Speaker 1: Reality with the King is hosted by me, Carlos King. I'm an executive producer who have produced some of your favorite shows from the Real Housewives of Atlanta, New Jersey, and my own creation, the Love and Marriage franchise and Bell Collective. Every episode, we recap reality television from the Real Housewives franchise to The Bachelor or Selling Sunset. in addition to celebrity guests, whether in the unscripted space or scripted as well. All raindrops. This is the episode of all episodes. Alexis Jansen and I are back to recap. The Real Housewives of Orange County season 20. This is the episode that we have been waiting on. And guess what? We're so blessed. Not only is it my birthday, we also get a special gift. We get two parts of Alexis in next week's episode. Oh, good God.
00:01:00
Speaker 2: Carlos, first of all, we'll never forget your birthday and my anniversary because my anniversary is tomorrow for one year.
00:01:05
Speaker 1: I know.
00:01:06
Speaker 3: So that's exciting.
00:01:07
Speaker 2: So this is actually a celebratory event. Although it's not, but it's a celebratory podcast today.
00:01:14
Speaker 1: So yay.
00:01:15
Speaker 2: Yay to Carlos. Happy birthday. I'm glad you're turning 29. Next year, we'll celebrate your 30th. Thank you.
00:01:20
Speaker 1: Thank you. Thank you. And I can't wait to celebrate 100 years of you and John's wedding.
00:01:26
Speaker 2: But God, I don't want to make it to 100 years. I do not want to be 149.
00:01:31
Speaker 4: I mean, listen, listen, that's how long the housewives would be on.
00:01:35
Speaker 1: So we need somebody.
00:01:37
Speaker 2: Well, as long as I can get facelifts and Botox, I think I'm good. I think I can, you know, preserve the face.
00:01:44
Speaker 3: I just don't know if my organs are going to sustain.
00:01:47
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:01:47
Speaker 2: So this podcast, Carlos, is going to be really hard for me because if you would have told me, you know, any time in my life, I'd be podcasting about.
00:01:54
Speaker 3: A show that I was on.
00:01:55
Speaker 2: I would like a podcasting about myself because I have to be very objective when I'm with you.
00:02:00
Speaker 3: And now I just watch it and now I'm like, this is just.
00:02:02
Speaker 2: Going to be hard. But I don't know if I can be objective about myself because it's me. So it's like, I'm going to tell you my feelings and how I feel and the truth behind the scene.
00:02:12
Speaker 1: Okay. Yeah. No. And I think, listen, I just watched it because I like to watch it right before we recap because I like to make sure it's fresh and I have all the emotions and the feelings. And yeah. I have a lot of questions. I have a lot of questions for you. Yeah. And the fact that this is just a piece of what we're going to see next week. But obviously, Raindrops, because Alexis is a professional, we are only going to talk about what we saw this week so that next week, okay, she can give us the additional parts of the story based on the scene.
00:02:54
Speaker 2: So, Well, and there's no reason... There's no reason.
00:02:57
Speaker 3: Oh, go ahead.
00:02:58
Speaker 1: Sorry. No, no, please.
00:03:01
Speaker 2: There's no reason to talk about anything next week because we don't know what they're going to air. You don't know what's going to air of the 25 minutes of the rest of the party or 30 or an hour. I don't even know how long was left that I was there. You don't know what they're going to air. So that's why we can't even talk about next week because we don't know.
00:03:15
Speaker 1: Yeah. But I would love to get in your headspace just based on what happened between you and Heather and Tamara because as a producer... I have a feeling, because guys, Alexis and I don't talk before we hit record. We literally be like, save it for the pod. Save it for the pod. So as a producer, there's tons of questions I have, but also theories that I have based on your commentary to Tamara. So again, stay tuned for that, Raindrops. Before we get into the recap, today's my birthday. Tomorrow is Alexis' anniversary with John. But today is also the day they are taping the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion. Okay. So what we have, Alexis, as we look into, look.
00:04:12
Speaker 2: I'm going into my feed of like what I've gotten sent to me today.
00:04:15
Speaker 3: And I'm hoping you're going where I'm going.
00:04:17
Speaker 1: Yes. Okay. So we are going to talk about the seating chart of the show. And first chair belongs to Vicky and Tamara.
00:04:30
Speaker 2: Yeah. I was going to ask you what you thought about this if you didn't go there.
00:04:37
Speaker 1: What do you think? Makes sense to me. I think....
00:04:44
Speaker 2: I think the entire seating chart is okay, except the fact, which I shouldn't be speaking so low.
00:04:48
Speaker 1: Let me, do you want me to, well, let me tell the raindrops in case they haven't seen.
00:04:52
Speaker 2: Oh yeah.
00:04:52
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yes. Let me tell them the entire seating chart then. Okay. So here is the.
00:04:58
Speaker 2: Entire screen so that they can see it and then you can talk about it.
00:05:02
Speaker 1: So if they're watching for audio listeners. Okay. So Andy's left Vicky's first chair next to Vicky is Shannon. Then it's Gina and, And end of the couch is Emily. On the other side, first chair is Tamara. Then it's Heather. Then it's Jen. And last chair is Carmella. Alexis, go first. What are your thoughts on this current seating chart?
00:05:29
Speaker 2: I mean, you can go first too. What do you think?
00:05:40
Speaker 1: What do I think? Okay. What do you think? I think the sitting chart makes sense. I think the sitting chart makes sense. Vicky and Tamara, to me, deserves first chair. Vicky, listen. Love her or hate her, this season would be a doll without Vicky. And I think we can all admit that. Without Vicky, this season would not be what it is. Whether you love her, whether you hate her, she's the reason for this season. Okay. So with that being said, Additionally, when it comes to Vicky's side of the couch, look, to me, it also makes sense. Shannon next to Vicky makes sense. They're friends. Look, Gina had some great scenes. Although I will say this, I will say this. I may would have put Emily next to Shannon. Emily's scenes with Shane, she's giving way more interesting personal story than Gina. So if I had to make a change, I would have swapped Gina and Emily, right? If that was me. But I'm not mad at the current position, but I do feel like Emily's personal storylines were stronger. Now to Tamara's couch, look, I understand because Carmella's a newbie that you're going to stick her in the end, but I would have swapped her and Gina. That's me.
00:07:13
Speaker 2: Okay.
00:07:13
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:07:13
Speaker 2: So you would have gone on Tamara's side, it would go on Andy, Tamara, Heather, Camilla, Jen.
00:07:22
Speaker 1: Correct. Okay.
00:07:25
Speaker 2: So what I think it should have been is I think Carmella and Shannon should have switched places and Jen and Heather should have switched places.
00:07:37
Speaker 3: So I think Carmela should have been next to Vicki. Well, oh no, they're not friends.
00:07:41
Speaker 2: Okay, so let's just say, let's say Heather and Carmela should have switched. It should have gone Tamara, Carmela, Jen, Heather to me.
00:07:50
Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
00:07:53
Speaker 3: Or maybe Jen at the end and Heather next.
00:07:54
Speaker 2: I feel like Carmella should have been either next to Vicky or to Tamara because Carmella brought more than any of the other rest of the girls that were there, like as far as freshness, which is hard for me to say being objective after she just bashed me without knowing me and I've been sticking up for her the whole season.
00:08:09
Speaker 1: Who bashed you?
00:08:11
Speaker 3: Oh, Carmella on this episode. You did not hear that?
00:08:15
Speaker 2: Oh, she goes, oh, I'm loyal to Shannon through and through. I will drop kick a house, old housewife if I have to. I'm like, I get it. She doesn't know me.
00:08:22
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:08:23
Speaker 2: She doesn't know I've been sticking up with her this whole time and that I adore her and all that.
00:08:27
Speaker 1: Yeah, and that was shot before we even did the podcast. So yeah.
00:08:32
Speaker 2: Well, yeah, and also she's being brainwashed by a couple of people that don't like me in this world when most of them do.
00:08:36
Speaker 1: So I don't know.
00:08:37
Speaker 3: It's like, whatever.
00:08:38
Speaker 2: But that's, I just feel like Carmela got this short end of the stick because she is new.
