and that's like not sexy, right, So what I want to say to people is go and see this because one, you've got this incredible performance, but it's also like a really interesting moment in history where the Shaker, the Shaker's religion is gathering momentum and it's going to be the offshoot of all these sorts of religious things. And the way they film this is you see these incredible performances of Shakers, like doing this ecstatic dancing. And I got to say, I don't know about you, guys, I love musicals. This is an unconventional kind of dance performancing that you see because because it's a it's a religious performance and when you watch it, it's sort of halfway between a musical and a sort of spiritual encounter in the cinema. So I just want to say to people, if you can go and see it at the movies, because for the two hours and a bit it is like you're immersed in a whole other world and a whole other history. It's great, it's really wonderful.
00:21:57
Speaker 2: Gee, what are the Shakers shake?
00:22:00
Speaker 3: Okay?
00:22:00
Speaker 9: So the Shaker's movement emerged in like in Britain around the eighteenth century, and it's part of these different sorts of religions that were breaking off from the dominant things like Catholicism, for example, and so the people kind of finding new ways to just pray to God. And ann Lee started the Shakers. So she's also this pioneering woman in history. And that's why Sea for It's performance is just like glorious, because she's just pioneer.
00:22:30
Speaker 3: Okay, So that is the testament of a light.
00:22:32
Speaker 4: Now.
00:22:32
Speaker 3: One of my favorite kind of sayings is people mining the ip where people are just like this this thing works, let's just milk it for all its work. So over to you the Beatles.
00:22:42
Speaker 9: Yes, well, I mean you guys know that there are four Beatles movies coming out in about the next year.
00:22:48
Speaker 3: I'm so excited. This is doing it. This Man on the Run documentary which I cannot wait to watch on Amazon's time.
00:22:55
Speaker 9: I saw it and it is. You were mentioning greater kind of rock and roll documentaries. Not the greatest, but it's up there with I think the Beatles is maybe the cultural phenomenon, pop cultural phenomenon, the greatest in history, right music TV? What we all kind of make of that moment of the sixties. This is really great because this is Paul McCartney at the end of the Beatles. Everybody knows they had a really acrimonious breakup. Nobody quite knows, like, what the hell happened?
00:23:27
Speaker 4: Was it?
00:23:27
Speaker 2: Yokok?
00:23:28
Speaker 9: Who everyone blames?
00:23:30
Speaker 3: Was it?
00:23:30
Speaker 9: You know, Paul Mccartny's wife, Linda. This is a pretty raw version of Paul McCartney talking about what it was like in the years after the Beatles and trying to form Wings and he realized his album and everybody pans it because everyone's saying, hey, you broke up the.
00:23:46
Speaker 2: Beatles, we don't like you, right, And it's I've got.
00:23:49
Speaker 9: To say it was kind of sad because I have a lot of time for Paul McCartney, and I also love Wings and I think they were a brilliant band. Right, So what I would say to people is this is if you're a Beatles fan, but also trying to understand like what one of the great musicians and songwriters of our time had to do to kind of reinvent himself.
00:24:11
Speaker 3: And it's and it's beautiful and it's and it's really moving.
00:24:14
Speaker 2: And fighting against all of that public.
00:24:17
Speaker 9: There's a snippet where he actually says, it was really tough because everyone blamed me for breaking up the Beatles, but it wasn't me, it was John.
00:24:25
Speaker 3: Amazing. Wow. So that's out on Amazon Prime. And finally, Small Profits.
00:24:32
Speaker 9: I don't know if you guys follow Mackensick Crook. He's Gareth out of the Office, the British Office, right, Yeah, he's like this really eccentric genius and he's made a couple of shows. One of my all time favorites of the last ten years is The Detectorists if anyone hasn't seen that. But new show for small prophets is one hundred percent of Rotten Tomatoes. It's the biggest thing. It's on Apple. Check it out. It's this whimsical thing about a guy who finds a genie who can like tell him about what's going wrong with his life, and it's just beautiful.
00:25:03
Speaker 2: I'm so excited that's my weekend.
00:25:05
Speaker 3: On Apple TV. I've been watching Tehran on Apple TV. At the moment, what is I haven't seen to run unbelievable, especially with what's happening in the world.
