One Steaming Hot Simulatte Pls

Oh hey it's a new podcast one week after the last! Hold ur horses bbz this is 2022!
First things first we go hard on taking January back to the drawing board and rebranding it big time! Forget hibernating- get out there and soak up your life!
We're feeling v analytical this week and do a deep dive of The Matrix Resurrections: what we really liked about it (see: Simulatte) and what we weren't so keen on (more drama, more overt queerness pls). For the review Lucy mentions see here: http://www.reverseshot.org/reviews/entry/2890/matrix_res
We recap the ongoing queer elements of And Just Like That aka losing our minds at Miranda's 'daydreaming' sequence and not agreeing with the writers losing the balance of allowing a queer awakening without demonising cherished characters.
Plus, we talk mentioning the pandemic in media and why it gives us the ick and we critique the critics- which we absolutely are within our rights to do.
