search, paid media, and
6
00:00:16,600 --> 00:00:20,400
especially my passion for doing
digital reporting.
7
00:00:20,400 --> 00:00:23,300
Well through a tool that's
already on everybody's laptop.
8
00:00:23,300 --> 00:00:26,000
Yes that's right.
Microsoft Excel.
9
00:00:26,500 --> 00:00:31,800
So yesterday I host as Imam
Ahmad title Our topic that we're
10
00:00:31,800 --> 00:00:38,000
going to discuss PPC for
beginners and so, yeah, he's
11
00:00:38,000 --> 00:00:42,700
goes on with, it's almost time.

12
00:00:42,700 --> 00:00:46,900
it's nearly 5:00 p.m. here in
the UK and as 12 p.m.
13
00:00:48,000 --> 00:00:54,000
EST at the weather is almost 70
degrees Fahrenheit, which means
14
00:00:54,000 --> 00:00:57,200
the UK's enjoying, probably the
best heated tab for a long time
15
00:00:57,500 --> 00:01:00,300
and I will hold on holiday soon.
Life's good.
16
00:01:00,300 --> 00:01:03,600
So Yes, we have been having some
fantastic weather over here in
17
00:01:03,600 --> 00:01:06,800
London and he comes in with
question 1, I'm going.
18
00:01:06,800 --> 00:01:10,200
Remember we're talking about
your experiences as a beginner.
19
00:01:10,500 --> 00:01:13,100
If there was one piece of
advice, you wish you could have
20
00:01:13,100 --> 00:01:16,600
given yourself when you began in
PPC, what would it be?
21
00:01:18,600 --> 00:01:21,100
And we've got Doug our Thomas
coming in with his answer to
22
00:01:21,100 --> 00:01:25,400
question one saying, read Claude
Hopkins realized that there's
23
00:01:25,400 --> 00:01:30,200
almost nothing new about digital
marketing but I don't know that
24
00:01:30,200 --> 00:01:34,800
I would have really understood
that vent and then we've got
25
00:01:36,000 --> 00:01:37,700
Robert.
Brady going to learn as much as
26
00:01:37,700 --> 00:01:40,500
you can read blogs.
Go to conferences, chat with
27
00:01:40,500 --> 00:01:43,600
industry people and experiment a
lot.
28
00:01:44,400 --> 00:01:47,800
We've got Mike Flemming and
replying saying that spend more
29
00:01:47,900 --> 00:01:53,400
I'm reading you know industry
the ROI is in knowing stuff and
30
00:01:53,400 --> 00:01:56,900
then we've got eczema I'm Ed
replying to rubber Brady saying,
31
00:01:57,100 --> 00:02:00,100
great inside there Robert from
personal experience I would have
32
00:02:00,100 --> 00:02:03,300
been super nervous to try
experimenting early on, didn't
33
00:02:03,300 --> 00:02:06,000
really feel confident in
networking until I'd found my
34
00:02:06,000 --> 00:02:08,400
feet.
We've got Natalie Beretta then
35
00:02:08,400 --> 00:02:11,500
replying to question.
One saying read more spend more
36
00:02:11,500 --> 00:02:14,600
time, really mastering Excel.
Don't be afraid to reach out to
37
00:02:14,600 --> 00:02:17,700
the PPC Community then
invaluable resource.
38
00:02:17,900 --> 00:02:20,200
And they're all more than happy
to help.
39
00:02:22,400 --> 00:02:25,000
And then we've got Marks Media
coming in, with the answer
40
00:02:25,000 --> 00:02:28,400
saying s in everyone, mentioning
more reading into industry
41
00:02:28,400 --> 00:02:32,800
developments, and then Tim
Heller and then reply goes
42
00:02:33,100 --> 00:02:36,900
replies, with get a teacher,
could be a manager, A co-worker,
43
00:02:37,100 --> 00:02:41,300
someone who knows, PPC, well,
bounce ideas off them, show them
44
00:02:41,300 --> 00:02:44,300
your campaigns.
Ask questions, realize you're
45
00:02:44,300 --> 00:02:48,300
going to make a lot of mistakes
at first minimize consequences
46
00:02:48,300 --> 00:02:51,000
by getting eyes on your big edit
starting out.
47
00:02:52,400 --> 00:02:53,800
We've got John cake and
replying.
48
00:02:53,800 --> 00:02:58,300
Same, my may sound satirical,
but his real one take care of
49
00:02:58,300 --> 00:03:01,400
your eyesight.
It is going to go downhill if
50
00:03:01,400 --> 00:03:05,900
you don't know Excel well don't
start search until you do check.
51
00:03:05,900 --> 00:03:09,800
You agree with that one as well.
We've got Zak Bedingfield and
52
00:03:09,800 --> 00:03:13,100
their reply with when you're
getting started in PPC be sure
53
00:03:13,100 --> 00:03:15,600
to stay open to new ideas
tactics.
54
00:03:16,000 --> 00:03:20,100
I remember starting and thinking
that my account structure with
55
00:03:20,300 --> 00:03:22,600
single keyword.
Dad groups and everything hyper
56
00:03:22,600 --> 00:03:28,000
segmented by match time I was
the greatest of all time and
57
00:03:28,000 --> 00:03:33,300
then we've got azim replying to
I'm John Keegan saying that mind
58
00:03:33,300 --> 00:03:36,600
me sound satirical but it's real
take care of your eyesight and
59
00:03:36,600 --> 00:03:39,600
if you don't know Excel and
start said to you do and he said
60
00:03:39,600 --> 00:03:42,800
this so much Excel has caused me
to need glasses.
61
00:03:42,800 --> 00:03:47,700
When I'm using computers now and
then we've got Michael Fleming
62
00:03:47,700 --> 00:03:50,100
replied.
That's why I got me a pair of
63
00:03:50,100 --> 00:03:56,500
these um and yeah and that's in
Reply to John Kagan again around
64
00:03:56,500 --> 00:04:04,500
even I sizing and Excel and then
Yeah, when I'm Michael Fleming
65
00:04:04,500 --> 00:04:08,100
saying, that's why I got me a
pair of these, he actually means
66
00:04:09,400 --> 00:04:15,000
he, he refers to a website.
Gonna.com Last gu nna are.com,
67
00:04:15,900 --> 00:04:21,800
which is a block blue light and
digital eye strain Helper, and
68
00:04:22,300 --> 00:04:25,000
yeah, exhumed and replies with
awesome.
69
00:04:25,000 --> 00:04:28,600
Also, highly recommend flux,
which is just to get flux.com,
70
00:04:29,000 --> 00:04:35,300
which allows you to that witch.
Adjust the color of your screen
71
00:04:35,300 --> 00:04:39,800
as they get day goes on.
And then Andrew Bethel was like
72
00:04:39,800 --> 00:04:43,000
these legit and then Michael
Fleming goes absolutely called
73
00:04:43,000 --> 00:04:45,600
tell them in media different.
The first day I wore them and
74
00:04:45,600 --> 00:04:47,600
I've been wearing them ever
since my eyes have stopped
75
00:04:47,600 --> 00:04:52,200
twitching.
So yeah there's get back to tips
76
00:04:52,200 --> 00:04:54,800
for beginners.
All right, and then it runs with
77
00:04:54,800 --> 00:04:57,900
eyes comes in with their answer
to with her answer to question.
78
00:04:58,300 --> 00:05:02,100
One saying, two things when in
doubt common-sense rules too
79
00:05:02,300 --> 00:05:06,100
Over by half will fail in the
face of boring straightforward.
80
00:05:06,100 --> 00:05:10,300
Copy ask for everything help not
knowing something isn't
81
00:05:10,300 --> 00:05:12,500
shameful.
These tools literally didn't
82
00:05:12,500 --> 00:05:15,700
exist yesterday.
Totally agree with that as well.