00:25:16
Speaker 2: Okay, Okay, I'll have to check.
00:25:18
Speaker 3: I love it. Bruce is of course your podcast film versus film. We've got the Testament of Van Leyen Cinemas now, pau McCartney, Man on the Run on Amazon priv and Small Profits on Apple TV. We'll catch you next.
00:25:30
Speaker 1: Week, Ricky Lee and Tim only on over.
00:25:34
Speaker 3: Let's get the world a glosses happening for you, Show.
00:25:39
Speaker 1: Kids the glasses on screen, Flash up.
00:25:43
Speaker 3: A picture behind me and tell me what the story is that relates to it.
00:25:46
Speaker 4: This is a photo of Lily Allen, who you are obsessed with and you love her deeply, and I don't know what.
00:25:52
Speaker 2: The story is though.
00:25:53
Speaker 3: Well, Lily's just played her first concert in her global west End Girls tour at Glasgow's Royal Concert Hall. Now she exclusively performed her fifth studio album, west End Girl, in full start to finish. It ran fifty five minutes. You completely ignored her biggest hits and have a little listen to this because a string trio called the Dallas Minor Trio also performed instrumental versions with the lyrics out.
00:26:22
Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, so people sing.
00:26:24
Speaker 8: Along well, Glassgow, Oh, Glassgore.
00:26:37
Speaker 4: I love that concept of doing a show playing the album start to finish because people don't really do that.
00:26:44
Speaker 3: I saw Acting Monkeys at the Palais in Melbourne, and when their first album came out, they played it start to finish. It was unbelievable.
00:26:49
Speaker 4: That's amazing, Yeah, because usually you're like weaving new songs into a set list of like your classic hits and things like that, to just break up the new stuff just in case people haven't heard it. You want to keep people's attention. I really like that as a concept.
00:27:03
Speaker 3: Here October twenty five and twenty six at the TikTok Entertainment Arena whatever.
00:27:08
Speaker 4: It's so weird that it's called that just just entertainment center, TikTok Kil, TikTok Entertainment.
00:27:16
Speaker 3: It's the ica. Say o, guess next, Lossie, what's happening here?
00:27:20
Speaker 4: This is a photo of Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez.
00:27:26
Speaker 2: I don't know the story.
00:27:27
Speaker 3: Usually I'm up list visy. Selena appeared on The Friends Keep Secrets podcast with Benny Blanco, Yes, yep, and Selena gave us a glimpse into the coolest part of her friendship. It's Tyler Swift.
00:27:42
Speaker 11: It's absolutely unbelievable to come from seventeen years of friendship, from multiple heartbreaks and love stories. We both ended up fortunately being engaged around the same time.
00:27:58
Speaker 2: That's amazing. Is this the show that I was telling? This is the daven and this.
00:28:03
Speaker 3: Is a friends Keep Secret podcast? Apparently.
00:28:05
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:28:06
Speaker 3: My favorite Selena Gomez quote every the smartest person in the room, You're in the wrong room. One was the smartness in the in the room. We're in the wrong room.
00:28:20
Speaker 2: I mean, she's not wrong.
00:28:21
Speaker 3: No, I like it, she's not wrong.
00:28:23
Speaker 2: We'll give her that.
00:28:24
Speaker 3: I'm in the wrong room right now. I'm last glossy. What is happening here? Let's check out the last glossy.
00:28:34
Speaker 4: Oh this is your boy Harry Starles, who you have a bit of a problem with because flats and socks.
00:28:41
Speaker 2: And the corry. But what's he up to? I don't know. I'm so bad at the entertainment.
00:28:46
Speaker 3: He has appeared on the cover of Vogue runners World magazine.
00:28:52
Speaker 2: Oh that's a hot photo.
00:28:54
Speaker 1: What's he doing?
00:28:55
Speaker 3: Runners World magazine? How are you?
00:28:58
Speaker 2: He's a runner ala around the world.
00:29:01
Speaker 3: I think I wore like, like really, really, I don't know I have.
00:29:05
Speaker 4: That he travels around the world and does marathons, has a runner.
00:29:11
Speaker 3: He's a runner, right, Tim? Yeah, he should be on Vogue.