00:08:43
Speaker 3: I get that she has to be on the end. But yeah, yeah.
00:08:48
Speaker 1: Yeah, I agree. We both agreed on that. Okay.
00:08:52
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:08:54
Speaker 1: There you go. I'm expecting a great reunion and I really want it to be good. I want it to be good. And I feel like with Tamara having first chair, she's going to make sure that it's good because Tamara is the best. when it comes to reunions. So I'm definitely looking forward to that. Let's get into this episode. One of the scenes that opened up was Heather and Terry. So in this scene, we learn that Terry's mom, who is 92 years old and suffering through Alzheimer's, which of course is very difficult for any child to have to have a parent dealing with that. She doesn't like where she's living. And obviously, it's, you know, it's bothering Terry to a degree because he is somebody that loves his mom and want to make sure she's good. But he's also aware that, look, she's not in her right state of mind. In this scene, we also find... out from Heather, she emotes on how she was raised by parents who would ridicule her if she even cried while watching a movie and that she wasn't really raised to be all warm and fuzzy. That's just how she is. And that showed us shape who she is. What I will say is this, One thing that I love about when people on reality television bring their parents on or talk about their parents, to me, it always sheds light on who they are as adults. And the thing with Heather, I find Heather to be very cold, right? I find her to be a cold person. There's nothing warm and fuzzy about her. She, to me, is an ice queen. And she's very... hard when it comes to her heart, right? That's my opinion based on me watching the show. I don't know her personally. Was she brought up on how she was raised? I said, okay, now I have a greater understanding on how you were raised. And unfortunately, that shaped who you are today. So I appreciated that because I know I'm hard on Heather, but this did shed light on her to me. What do you think? Million percent.
00:11:19
Speaker 3: I got choked up on that scene a little bit.
00:11:21
Speaker 2: I didn't cry or anything, but I did get like, you know, I lost both of my parents and I went through one with cancer and one with some brain disease.
00:11:27
Speaker 3: We don't even know yet. They still have her brain. Hopefully they'll figure it out one day.
00:11:31
Speaker 2: But anyway, it's like I had to be that sandwich that Heather was talking about. And I related so much because it's like you are a parent to your kids and now you're being a parent to your parent who parented you. It's the weirdest start like stage of life to be in. But I thought both her and Terry are, like, really handling it well. And thank God they have each other. And it is so freaking hard. And I loved that they opened up to that. Neither of them had to. But I see Heather, like, her mom in her. Like, she thinks she's all– she's like, I'm such a warm person.
00:12:05
Speaker 3: And I'm like, are you?
00:12:07
Speaker 2: Like, I don't feel like that from her either. So maybe other people in America do. Maybe other cast members do.
00:12:14
Speaker 1: I don't know.
00:12:15
Speaker 2: But I do think she's, you know, her mom did, you know, create her and make her who she was. And it would really stink to be, have your feelings suppressed as a kid, right? You can't cry at a movie or whatever.
00:12:28
Speaker 3: That would be a really, if I was that kid, I don't know what that would have done to me.
00:12:33
Speaker 2: You know, I mean, I needed, my mom was all free and spirit and everything, you know, spirit, like, you know, hippie kind of like love, just everyone love.
00:12:40
Speaker 3: It doesn't matter what you love. I don't know what I'd be if my mom would have been.
00:12:46
Speaker 2: Like, stop crying. Is that a tear? Grow up.
00:12:48
Speaker 1: Yeah. Get a muscle. No, my mom was the same way. My mother, listen, my mother was somebody that was, she was, to me, the definition of love, right? Oh, and by the way, our poll from last week about women.
00:13:06
Speaker 2: Yes.
00:13:09
Speaker 1: 100% said if they had a choice, they would be a stay-at-home mom.
00:13:15
Speaker 2: No, they did not.
00:13:16
Speaker 1: 100%. 100%.
00:13:19
Speaker 2: So if we had 49 comments, all 49 said yes.
00:13:22
Speaker 1: Said yes.
00:13:25
Speaker 2: Carlos, that is baffling to me because I have friends who would kind of make fun of me and be like, I would never be a stay-at-home mom. I could not handle what you do. So I can't even believe that. That's incredible.
00:13:37
Speaker 1: Because I do think this. Listen, I'm a feminist and I want every woman to live their best life and to be everything God created them to be. I do think, though, and the reason why I know this is because I've worked with Housewives. I've worked with other reality stars. My business is ran by women, and some have children, some don't. And what I will say is I've always been told this. My friends who were raised by their moms or their grandmothers, to be better than them and to be this working woman... They all said, Carlos, I woke up and I was 40 years old with no kids. And that's my biggest regret in life because I was chasing my career. And then for my friends who are career mothers, they have said to me, if I didn't have to work to take care of my family, I would be a stay-at-home mom. So I think, I think, I think, listen, and I'm not saying let's go backwards or I'm not even saying that that's going backwards. Right. I think it's your own individual choice. But what I, what I am saying is I think a lot of women, if, if, if given the choice at a certain age, I, I, I think you'll be surprised. And I was surprised. They all said, yes.
00:15:02
Speaker 3: I wish America would take that poll.
00:15:04
Speaker 2: Not just us. I mean, we got, you know, we have what, 2 million listeners. It's like, we're a little pee over the pot of everybody, but like, you know, I'm not a feminist. I'm not a manist. I'm an equalist.
00:15:13
Speaker 3: I want to, I think everything should be equality.
00:15:14
Speaker 2: It doesn't matter if you're a man or whatever, but I cannot believe that, that I cannot believe that poll.
00:15:22
Speaker 1: I'm baffled.
00:15:23
Speaker 2: I'm also loving it because I'm also thinking, you know, the pendulum always swings one way or the other.
00:15:28
Speaker 3: And, and so we.
00:15:29
Speaker 2: Went through this heavy feminist move where, Oh.
00:15:31
Speaker 3: Women should be working.
00:15:32
Speaker 2: They should never be. Maybe now everyone's like waking up and going, Oh, well, We do like the stay at home mom idea. Maybe, you know, it's not that a man's better than a woman, but a man can be a breadwinner and the woman can stay at home and everyone's still, you know, that's.
00:15:45
Speaker 1: That's how I feel. That's honestly how I feel.
00:15:49
Speaker 3: Yeah.
00:15:50
Speaker 2: Stay at home mom is a hard fricking job. I'm sorry. It is hard. You wake up, you, you, you never get off the clock out. You're on a day to day job. You can clock out nine to five. You're done. Put your clock out and you're done. You don't get a day off or any moment off. You don't have time to be sick. You don't have time to do anything because you're doing all of it all day long with the kids.
00:16:07
Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah. No, I agree with you 1000%. So I wanted to share that. But no, even when Heather said to Terry that she did not think she was smart until she met him and how Terry made her feel smart from their first date and growing up, Heather was coined as the talented one while her sister was known as the smart one. And because they had those divine archetypes, their parents wanted their careers to be based on that. And she made a comment saying that, you know, there's this old saying that you marry your unfinished business. So I want to ask you about that. Do you agree with that, that you marry your unfinished business?
00:16:59
Speaker 2: Wonder I can't even place myself at my first marriage like with Jim I was too young to even you know and got married way too fast with my first little one-year blip but um for Jim I don't even know but with John I definitely don't feel he's my unfinished business I feel like I married him because first of all we just kind of completed each other but we have such similar stories that it was like it wasn't that we we you know completed each other's business it's almost more like no one can understand everything I've been through as much as him because.
00:17:30
Speaker 3: He kind of went through the same. It's almost like we were.
00:17:33
Speaker 2: I don't know.
00:17:34
Speaker 3: So I don't know.
00:17:35
Speaker 2: I do. I can see though in a marriage where you do marry your unfinished business. I totally, when Heather said that it was like a light bulb. I'm like, that could be a thing that totally, because it draws you to, because you're getting from that person, what you didn't get from your parent, you know, but John and I, John gives me a lot of what my mom would have gave me. John gives me a lot of everything, like the support I need.
00:17:56
Speaker 3: So I don't know.
