What do we believe and are we building our lives around it? This week, Bryan continues our conversation about the church by looking at the early believers who devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching. Through Acts 2 and Ephesians 2, we see how our shared faith grounds us in the story of God, with Jesus as our cornerstone.

We also explore how the church’s early statements of faith developed into the Apostles’ Creed and Nicene Creed, helping believers remember the gospel and guard against false teaching. These shared beliefs invite us to read Scripture together, keep Jesus at the center, and let our theology lead us toward humility, repentance, and love.

As we listen, let’s prayerfully consider where our lives reflect what we confess—and where the Holy Spirit may be inviting us to reorient our priorities around the truth that Jesus is Lord.