00:29:15
Speaker 2: He's a bit vulnerable.
00:29:16
Speaker 1: Tim really and Tim on Nova.
00:29:20
Speaker 5: Now a third of Australian students in year three have failed to reach numeracy standards. New South Wales primary schools are now overhauling the curriculum to introduce financial literacy earlier in an effort to fix declining numeracy standards.
00:29:35
Speaker 1: Now this could be thinking this story.
00:29:38
Speaker 3: Year three are saying, right, Year three three? Are you?
00:29:40
Speaker 1: Are you two smarter than a third grader?
00:29:43
Speaker 2: Probably not? Look what was your quote you said before?
00:29:46
Speaker 3: Tim every the smartest person in the room. There aren't real that's a Slanders quote.
00:29:54
Speaker 5: Well they say that three out of two journalists can't do maths. Actually, I actually gave up mats in high school. I was so bad at it, even after getting a tutor.
00:30:03
Speaker 2: Yeah I was. I'm with you, I had a tutor and everything.
00:30:05
Speaker 4: My dad was determined that I wasn't going to be some some fluffy singer fluffy and look at you now? And I failed maths and here I am.
00:30:15
Speaker 5: Anyway, I did dance instead of maths. But listen, let's do a little test.
00:30:21
Speaker 2: Okay, all right, I'm really bad at matt.
00:30:27
Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, go here we go.
00:30:29
Speaker 5: You have four packs of pencils, and each pack has five pencils.
00:30:32
Speaker 1: How many pencils do you have in total?
00:30:35
Speaker 2: Twenty twenty?
00:30:35
Speaker 1: Okay, that was a good one. Can you name a fraction that is the same as one half but uses different numbers? One?
00:30:48
Speaker 3: Four? Aches? Oh yeah, that's good. Yeah, you're right.
00:30:52
Speaker 5: Part of the problem is you could have also said two quarters.
00:30:56
Speaker 3: You just said that.
00:30:59
Speaker 2: Looked at me.
00:31:00
Speaker 8: I'm smart.
00:31:02
Speaker 3: No.
00:31:03
Speaker 5: I think the problem is that they write these questions like their riddles.
00:31:07
Speaker 1: And this one, yeah exactly, all right? Last one?
00:31:11
Speaker 5: What is the place value of the number seven in the number seven hundred and forty two?
00:31:18
Speaker 2: First place? I don't understand the place value?
00:31:24
Speaker 3: Oh sorry, sir, we're running out of time. Check your weather the next.
00:31:27
Speaker 2: Seven, one hundred.
00:31:28
Speaker 1: There we go, ye, Ricky, Lee and Tim.
00:31:32
Speaker 3: I'm going to make a sweeping statement, and I have two examples to back up this sweeping statement.
00:31:37
Speaker 4: I love when you make a sweeping statement, so bold in your choice as Tim Blackwell.
00:31:41
Speaker 3: So, I was at the South Coast on the weekend and popped into a winery. No big deal that the story just popped into the winery.
00:31:49
Speaker 4: A little bit of tasting, yeap, okay, because you've got to taste some wine.
00:31:52
Speaker 3: But it's not about this. It's not about this. So I saw a woman. She would have been in her fifties. She had short hair. Yep, she was a woman, you know. She had bloody jeans on and boots and she's done. And then I noticed she had three sons. Okay, And I said to my lovely partner, I bet you her name's Chris, female Chris, because I think female Chris is are boy moms?
00:32:18
Speaker 2: Well tell that to the Kardashians.
00:32:20
Speaker 3: Thirty twenty four ten. Are you a female Chris? And are you a boy mom? Because guess what she was?
00:32:27
Speaker 2: She was a Chris.
00:32:28
Speaker 3: I said, is your name Chris? And she goes, yes, what? And then then I'm sure you told her about whole thing. I did the whole thing. She laughed as a minivan. Of course you don't, Oh, yes, correct, boy mom's short hair Chris thirty twenty four ten. Are you a boy mom with her without short hair? Doesn't matter?
00:32:45
Speaker 4: But he's your name, Chris, a boy mom named Chris, because I feel like you.
