Gunnison Copper Corp CEO Craig Hallworth joined Steve Darling from Proactive to discuss the company's planned NYSE American listing, growing Arizona copper operations and efforts to strengthen domestic supplies of a critical metal used in defence, technology and manufacturing.
Gunnison's American Depositary Receipts (ADRs) are expected to begin trading on the NYSE American under the ticker symbol GUNN on Monday, October 26, 2026. Each ADR will represent 30 common shares, providing US institutional and retail investors with another way to gain exposure to the company.
Hallworth said the listing represents an important milestone as Gunnison seeks to raise its profile in US capital markets and support its strategy of expanding domestic copper production.
The announcement comes as the company welcomed US Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum and US Congressman Juan Ciscomani to its producing Johnson Camp Mine in Arizona. The visit highlighted current copper production, the growth potential of Gunnison's flagship copper project and the role of American workers in strengthening domestic supply chains.
At Johnson Camp, Gunnison produces finished copper cathode through an on-site operation incorporating Nuton technology from Rio Tinto. The facility has production capacity of up to 25 million pounds of copper annually, supplying finished material for American markets without requiring overseas smelting or refining.
The company also highlighted its supply relationship with Amazon Web Services data centres, connecting Arizona copper production with infrastructure supporting cloud computing and artificial intelligence.
Discussions during the visit focused on the potential contribution of the broader Gunnison Copper Project to US mineral supply and opportunities to accelerate its development. The company is pursuing development and financing pathways intended to bring additional domestic copper production to market.
With its planned NYSE American listing and ongoing operational and development activities in Arizona, Gunnison is seeking to expand its investor base while positioning its copper assets within growing efforts to secure reliable domestic supplies of critical minerals.