83
00:05:18,900 --> 00:05:21,900
And then we've got his email,
I'm mad as in continue with
84
00:05:21,900 --> 00:05:24,900
saying that General consensus
from question, one is to read
85
00:05:24,900 --> 00:05:28,300
more and not be afraid to try
new things and to ask for help
86
00:05:28,300 --> 00:05:32,000
when needed and we've got a
Marcus disgusting.
87
00:05:32,200 --> 00:05:35,200
Son saying I'm hey guys, this is
my first time here and looking
88
00:05:35,200 --> 00:05:39,000
forward to meeting some new
people as thing then goes on to
89
00:05:39,000 --> 00:05:42,500
question, 2, saying, hoping you
all got, you've all got very low
90
00:05:42,500 --> 00:05:46,200
levels of years of experience.
Here was the biggest change
91
00:05:46,200 --> 00:05:50,300
you've seen in the industry
since you started only then a
92
00:05:50,300 --> 00:05:52,700
zynga's welcome mark.
This week's check should be
93
00:05:52,700 --> 00:05:55,100
really useful for you.
If you're new to the community
94
00:05:55,400 --> 00:05:59,000
we're a friendly bunch of and
that's to right Michael Fleming
95
00:05:59,000 --> 00:06:02,700
replies to question, 2 saying,
while they have been a bunch I'd
96
00:06:02,700 --> 00:06:05,500
have to go with automation from
tools and the platform's
97
00:06:05,500 --> 00:06:09,900
themselves we've got Roy.
Ma are saying replies saying,
98
00:06:10,700 --> 00:06:14,400
experimenting with different
types of goals, bids bidding of
99
00:06:14,400 --> 00:06:18,900
ads, there were so few options,
not so long ago, but yet we
100
00:06:18,900 --> 00:06:21,500
stuck to what we knew would
work.
101
00:06:21,500 --> 00:06:24,000
So that in reply, to question 1,
I'm Heather.
102
00:06:24,000 --> 00:06:29,100
Corundum then replies in caps
Network and then continues with
103
00:06:29,100 --> 00:06:31,900
learning from others is the best
way to find nuggets.
104
00:06:32,400 --> 00:06:36,500
And avoid getting stuck in best
practices that either outdated
105
00:06:36,600 --> 00:06:40,500
and outdated or don't work.
And then we've got Robert Brady
106
00:06:40,500 --> 00:06:44,300
reply to question 2 saying
movement from primary keyword
107
00:06:44,300 --> 00:06:47,600
based targeting to more
audience-based targeting, which
108
00:06:47,600 --> 00:06:52,500
corresponds with rise of social
PPC, Tim, hello, Rhonda replies
109
00:06:52,500 --> 00:06:57,100
with co-star way.
Higher to question to have a
110
00:06:57,108 --> 00:06:59,400
career in their reply to crush
your, to saying the rise of
111
00:06:59,400 --> 00:07:02,100
social advertising and
advancements in automated.
112
00:07:02,200 --> 00:07:06,500
It's targeting.
The yeah, she goes replaced.
113
00:07:06,500 --> 00:07:09,800
You up to Robert Brady, where he
said, movement from primary
114
00:07:09,800 --> 00:07:13,600
keyword based targeting some
audience-based targeting and
115
00:07:13,600 --> 00:07:16,900
we've got Mark sub L saying the
shit amount of techniques
116
00:07:16,900 --> 00:07:21,200
strategies and platform.
We need to be Adept at now for
117
00:07:21,200 --> 00:07:24,600
holistic client success.
Yes, definitely.
118
00:07:24,600 --> 00:07:28,100
Which is why attribution is
commit played will play a major
119
00:07:28,500 --> 00:07:31,800
part in the next few years
because yeah, we need to know
120
00:07:31,800 --> 00:07:35,300
how they They're all working
together, we've got Steve
121
00:07:35,300 --> 00:07:37,500
Gibson, then I'm replies with
ads.
122
00:07:37,500 --> 00:07:41,200
Moved to the top of the page.
No other single thing has had
123
00:07:41,200 --> 00:07:45,500
greater impact on the volume of
traffic available to advertisers
124
00:07:46,900 --> 00:07:50,200
and then yeah, and then he
continues with sorry.
125
00:07:50,200 --> 00:07:52,600
I should point out that I was
talking about AdWords.
126
00:07:52,600 --> 00:07:56,600
Clearly the increase in number
of platform has made, has had a
127
00:07:56,600 --> 00:08:00,800
bigger impact.
So I do have a bit of coal.
128
00:08:00,800 --> 00:08:04,200
There was a Mind way.
So yeah.
129
00:08:04,200 --> 00:08:06,800
Cushon tube is then replied
Again by.
130
00:08:06,800 --> 00:08:08,300
I'm Doug, our Thomas saying,
mmm.
131
00:08:08,400 --> 00:08:11,900
I think one of the big things
has been sorted of throwing up
132
00:08:11,900 --> 00:08:14,600
our hands at certain problems
with attribution.
133
00:08:14,600 --> 00:08:18,700
We went from, well, we can track
everything to model it and, and
134
00:08:18,700 --> 00:08:21,800
to something, where we're
comfortable comfortable with it
135
00:08:21,800 --> 00:08:27,500
being much more fuzzy, and then,
we've got Rohan, I add a reply
136
00:08:27,600 --> 00:08:31,000
saying the Facebook ads being
taken as seriously as Google
137
00:08:31,100 --> 00:08:32,000
ads.
Yeah.
138
00:08:33,299 --> 00:08:37,500
And then we've got John Kagan
coming in with intro of bit
139
00:08:37,500 --> 00:08:41,900
strategies or more, show the
complete opposite of the
140
00:08:41,900 --> 00:08:44,300
industry.
Now this is then Yahoo was the
141
00:08:44,300 --> 00:08:46,700
main platform being was fed by
Yahoo.
142
00:08:47,100 --> 00:08:50,300
Lots of small platforms.
Facebook wasn't there.
143
00:08:50,800 --> 00:08:55,200
Ask was there competitive bid
jamming and where you had
144
00:08:55,200 --> 00:08:57,600
different character counts by
Network?
145
00:08:58,600 --> 00:09:02,000
So ya azim then replies saying
that summer of question.
146
00:09:02,200 --> 00:09:06,600
Is social being seen, as part of
PPC attribution, difficulties
147
00:09:06,900 --> 00:09:10,400
changes, Rising costs of moving,
from keyword targeting to
148
00:09:10,400 --> 00:09:14,700
audience targeting a lot.
Has changed in that very true.
149
00:09:15,500 --> 00:09:18,300
And then came Dottie their
replies, then comes in with them
150
00:09:18,300 --> 00:09:21,600
jumping in late for PPC chat,
I'm ready to learn from all your
151
00:09:21,600 --> 00:09:25,400
wisdom and then Emma Frankston
comes in with them.
152
00:09:26,000 --> 00:09:29,400
Answer to question one, same
starting with joining late
153
00:09:29,400 --> 00:09:34,100
again, don't react to quickly.
Something sometimes performance
154
00:09:34,100 --> 00:09:37,900
gets funky and freaking out,
pulling all the levers you can
155
00:09:37,900 --> 00:09:39,900
find, will soon.
Make it worse.
156
00:09:40,100 --> 00:09:43,300
Small, consistent optimization
over time is best.
157
00:09:43,300 --> 00:09:48,100
Let the data direct your moves.
We've got Julie bikini, then
158
00:09:48,100 --> 00:09:51,100
reply with to question to
everything.
159
00:09:51,100 --> 00:09:54,700
And in all caps has changed at
one point or another.
160
00:09:55,000 --> 00:09:57,300
I've been doing this since it
began.
161
00:09:57,300 --> 00:10:00,100
Important to remember.
That change will be constant in
162
00:10:00,100 --> 00:10:03,700
this business.
Then we've got Iran's economy
163
00:10:03,700 --> 00:10:05,800
eyes and replied question to
same.