00:32:49
Speaker 3: Are just a bloody boy mom if your name's Chris and you're a woman. And then I was at the supermarket yep, and I said it again to my partner. I go, that woman looks like a Chris. So what we do? What we do? We went, Chris. No, two boy mums in two days.
00:33:13
Speaker 2: Chris, God, did you did you have the big chat and tell her the spiel?
00:33:17
Speaker 4: No?
00:33:17
Speaker 3: Of course not.
00:33:17
Speaker 9: I kept walking, But I was like, that was proof enough for men, just like a creep.
00:33:21
Speaker 2: You yelled at it, yell.
00:33:23
Speaker 3: I didn't even know Chris, Chris. Look, I could be wrong. That could just be two in a sea of hundreds of thousands in Sydney that are a boy mum called Chris. But if you are a boy mum called Chris, just help me out here. On twenty fourteen, it's really trying to sweeping statement boy mums called Chris. The sweeping statements that boy mums are called Chris, heaps of them.
00:33:49
Speaker 2: Chris.
00:33:50
Speaker 3: Chris serves dinner serves her tea last she's she eats up on the bench. Make sure the boys are fed. She lives at the supermarket.
00:33:58
Speaker 2: Chris is flybys my Jocko Beryl.
00:34:01

00:34:04
Speaker 1: Yes, my sister.
00:34:06
Speaker 3: She's got five boys, five boys names Chris. Of course she is. Shout out to her.
00:34:11
Speaker 2: Shout out Chris.
00:34:14
Speaker 3: Let's go to Christina Queen's cliff and we have a Chris can I Chris.
00:34:18
Speaker 1: Hello, Tim, you want to help me?
00:34:24
Speaker 3: Are you a boy mom? I'm a boy mom, bloody Chris.
00:34:28
Speaker 1: And and I have two girlfriends, both called Chris.
00:34:32
Speaker 2: One has two.
00:34:33

00:37:29
Speaker 3: Lee and Tim Aladdin was always my favorite Disney film, and then The Lion King came out.
00:37:35
Speaker 4: I was the other way Lion King and Aladdin were. Lion King was my favorite, Aladdin was my second.
00:37:40
Speaker 3: Before Lion King, there was only Aladdin. So then you're like, oh, what do I do? And at my local cinema the Lion King was so packed on the first day he came out. I'd sit on the step of the aisle, did you Yeah, I really did?
00:37:53
Speaker 2: Oh my god.
00:37:55
Speaker 3: Cinemas in Hobart.
00:37:56
Speaker 2: I saw Jermaine yesterday, was watching with.
00:38:01
Speaker 4: Jermaine's dog sitting and was watching The Lion King with the dog. But it was like the new one with Beyonce voicing.
00:38:08
Speaker 3: Nala and will Smith.
00:38:11
Speaker 4: I cannot because I'm such a like loyal to my lion king in Aladdin. I can't watch the new ones. It has to be the og or nothing. But how's this.
00:38:20
Speaker 3: Everything that like touches will be your kingdom? Oh my gosh, this is CNN.
00:38:27
Speaker 2: Oh my gosh.
00:38:28
Speaker 4: But I was today years old when I found out, you know, the circle of life, the start of the lion king.
00:38:34
Speaker 1: Nah?
00:38:37
Speaker 2: Of course, do you know what that means?
00:38:39
Speaker 3: It means nah?
00:38:42
Speaker 4: And like nah, I thought it was Savenna. It's also not Sevenna. Well, I've got this for you. Your mind is going to be blowing.
00:38:50
Speaker 2: This is how you actually say it, and this is what it means.
00:38:54
Speaker 3: I'm playing it.
00:38:55
Speaker 12: Listen, I can do it like na, going Yard, all right, what does his name it means?
00:39:08
Speaker 3: Look there's a lion.
00:39:11
Speaker 12: Oh my god.
00:39:15
Speaker 3: Joking, that's not what that means. No, it doesn't. That's not what that means. That's exactly what it.
00:39:22
Speaker 1: Oh my god, No.
00:39:26
Speaker 2: Yard, Oh my god, there's a lion.
00:39:34
Speaker 3: Maybe we should do that now. Traffic report. Look there's a crash. Oh my god.
