A Plain Answer: Biblical Warnings Against Socialism - Pastor Bill Shishko

Today we talk about an issue that is more dangerous than the recent pandemic. This issue has the ability to destroy any church, separate brethren, and cause the collapse of any society that is unguarded. This issue sneaks up on the most well meaning of elders, taking them by utter surprise and stealing the ministry out from under them. This issue ebbs and flows over time. Its proponents never give up, never go away, and will win over you if you let your guard down. One danger of this issue is that it has nearly full support of the main stream media, and a surprising support from many pastors who should know better. This issue may be characterized by the analogies: "Fox guarding the henhouse," "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing," "Trojan Horse." It is real, and present in some of the most conservative and faithful of churches. We are referring to Marxism in the church. From our own pulpits. Today's discussion comes from a pastor, who in his very early years, prior to being in the pastorate, was for a time, enamored by the philosophies of Marxism and Communism.