164
00:10:05,800 --> 00:10:09,300
The scale, when I started, it
was very difficult to imagine
165
00:10:09,300 --> 00:10:13,500
big Brands other than e-comm
doing PPC but that morphed into
166
00:10:13,500 --> 00:10:18,800
my specialization and then we've
got Judy bikini, then replied
167
00:10:19,200 --> 00:10:23,400
saying that glad I'm not the
only one who's late today and
168
00:10:23,400 --> 00:10:25,600
then we've got azim coming in
with them.
169
00:10:25,700 --> 00:10:29,700
Question 3 saying outside of the
official learning resources,
170
00:10:29,700 --> 00:10:33,800
think Facebook blueprint AdWords
tips Tickets are there any
171
00:10:33,800 --> 00:10:36,400
learning knowledge resources,
you think are valuable to
172
00:10:36,400 --> 00:10:40,100
someone starting out that you'd
like to share with the community
173
00:10:42,200 --> 00:10:45,500
and then came Dottie actually
replies to a Frank's where she
174
00:10:45,500 --> 00:10:48,800
says them.
Don't react too quickly and King
175
00:10:48,800 --> 00:10:50,600
replies.
How can we know when is long
176
00:10:50,600 --> 00:10:54,700
enough to wait before changing
things and the Franks goes with
177
00:10:54,700 --> 00:10:56,400
them?
Great question with no good
178
00:10:56,400 --> 00:10:58,800
answer.
Obviously depends on the account
179
00:10:58,800 --> 00:11:02,800
amount of traffic, but I usually
like to wait at least, Few days
180
00:11:02,800 --> 00:11:04,700
to see how the account has
responded.
181
00:11:05,000 --> 00:11:07,900
If there's a lot of fluctuation
day-to-day as sometimes give it
182
00:11:07,908 --> 00:11:12,600
a week or more to account for
that too as he replied with 2nd
183
00:11:12,600 --> 00:11:14,600
Ed depending on the size of the
account.
184
00:11:14,700 --> 00:11:18,800
Give the changes you make time
to mature and make an impact,
185
00:11:20,600 --> 00:11:22,000
and then Marks Media their
replies.
186
00:11:22,000 --> 00:11:26,900
With the question to save them,
the move to mobile was already
187
00:11:26,900 --> 00:11:30,100
happening with a greater push
for mobile friendliness and
188
00:11:30,100 --> 00:11:34,300
various mobile ad formats with
extensions are some notable
189
00:11:34,300 --> 00:11:38,100
changes and then Julie bikini
comes in with her reply to
190
00:11:38,108 --> 00:11:40,500
question.
One saying, just know that not
191
00:11:40,500 --> 00:11:44,600
everything you try will work a
at all, or be the way you
192
00:11:44,600 --> 00:11:48,700
intended, be flexible and learn
from everything you do, ask when
193
00:11:48,700 --> 00:11:51,200
you don't know.
Also relax.
194
00:11:51,800 --> 00:11:55,200
Yeah, I totally agree that and
of come across some people do.
195
00:11:55,200 --> 00:11:58,500
Like, if they're doing heart
transplants here and I'm like,
196
00:11:58,500 --> 00:12:01,300
no, don't panic about things.
Things could go wrong.
197
00:12:01,300 --> 00:12:04,500
Just see what?
Drug test and go back to the
198
00:12:04,500 --> 00:12:07,700
drawing board.
Mark's media their replies to
199
00:12:07,700 --> 00:12:10,500
question, 3 sin, reading up on
industry blogs.
200
00:12:10,500 --> 00:12:14,600
Overall, as well as networking
with fellow PPC, is Zach
201
00:12:14,600 --> 00:12:17,700
Bedingfield comes with an honest
question to say, I know it was
202
00:12:17,700 --> 00:12:22,000
recent, but the removal of the
sidebar ads and the increase to
203
00:12:22,000 --> 00:12:27,300
four ads above the gonna grease
or results was pretty huge on
204
00:12:27,300 --> 00:12:30,300
top of that text ads.
Got even bigger, I think it's
205
00:12:30,300 --> 00:12:34,700
simplified our work in a Lot of
ways and then we go ahead, occur
206
00:12:34,700 --> 00:12:38,000
and replying to question three
seen AdWords and analytics
207
00:12:38,000 --> 00:12:40,900
training classes from Cardinal
path.
208
00:12:40,900 --> 00:12:47,200
Ta are amazing for newbies, so
that at Cardinal path, then caps
209
00:12:47,200 --> 00:12:51,400
ta that's the Apparently good
for newbies and I just might
210
00:12:51,400 --> 00:12:53,200
still check that out.
I know there might be some
211
00:12:53,200 --> 00:12:57,100
things I find there that I have
not tried before.
212
00:12:58,200 --> 00:13:01,900
So my ghostess Gustafson then
replies to question.
213
00:13:02,100 --> 00:13:05,700
Said I embrace Google more at
the end of the day, you should
214
00:13:05,700 --> 00:13:08,100
embrace a lot of what Google
wants you to do.
215
00:13:08,500 --> 00:13:11,300
While your goals and there's
aren't perfectly aligned.
216
00:13:11,300 --> 00:13:12,800
Yes.
They usually want you to spend
217
00:13:12,800 --> 00:13:17,000
more money while you're looking
for efficiency and return, they
218
00:13:17,000 --> 00:13:20,300
do generally want you to be
successful, Embrace changes, and
219
00:13:20,300 --> 00:13:26,000
progress re smart bidding.
And so we've got a Frank's
220
00:13:26,000 --> 00:13:28,500
replied to question 2 saying,
definitely a move towards
221
00:13:28,500 --> 00:13:31,900
automation, much machine
learning reporting went.
222
00:13:32,000 --> 00:13:34,100
First.
But it now extends to a lot of
223
00:13:34,100 --> 00:13:37,600
management tasks, I've only been
in PPC for three years and I've
224
00:13:37,600 --> 00:13:40,300
seen a huge shift away from
manual bidding.
225
00:13:40,300 --> 00:13:44,900
Budgeting add testing in the
last year or so we've got John
226
00:13:44,900 --> 00:13:48,000
Kagan replied to question 3
saying the blog's industry
227
00:13:48,000 --> 00:13:50,100
trades but nothing beats in
person.
228
00:13:50,100 --> 00:13:53,300
Meetups you'd be amazed and
knowledge of sharing the
229
00:13:53,300 --> 00:13:55,600
knowledge sharing and education
that goes down.
230
00:13:55,800 --> 00:13:59,700
When you say hey can we talk
shop over a couple of over a
231
00:13:59,700 --> 00:14:04,200
couple bruised?
And then we've got have a Q&A
232
00:14:04,200 --> 00:14:05,500
and then reply to question
three.
233
00:14:05,500 --> 00:14:10,100
Same, anything published by
Jenny, Marvin Milwaukee, PPC, or
234
00:14:10,100 --> 00:14:13,800
Avinash?
And that's all Twitter handles.
235
00:14:13,800 --> 00:14:18,400
So that's at Jenny, Marvin at
Milwaukee, PPC, or at Avinash,
236
00:14:18,400 --> 00:14:25,600
that Avi and a sh of course this
Twitter chat, And then we got
237
00:14:25,600 --> 00:14:28,700
Mark suitable than company with
his answer with though, to
238
00:14:28,700 --> 00:14:32,200
question three saying any of the
industry resources, like search
239
00:14:32,200 --> 00:14:38,300
engine land or at PPC, hero are
always good places to learn more
240
00:14:38,300 --> 00:14:41,300
about the industry and what
thought leaders are doing.
241
00:14:42,400 --> 00:14:45,000
And then we've got it Rhymes
that I saying well naturally,
242
00:14:45,000 --> 00:14:48,700
PPC, Chad plus there's a group
of us on Reddit Facebook,
243
00:14:48,700 --> 00:14:53,300
LinkedIn, slack, the AdWords
Advertiser community on Google+
244
00:14:54,000 --> 00:14:58,400
connect with People also are
doing the same things, you are
245
00:14:58,700 --> 00:15:02,600
and share with them and then
Michael Fleming comes in with a
246
00:15:02,700 --> 00:15:05,700
chance to question. 3, obviously
same blogs, chat, Etc.