00:39:41
Speaker 1: Ricky Lee and Tim ruling here Ruling Tim Plea've got a question.
00:39:48
Speaker 11: This is a Rickylius ask anything.
00:39:54
Speaker 4: That's your little man and my little best friend Yumi.
00:39:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, little Ardie and Yumi helping us out free voiceovers, cheap voiceovers.
00:40:03
Speaker 2: Cheap free voiceovers.
00:40:04
Speaker 3: We have kids our family pastor Tarrongzo to ask us anything.
00:40:07
Speaker 4: Yeah, we really just want kids to call up and ask us any question. It can be a silly question, it can be a really hard question, yep, and we're going to try our hardest to answer it, and we probably won't have the answer, but we're going to try really hard.
00:40:18
Speaker 3: Let's go to Michaels. Alex is seven. What do you want to ask us? Alex?
00:40:24
Speaker 1: Why are they.
00:40:24
Speaker 6: Called buildings when they're ready built?
00:40:28
Speaker 2: Alex? How old are you? And then you're seven?
00:40:32
Speaker 4: That's a really clever question because it's true. Why are they called buildings when they're already built builts?
00:40:39
Speaker 2: They should be built?
00:40:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, I like it, Alex.
00:40:41
Speaker 2: I don't know why they're called that.
00:40:45
Speaker 3: Lara from our Lady of Fatima in Kingsgrove, he is eight years old.
00:40:53
Speaker 6: Your coution, why is the why when you're on an air time? Why is it bumping when you're going through clouds? Because they look so sot.
00:41:02
Speaker 2: Oh, that's a good question.
00:41:04
Speaker 4: You know, Lara, Tim's brother is actually a pilot and he drives the plane.
00:41:09
Speaker 3: Can we get my brother Dylan on the phone. Maybe he should be.
00:41:12
Speaker 4: Awake because has he told you, Tim, Because isn't it?
00:41:16
Speaker 3: I don't listen to anything.
00:41:17
Speaker 4: He says, it's bumpy when you go through the clouds, because that's what turbulence is, and there's little pockets of air that gets stuck and then that's what makes the plane bumpy. But you know that turbulence on a plane, when it's bumpy, it's not dangerous, right you never Yeah, yeah, it just happens.
00:41:33
Speaker 2: The pilots have got it all under control.
00:41:35
Speaker 3: I'm going to my brother, who's a pilot. We'll get we'll get an answer from him. So he should be awake. He's a pilot.
00:41:40
Speaker 2: So they do love the old Denzel Washington.
00:41:43
Speaker 3: He's not great Denzel, but he's right up there. Miller, Hello, you are six years old. Good morning, Miller. What's your question for us?
00:41:52
Speaker 6: Why did you ru have box?
00:41:57
Speaker 3: Oh?
00:41:57
Speaker 2: Why is your voice so cute?
00:41:59
Speaker 3: Miller?
00:42:00
Speaker 2: Oh, you're so cute.
00:42:04
Speaker 3: Okay, it's blotchy patterns. It's not spots, apparently, and it helps them blend into the shade of the African Safara, Oh Sahara or Savana.
00:42:14
Speaker 2: Aha, you just combined a whole.
00:42:19
Speaker 4: So they had spots for camouflage and thermoregulation. Miller, you can go and tell all your friends at school today.
00:42:25
Speaker 3: Yeah. And then Lara's question, Lara's We're going to get try and get my pilot brother out of bed okay to answer the question next.
00:42:34
Speaker 2: Surely he should have some kind of hectic alarm clock.
00:42:37
Speaker 3: It's like.
00:42:39
Speaker 1: Ricky Lee and Tim on Nova Kids ask us anything.
00:42:42
Speaker 3: At twenty eight to nine. We got this from eight year old Lara.
00:42:47
Speaker 6: Why is that slight when you're on an air time? Why is it bumpy when you're going through the clouds because they look so soft.
00:42:54
Speaker 2: They do look soft.
00:42:54
Speaker 4: And I did try and answer it in the best way that I could, but I thought Tim's brother, Dylan is a pilot.
00:43:01
Speaker 2: We should absolutely get him.