00:17:57
Speaker 1: I don't know.
00:17:57
Speaker 2: For me, that's the case.
00:17:59
Speaker 1: Yeah. Yeah, it's so interesting. It's funny because I would say that one of the things that my sisters would say, I have three sisters, and they all said we did marry someone like our dad. Like, there's a little bit of characteristic that that is, and I thought it was so interesting that that was that.
00:18:28
Speaker 2: But does that mean, but if they married somebody like their dad, it means they respected their dad. They were looking for someone like their dad. But does that mean that's unfinished business?
00:18:37
Speaker 1: I know that's the thing. That's the thing. That's why the unfinished business I'm not too sure about. I've never heard that personally.
00:18:43
Speaker 2: I get it. In Terry and Heather and Terry's situation, I can totally see how they were each other's unfinished business.
00:18:49
Speaker 3: And also they got married very young, right?
00:18:51
Speaker 2: But so I just don't know about like for your sister's, And my son did not marry unfinished business.
00:18:57
Speaker 3: He married someone very much like me. I mean, she is like me.
00:19:01
Speaker 2: Like you? Oh my gosh.
00:19:03
Speaker 3: She is so much like me.
00:19:04
Speaker 2: Very headstrong, very driven, can watch out she's going to run the shit.
00:19:10
Speaker 3: I was so impressed just watching her wedding.
00:19:12
Speaker 2: I really got to see so much more of her. She was a kid when I met her. She was 15. And I'm just like, You married your mom, honey. She's going to take care of you, and she's got it.
00:19:23
Speaker 3: That's good.
00:19:25
Speaker 1: That's good. No, I love that. I love that. I love that. I also think that's how it should be, to be honest with you. This is Reality with the King, and I'm Carlos King. Let's get back into the show. I thought this scene was special because I felt like I got a chance to know Heather a little bit more, and as a viewer, I always appreciate these personal story scenes, so... I wanted to make sure I said that. So the ladies are at an event. And honey, Vicky and Tamara. OK. So Vicky went to the doctor and got an exam. And there's white spots floating around in her brain via the x-ray. She does tell Tamara, don't tell anybody. Right? Tamara then... Tamara, I love you, dot, dot, dot. But, Tamara, you were wrong.
00:20:24
Speaker 2: She don't even care that you say that.
00:20:25
Speaker 1: Yeah, like, Tamara, I love you. You were absolutely wrong. If someone tells you not to say anything... I know you're trying to defend her, but you said it. And to me, this is very black and white. Tamara should not have repeated what she was told in confidence by Vicky. Full stop, that's my opinion and my Tamara voice. So Vicky made a joke to Tamara like, oh my gosh, I'm brain damaged, right? Because you know Vicky, Vicky over-exaggerates. So she's like, oh my gosh, I'm brain damaged. Tamara tells the girls that, how she's going through something serious, all these things. and reveals it to the girls. Emily does tell Tamara that Vicky said their friendship is toxic. And then we flash back to a moment where Vicky did just say she doesn't voluntarily walk into toxic friendships. And with Tamara, Tamara has done things to her that she felt was toxic. But in my opinion, I thought she was talking about the past, not the present. But Emily told her that Tamara gets upset and says that Vicky did things to her. And in her confessional, Tamara does say that Vicky is not a good person. And how Vicky is the one who pretty much said on her own podcast that she's a bad mother because she chose fame over her daughter. Um, Very harsh words. I think Vicky was wrong for saying that too. I think these are two incidents, in my opinion, that were both in the past. And that's why it's hard to... And when I say both incidents, I mean what Vicky said about Tamara being toxic. I thought that was in the past tense. And what Vicky did to Tamara was in the past. That's why when it comes to these situations, you have to find a way to get past it or it will unearth again. But more importantly, Tamara was 1000% wrong to me for telling the girls what Vicky said not to repeat.
00:22:37
Speaker 3: Okay, so here's another way to look at it, though.
00:22:39
Speaker 2: The one thing I know about Tamara is because of everything she knows about me and we filmed season 18 together. If you say don't say anything to Tamara and it has not been on camera. done on camera, like this brain scan was on national television. Vicki gave the approval to do it on national television. It's going to be shown.
00:22:56
Speaker 3: If it hadn't been, and they'd done it in private, Tamara would never have said a word.
00:23:00
Speaker 2: I know Tamara because I, she has information, a lot of information that has never been disclosed even to this day. And she's still filming a show and my name is still getting brought up and she does not say anything about it. She has many opportunities too, but because they did this on national television, filming it on the show, I think Tamara said, even though Vicky was, I don't know. I have not talked to Tamara about this. Please let me preface with that. But in my mind, I'm sitting there going, they did it. So it's going to be aired in about four months. So what's it matter if I bring it up with the girls, even though Vicky said, don't tell anyone because why would Vicky have even done it if she didn't want it to be aired?
00:23:36
Speaker 3: But you're right.
00:23:37
Speaker 2: Even though Vicky did say that and she did do it on national television, she should, Tamara should not have still said it. But that was just what went through my mind when this all played out. The other thing is, yes, Vicky flubbed up and should never have said those things about Tamara. Like, and everyone thinks they know the story between Tamara and her daughter and they don't really know it. So yeah, definitely off limits there.
00:24:01
Speaker 1: You're right. Yeah, and I also just think when it comes to, here's the thing. Yes, if it's said on camera, then there is a school of thought of, But it happened on camera. So it's not a secret. I know, I know. But I also think, hear me out. I do also think that's why Vicky told her, don't say anything because I know it's on camera and I know what your rule is. You see what I'm saying? I think that's why Vicky said it on camera. Like, I know you. Because this is on camera, you feel the need to tell people. But I'm asking you, don't tell people. And I am on Vicky's side when it comes to anything medical. Because Vicky's kind of a hypochondriac. You know what I mean? I feel like she's... And I have... Listen, the reason why I will say that is because I recognize it. I have a little bit of that too.
00:25:03
Speaker 2: If I.
00:25:05
Speaker 1: I would say that. Yeah. I'm like, oh my gosh.
00:25:09
Speaker 2: And I'm so not a hypochondriac. I'll go around with my pinky dangling off.
00:25:13
Speaker 1: I'll be like, oh no.
00:25:14
Speaker 2: Your finger needs sewed back on.
00:25:15
Speaker 3: Life's going to be like, oh really?
00:25:16
Speaker 2: No.
00:25:17
Speaker 1: Okay. Oh no, girl. Girl, I overdid it with pushups. And girlfriend, I thought I was like in dire need of a blood transfusion. I'm like, what is happening? Yeah. I'm like, oh my God.
00:25:34
Speaker 3: Call it up all your concierge doctors and IV people.
00:25:37
Speaker 2: Bring me the IV. Oh, concierge doctor, I think I tore my muscle. No, no, I broke my bite. I broke my check pack.
00:25:42
Speaker 1: I didn't. What's happening to me? I literally Googled it. I'm like, I'm a hypochondriac. So that's why I get Vicky like, I think Vicky saw that shit and said, Tamara, you bitch. Don't say anything because I don't need this fucking cast to use that against me. When they're trying to shade me. Got it.
00:26:05
Speaker 2: How many, first of all, how many weeks before you did pushups again?
00:26:09
Speaker 1: Oh, first of all, you want to laugh some more? This happened Monday.
00:26:13
Speaker 2: On your birthday week, you farted.
00:26:19
Speaker 1: Yes.
00:26:19
Speaker 2: Here I go.
00:26:23
Speaker 1: It's just size. I'm getting old.
00:26:24
Speaker 2: It's God reminding you. It is your birthday, Carlos. You got to change a couple things of it. You know, you got to eat less sugar. You got to drink one less cocktail a week. You got to do one less workout a week.
00:26:36
Speaker 1: Oh, God. Getting old. My girl, I just, I need some help. And I'm like, please, please, whatever you do, help me. So, but I did feel that. But the good thing is this. Tamara did approach Vicky and say, let's talk. Because Vicky was avoiding her all night. And Vicky got emotional and she's like, look, I don't want you to say anything about my medical issues to anybody. Like, I just I just don't want that. I don't need that in my life. Look, I could barely walk down the stairs. My knee hurts. You know what I mean? Like.
