September has a way of making us feel like it's time to get back to everything.
Back to school.
Back to routines.
Back to work.
Back to schedules.
Back to goals.
But what if September isn't asking you to do more?
What if it's inviting you to pause and reconnect with yourself?
In this special Reclaiming Her interlude, I pull a tarot card for the season ahead → The Star, card XVII from The Light Seer's Tarot → and reflect on what this card might have to say about hope, renewal, trust and the next chapter of our lives.
Whether you're a teacher heading back to the classroom, a student beginning a new school year, a parent navigating the return to routine, or simply someone feeling that familiar September “reset” energy, this episode is an invitation to slow down for a moment and check in with yourself.
Instead of asking:
What should I accomplish?
What do I need to fix?
What should I be doing next?
I want you to ask:
What am I hoping for in this next season of my life?
You don't need to have the whole plan figured out.
Sometimes you just need enough light to see the next step.
And sometimes, the path doesn't light up all at once.
It lights up one step at a time.
In this episode, we explore:
The energy of September and seasonal transitions
Why “back to routine” can sometimes mean losing touch with ourselves
The meaning of The Star in tarot
Hope, renewal and trusting what lies ahead
Listening to your inner knowing
Giving yourself permission to want something different
Why you don't need the whole plan before taking the next step
A reflection question for your own September season
And next week, we're returning to my story and going deeper into Reiki; what it actually became for me, why I kept following it, and why I eventually felt called to create my own Reiki Level 1 course.
Maybe Reiki will be your next little yes.
Your September Reflection:
What am I hoping for in this next season of my life?
Don't force an answer.
Just listen.
And if something comes to you... pay attention.