00:43:03
Speaker 3: On the line. He's in Sydney at the moment. Morning. What is the answer to Lara's question?
00:43:09
Speaker 10: Good morning, Hi, how are you doing? Sorry? I didn't set an alarm this morning, but I obviously set one for me.
00:43:15
Speaker 2: There we go. Good morning to you.
00:43:19
Speaker 10: Good morning, No, that's all right, So why is there turbulence? Yes, they do look soft and fluffy, and I will admit I do enjoy flying through them occasionally. But it's mostly hot air moving in the atmosphere. So it's a warm air mass that's moving in a colder air warm moist air mass moving in a colder air mass. As that air rises up, that causes a little bit of disturbance, unsettled as they just said in the weather, unsettled air around the aircraft, and that causes a turbulence.
00:43:51
Speaker 3: Wow.
00:43:51
Speaker 4: And I did say to Lara that the turbulence isn't dangerous.
00:43:55
Speaker 2: It just happens.
00:43:56
Speaker 10: You can know turbulence. Turbulence isn't dangerous. Well, was generally not dangerous. Pilots the train not to fly through the really bad clouds, typically the dark of the cloud probably the worst turbulence is going to be. And we have a lot of we have a lot of very good systems that warn us that the computers.
00:44:14
Speaker 3: You got computers at the front.
00:44:16
Speaker 5: Can we have the breaks for a sec I thought you were an only child, for sure.
00:44:21
Speaker 1: I didn't know you had a brother the first time. This is the first time you've.
00:44:25
Speaker 5: Had your brother on the air it is yes, can we not bury the lead?
00:44:32
Speaker 1: Are either older or younger brother?
00:44:35
Speaker 10: I'm a younger brother.
00:44:37
Speaker 1: What was he like Tim? As an older brother?
00:44:42
Speaker 10: This is a great segue. Yeah, I can talk about this all day. Yeah, he was an absolute pant, but then I was a bit of a pet back.
00:44:50
Speaker 2: Nothing changed.
00:44:53
Speaker 1: Oh, this is amazing. We've got to get him back.
00:44:56
Speaker 3: I was the only child for a long time. He's considerably younger than me, Dylan, And hopefully we've answered your.
00:45:02
Speaker 1: Question, Lara, Ricky Lee, and Tim.
00:45:06
Speaker 3: What did you see on someone else's phone? Like glancing over their shoulder on public transport for instance. It's not necessarily going through your partners phone because you don't trust them, But what have you seen on a stranger's phone?
00:45:20
Speaker 4: This actually happened last night. Rich Rich and I were sitting at the dinner table and I got up to clear our plates and Rich was there's nothing sous going on here, but he was like on his phone here and the plate was here, and I went to get the plate and he moved his phone like out of the way when I get to get the plate, and I was like, oh, cheating on me?
00:45:39
Speaker 5: Are you.
00:45:43
Speaker 3: Watched I watched this show where there was a lady on a plane with her husband, and the husband fell asleep, and so she grabbed the phone and started wanting to play some games or watch some stuff, and found out that he was having a full affair. And she's on like a twelve hour flight with her husband who down to sleep, and she's got this knowledge.
00:46:01
Speaker 2: Brilliant, brilliant.
00:46:03
Speaker 3: What was that show?
00:46:04
Speaker 2: Oh my god, is amazing.
00:46:05
Speaker 3: It's a good concept for a show. Anyway. Almost fifty you have admitted to peering at a stranger's phone. So I'm assuming this is like public transport stuff.
00:46:15
Speaker 2: Yeah, or on a plane.
00:46:16
Speaker 4: I've got like severe, a severe case of hawkeye.
00:46:20
Speaker 2: I can I can like have a quick glance of someone's phone and know exactly what's going on. I'm a real I'm a real.
00:46:25
Speaker 3: Pest to come right now, actually know you know what I'm doing.
00:46:28
Speaker 2: What you're doing right now? So high for me.
00:46:33
Speaker 4: You see a lot of it on the planes. There's a I like on the plane. I like sitting on a certain on the right side.
00:46:39
Speaker 3: Of the plane. The plane though, and.
00:46:42
Speaker 2: I'm always saying it to rich the people behind you.