00:27:11
Speaker 2: Let's focus on my knee, not my brain.
00:27:14
Speaker 1: Exactly. Like, I don't mind people knowing that because I'm in a wheelchair half the damn time. Or a fucking scooter. Hey, Kim Zosiac. But the thing is, she's visibly upset about this. And I get it. And I understand it. But I do appreciate Tamra apologizing. Yeah. Saying, like, I get it. And I'm sorry. Yeah.
00:27:42
Speaker 3: And that's what you have to do.
00:27:43
Speaker 1: That's what you have to do.
00:27:44
Speaker 2: You have to make an excuse that she just said, I'm sorry.
00:27:47
Speaker 3: Shouldn't have done it.
00:27:48
Speaker 1: Yeah. My bad, girl. Won't do it again.
00:27:50
Speaker 2: All good. So I wish she would have said, though, but Vicky, you should have done this with me off camera. Then if you don't want it because it was going to be.
00:28:01
Speaker 1: Yes. No, exactly. Exactly. So I appreciate that from Tamara. Now we got to get to Emily and Shane scene. Oh boy. So at this party, Shane left early to take care of the kids. And what we have learned this season is Shane takes care of the kids. And this is going to be a very interesting topic for you and I to discuss because you, a stay-at-home mom that was also a full-time reality star. And No one to me can speak on this but you because you lived this with young children when you started on the show. Shane, and I'm saying this based on the scenes with Emily present. So I'm not saying anything to mom Shane. I'm not mom shaming. Emily has agreed that Shane takes on most of the bulk of the work when it comes to the children, right? She admits to that. He left the party early. I got the kids. You hang out. Which translation? You film. You're the housewife.
00:29:16
Speaker 2: I'm not.
00:29:17
Speaker 1: I'm letting you work. Which is why I did not understand why Emily was being such a hard ass to Shane. Because I felt like what Shane was saying to her is, I've accepted that this is your job. And I've accepted that this is a full-time job you love. You love it. Let me take on some of the slack when it comes to the kids. And I think when it comes to Emily, I think Emily feels guilty because she's not there and how that will make her look. And because Shane isn't giving her attitude in some weird way, No, Emily, Shane is not the one sitting in the complaining as a martyr. That's you. You want him to yell at you. You want him to be upset. You want him to give you reason to stop. And he's not doing it because he's accepted this dynamic now that you're a housewife. And I feel like Shane is such a sweetheart to do that because I don't know many husbands who would take on the slack. But he does it without complaint. And she takes it like, you're just not saying anything. And I want you to talk to me. He's not trying to argue with you because he's accepted it. He doesn't mind doing it. But you want him to argue. And I felt like what Emily was doing in that scene was trying to flip how she feels. Yes. You feel guilty as a mother. So right.
00:30:50
Speaker 2: I didn't think of it that way. But when you think back to that scene.
00:30:55
Speaker 2: You're so right.
00:30:56
Speaker 3: She's portraying or projecting.
00:31:00
Speaker 1: Projecting.
00:31:00
Speaker 2: Projecting is the word. Because I totally didn't look at it that way. What I looked at it is she has resting bitch face.
00:31:07
Speaker 3: She's never happy. She doesn't like her marriage. She doesn't like her job.
00:31:09
Speaker 2: She doesn't like anything. That's how I took it. But it's not that. You're right. She is projecting on him because she feels guilty and she wants to somehow turn it back on him. That is.
00:31:21
Speaker 1: Wow. Wow.
00:31:23
Speaker 2: She wants to somehow be like, oh, no, it's you, Shane.
00:31:25
Speaker 3: You're the problem. When really, all of it's.
00:31:27
Speaker 2: Internal in her.
00:31:28
Speaker 1: Yes.
00:31:29
Speaker 2: Yes. She got a new body. And now what?
00:31:34
Speaker 3: Do you want a new husband? Like, is that what you're trying to shoot him out the door?
00:31:36
Speaker 1: I don't know. Can we talk? Okay. I do think she wants a new husband. Well... Wow.
00:31:49
Speaker 2: I was just kind of saying that because I was like going down the list of things. I'm like, well, she's got all these things going for her. Why is she picking on him? Okay, hold on. You know what she said about me? You know what she said about me that was brought onto this?
00:31:59
Speaker 1: Hold on.
00:32:00
Speaker 3: She goes, every pot needs a lid or something like that.
00:32:04
Speaker 1: No, no, no. I got it, girls. I wrote it down. Every trash can needs a lid.
00:32:10
Speaker 3: Every girl wants a trust fund kid.
00:32:12
Speaker 2: She found Shane and now it's backfiring on her.
00:32:14
Speaker 1: Oh!
00:32:19
Speaker 3: If you think she wants a new husband... Oh, my God. Carlos left the scene.
00:32:23
Speaker 1: Oh, God.
00:32:24
Speaker 3: The podcast's over.
00:32:25
Speaker 2: What?
00:32:25
Speaker 3: What are you.
00:32:28
Speaker 2: Well, I'm just saying, like, I can't even believe you thought that. What are you doing? I do not know what you're doing, but you're freaking me out right now.
00:32:35
Speaker 3: Please sit down.
00:32:37
Speaker 1: You... That's called a dance because, baby, you are stepping all over the floor with that.
00:32:44
Speaker 2: I mean... But why? I can't believe it. I mean, why is she putting so much anger towards him when he does seem like he's just literally picking up the pieces and trying to do the best he can and gave up his career to help?
00:32:57
Speaker 3: What's that?
00:32:58
Speaker 1: What does that mean? Tie me in when you're ready. Okay, go. Yes.
00:33:01
Speaker 4: Okay, Carlos, go.
00:33:02
Speaker 1: Okay. Emily wants a new husband and she wants Shane to yell at her on camera so that when she files for divorce, she has evidence because she's a lawyer and And she needs proof and evidence as a lawyer to present her case to the judge and to the audience, which are the court of public opinion and the court of law that I'm divorcing my husband because you see that he yells at me and he resents me from working. And that's a storyline she needs to have in order to feel comfortable filing the divorce papers so that she can show people in her life this is why i'm doing it and shane isn't falling for the okie doke because he's smarter than you now granted he passed the bar after 10 times of trying it but he he he knows what you're doing and he's not falling for your trick that's why he's like answer the door you want to talk to them instead of like dealing with this.
00:34:00
Speaker 2: Oh my god i cannot even if emily wants a divorce if you.
00:34:08
Speaker 3: Okay i'm sorry america.
00:34:09
Speaker 2: I don't i never knew you thought this or this was going here and i didn't see listen i am in no you're right that's.
00:34:20
Speaker 1: Why you're my favorite the thing is this alexis jansen what it's been bubbling up my thoughts of this like You're so mean to this guy. Like, what is it?
00:34:34
Speaker 2: And his family's paying for you, girlfriend. Your job ain't paying a ton.
00:34:37
Speaker 3: It's his mom and dad taking care of y'all.
00:34:40
Speaker 2: Why are you being mean to the guy that's putting the bread on your table?
00:34:43
Speaker 1: Okay, Vicky, you got the wrong bitch. It's not Terry Dubrow that's a trust funder. It's fucking Emily Simpson.
00:34:52
Speaker 2: No, it's Shane.
00:34:53
Speaker 3: It's not Emily.
00:34:54
Speaker 2: Well, no, courtesy, Vicky.
00:34:56
Speaker 1: It's Shane. Shane is a trust fund, baby, not Terry.
00:35:00
Speaker 2: Thank you.
00:35:04
Speaker 1: And Emily Simpson is a conduit of it. Let me tell you something. I see right through Emily Simpson. Emily, because it's so typical of some, not all, some reality stars. When Emily started the show, she looks extremely different than she does now.
00:35:29
Speaker 2: But she still wasn't happy then either. And she's still not happy now. So nothing changed.
00:35:35
Speaker 1: Well, things changed. Physically. It's because the.
00:35:41
Speaker 2: Inside needs work. She needs to go get a facelift inside, okay? It's got to go into your core. Jesus Christ in your life.