247
00:15:05,700 --> 00:15:08,000
These are great for someone.
Starting out.
248
00:15:08,000 --> 00:15:10,600
I'll tell them to go straight to
the books and supplement with
249
00:15:10,600 --> 00:15:14,100
other stuff, Mel 6X.
So, that's our handle Adam.
250
00:15:14,100 --> 00:15:20,400
L6x provides a great list here,
and that's beyond the page.com
251
00:15:20,800 --> 00:15:24,000
list.
I'll share that as a link one in
252
00:15:24,000 --> 00:15:27,400
the details of Of this chat of
isn't this Roundup even?
253
00:15:28,200 --> 00:15:30,500
And then Steve gives them.
Then I'm comes with replied to
254
00:15:30,500 --> 00:15:33,300
question, three.
CPC is just a form of direct
255
00:15:33,300 --> 00:15:35,400
marketing.
So, in my opinion, you should
256
00:15:35,400 --> 00:15:37,400
becoming an expert on Direct
marketing.
257
00:15:37,400 --> 00:15:41,400
And Associated feels like
copywriting and then had the
258
00:15:41,400 --> 00:15:45,300
Quran then reply to do a bikini
when she was like.
259
00:15:45,300 --> 00:15:47,700
Yeah.
Relax and says, relax is really
260
00:15:47,700 --> 00:15:51,100
good advice since we're
responsible for Roi and adspend
261
00:15:51,100 --> 00:15:54,200
things can be super stressful
hashtag.
262
00:15:54,200 --> 00:15:57,800
It's just a All past that people
see, Chad and I set hashtag no
263
00:15:57,800 --> 00:16:00,600
one dies in PPC, totally agree
with that.
264
00:16:00,900 --> 00:16:04,200
And then Mark Gustafson then
replies to question one.
265
00:16:04,200 --> 00:16:07,400
Saying I'd also focus on how am
I different channels work
266
00:16:07,400 --> 00:16:11,400
together and how it well ties
into revenue and lifetime value.
267
00:16:11,400 --> 00:16:14,700
Your CPA may be awesome.
But looking at those numbers can
268
00:16:14,700 --> 00:16:18,300
make a huge difference for the
business even if your CPAs are
269
00:16:18,300 --> 00:16:21,600
higher and then we got rubber
braiding then.
270
00:16:21,600 --> 00:16:23,500
Coming in.
Request request on to question
271
00:16:23,500 --> 00:16:26,800
three saying, talk, As with
other PPC practitioners in
272
00:16:26,800 --> 00:16:31,300
person is ideal at conferences
and meetups Etc, ask questions.
273
00:16:31,300 --> 00:16:36,400
And listen, this is a very
giving Community industry and
274
00:16:36,400 --> 00:16:39,500
they had Julie between he
replies to question 3 saying
275
00:16:39,500 --> 00:16:41,700
this to the community is at the
best.
276
00:16:41,900 --> 00:16:45,200
Are you agree with regular
reading industry blogs or to do
277
00:16:45,200 --> 00:16:49,500
as it will have timely info
developing resources, people you
278
00:16:49,500 --> 00:16:54,200
can ask questions off and get
general advice small to they are
279
00:16:54,200 --> 00:16:57,500
some great Online courses, like
a Jeff, a lytx.
280
00:16:57,500 --> 00:17:02,400
So that's a handle at Jeff.
A lytx have a coup and then
281
00:17:02,400 --> 00:17:04,800
reply to question three saying,
keeping up with the platform
282
00:17:04,800 --> 00:17:08,500
blogs is also important.
So important, I think this
283
00:17:08,500 --> 00:17:12,200
resource is in undervalued.
And there we got dog, are
284
00:17:12,200 --> 00:17:14,400
Thomason Ogilvy.
Ugly.
285
00:17:14,900 --> 00:17:19,800
Ugly these on Advertising has a
real good overview of solid
286
00:17:19,800 --> 00:17:23,200
advertising strategy and it's a
line with everything I've ever
287
00:17:23,200 --> 00:17:28,099
done in marketing 101.
And 15% and then gradually
288
00:17:28,099 --> 00:17:31,700
Beauty then reply to have a Q&A
where she was like, yeah, relax
289
00:17:31,700 --> 00:17:34,400
is a good advice and then Judy
replies.
290
00:17:34,400 --> 00:17:38,000
Someone once told me in one of
my first jobs, whenever I'd get
291
00:17:38,000 --> 00:17:41,200
stressed out about something, is
anyone going to die?
292
00:17:41,200 --> 00:17:45,300
If fill in the blanks, it is a
powerful way to get yourself
293
00:17:45,300 --> 00:17:48,200
back on a good track.
I had a career and replies.
294
00:17:48,200 --> 00:17:51,000
Yes, I had to learn the hard way
to not work.
295
00:17:51,200 --> 00:17:54,200
Take work too, seriously.
Not to let you take over your
296
00:17:54,200 --> 00:17:58,800
life.
#Cancer survivor hashtag stress
297
00:17:58,800 --> 00:18:03,300
causes cancer due to beat any
replies that helps been older to
298
00:18:03,300 --> 00:18:06,800
the more, you experience a life,
more, your perspective on things
299
00:18:06,800 --> 00:18:10,000
shifts.
And then yeah, yeah.
300
00:18:10,000 --> 00:18:12,200
They should come to have the
continues on, find that to be
301
00:18:12,200 --> 00:18:13,800
true.
The more experience you have,
302
00:18:14,000 --> 00:18:16,800
the more you refine your values,
online, your life and work too.
303
00:18:16,800 --> 00:18:20,300
Though it rhymes with eyes comes
into their same, their work
304
00:18:20,300 --> 00:18:23,400
priorities and then their
priorities I've always believed
305
00:18:23,400 --> 00:18:25,300
that.
But until I got to This point in
306
00:18:25,300 --> 00:18:29,400
my life, it was hard to relive
that and then Michael Fleming
307
00:18:29,400 --> 00:18:32,000
comes in, with just don't ask
your clients that when they're
308
00:18:32,000 --> 00:18:34,700
freaking out and John Keegan
goes in there.
309
00:18:34,900 --> 00:18:39,200
Honestly, this is some of the
best advice so he has a
310
00:18:39,208 --> 00:18:43,300
continuing on.
Some of the advice is here, azim
311
00:18:43,600 --> 00:18:46,700
goes a plus-one.
You guys have provided me with
312
00:18:46,700 --> 00:18:49,900
help when I've needed it, it's
like having an even bigger team
313
00:18:49,900 --> 00:18:53,300
and that's when in reply to you,
but Julie Puccini saying this to
314
00:18:53,300 --> 00:18:56,600
two communities.
The best And then, yeah.
315
00:18:58,000 --> 00:19:01,900
So yeah, row have a are then
replies to a museum where he
316
00:19:01,900 --> 00:19:05,200
says trying to keep up with
today's chat and my feet, looks
317
00:19:05,200 --> 00:19:06,900
like this and basically that's
her.
318
00:19:07,200 --> 00:19:11,500
If you give a gift of the Matrix
and around replied, LOL, I'm
319
00:19:11,500 --> 00:19:14,700
trying to do people see chat and
see him world at the same time,
320
00:19:15,800 --> 00:19:19,400
and then Marcus have sensei's.
That comprise the question to
321
00:19:19,400 --> 00:19:22,100
saying, the biggest shift has
been the Embrace of
322
00:19:22,100 --> 00:19:25,800
optimizations.
Many were are scared of Going of
323
00:19:25,800 --> 00:19:29,200
giving Google others, too much
control by letting them, do some
324
00:19:29,200 --> 00:19:32,500
of the work for you, have Scott
on a lot.