00:46:45
Speaker 4: Can look through the little the little you know, gap between the chairs and can see what you're writing, so stop it, turn your brightness down and like lean away from everyone.
00:46:57
Speaker 3: Remember when on the screen on the back of the plane or the back of the seat used to be like a bit like you can't see it from a certain es.
00:47:05
Speaker 2: I wish phones were like that.
00:47:07
Speaker 3: Yeah. I remember watching something pretty hectic. I think I was watching Euphoria or something on the plane once and I was like, this is bad, which is really bad for people around me, but I can't start watching it.
00:47:16
Speaker 2: Yeah, there's always examples of people.
00:47:17
Speaker 3: Creepy old man watching Euphoria, So what I liked it?
00:47:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, No, that is creepy.
00:47:22
Speaker 4: People do have odd choices on a plane, and you know it also annoys me on a plane. This is off topic from what we're even talking about, but e's when people don't have their headphones in and they're listening to things out loud on the plane.
00:47:35
Speaker 2: You know we're all here.
00:47:36
Speaker 3: A friend of mine was on a plane with everyone's favorite.
00:47:38
Speaker 2: Friend, chef's favorite French chef guy knows my boy.
00:47:43
Speaker 3: And he was listening to music out of his BlackBerry back then with no headphones.
00:47:49
Speaker 1: I can't do that really and him On Nov.
00:47:52
Speaker 4: Jamaine just we were just talking about phones and how when you're on say on public transport, or if you're on a plane, or you're in public and you're walking, you don't want people having a look. Samsung has just released or they're releasing a new phone that has privacy display, so unless you're looking at it from your angle as the user, no one else can see it.
00:48:11
Speaker 2: I think that's pretty amazing.
00:48:12
Speaker 3: I like that Dave's truck. You're going to switch in Silverdale. You would see a whole bunch of stuff from up in your cabin. We do.
00:48:21
Speaker 10: But today the cake I'm driving along and the car less of me, he's watching some adult content.
00:48:28
Speaker 4: It's on your dashboard.
00:48:29
Speaker 1: What driving to work's buddy watching it?
00:48:37
Speaker 2: Oh my god?
00:48:38
Speaker 4: Is so, what is the wildest thing, obviously knowing we're live on the radio, what is the wildest thing you have seen?
00:48:44
Speaker 2: Looking down into someone's car?
00:48:46
Speaker 7: And that's probably that's probably one of the Yeah, that's probably one of them.
00:48:50
Speaker 3: Wow, Okay, that is great. That's this morning in Sydney. Someone has doing that in Sydney this morning, watching adult content on their dashboard. Oh my god, good morning.
00:49:07
Speaker 4: Maybe it was a busy, hectic morning in the house.
00:49:12
Speaker 3: Before we get to it. Of course I get it. Tabitha in okursed good morning. What do you see on someone's phone?
00:49:18
Speaker 2: Morning?
00:49:18
Speaker 1: When we went to the Tailor Swiss concert, there was a grandfather and his grandchildren in front of us, and he had the lyrics to every song up on his phone.
00:49:27
Speaker 2: Oh my god, that's the cutest thing I've ever heard.
00:49:29
Speaker 1: My heart just exploded.
00:49:31
Speaker 3: It was so cute, was he said?
00:49:33
Speaker 2: He singing along to the lyrics.
00:49:36
Speaker 3: The songs the concerts.
00:49:37
Speaker 2: I love that so much.
00:49:40
Speaker 3: What are you doing? I love people were doing that at the Bad Bundy concert and then trying to get lyrics as well, and trying to put Google Translate up before what he was saying because didn't say a word in English.
00:49:50
Speaker 2: Oh wow, yeah, I mean it kind of makes sense.
00:49:53
Speaker 3: I heard him say Sydney a lot. Yeah, manly, what did you say on someone else's phone? Hi?
00:50:03
Speaker 7: So I was at a AFL game when she Sinny sawns and I look into the row in front of us, sat down, and this poor guy has just received the longest break up tags I have ever seen. He was scrolling on his phone for years. What I was because I'm so nosy? I read the first line and it was like, hey, we need a talk dot dot and then it's just an absolute spiel of writing.