00:35:51
Speaker 1: We need to see if there's white cells floating around that brain.
00:35:56
Speaker 2: Well, probably mine too, okay? My mom had a brain disease. I don't even want to go get that scan because if I've got anything my mom had, I'm going to be taking a bottle of Ambien night-night. Y'all love y'all. Do not go through what my mom went through.
00:36:10
Speaker 3: I don't want you to watch what happened to my mom happen to me.
00:36:12
Speaker 1: Yes, yes. All jokes aside, I think because Emily looks like a different person, I think her confidence is... I think her confidence feels like she can do better than Shane.
00:36:32
Speaker 3: So sad.
00:36:32
Speaker 1: I know. You know what, Carlos?
00:36:35
Speaker 2: Thinking about this on an outsider, They haven't ever... I said this last week or the week before. They haven't ever really had that lovey-dovey kind of... Neither of them. I'm sure Shane doesn't want to lose his kids. No one wants a divorce. I feel really bad going there about that, but you're the one.
00:36:53
Speaker 1: No, I went there.
00:36:54
Speaker 2: I know, but I feel bad because I come from that. I had to share my kids 50% for a year of my life, and it was the worst fucking year of my life. Sorry I said the F-bomb, but I will drop the F-bomb for something like that.
00:37:04
Speaker 3: It was the worst year ever.
00:37:05
Speaker 1: But I....
00:37:08
Speaker 2: I just don't think he would want to go there and I would never wish this upon them. I hope that this isn't the case. And maybe they were just trying to make good TV and it flopped because Carlos King read right through it.
00:37:20
Speaker 1: But I don't know. I'm just saying, she's so mean to him that everybody in America is sort of like, I'm trying to find out what he did to deserve it. We're all kind of confused.
00:37:36
Speaker 2: Like, right.
00:37:37
Speaker 1: I don't get it. We don't know a lot of husbands who don't mind taking the slack and is telling you without saying to you, you have to film. It's okay. I'll go stay in work this. So that's how I felt.
00:37:54
Speaker 2: By the way, Carlos, no husband, mark my words for when we get to the scene with John and I, no husband really wants to be there.
00:38:01
Speaker 3: They are doing it for their wife.
00:38:02
Speaker 2: So Shane actually went home.
00:38:04
Speaker 1: Besides Terry Dubrow.
00:38:06
Speaker 2: No, I don't even, I think he even, he likes the camera. Yeah, but I even think he, I mean, they walk away. Anytime the cameras come on, the women talking, all the husbands scatter like ants.
00:38:14
Speaker 3: Like they're like, bye.
00:38:15
Speaker 2: You know, but I don't think Shane was like, oh gosh, I have to go home and leave the party.
00:38:20
Speaker 3: I think he was probably like, God, thank God I get to go home.
00:38:22
Speaker 2: You know, like.
00:38:22
Speaker 1: Yes, yes.
00:38:24
Speaker 2: I don't want to.
00:38:24
Speaker 3: You're the one on TV, not me.
00:38:25
Speaker 2: You're filming. I'm not, you know, kind of thing. So he's a good guy.
00:38:30
Speaker 3: I like Shane. And I think he's funny and witty.
00:38:32
Speaker 1: I don't know.
00:38:32
Speaker 3: I've always.
00:38:33
Speaker 1: I like him, too. And the thing is this. I've always liked him because I always got his sarcasm. Uh-huh.
00:38:39
Speaker 3: I think you have to be able to do that, though.
00:38:41
Speaker 2: You have to be able to do sarcasm. It's dry. It's dry humor.
00:38:43
Speaker 1: It's dry.
00:38:44
Speaker 2: And not everybody can understand that.
00:38:46
Speaker 1: Yeah. Okay. So... Tamara has a party to celebrate the new product of her line.
00:38:56
Speaker 2: Are we not going to say one word about Emily Simpson's husband's parents' party? And the $ 120, 000 at least they spent on that party?
00:39:05
Speaker 3: I did the math.
00:39:07
Speaker 1: Let's talk about it.
00:39:08
Speaker 2: No, we don't have to. We don't have to waste the time. But I'm just saying, I just wanted to give the parents props. That was at least a $ 120, 000 party. The champagne girl alone, because I had a champagne tower at my 40th. And the champagne tower, I don't know what you have to pay to have one twirling around in a diamond, but my champagne tower was like 15,000 to have the girl come stand and you have the champagne, they should pour the champagne. And it's like this huge arch or whatever, 10, maybe 10,000. I don't something around there.
00:39:31
Speaker 1: It was a lot.
00:39:33
Speaker 3: So I did the.
00:39:33
Speaker 2: Math of this party and they dropped a hundred thousand plus.
00:39:39
Speaker 3: And it was gorgeous. Was that party not insane?
00:39:42
Speaker 1: It was absolutely stunning. And listen, it just goes to show you that, Hey, They absolutely did something right. I'm all for it. I'm all for it. I love it. I love it. I love it. I love it. So there you go. There you go. Okay. So Tamara's party. It was a reunion of sorts. You know, we got a chance to see a lot of former housewives show up. We got Joe. Elizabeth Vargas is there. It was a lot of people that, you know, we know and love that showed up.
00:40:29
Speaker 2: Like 20. It was like a lot. I mean, Fernanda. There's a lot.
00:40:34
Speaker 3: There's a lot of women.
00:40:36
Speaker 1: Yes, a lot of women. And look, we're celebrating 20 seasons. And I thought this was a great show. opportunity to show all of the former housewives to celebrate Tamra, who is our season three OG. Alexis.
00:40:54
Speaker 3: With a couple of resting years, but yeah.
00:40:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:40:58
Speaker 1: You know, two, but who's counting? Alexis shows up with her husband, John. I'm talking about you like you're not even here.
00:41:11
Speaker 2: Well, this is where it's going to get weird, guys. You got to forgive me and stay with me on this because I've never podcast.
00:41:16
Speaker 3: About one of my own episodes before.
00:41:18
Speaker 2: So I don't know how this is going to play out. I don't, I don't know.
00:41:22
Speaker 3: Just God be with me. Lord have mercy.
00:41:25
Speaker 1: So Alexis is there and you look gorgeous. You with John. He looks handsome. You, you know, you're talking to Tamara. Tamara's like, did you not speak to Heather? And you're like, what are you talking about? Like, I gave kisses. You know, I gave kisses. And the cameras flashed back to you giving kisses, you know, when Heather waved and said hi to you from a distance.
00:41:54
Speaker 2: But what did you see at first when the cameras were on me when they showed Heather and then they showed me?
00:42:00
Speaker 3: What did you see?
00:42:01
Speaker 1: So when they first showed you and they showed Heather, it did appear that you did not speak.
00:42:11
Speaker 2: So what happened at that moment is I was getting ready to walk and production behind the camera was like, one of the producers was like, you guys have to wait. You're in hold right now.
00:42:21
Speaker 3: You're in the holding.
00:42:22
Speaker 2: You know the proper term for that. So then I go like this and I back up and I'm like, okay. And I'm like, okay, so I'm.
00:42:26
Speaker 3: Not walking now.
00:42:27
Speaker 2: So in my mind, by the way, Carlos, I want to preface this entire segment of the podcast with, I was nervous as hell to go to that party. I did not want to go because of what had happened with what was shown on season 18. So I didn't want it to happen again where it wasn't a full scene shown. I didn't even mic up Carlos. I walked into that party and I signed the waiver, which was my mistake. I should not have signed it. I signed the waiver and then they go, okay, Alexis, come over here.
00:42:56
Speaker 3: We're going to mic you. We're so excited to see you.
00:42:57
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah.
00:42:57
Speaker 3: I go, I'm not going to mic up guys. I'm just here for Tamara. I'm not going to mic up.
