Packers Total Access: 🏈 Packers Training Camp LIVESTREAM! Huge Roster Cuts Coming! Who Makes The Cut?
The most critical and roster-defining stretch of the entire 2026 Green Bay Packers offseason is officially underway — and the countdown to the August 30th cutdown deadline at 5 p.m. ET is now the most urgent and consequential clock ticking at 1265 Lombardi Avenue! The Packers returned to Ray Nitschke Field for their first post-Denver practice of training camp — and the roster moves are already flying before the morning session is even complete. The Packers claimed wide receiver Arden Walker off waivers from the rival Minnesota Vikings — a quietly significant roster addition that directly impacts the bubble competition between Isaiah Neyor, J. Michael Sturdivant, Skyy Moore, and Chris Hilton Jr. for the final receiver spots on the 53-man roster. Meanwhile the most important injury update of the entire post-Denver news cycle just broke this morning — ESPN's Rob Demovsky confirmed that a Week 6 return for Micah Parsons against the Dallas Cowboys is being called "realistic" by the Packers' own medical staff — placing Green Bay's franchise defensive player on a direct collision course with his former team on October 11th at Lambeau Field in what would be the single most emotionally charged game of the entire 2026 NFL season. With eight days until the roster drops from 90 to 53, every rep at Ray Nitschke Field today is a life-or-death individual evaluation — and the competition for the final spots on the most talented Green Bay Packers roster Brian Gutekunst has ever assembled is about to reach its most urgent and explosive conclusion. ESPN
In this complete post-Denver training camp livestream and full who-makes-the-cut evaluation, we dive into:
- The Arden Walker Claim — What It Means For The Receiver Room: The Packers claimed Walker off waivers from the Vikings with two rookies missing practice — adding a receiver directly from a divisional rival who has inside knowledge of the Minnesota scheme the Packers open the regular season against on September 13th. Walker's claim immediately tightens the already fiercely contested battle for the final receiver spots — with Skyy Moore's return specialist value giving him the clearest path to the roster, Isaiah Neyor's size and red zone potential making him the most physically intriguing option, and J. Michael Sturdivant's preseason production from the Pittsburgh game keeping him firmly in the conversation.
- The Micah Parsons Week 6 Cowboys Game — The Most Anticipated Return In The NFC North: A Week 6 return against the Dallas Cowboys is being called "realistic" by the Packers' medical staff — placing Parsons on the field at Lambeau Field for the first time since his December 14th ACL tear in Denver against the very franchise that traded him to Green Bay in the most significant roster acquisition of the "Gute Blueprint" era. The emotional, competitive, and championship-caliber storyline of Parsons returning against Dallas on October 11th is the single most anticipated individual moment of the entire 2026 NFL season — and the Packers' medical staff calling it "realistic" is the most encouraging health update since Tucker Kraft was activated off PUP at the start of camp. ESPN
- The Roster Bubble — Every Position That Matters: The August 30th cutdown is eight days away — and the most consequential bubble decisions involve the final receiver spot between Walker, Neyor, Sturdivant, and Hilton Jr., the backup quarterback battle between Kyle McCord and Kyron Drones with LaFleur acknowledging the Packers may not keep three quarterbacks on the active roster, the cornerback depth behind Cisse, St. Juste, and the returning Valentine, and the running back room with Josh Jacobs' suspension risk still unresolved and MarShawn Lloyd's health history making every practice rep the most closely monitored individual evaluation on the entire offense.
- The Anthony Belton Question — The Most Urgent Unanswered Roster Decision: Acme Packing Company asked directly "what is the Packers' plan for Anthony Belton?" after another difficult preseason performance against the Broncos — with the second-year second-round pick struggling to hold his own at right tackle and the offensive line depth chart behind Zach Bako-Bewele and Zach Tom looking dangerously thin. Whether Belton makes the 53-man roster as developmental depth or is placed on the practice squad is the single most important offensive line roster decision Brian Gutekunst must make before August 30th — and the answer will directly shape the offensive line's ability to survive the brutal five-game Parsons-less early schedule. ESPN
- The No-Huddle Tempo Shift — The Most Important Camp Development Nobody Is Discussing: The Packers have run much more no-huddle and at a quicker pace throughout the entire training camp — with Matt LaFleur calling it a "big point of emphasis" this offseason — and the result is already showing up on the practice field with Jordan Love getting more opportunities to throw the ball than at any point in recent training camp history. The tempo shift, combined with the outside zone run game emphasis that produced MarShawn Lloyd's Denver touchdown, is the clearest possible signal that LaFleur's Year 1 offensive reset is not just a philosophical declaration — it is a structural change to how the Green Bay Packers play football that is being implemented in real time at Ray Nitschke Field heading into the most important regular season in the Jordan Love era.