00:50:32
Speaker 2: Oh my gosh, did he write anything back?
00:50:35
Speaker 7: I think he was. His thumbs didn't move, but I was so scared he was just going to write okay and just.
00:50:41
Speaker 1: Leave it at back prettily and Tim only on over.
00:50:46
Speaker 5: I had such a nice little chat, a really nice little chat, not just with your little brother, Tim, but with your mama.
00:50:53
Speaker 3: Heather, what are you doing? Why are you doing this?
00:50:55
Speaker 1: I think I'm heading over for some tea and scrumpets.
00:50:59
Speaker 2: And crumpets kind of girl. She's a drry and a sharp man kind of lady.
00:51:03
Speaker 5: So so we kind of got the hint that you tortured your little brother when you were a boy. But your mum was quite open as well, Tim. She said that you were you were rather quiet, almost timid when you were little.
00:51:17
Speaker 4: Timid, timid, tim tim timid, tim timid.
00:51:21

00:51:31
Speaker 1: I didn't want to go to parties. Did you think that people?
00:51:34
Speaker 2: Did you think they were lame?
00:51:35
Speaker 3: Is that what you didn't like that a little bit?
00:51:37
Speaker 2: Nothing's changed?
00:51:38
Speaker 1: And why didn't you keep up with the violin? Tim?
00:51:42
Speaker 3: Because it was ridiculous that I couldn't whack. I couldn't whip it out.
00:51:45
Speaker 2: Of parties, couldn't.
00:51:49
Speaker 5: Your mum said she was happy to hear the end of the squeaking after two years of torture method.

Speaker 3: I don't know. Okay, I'm sorry. I'm leaving room for more questions. What about this? What about this? What about this? What was bad Bunny wearing at the airport because he left Sydney?
00:07:05
Speaker 2: Yes, my songs.
00:07:10
Speaker 3: He left, no thoughts yesterday, no songs, A big scarf around his head. Puerto Rico is leaving Sydney.
00:07:19
Speaker 2: He's out of here. Where's he off to? Next?
00:07:52
Speaker 3: And you love justin Tim.
00:07:53
Speaker 2: I mean that Adam's like match made in heaven for me.
00:11:28
Speaker 1: Rick and Tim Ricky?
00:11:31
Speaker 3: Okay, let's do this. Then it's my top five. Give us five in five seconds. When I give you the subject, I'll give you a quick little run and see there you go. Okay, Formula one.
00:11:44
Speaker 4: Teams Ferrari, Red Bull, Soba, oh my god, my brass and.
00:11:49
Speaker 2: Martin and today I'm so embarrassed. I'm just going to see myself out.
00:11:57
Speaker 3: No, don't do that. We're going to.
00:11:58
Speaker 2: Go see myself out and get it right.
00:12:00
Speaker 3: I don't get five.
00:12:01
Speaker 2: I'm a marred.
00:12:02
Speaker 3: It's just fine. It's fart of things in Canterbury. How are you freaking out? I want to give you some cash to spend a social club at Bungaloway, two hundred bucks to be exact. That would be amazing. All right, let's do this. We'll talk about this yesterday. I need five yellow fruits. Go.
00:12:26
Speaker 10: Are you answering it?
00:12:28
Speaker 3: Well, you're not doing anything anymore. Sorry. Come on, Joe, let me give you one more go. All right, come on, Joe, I'll give you one more go. You have to answer this. You have to answer this because you're the one that wins the money.
00:12:42
Speaker 4: Yes, I understand Joe might have thought that I was playing for him.
00:12:47
Speaker 2: Get to that terrible fo.
00:12:48
Speaker 3: That's why I'll come back to Joe. Okay, here we go. I need five pizza toppings, go.
00:12:57
Speaker 7: Pepperoni, Cactiican cheese, tomatow.
00:13:02
00:13:42
Speaker 1: Perfect Ricky Lee and Tim only on over.
00:13:47
Speaker 3: The homework's really firing up. My my son's in year five and he's getting rinsed with homework at the moment.
00:33:50

00:34:18
Speaker 1: Hello, Tim, you want to help me?
00:34:24

00:48:37