00:43:01
Speaker 2: I did not even put a mic on because I was there to support Tamara. I'm fine if I'm in the background waving. I'm fine. So then they follow me the entire effing time with a boom. And I was like, okay, this is really annoying. Like, why are you, I'm not here to be any spectacle. I'm not a paid cast member. I'm just here to support my girlfriend and her job. And I almost backed out. three times from coming to the party and Tamara begged me to come. So let's preface it with that. So then we're there and we're getting ready to walk up and I see everybody coming out and I'm seeing the carpet that I have to go be a part of. And as we're walking, they then go, oh no, no, hold on, Lex, hold on for a second.
00:43:36
Speaker 3: And I'm like, oh, okay.
00:43:37
Speaker 2: So then I back up and then I get closer to John and move this way because I'm supposed to stop. That was what you see when I kind of look down. Then when I regain myself and everything's there, that's when I'm like, oh, hi everybody. Okay, yeah, like I'll be down in a second. Like I'm coming, they have me holding. There you go.
00:43:54
Speaker 3: Continue with your questions.
00:43:57
Speaker 1: Okay. Let me ask you this first. Why were you reluctant in showing up to this event?
00:44:05
Speaker 2: Because of, well, first of all, it's like, you know, I knew all the cast were going to be there. And I'm friends with 95 of 100 of the people at that party. There's 100 people at that party. 95 of them I get along with. There's a couple that are obviously friends. anti me from season 18 or team Shannon or whatever it is, which I don't even understand it. You don't have to be team anybody at 50 years old.
00:44:25
Speaker 3: We can just be happy with.
00:44:27
Speaker 2: Whoever we like. But, um, so I was just like, Tamara, I don't want to cause a scene there. I don't want, I know, you know, Shannon's going to muffle under her breath.
00:44:34
Speaker 3: Of course, like she did.
00:44:36
Speaker 2: I'm like, we're old. I've been married a year now. I are, you know, I've been married seven months at that point, six months. I don't want to make anything of your party about me coming in.
00:44:44
Speaker 3: I just don't.
00:44:45
Speaker 2: And she was like, no, no, no, no, no. So in my mind, when we're going there in the Uber, I'm like, I'm just not going.
00:44:50
Speaker 3: To mic up, babe.
00:44:52
Speaker 2: And we'll just be there and we'll just have fun. And we'll just be there to support Tamara. They can show me you in the background. I won't mic up because I don't want to be involved in any of the drama. So now continue and you'll understand more as we progress.
00:45:04
Speaker 1: Okay. So after they flash back to that, they do cut to... They cut to Tamara then telling Heather... Are you mad at Alexis? What's going on? And she's like, what are you talking about? And Tamara's like, you should go talk to her. So then, no, no, no, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I went too far. Before that, Tamara is trying to ask you, what's happening? And you say, Tamara, I'm not doing this. I'm not doing this. And then you proceed to leave. Talk to us about that. Because as a producer, what I got from that moment was... And listen, let's be honest here. And this is no shade to Tamara. I do feel like you probably felt in that moment, Tamara, don't try to give this moment a scene. I'm not here to work. I'm not getting paid to be here. I'm not a housewife. I'm here to support you. I don't even have a microphone on. Like, don't do this. Do not make this a moment to where there's drama at my expense.
00:46:20
Speaker 2: A million percent. And because I was already so nervous to go at the beginning, I just, the minute that that happened, I'd literally only been there for, so what you didn't see is, which I'll post next week. They have this little red carpet when you first get there. And so you go and you do a little drink from the can. There's nothing in there, by the way. I never had one drop of her THC. God, I wish I would have, because maybe I wouldn't have cried. but I didn't have one drop of it. They give you the can to act like you're drinking and it's all for promo, right?
00:46:44
Speaker 3: It's all for fun.
00:46:45
Speaker 2: And so I did the red carpet, had a bunch of fun, had a lot of laughs, talked a lot. And then I'm back to holding up spot number two. Okay.
00:46:52
Speaker 1: That's it.
00:46:52
Speaker 2: Holding spot number two is where Tamara comes to me and goes, did you give Heather a dirty look? And I said, I am not doing this. And that's when I looked at, in my mind, I was like, I instantly almost tears came because I was like, here we are.
00:47:04
Speaker 3: I didn't mic up.
00:47:05
Speaker 2: I didn't want to come to have any kind of national television spotting just other than a high in the background like I'm in the I'm like a fly on the wall kind of thing and so that's when I tap Jim and I or John excuse me before I didn't sleep I tap John and say honey I'm out I'm done and he you know he he was calm cool and collected of course but like I was already spiraling at that point because I was like I never should have come I knew it my gut told me in the car always listen to your gut and I knew I shouldn't have gone And so that's why, yeah. So that's where that happens. And you're absolutely right about it. Everything you said, I didn't want to give a moment. I didn't want to have any light drawn to that. If I gave her a dirty look or not, who cares if I would have fucking flipped her off?
00:47:45
Speaker 3: Like, I don't care.
00:47:46
Speaker 2: Just don't, I don't want to have a part of this, any of the scenery. I don't want to be, I shouldn't have gone is the bottom line. So I'll take responsibility for it.
00:47:56
Speaker 1: When you saw Tamra, go talk to Heather and tell Heather, because at this point you left and you're visibly upset, right? You're getting emotional. Then we see Tamara tell Heather while she's around Shannon, where Shannon left a comment about the trash can comment, which by the way, when you heard what Shannon said about you, did that piss you off?
00:48:26
Speaker 2: Well, Emily's the one that made the comment about the trash can. But I was just laughing about Shannon because it's like, oh, my God, I'm married to him. Like, I know you don't have a boyfriend, but get over us. Like, just stop talking about it. Like, so I kind of chuckled at that scene because I'm like, oh, my God, she's still. First of all, why are they even talking about me in the car ride? Like, Heather had it out for me from the beginning in the car. She's telling Terry, oh, Alexis is going to show up. Maybe Alexis is gone. And she's like, I was like, you know. She must have had this already in her mind that she was going to make something about me. But by the way, Carlos, I didn't know filming that, that this was going to be a boring season and that she needed something to, someone to kick while they're all, you know, like to kick to make it a better season. So then I got it and I was like, oh, you're welcome, everybody. You should be glad I showed up. You're welcome for the ratings and for the fact that I was a total train wreck because I didn't want to be a part of it. But I didn't see, I didn't see Tamara go talk to Heather. I just went outside and John and I were in the process of calling an Uber. Cause when you're not a castmate, you don't get a car to bring you to the event. Right.
00:49:27
Speaker 3: So we had to Uber ourselves, a black car. So I was trying to black.
00:49:31
Speaker 2: Car as home.
00:49:32
Speaker 3: And then, you know, that's when Heather came back outside. So that's when you.
00:49:38
Speaker 1: Yeah. So then Heather, Well, I do know the audience wants me to ask you this first before I proceed to what happened outside. When you saw Tamara encourage Heather to talk to you, did you feel that Tamara was trying to make a moment happen between the two of you?
00:50:01
Speaker 2: No, I think, and I haven't talked to Tamara about this, by the way. They're filming the reunion today and I just watched the episode last night, so I haven't talked to her, but We texted a little bit last night, but I know she's in a mental place. So I didn't want to call her and ask her about any of the scene. But I took it as Tamara was really literally trying to get Heather because Tamara knew or thought that Heather and I are somewhat amicable and we could like work it through. I think she was just like, just go out and tell Alexis. Don't I don't want Alexis to leave. Just go get her and tell her to come back in. It was Heather's the way she handled it that I then, you know, reacted even more about it.
00:50:35
Speaker 1: So. So what happened was Heather comes out and in this moment, which is so interesting because you're visibly upset and Heather did make a comment and I do want to get your thoughts on this because I was curious if you felt that Heather was trying to do a dig And this is what you guys exchange was about, okay? So you say that, so Heather's like, you didn't speak to me. Alexis says, you're so caught up in your world that you, and before you could finish, Heather interrupts you and says, and spins it out in the press. And then you're like, you know what, girl? What did Heather mean by that? What comment is she referring to that she feels you take on the press?
00:51:41
Speaker 2: She will remember when they were back inside. I'm not sure because I don't talk to Heather. Obviously, you know, we were not made up. But she back inside, she said, oh, well, Alexis got mad at.
00:51:52
Speaker 3: Me because I'll watch what happens live.