325
00:19:32,500 --> 00:19:36,200
I smart bidding, similar
audiences, Dynamic, search ads,
326
00:19:36,200 --> 00:19:42,000
Etc, and jelly Beauty, Julie
bikini then replies to azim and
327
00:19:42,000 --> 00:19:43,800
saying that where he says plus
1.
328
00:19:43,800 --> 00:19:46,800
You guys have helped me to
provide me with help but I've
329
00:19:46,800 --> 00:19:50,400
needed it and Julie replies.
It is especially important to
330
00:19:50,400 --> 00:19:54,400
develop connections if you work
by yourself or a part of a real
331
00:19:54,400 --> 00:19:55,900
smart.
Small team.
332
00:19:56,100 --> 00:19:59,700
We all need a second opinion at
times and also someone to tell
333
00:19:59,700 --> 00:20:06,400
you if you're over at over
reacting to things and then ever
334
00:20:06,400 --> 00:20:09,000
Frank's comes in with tons of
great industry blogs.
335
00:20:09,000 --> 00:20:13,600
So to PPC, Heroes, such an S
engine language.
336
00:20:13,600 --> 00:20:17,700
I should search engine land and
a twitch stream to name a few
337
00:20:17,900 --> 00:20:19,500
for both beginners and
experienced.
338
00:20:19,500 --> 00:20:23,800
PPC, folks also webinars from
platforms themselves or agency
339
00:20:23,800 --> 00:20:27,400
peeps.
And then I'll put this link and
340
00:20:27,400 --> 00:20:29,500
this is for Mike.
Yeah, Hennepin marketing.
341
00:20:29,500 --> 00:20:33,400
I put that link in the details
and don't forget, obviously the
342
00:20:33,400 --> 00:20:39,100
PPC, chat community and then
yeah, we've and then we've got
343
00:20:39,100 --> 00:20:43,300
azim continue with lots to
digest their from question 3 and
344
00:20:43,300 --> 00:20:47,100
a whole host of great resources
there for people to tap into,
345
00:20:47,100 --> 00:20:52,500
great to see so many, brilliant
ideas and links being shared and
346
00:20:52,500 --> 00:20:57,700
then yeah we've got Julie
bikini, then replying to have a
347
00:20:57,708 --> 00:21:01,200
coup and saying that you need,
emergency rates up charges.
348
00:21:01,400 --> 00:21:04,300
It's amazing.
How many crises suddenly become
349
00:21:04,300 --> 00:21:08,200
none, other than went over time
types rates will be applied.
350
00:21:08,900 --> 00:21:12,700
So, yeah, that's when she's goes
or during holiday.
351
00:21:13,100 --> 00:21:16,100
And that's where the current
replying to Mike Flemming
352
00:21:16,100 --> 00:21:18,400
saying, just don't ask your
clients that when they're
353
00:21:18,400 --> 00:21:21,900
freaking out, or during holiday
that had occurred under and goes
354
00:21:21,900 --> 00:21:25,000
and then Julie, bikini then
goes, you need emergency He
355
00:21:25,000 --> 00:21:28,300
breaks up charges, had occurred
and replies.
356
00:21:28,300 --> 00:21:31,200
Good call.
I have to think through that
357
00:21:31,200 --> 00:21:33,200
already.
Charged a hefty fee kinds of
358
00:21:33,200 --> 00:21:37,900
charges constant change your
perspective, I'm super selective
359
00:21:37,900 --> 00:21:42,300
with clients and charge what I'm
worth and then you repeat unit
360
00:21:42,300 --> 00:21:45,000
goes I have language and all of
my contracts are covered
361
00:21:45,000 --> 00:21:48,800
standard turnaround times and
that I have that right to impose
362
00:21:48,800 --> 00:21:52,700
if client insist on something
faster or drop everything, you
363
00:21:52,700 --> 00:21:55,700
don't have to do it.
But the terms The terms are
364
00:21:55,700 --> 00:22:01,600
ready there if you need to, and
then as it goes moving on to
365
00:22:01,600 --> 00:22:04,800
question for other than the
essential abilities needed to
366
00:22:04,800 --> 00:22:08,100
perform a PPC, roll.
What skills in your opinion?
367
00:22:08,100 --> 00:22:11,100
A crucial to being a success in
PPC.
368
00:22:12,300 --> 00:22:14,100
Robert Brady replies.
Curiosities.
369
00:22:14,100 --> 00:22:18,000
A big one helps with learning.
Also, the ability to put oneself
370
00:22:18,000 --> 00:22:20,700
in customers shoes, totally
agree with that.
371
00:22:20,700 --> 00:22:24,000
I think we've literally,
literally only see paid search.
372
00:22:24,000 --> 00:22:28,400
I found my The past people's
clients in PPC is just keywords
373
00:22:28,400 --> 00:22:30,200
and trying to bid on keywords
instead of it.
374
00:22:30,200 --> 00:22:33,800
Thinking about the consumer they
took human being like there's
375
00:22:33,800 --> 00:22:36,600
looking at this ad there's got
to make a decision on this on
376
00:22:36,600 --> 00:22:41,600
and how human beings are very
unpredictable as well and then
377
00:22:41,600 --> 00:22:43,100
yeah.
Heather crime them.
378
00:22:43,100 --> 00:22:46,800
Replied question for saying data
analysis in all caps.
379
00:22:46,800 --> 00:22:49,500
I totally agree with that.
Crunching data, visualization
380
00:22:49,500 --> 00:22:52,600
and translating insights is very
important.
381
00:22:52,600 --> 00:22:56,300
Being able to get give the
correct Correct story of what is
382
00:22:56,300 --> 00:23:01,000
going on in a performance is
quite key now to the Beretta,
383
00:23:01,000 --> 00:23:05,000
then replies to question. 2
comes in preparing to question
384
00:23:05,000 --> 00:23:08,500
2, saying number one, the shift
from keywords to audiences.
385
00:23:08,800 --> 00:23:11,600
It's less about what people are
searching for and more about
386
00:23:11,600 --> 00:23:15,400
serving the right message at the
right time to the right person
387
00:23:16,200 --> 00:23:18,500
and part 2.
She said the need to step back
388
00:23:18,500 --> 00:23:21,900
into your general marketing
shoes to drive business growth.
389
00:23:22,600 --> 00:23:25,500
It Rhymes it on eyes.
That's Julia Vice Applies with
390
00:23:25,500 --> 00:23:29,800
communication, to question for
saying, you need to hear or read
391
00:23:29,800 --> 00:23:33,100
when a client needs a certain
theme explained when they
392
00:23:33,100 --> 00:23:36,200
totally get everything.
I want raw data and when they
393
00:23:36,200 --> 00:23:40,200
need to convince others, you
haven't met translate, PPC to
394
00:23:40,200 --> 00:23:43,200
business goals on paper on the
phone in person.
395
00:23:44,300 --> 00:23:49,200
And then yeah, it runs at eyes.
Then replies to Robert Brady.
396
00:23:49,200 --> 00:23:52,200
Where Robert said curiosity is a
big one and she replies with
397
00:23:52,200 --> 00:23:54,700
this is so important.
It's easy to write.
398
00:23:54,800 --> 00:23:58,200
Out of those Panic emails about
littering literally nothing.
399
00:23:58,500 --> 00:24:02,400
But knowing your client is
getting yelled at or is in a
400
00:24:02,400 --> 00:24:08,600
weird situation can help you
help them and then, yeah, Bronco
401
00:24:08,600 --> 00:24:10,500
Fleming then reply to question
forcing.
402
00:24:10,500 --> 00:24:14,000
I think to be great, you've got
to work on, both left and right,
403
00:24:14,000 --> 00:24:16,000
brain skills.
So that's analysis.
404
00:24:16,000 --> 00:24:20,900
Creativity communication,
presentation organization, Etc.
