The Sonic Cafe: Sonic Cafe #247/Spy GUYZ! John Reese: Person of Interest, Segment 1

Sonic Café. Killing Strangers, Marilyn Manson from 2015, which is a fitting way to launch into another episode of Spy Guys on the Sonic Café. I’m Scott Clark and this is episode 247. Person of Interest, a television series aired on CBS for five years; is regarded as one of the best science fiction tales ever broadcast. It’s the post 911 story of reclusive billionaire and computer genius Harold Finch, who builds the government, a secret all knowing artificial intelligence called the machine, which spies on us every hour of every day. It’s also the story of John Reese, a former CIA operative and all around badass. Ahem. Seriously John Reese could show James Bond a thing or two. Anyway Finch and Reese join forces with the Machine to take down bad guys. Listen for excerpts that clearly demonstrate how John Reese takes care of business, baby. Mixed in is a fitting batch of tunes selected from 45 years including Billie Ellish with No Time To Die, the latest James Bond theme, plus Pink Floyd, the X Ambassadors, Patterson Hood, Marijn Korff de Gidits and more. All straight as we bring you John Reese, Person of Interest on Spy Guys, from our super secret clandestine location in the foggy, mysterious, Pacific Northwest we’re the Sonic Café.
