What is the biblical role of an elder in the church?
In this session, Vince Rafferty shows that eldership is not a title to hold, but a calling to shepherd, oversee, protect, and care for God's people. He explains how faithful elders bring wise leadership, help cultivate healthy church life, guard the flock from error, and keep the church rooted in biblical truth. This is a thoughtful and encouraging message for both current and future leaders, reminding us that God appoints elders to strengthen His church and to lead with humility, faithfulness, and genuine care for the people entrusted to them.