405
00:24:22,100 --> 00:24:25,800
And then as the evening goes
also, if you're hiring In PPC,
406
00:24:25,800 --> 00:24:28,600
chat answers to question for
should help shape.
407
00:24:28,600 --> 00:24:32,000
Some job description, you are
putting out there to thank me
408
00:24:32,000 --> 00:24:36,800
later and then John Kagan comes
in with Oz question for saying
409
00:24:37,200 --> 00:24:41,000
if you can understand site and
then latex not media analytics,
410
00:24:41,700 --> 00:24:46,600
you are going to be missing the
boat so that is vital that it
411
00:24:46,608 --> 00:24:48,800
would be rather than goes
everyone here.
412
00:24:49,300 --> 00:24:54,100
That's in question to answer to
question 3A, regarded ppcc
413
00:24:54,100 --> 00:24:58,300
regarding Pc pc chats like
Community, all the blog's
414
00:24:58,300 --> 00:25:04,600
conferences webinars Etc and
then got Mark Gustafson reply to
415
00:25:04,600 --> 00:25:09,000
question things saying podcasts
for PPC, specifically, I love
416
00:25:09,000 --> 00:25:11,100
me.
Some of the PPC show with JD
417
00:25:11,100 --> 00:25:15,300
pratter for social Perpetual
traffic from digital marketer,
418
00:25:15,700 --> 00:25:19,900
cheer Levin and Mollie Pittman.
Lastly, joining the online
419
00:25:19,900 --> 00:25:22,200
Geniuses.
So that's a handle online.
420
00:25:22,200 --> 00:25:27,200
Geniuses slack channel is a must
We're talking over 10K in the
421
00:25:27,200 --> 00:25:31,100
PPC Channel alone, I definitely
need to get on that.
422
00:25:31,700 --> 00:25:35,700
We see Channel and my Frank's
then goes with us to question.
423
00:25:35,700 --> 00:25:39,600
Forcing a stable blend of
passion and objectivity, passion
424
00:25:39,600 --> 00:25:43,300
to drive the needed, creativity
manage, the stress and keep you
425
00:25:43,300 --> 00:25:46,900
coming back every day.
Objectivity to let you respond
426
00:25:46,900 --> 00:25:51,100
to data without letting your
emotions, interfere, EG Etc,
427
00:25:51,100 --> 00:25:56,800
test results that defy
expectations, And then we've got
428
00:25:56,800 --> 00:25:59,700
Julie Puccini.
Then saying, an answer to
429
00:25:59,700 --> 00:26:02,500
question.
Forcing creativity, flexibility
430
00:26:02,500 --> 00:26:06,000
or adaptability tact and
emotional, intelligence are all
431
00:26:06,000 --> 00:26:09,600
great qualities.
Also confidence to share ideas
432
00:26:09,600 --> 00:26:13,600
and to try things and accounts
and not wait to be told
433
00:26:13,700 --> 00:26:17,100
everything to do.
Oh, and writing skills are huge
434
00:26:17,100 --> 00:26:20,300
bonus.
Tim Heller and then replies
435
00:26:20,300 --> 00:26:23,300
with, I'd say, being inquisitive
our personality.
436
00:26:23,300 --> 00:26:26,800
That crazed information.
Someone who doesn't get
437
00:26:26,800 --> 00:26:29,800
overwhelmed with data, but gets
excited by the variety and
438
00:26:29,800 --> 00:26:33,700
complexity that.
Don't, that don't mind.
439
00:26:33,700 --> 00:26:38,100
Taking an unruly AdWords account
and taming it, Julie bikini,
440
00:26:38,100 --> 00:26:41,900
then goes to answer the question
for saying.
441
00:26:41,900 --> 00:26:45,300
I dad empathy, you need to
understand your client, well,
442
00:26:45,300 --> 00:26:47,100
and be able to find the best
ways to work.
443
00:26:47,100 --> 00:26:52,000
With each one, love the
Curiosity suggestions to, and
444
00:26:52,000 --> 00:26:54,400
then we've gone that in a
Beretta replying to a question
445
00:26:54,400 --> 00:26:58,300
for Same passion, and curiosity
a level head works.
446
00:26:58,300 --> 00:27:00,900
Well under pressure,
flexibility, and most
447
00:27:00,900 --> 00:27:04,400
importantly confidence, just
like with dating confident.
448
00:27:04,400 --> 00:27:08,400
Goes a long way as a
professional or account manager
449
00:27:08,400 --> 00:27:12,000
or PPC.
And then Michael Fleming, then
450
00:27:12,000 --> 00:27:16,000
goes a while ago, I wrote this
blog post that I think applies
451
00:27:16,000 --> 00:27:19,600
to True professions of an
inbound marketer.
452
00:27:19,600 --> 00:27:22,800
There's a lot of them.
And then, yeah, I'll give the
453
00:27:22,800 --> 00:27:31,200
link to that as well.
And then we continue with Emma
454
00:27:31,200 --> 00:27:34,100
Frank's of replying to GD.
Puccini said, creativity
455
00:27:34,100 --> 00:27:37,800
flexibility adaptability to act
and emotional intelligence or
456
00:27:37,800 --> 00:27:42,000
great qualities and also a
confidence share ideas and my
457
00:27:42,000 --> 00:27:45,200
friends replies a men especially
to the confidence and writing
458
00:27:45,200 --> 00:27:48,100
skills element.
Huge for anyone looking to grow
459
00:27:48,100 --> 00:27:52,100
or thrive in the industry.
We've got Kyle shirts saying
460
00:27:52,500 --> 00:27:57,300
take extra time to learn the in
ins and outs of GA G TM and
461
00:27:57,300 --> 00:27:59,900
Excel for sure.
There's Google analytics.
462
00:28:00,100 --> 00:28:04,100
Google tag manager and Excel,
and that's in reply to question
463
00:28:04,100 --> 00:28:06,600
one.
Actually and then came Dottie
464
00:28:06,600 --> 00:28:09,000
then comes in with hearing all
of you, talk about the
465
00:28:09,000 --> 00:28:12,200
importance created, the
importance of creativity.
466
00:28:12,200 --> 00:28:16,500
And curiosity is exactly is
exactly why I love PPC and SEO.
467
00:28:16,500 --> 00:28:19,900
What a great community and zoom
replies with this.
468
00:28:19,900 --> 00:28:22,200
I was flying by and I've got two
more left.
469
00:28:22,200 --> 00:28:24,800
So I'm going to rapidly move on
to question five.
470
00:28:25,500 --> 00:28:30,300
Uh my question 5 is is an
entry-level beginner entry level
471
00:28:30,300 --> 00:28:34,200
or beginner, PPC, roll different
now than it was five years ago.
472
00:28:34,500 --> 00:28:38,500
If so, why?
And then yeah, we've got have
473
00:28:38,500 --> 00:28:42,100
the crew and reply to question.
Five cent an entry-level role
474
00:28:42,100 --> 00:28:45,000
now is kind of like a mid-level
roll, five years ago,
475
00:28:45,300 --> 00:28:49,100
expectations to have knowledge
in multiple platforms is getting
476
00:28:49,100 --> 00:28:53,500
more and more important.
So culture, it's then replies to
477
00:28:53,500 --> 00:28:57,700
question to quickly say, And I'm
also somewhat newer to the space
478
00:28:57,700 --> 00:29:00,600
for years.
But agree with and Emma Lewis.
479
00:29:00,700 --> 00:29:05,400
Lots of automation on bidding
and add testing and then Julie
480
00:29:05,400 --> 00:29:08,700
retaining their no replies to
Carl shirts.
481
00:29:09,300 --> 00:29:12,500
He says that takes I could take
extra time to learn the ins and
482
00:29:12,500 --> 00:29:16,000
outs of GA G, TM and Excel.
And she replies with knowing how
483
00:29:16,000 --> 00:29:20,000
to dig beyond the standard
reports in GA will take you very
484
00:29:20,000 --> 00:29:21,900
far.
