00:00:11
Speaker 2: But he said call them fat man, call him fats. That's cool. You want people to be yelling at in the stands.
00:00:16
Speaker 3: Huh, just love, man, call me that turn me up? I maan, it's gonna turn me out anyway. You call my regular name.
00:00:22
Speaker 4: But I'm cool.
00:00:23
Speaker 2: Whatever, man, I feel like you don't need a lot of help getting turned up.
00:00:26
Speaker 4: Nah, man, I'm good.
00:00:26
Speaker 3: I'm motivated, self motivated man, her it comes true. Man, you got to embrace everything that you get, every opportunity of everything.
00:00:33
Speaker 4: Man.
00:00:33
Speaker 3: So I'm self motivated and where I come from for a bit part of that.
00:00:36
Speaker 4: So my mom, Yeah, she's my hero. She down there.
00:00:41
Speaker 3: You feel me who I get, my work, CAFTA and everything. So you feel I'm self motivated, I'd be ready to go for show.
00:00:47
Speaker 2: I love that man.
00:00:48
Speaker 1: You talk about that, that support system, your mom, your family. Let's go back to that draft night because you get to celebrate a moment that all y'all work for.
00:00:55
Speaker 2: Because what is just you right, it's your support system as well. Man.
00:00:57
Speaker 1: How fly was that to be able to get off the phone to give your mama hug and say we did it?
00:01:02
Speaker 4: It was crazy, man. It was wild man, dream come true. Man.
00:01:06
Speaker 3: And you know all them loang nights and the work was nice when you was a kid. You just get to think about them moments, man. So it was just so crazy man, because my mom worked hard man to help me get in this position, and my whole support sister, my brother, second mom, everybody.
00:01:20
Speaker 4: So just you know, you fe and me.
00:01:22
Speaker 3: Just to hear that phone ringing, that bringing and you get that call, it's just so wild man, so real man, because you've been dreaming by so long all your life. Man, then you just fly. Everything pay off. But of course you got more work to do. But just to hear that that phone call, it was great, man, were awesome, and you know I prayed for it, working for it. Just everything just came apart.
00:01:46
Speaker 4: Man. That was I'm just blessed to be here. Man.
00:01:50
Speaker 1: You said your mom was just a big part of everything that you are. Can you elaborate on that a little bit? And what are the things that you saw your mom do when you were going through those times where she got to pick you up late practice and take you to school early. And what are those things that you saw for your mom that said, you know what, I gotta make this happen.
00:02:04
Speaker 3: Just the way her like her work at the going to work, going a different jobs, trying to support us for Christmas, things like that, trying to get everything that we got. Sometimes you be asking why you can't get more, but you don't understand. You don't really understand till you get older. And my mama always made a way to make us happy, man, even though we wanted more, and just her working different jobs and stuff like that. It was just her and three boys, so it was she was playing that mom and her dad road. So it was just kind of it was just different. And just see her do that, man, it's hard to do that. Man, Like she created us, like how she you know, just she made us to man for real, she did a great job. And I feel like she she deserved everything.
00:02:49
Speaker 4: Man. That's my hero.
00:02:50
Speaker 2: Shout out to mom's man. Now you get to take care of her and be her as well.
00:02:53
Speaker 4: Man. That's sure.
00:02:54
Speaker 2: Man.
00:02:54
Speaker 1: Yeah, so let's go back to Penn State because you end up being the all time leading Russia over at Penn State, which to me, I want to point out because you did it sharing the backfield, which is what the NFL has become today. Right And we look at this backfield right now. We have a gay Ja, Corey Cross, Kimera, a late round pick as well that balled out last year. You have with Shaw White start free agent that we brought in. Man, how excited are you to be able to play with another dynamic backfield after being able to spend your college career with one of the best.
00:03:24
Speaker 4: Man.
00:03:24
Speaker 3: It just I'm great to be here, man, and to be in the same running backs. Them guys, them guys already, they done him before. So I get to learn from them guys and just try to tease every opportunity, get to learn from see what they see. And just I'm always willing to learn to get better. I feel like everybody got a step in their game, they can get better and stuff like that. So like I'm I was put in the first situation, come learn from these guys.
