We’re back in Beverly Hills for the absolutely unhinged final stretch of The Shards season 1! Jillian is joined by her husband Tyler to break down Episodes 6–9, from homicidal Homecoming festivities and the world’s most brutal friend-group game to Brett and Robert becoming VERY heated rivals and a finale that somehow leaves us with even more questions than answers.
We’re talking Rilly Rhonda’s return, Susan Reynolds’ controversial Homecoming Queen win, Matt Kellner’s horrifying trophy-case appearance, Steven’s blackmail era, Tom’s increasingly alarming behavior, Brett and Robert’s shocking bedroom scene, Debbie’s black-tie Halloween party, the Trawler attacking again, and Terry Schaefer taking one very dramatic tumble.
Plus, we rank our Top 5 Homicidal Homecoming Moments, Top 5 Heated Rivals and our ultimate Top 5 “Whodunit?” suspects as we try to figure out who pushed Terry, who the Trawler actually is, whether there could be multiple Trawlers, and just how much we can trust anything Brett tells us.
We also have plenty of Tyler’s Takes, an alarming amount of Hamburger Hamlet discourse, theories about Brett’s mysteriously absent parents, and one major request for Hulu: GIVE US SEASON 2. Because after nine episodes, somehow we know less about the Trawler than when we started.