00:51:54
Speaker 2: I said it was a hard I'm trying to remember everything. So forgive me if I don't have it perfect. It was a hard it was a hard invite that she gave me for the wedding. because I'm friends with Shannon and, and, and, and what she left out of that is on watch what happens live. Not only did she say it's a hard invite, she also said at another time, well, John and Alexis, we're not really, Terry and I aren't really friends with John and Alexis. Although I have videos and as a couple, what the hell does that even mean? Like we, we had been out many times, not work related, but just out in settings. So whatever. I obviously was very wrong about thinking that Heather was ever my friend. And I want.
00:52:31
Speaker 1: To say for the record, you invited her to your wedding.
00:52:35
Speaker 2: But also when I got married, she only started not liking me when the audience started not liking me. Like we were very close even during filming. We were, you know, she was trying to be there. We were on the phone nonstop. The reason she had information that she disclosed she never should have is because we were on the phone as friends with John and I with her talking about things and she had private information. And so, you know, all of it's kind of just really effed up because of the fact that she's inside and she says those things on Watch What Happens Live. And then she goes, so Alexis decides to go on a press tour and call me feckless. And I'm like, OK, I didn't go on a press tour and I'm not looking for fame.
00:53:14
Speaker 3: Maybe that's projection.
00:53:15
Speaker 2: But I went on Tamara's podcast. I simply went on one podcast. Who's my good friend and had a podcast and her name got brought up. And that's a world tour of, of press tour. No, sweetheart.
00:53:27
Speaker 3: I didn't go to page six KTLA.
00:53:29
Speaker 2: I didn't do the whole thing that Bravo sets you up for. I went on one podcast, said something that's somewhat true about you.
00:53:35
Speaker 3: You didn't like it.
00:53:36
Speaker 2: So now you're really going to hate me even more and go after me because you have the platform, whatever. So when I was outside, I'm sitting there going, Oh, you're going to take that one little podcast.
00:53:46
Speaker 3: I'd already heard.
00:53:46
Speaker 2: She thought I was on a press tour because she said it before another. And I'm like, okay, you, you're, completely senile at this point. Like there's nothing about me doing a press tour. I simply called her feckless on one thing, meaning she lacks initiative, like character, like a little bit of character. Um, because of the fact that she couldn't just say, why can't you be friends and go to a wedding?
00:54:07
Speaker 3: Even though you're friends with Shannon, I'm like, we're 50 year old women. We are, I'm sorry.
00:54:11
Speaker 1: She's older.
00:54:12
Speaker 2: We are over 50 year old women. Why the hell are we still worried about whose wedding we go to? And if it's okay, if another friend, if any friend tells me who I can and cannot be friends with, there's the door.
00:54:23
Speaker 1: Okay.
00:54:23
Speaker 2: Like I said to Shannon, but door, there's the door. If you want to tell me who my friends are going to be. So I don't know. I'm baffled by the whole scene. It really ticked me off. I was bad then. And what's funny is watching it back. I'm just as mad now.
00:54:37
Speaker 3: Cause it is true.
00:54:38
Speaker 2: It's like, why, why do I owe you an excuse? Why do I owe you anything?
00:54:41
Speaker 3: When she walks outside like, oh, why did you not tell me?
00:54:43
Speaker 2: Did you give me? If you would have just done this, then it would have been OK.
00:54:48
Speaker 1: Well, I'm sorry.
00:54:48
Speaker 3: You are not Mary of Jesus. I'm sorry.
00:54:50
Speaker 2: It's like I don't owe you anything. You thought I gave you a dirty look. Well, I think you're being mean to me right now. And I think you were just using me for a plot. Do you want me to say that? I think you were just using me. I'm another guinea pig. I'm not a cast member. It makes you, it's easy for you to just use me and John because, oh, we're there and oh, we're stirring it up. And by the way, my husband didn't even want to go. I had to pay him under the table to go.
00:55:17
Speaker 1: We're in favor.
00:55:24
Speaker 3: Literally under the table.
00:55:30
Speaker 1: And that's why you're celebrating your anniversary tomorrow.
00:55:33
Speaker 2: And we are on our anniversary.
00:55:37
Speaker 1: Okay. Cause you know how to keep a man happy, honey. Yes. I will say this cause you raise a good point. You raise a good point. And this is why I love not just having you to talk about, you know, this show, but, But particularly this scene, because I don't think the audience understands that when you see one thing, it means more than what meets the eye. I'm glad you brought the fact that in the car, Heather brought your name up. Well, you know, Alexis is going to be there because I want you guys to really understand what Alexis is saying. She's saying is, I'm not a cast member. I'm not a storyline this season. I'm just going to support Tamra. Heather took her opportunity with cameras in the car to bring up Alexis and, oh my gosh, I'm going to see her and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, which sets up what's to come. And I need you guys to put on your producer hat. What Heather was doing in the car was setting up a potential moment between her and Alexis. And that's why, guys, when Alexis told Tamara... I'm not doing this. I see what's about to happen. I can't even go and enjoy a fucking hors d'oeuvre. I can't even like enjoy a fucking chicken skewer without you guys wanting this moment between me and Heather where Heather and I live in the same coast. Whether she's here filming and she goes back to her penthouse in Beverly Hills, she's not calling me. I'm not calling her. So you mean to tell me I'm showing up And I have to deal with an argument as a non-paid housewife? I understood it instantly.
00:57:27
Speaker 2: So I was excited. I'm like, okay, John, we're out. Now we're going to go down to the montage and listen to the piano bar and have a cocktail and have a real meal.
00:57:33
Speaker 1: Like, hello.
00:57:33
Speaker 2: I mean, I don't get to try my friend's 10... THC during VN, which I'm sure is amazing. But we'll just go down to the montage because we look hot as fuck right now. Y'all did.
00:57:44
Speaker 1: Y'all actually did. Y'all look good.
00:57:47
Speaker 3: And by the way, we own that tux, just so everyone knows. Because Shannon's like, well, I had to rent him one.
00:57:51
Speaker 2: Bitch, you had to borrow facelift money. You didn't need to rent him anything. He could have afforded himself.
00:57:56
Speaker 3: He owns a tux.
00:57:57
Speaker 1: He owns two. But okay.
00:58:00
Speaker 2: So let's clear that record up too. Since everyone wanted to do it. Mention it all, Alexis. He has four pair of Ferragamo's, not just the one.
00:58:09
Speaker 3: Mention it all, Alexis.
00:58:10
Speaker 2: It's like everybody just.
00:58:18
Speaker 2: By the way, he owns other shoe brands. It's not just that brand.
00:58:21
Speaker 4: I know, when she says he went to Ferragamo, I thought to myself, I'm not counting John's money. But I think it's safe to assume he can afford more than one pair of shoes.
00:58:32
Speaker 2: All of a sudden, just hand you over $ 60, 000 for your facelift, which, by the way, after I got mine, I'm like, how'd she get that so cheap?
00:58:38
Speaker 3: I don't know.
00:58:38
Speaker 1: What did she do?
00:58:39
Speaker 3: But anyway, good job.
00:58:41
Speaker 2: But if he can just hand you over the $ 60, 000, you think your little tux you rented him one time or the hotel you helped buy one time or the shoe you bought him mattered?
00:58:52
Speaker 3: Oh, America. Get the reality.
00:59:00
Speaker 1: So Alexis, without giving too much away, what are we in store for in the next episode? Because only, listen, I know you don't like me saying this to you. So let me say it and you just sit there, okay? Alexis is that girl because of the fact that Alexis Jansen showed up for two seconds and was the episode ender and the cliffhanger. To not respect her impact will never not make sense to me. Because let's be clear, Elizabeth Vargas was there, and she has a lot to say on her podcast or YouTube channel, and nothing happened. The OG Joe was there, nothing happened. All these other people were there. Alexa Jansen could not even get past the step and repeat.
00:59:56
Speaker 2: And she's... Well, Carlos, in all due respect, none of them married the guy that dumped another cast member.
01:00:05
Speaker 1: So... But! That was... But!
01:00:08
Speaker 2: No, no, no.