I always like to look at
485
00:29:21,900 --> 00:29:25,200
anything I'm examining from at
least two different reports.
486
00:29:25,400 --> 00:29:28,700
Can take points to make sure
they concur before making
487
00:29:28,700 --> 00:29:34,300
decisions based on it and then
we've got John Keegan, say no,
488
00:29:35,900 --> 00:29:40,200
the gods question 5 saying it's
yeah, the the entry-level
489
00:29:40,200 --> 00:29:43,300
beginner PPC world has
completely evolved largely.
490
00:29:43,300 --> 00:29:46,600
Due to automation the role as
has moved from got work to
491
00:29:46,600 --> 00:29:51,600
Tactical strategy, totally gray,
around with eyes replies with
492
00:29:51,600 --> 00:29:54,500
question, five, saying, entry
level for me, still going over
493
00:29:54,500 --> 00:29:56,900
the basics.
But you can Master them much
494
00:29:56,900 --> 00:29:59,300
more quickly.
There's less grunt work to
495
00:29:59,300 --> 00:30:04,100
assign but more platforms to
master Mark Gustafson their
496
00:30:04,100 --> 00:30:07,400
replies to question for saying
You must love data and learning.
497
00:30:07,700 --> 00:30:10,600
When it comes to digital in
general you need numbers to back
498
00:30:10,600 --> 00:30:12,300
up your reasoning or prove
results.
499
00:30:12,700 --> 00:30:15,900
Got to love learning and being
creative because nothing ever
500
00:30:15,900 --> 00:30:19,600
works the same way.
Michael Fleming them replies
501
00:30:19,600 --> 00:30:23,100
with to have a queue and saying,
the multiple platform thing is
502
00:30:23,100 --> 00:30:24,800
huge.
Five years ago.
503
00:30:25,400 --> 00:30:29,300
I know LinkedIn or Facebook.
Experts people focus solely on
504
00:30:29,300 --> 00:30:32,700
one channel.
Now it's a must or you'll likely
505
00:30:32,700 --> 00:30:36,900
be spread too thin.
And then, yeah, IMA Frank's then
506
00:30:36,900 --> 00:30:40,900
replies to what she said about a
stable blend of passion.
507
00:30:40,900 --> 00:30:44,700
All of objectivity continues
with also humility, winging this
508
00:30:44,700 --> 00:30:48,300
to ask for help when you need it
because we all do to take
509
00:30:48,300 --> 00:30:52,200
ownership of your mistakes when
they happen because they do and
510
00:30:52,200 --> 00:30:55,200
give deserve credit to your team
or others for Success has been
511
00:30:55,300 --> 00:31:01,700
Because yes and then yeah we've
got King tt-then saying,
512
00:31:01,700 --> 00:31:04,200
definitely interested in yours
answers for this one.
513
00:31:04,200 --> 00:31:07,800
I'm new and my role but the most
informed about AdWords.
514
00:31:07,800 --> 00:31:11,200
In my office, I have to do a lot
of self learning at a time when
515
00:31:11,200 --> 00:31:15,200
things seem to be changing so
fast and that's--and pretty much
516
00:31:15,900 --> 00:31:22,200
a comment against questioned.
Question 5 has been coached I've
517
00:31:22,200 --> 00:31:25,200
got Steve Gibson van coming in
with answers question for say
518
00:31:25,200 --> 00:31:29,000
direct marketing related skills.
I my opinion. 90% of what
519
00:31:29,000 --> 00:31:32,300
matters.
The so-called PPC techniques are
520
00:31:32,300 --> 00:31:36,300
only 10%, Ted Miller then
replies with thinking with my
521
00:31:36,300 --> 00:31:39,500
lead generation had the ability
to determine lead quality
522
00:31:39,800 --> 00:31:42,700
through basic cyber stalking
techniques is vital for
523
00:31:42,700 --> 00:31:47,800
Meaningful lead, generation PBC,
Julie bikini, then replies with
524
00:31:48,000 --> 00:31:50,500
to question five.
They saying that they are more.
525
00:31:50,700 --> 00:31:54,800
Who's then you can use to do
things that used to only be done
526
00:31:54,800 --> 00:31:57,400
manually.
You also much more likely to
527
00:31:57,400 --> 00:32:00,800
experience to do.
They expect to be experienced in
528
00:32:00,800 --> 00:32:03,100
multiple platforms, was not
always.
529
00:32:03,100 --> 00:32:07,400
So, Iran's with eyes closed.
You got to jump off, guys.
530
00:32:07,400 --> 00:32:09,600
Thanks for the Fantastic.
People see chat, as you comes
531
00:32:09,600 --> 00:32:14,200
with another one of her classic
and tag to Gifts of Kung Fu
532
00:32:14,200 --> 00:32:15,900
Panda going.
I love you guys.
533
00:32:17,300 --> 00:32:19,300
And then yeah, it seemed a
replies.
534
00:32:19,300 --> 00:32:23,500
Thanks for taking part.
And then, Julie, bikini replies
535
00:32:23,500 --> 00:32:27,300
to Kim Dottie, said, definitely
interested in yours answers for
536
00:32:27,300 --> 00:32:29,600
this one going.
I don't see the pace of change
537
00:32:29,600 --> 00:32:32,200
slowing down.
It has accelerated over the past
538
00:32:32,200 --> 00:32:36,000
few years.
We've got Ted Ted Miller
539
00:32:36,000 --> 00:32:40,100
replying to question five.
Saying for us it's way different
540
00:32:40,100 --> 00:32:44,300
just because of the expansion of
AD platforms Beyond sir Dad.
541
00:32:44,300 --> 00:32:48,800
It's a much larger amount of
training in demographics and
542
00:32:48,800 --> 00:32:53,100
then the same goes on to Move on
to the final one question 6, I
543
00:32:53,100 --> 00:32:55,100
wanted to say that.
I think today's chat has been
544
00:32:55,100 --> 00:32:57,800
absolutely brilliant.
The knowledge and info being
545
00:32:57,800 --> 00:32:59,800
shared by everyone.
In people see, chat will be
546
00:32:59,800 --> 00:33:03,200
useful for for people of all,
PPC, abilities.
547
00:33:04,800 --> 00:33:09,300
So, hats off to everyone Tim
Heller and the replies to
548
00:33:09,300 --> 00:33:11,200
question.
Five, saying I'd say entry level
549
00:33:11,200 --> 00:33:15,200
is better defined now but the
way one gets into ppc's probably
550
00:33:15,200 --> 00:33:18,000
different.
Now, nowadays I imagine a lot of
551
00:33:18,000 --> 00:33:21,400
us got into it because there was
a need and you took it upon
552
00:33:21,400 --> 00:33:23,400
yourself.
Now, I think that person is more
553
00:33:23,400 --> 00:33:30,000
built out and expectations as
standardized, then yadegar
554
00:33:30,000 --> 00:33:33,400
Thomas replies to question five
saying now, or at least, I'm not
555
00:33:33,400 --> 00:33:35,700
seeing it or misreading
entry-level.
556
00:33:36,800 --> 00:33:39,900
Do what you're told, follow
procedures rock the boat, when
557
00:33:39,900 --> 00:33:44,100
you think you have a good idea
or more on top of things than
558
00:33:44,100 --> 00:33:48,700
the procedures, davis-bacon
comes with, with an answer to
559
00:33:48,700 --> 00:33:50,300
question 3A, saying little
later.
560
00:33:50,300 --> 00:33:56,500
But Or in the words of at
Legends on the on the David
561
00:33:56,900 --> 00:34:03,800
dave' dicom even Dave is as in
Saudi a ve d y, --e c om cam
562
00:34:04,200 --> 00:34:06,500
block can be extremely you
helpful.
563
00:34:07,700 --> 00:34:11,000
I'm a Frank's replies to
question five saying again can
564
00:34:11,000 --> 00:34:13,600
only speak from three years but
thinking about our current
565
00:34:13,600 --> 00:34:16,300
training program versus
training, I went through
566
00:34:16,300 --> 00:34:17,400
definitely.
