Heath and Josh sit down with Irish actor Ben Keenan for a laid-back but insightful conversation about the long road to recognition in the acting world. Ben opens up about finally gaining momentum with his performance in the award-winning short film Contrition, sharing what the project means to him and how it’s helped validate years of hard work and persistence. The trio dives into the ups and downs of chasing creative success, especially when the payoff doesn’t come quickly.
Beyond acting, Ben talks about his life in London’s stand-up comedy scene—what it’s like performing in front of unpredictable crowds and how comedy sharpens his skills as a performer. He also keeps it real about the hustle behind the scenes, including picking up dog-walking gigs to make ends meet between projects. It’s an honest, funny, and relatable conversation about passion, perseverance, and finding your footing in a creative career.