01:00:09
Speaker 1: No, no, no, no. No. Let's not act like Gretchen didn't marry a housewife's husband. You see what I'm saying? Well, Gretchen.
01:00:19
Speaker 2: Oh, Slade and Joe were never married.
01:00:22
Speaker 1: They were engaged.
01:00:23
Speaker 3: They were engaged.
01:00:24
Speaker 1: Yeah, and Gretchen and Slade didn't marry.
01:00:26
Speaker 3: By the way, we found out it was a fake diamond.
01:00:28
Speaker 1: But anyway.
01:00:29
Speaker 2: Does that count as an engagement?
01:00:30
Speaker 1: I don't know.
01:00:30
Speaker 2: But anyway, um, so no, but, um, I know.
01:00:35
Speaker 1: Yeah.
01:00:35
Speaker 2: But if Gretchen would have been there, there probably would have been some kind of drama.
01:00:38
Speaker 3: Maybe they would have.
01:00:40
Speaker 1: It's just, so my point is, and that's why I love Alexa because she's so humble, but I wanted the audience to understand my girl was the cliffhanger. The fucking cliffhanger.
01:00:52
Speaker 2: You know how bad I wished I would have just not gone at all? Because I'm like, they get two episodes out of me and I made this and all.
01:00:58
Speaker 3: I get is more hate.
01:00:59
Speaker 1: Perfect.
01:01:00
Speaker 3: You're welcome, Bravo.
01:01:01
Speaker 2: You're welcome, Housewives. I'm glad that I brought a little bit for you. Now, can I please just go back to my normal life of podcasting with Carlos about other people's scenes? Life's much easier when you're talking about other people's scenes and what you're saying.
01:01:15
Speaker 1: It's much easier. It really is. Okay. Without giving too much away. And listen, like you said, you don't know what they're going to show. Is there more to come? Yes.
01:01:29
Speaker 2: And I'm hoping they don't show it, but I've heard they probably are. So we will have a very interesting podcast next week also.
01:01:40
Speaker 1: Yeah.
01:01:41
Speaker 3: The real, real behind the camera.
01:01:45
Speaker 1: Is it more dramatic than what we saw last night?
01:01:49
Speaker 2: You know, I don't know because now you've already seen me cry and that I did get really choked up and how I literally, it's so weird, Carlos, because I can usually keep my, especially being on a television show, like I did Fox 5 News, you have to be on and ready to go. Like, you know, I've done things where you can contain your emotions. It went from zero to a hundred just from Tamara going, did you give Heather a dirty look?
01:02:11
Speaker 3: Because I knew what was happening.
01:02:14
Speaker 2: Um, so I don't really know on the next, they, they do talk me into going back in.
01:02:19
Speaker 3: I'll give this little teaser, which is good.
01:02:21
Speaker 2: They do. My husband included, um, Tamara, Joe, and my husband all talked me into going back in and just said, look, you can't even tell I had such good makeup. I mean, she must've sprayed that, that stuff on really well. Cause not, not a tear penetrated my makeup. They're like, you can't even tell you cried. Let's just go back in. Don't, you don't, don't, you know, don't show these housewives that like go back in. Cause there's a hundred people that are friends with 95 of them. So four, three or four or five of them don't kind of are iffy and Carla Carmela doesn't know me. And you know, so whatever.
01:02:47
Speaker 3: So I was like, you're right.
01:02:48
Speaker 2: I have a lot of friends in there.
01:02:49
Speaker 1: Okay.
01:02:49
Speaker 2: Especially my husband, like John was just like, babe, why are you letting this affect you so much? I don't get it.
01:02:55
Speaker 3: You're not even like this. Like what is going on?
01:02:57
Speaker 2: And I think he kind of knew deep down, but then he just squeezed my hand.
01:03:01
Speaker 3: He's like, let's just go.
01:03:01
Speaker 1: Come on.
01:03:02
Speaker 3: We got this. And so then I go back in and just wait. That's all I'll say.
01:03:08
Speaker 1: So I'm leaving you.
01:03:08
Speaker 2: Hey, guess what? Bravo ain't the only people that can do a cliffhanger. Alexis Jansen can too, baby.
01:03:17
Speaker 1: Yes, yes. And we thank you for your services. Okay. So raindrops. We will watch.
01:03:25
Speaker 2: Oh, and Johnny. Oh, by the way, Johnny has a moment. Which he didn't even want to go. And he didn't even mean to. And he wasn't mic'd up.
01:03:32
Speaker 3: They didn't mic you up.
01:03:33
Speaker 2: Did you mic up?
01:03:34
Speaker 1: Oh, yeah.
01:03:35
Speaker 2: Okay. Oh, I was like, I don't even remember. He says something and he doesn't even realize.
01:03:41
Speaker 1: Oh, my God. It's the funniest thing.
01:03:42
Speaker 3: I can't tell you.
01:03:45
Speaker 1: John has a moment too?
01:03:47
Speaker 2: Well, it's because he was just walking by and said something. And then it was the funniest thing.
01:03:53
Speaker 1: Just wait. It's just funny.
01:03:55
Speaker 2: And I was just now thinking, was he mic'd up? Did they catch that? I know that they did catch it. But yeah, they followed us.
01:04:02
Speaker 3: Everywhere with a boom.
01:04:03
Speaker 2: I should have just put it there.
01:04:04
Speaker 1: Of course they did. You're Alexis fucking Jansen. Let me say it. You ain't got to say it. You're Alexis fucking Jansen. Of course they said, we're not going to have this bitch in the party without getting some audio. And they're like this. So the guys, the boom is like this. And they... Their arms had.
01:04:21
Speaker 2: To hurt because they were following me everywhere.
01:04:22
Speaker 1: Yeah. And to the point where they have to like do this sometimes. Like... Yes. It's tough. It's fucking tough. So... Alexis... Thank you for bringing the drama. Unexpected. We can't wait to see you next week. So, Raindrops, let us know in the comments your thoughts, and we will see you guys next week.
01:04:49
Speaker 3: I would like them to tell you this. Paul, I want to start with this next week.
01:04:52
Speaker 2: If I'm overstepping my bounds because it's not my podcast.
01:04:55
Speaker 1: No, please.
01:04:57
Speaker 2: If we could ask them, what do they really think about the whole Heather and me thing? Not whose side are you on because it's not really about the sides. It's just What is, I don't know, what would be a better question of how to say that?
01:05:07
Speaker 1: Oh, in terms of, okay. Raindrops. Answer this question, Spotify comments, tweet us, leave a message. When it comes to Heather and Alexis, okay. Do you think that Alexis gave Heather a look? Okay. Let me know that based on what you saw. And do you think Heather wanted a moment. From the moment she was in the car talking about Alexis to what happened, do you guys think Heather wanted a moment, was looking for a moment with Alexis? Is that a good poll?
01:05:48
Speaker 2: Love it.
01:05:51
Speaker 1: Let us know. Spotify comments. We do read them, as you know. Alexis, enjoy your husband.
01:05:59
Speaker 2: We're going to go have some fun. Say hi, honey.
01:06:03
Speaker 3: We used all the chairs.
01:06:04
Speaker 2: Look, everything is set up. Look at this podcast.
01:06:08
Speaker 1: I called room service.
01:06:09
Speaker 2: I'm like, when you bring our breakfast, can you please leave the cart? Like I need the cart for my setup. And they're like, oh, we don't have carts here. Let me see what we can do. I'll see.
01:06:16
Speaker 3: The management calls me and they're like, well, I'll try to find you a table.
01:06:19
Speaker 2: We can move in there.
01:06:19
Speaker 3: I'm like, don't worry. My husband figured it out. We're using luggage.
01:06:22
Speaker 1: We're using every chair in the room. I love it. Love it. No, this was worth the whole rearrange-a-rook. So have a great anniversary. I love you, girl. Love you, John Hart.
01:06:34
Speaker 2: Happy birthday. Can't wait to hear about your birthday next week.
01:06:37
Speaker 1: Okay. And I'll see you next week, baby.
01:06:38
Speaker 2: Bye, raindrops.