Yes.
567
00:34:17,699 --> 00:34:20,400
Much more emphasis on strategy
versus tactics.
568
00:34:20,600 --> 00:34:23,699
Include communication more
account management versus
569
00:34:23,699 --> 00:34:27,100
production.
Work needed had a coup and reply
570
00:34:27,100 --> 00:34:29,600
to question five saying.
I think strategy is more
571
00:34:29,600 --> 00:34:34,800
important in a junior role as
well as as well that if used to
572
00:34:34,800 --> 00:34:38,600
be cursory knowledge, of course
or omni-channel and how
573
00:34:38,600 --> 00:34:41,699
consumers interact with content
and all digital.
574
00:34:41,699 --> 00:34:45,500
Digital touch points is a bigger
part of a puzzle Mark.
575
00:34:45,500 --> 00:34:49,800
Gustafson replies to question
fighting entry-level PPC is very
576
00:34:49,800 --> 00:34:52,300
different.
Gone are the days of millions of
577
00:34:52,300 --> 00:34:56,000
bid adjustments.
And mostly the role is much more
578
00:34:56,000 --> 00:34:59,700
analytical.
And has a tremendous emphasis on
579
00:34:59,700 --> 00:35:04,000
strategy, must understand all
the channels, PPC and paid,
580
00:35:04,000 --> 00:35:08,400
social can no longer be
segregated and then as a team
581
00:35:08,400 --> 00:35:11,500
comes in with so question six,
cheating a little and I hope I'm
582
00:35:11,500 --> 00:35:13,800
not told of isn't really a
question.
583
00:35:14,200 --> 00:35:16,600
If there's one person whose
Twitter feed and general
584
00:35:16,600 --> 00:35:20,000
knowledge about ppc's and
valuable to you share with the
585
00:35:20,000 --> 00:35:25,700
community, and thank them
publicly publicly even and then
586
00:35:27,400 --> 00:35:32,100
We've got ya, we've go to do gar
Thomas replying to his previous
587
00:35:32,300 --> 00:35:34,300
monster say now, at least, I'm
not seeing it on.
588
00:35:34,300 --> 00:35:38,900
Misreading says, unlike you will
be more on top of things than
589
00:35:38,900 --> 00:35:41,800
your bosses because they have
other things to worry about, and
590
00:35:41,800 --> 00:35:44,200
they'll love that you are on top
of stuff.
591
00:35:45,600 --> 00:35:49,300
And then, yeah, it's similar and
replies to question, 6 saying,
592
00:35:49,600 --> 00:35:53,100
definitely, PPC Cog be caught
because he's my boss and I have
593
00:35:53,100 --> 00:35:57,400
to say that and as a gif of, I
think that pretty much Sums it
594
00:35:57,400 --> 00:36:02,200
up with the guy from The Office.
Holding the world's best must be
595
00:36:02,300 --> 00:36:07,400
the world's best boss mug and
then as evening reply to
596
00:36:07,400 --> 00:36:10,400
question, 6, a yeah, for me
there are a few but to stands
597
00:36:10,400 --> 00:36:14,700
out immediately and PPC.
Kirk is just a fountain of PPC
598
00:36:14,700 --> 00:36:18,700
knowledge and just a school in
person and Neptune Moon so that
599
00:36:18,700 --> 00:36:22,300
some Julie bikini who shares
issues she has and their
600
00:36:22,300 --> 00:36:25,000
Solutions.
So publicly which no doubt
601
00:36:25,000 --> 00:36:29,000
helped us all you guys rock.
Rock had the current anchors
602
00:36:29,000 --> 00:36:32,900
might be PC, mental is John a
lie, so that you actually join
603
00:36:32,900 --> 00:36:36,100
underscore a on this calmly and
he is a badass.
604
00:36:36,500 --> 00:36:41,500
I miss working with your boss.
We've got my to Molina coming in
605
00:36:41,500 --> 00:36:45,700
from for question 5, same from a
PCC student perception.
606
00:36:46,700 --> 00:36:50,500
There are much more ways of
learning the most Advanced
607
00:36:50,500 --> 00:36:52,900
Techniques.
Someone have to develop
608
00:36:52,900 --> 00:36:56,000
different tactics before.
There's more information more
609
00:36:56,000 --> 00:37:00,800
experience from Seniors to learn
from Emma Frank's then goes back
610
00:37:00,800 --> 00:37:04,600
to answer to question 6 saying
too many to name at this point.
611
00:37:04,600 --> 00:37:07,900
However thinking back I do
recall that PPC Kirk was the
612
00:37:07,908 --> 00:37:11,800
first non-hand up in PPC.
I started following and learning
613
00:37:11,800 --> 00:37:16,100
from back in the day and then
Julie bikini then comes with
614
00:37:16,100 --> 00:37:19,600
like quit quite a few
recommendations so that comes
615
00:37:19,600 --> 00:37:23,700
with starts with atmel 66 as at
Susan.
616
00:37:23,800 --> 00:37:28,700
E-dub at a quill defense.
A CEO at Matt Mason.
617
00:37:28,700 --> 00:37:33,200
PPC ippc.
Kirk obviously at Milwaukee PPC.
618
00:37:33,400 --> 00:37:35,900
I've got Robert on the score
Brady God Jenny.
619
00:37:35,900 --> 00:37:43,400
Marvin big a big, a little a
little e Wilcox AJ's.
620
00:37:43,400 --> 00:37:47,700
As aging Wilcox, I'm going to
Levis dwane Brown JD pratter
621
00:37:48,100 --> 00:37:51,500
reality and math.
On this court on bro, and I'm
622
00:37:51,500 --> 00:37:57,000
sure I'm forgetting some to and
yeah, I'll give all these This
623
00:37:57,000 --> 00:38:00,600
list of people forced you to
follow in my descriptions of,
624
00:38:00,600 --> 00:38:05,200
this of the SoundCloud,
SoundCloud file, and Frank's,
625
00:38:05,500 --> 00:38:08,700
then replies also from within
Hennepin at time.
626
00:38:09,000 --> 00:38:11,600
At the time.
JD pratter was the one who
627
00:38:11,607 --> 00:38:14,100
introduced me to Pieces chat in
the first place.
628
00:38:15,300 --> 00:38:20,500
Michael Fleming goes, my
shoutout goes to S SS Stella.
629
00:38:20,700 --> 00:38:26,600
So he obsessed Ella.
So that's s z, ET Ela, who just
630
00:38:26,600 --> 00:38:29,200
said Celebrated 10 years of PPC,
rock stars, one of the
631
00:38:29,200 --> 00:38:31,500
Godfathers of PPC, for sure.
Definitely.
632
00:38:31,800 --> 00:38:36,000
And I've learned so much from
the show over the years John
633
00:38:36,000 --> 00:38:39,000
Keegan goes in with yeah,
they're number of them, PPC,
634
00:38:39,000 --> 00:38:44,500
Kirk, Christie, J Olson.
Bryant Garvin big, a little lie,
635
00:38:45,000 --> 00:38:50,400
Paul underscore Longo Milwaukee,
PPC and Danny Sullivan.
636
00:38:52,100 --> 00:38:54,900
Yeah.
And then, yeah, Julie bikini,
637
00:38:54,900 --> 00:38:59,500
then remove replies to like you
When when is he did quotes
638
00:38:59,700 --> 00:39:02,100
enough to Moon as in Julie
between you say, thank you
639
00:39:02,400 --> 00:39:04,700
helping others.
When I can, when I can, is
640
00:39:04,700 --> 00:39:07,500
really important to me as a
person and a business person.
641
00:39:09,600 --> 00:39:12,400
And then Advil DeFazio, then.
Yes, he's thank you for the
642
00:39:12,400 --> 00:39:14,800
mention.
Julie, certain, certainly good
643
00:39:14,800 --> 00:39:17,800
company, and right back at you