00:03:49
Speaker 4: They've done him before.
00:03:50
Speaker 3: I don't watch these guys, So it's just so it's so crazy, man, you know, I'm just I'm happy to be here, man, I'm just trying to bring everything to the table that I can and them get better. They helped me get better and just compete, man, I feel like that's the thing. You don't get better unless you got somebody in the room to help you compete and you know, just to push you every day. So I'm glad I'm in the running bout with them guys in the same running back room.
00:04:13
Speaker 4: Guys. It's gonna be legendary for sure.
00:04:16
Speaker 1: And as you said, they've been here before, much like Anthony Lynn has been here before.
00:04:19
Speaker 2: Man, that's a former NFL head coach and he.
00:04:22
Speaker 1: Led this rushing attack to be one of the best in the NFL last year. And he's a great leader. He's a great coach. What have you gotten to pick from him? Because we're only in day two?
00:04:29
Speaker 4: Were conneted?
00:04:30
Speaker 2: I think this comes out in a couple of weeks.
00:04:31
Speaker 1: You got the slides on my man, it's fresh off of practice to talk to y'all, so like, that's love right there.
00:04:36
Speaker 2: What's it been like being able to learn under Anthony Lynn?
00:04:38
Speaker 4: They've been great, man.
00:04:40
Speaker 3: He coached a lot of the little details which I feel like I need to learn on little things get better on a little things.
00:04:46
Speaker 4: I get on better on everything.
00:04:48
Speaker 3: So like he coached, he coached well, he coached hard on which I like all right, coaching it made me better, keep me uncomfortable, So him coaching a little details. I feel like I'm glad to be here with coach Lynn, a great in the back coach, and I'm glad to keep learning from learning a little details and stuff like that.
00:05:04
Speaker 1: For sure, man, And he's definitely one of the best, and you'll learn a lot. But you're here for a reason. It got drafted because of the work you've already done, because of your talents and.
00:05:11
Speaker 2: How great you are.
00:05:12
Speaker 1: How do you feel you add to what's already going right in that running back room?
00:05:16
Speaker 3: I feel like, man, first and foremost, like it's a blessing to be here, for sure. But I mean, I'm I feel I bring a different type of energy just the way my play style is. I'm always looking to fall forwards things like that and just always looking to do the dirty work that need to be done. So you know, man, I feel like I bring different things to the table and I just want to get here and learn from these guys for shure, and hopefully they can learn from me too. You know how I just bring it. I feel like I bring different energy and my play style.
00:05:49
Speaker 2: It's always right now.
00:05:50
Speaker 4: I got a lot of great man.
00:05:52
Speaker 2: We love that.
00:05:52
Speaker 3: I'm determined. Yeah, man, I'm willing to do whatever it takes for the team.
00:05:56
Speaker 4: Wow.
00:05:57
Speaker 2: Man, it's just so dope to see you guys.
00:05:58
Speaker 1: Just how excited you guys are because you're only in day two of actually being in the building. When you go into that locker room, yeah, I see Allen on that wall right there, over that jersey, over that thirty one.
00:06:07
Speaker 2: Man, what was that moment like for you?
00:06:09
Speaker 4: Man?
00:06:09
Speaker 3: It was crazy, man, because like it hit, but it really didn't hit. So I really seen that locker room that say my numbery my last name. I never had my last name on my jersey before, so yeah, it's new to me. So I'm not seeing that. It just it's crazy, bro, because it's still like it hit me, but it really didn't hit me as you feel me. But when I seeing that, I'm like, oh, it's not it's real. I want to watching commander man. So it's crazy, man, it's a drink, it's a blessing.
00:06:40
Speaker 1: I gotta imagine those moments very short though, because it's like, yeah, I'm so happy to be it. But I was like, oh this real.
00:06:46
Speaker 2: I got to go to work to make them pass out.
00:06:48
Speaker 1: You get to put the cleats on, you get to put that W on your chess man and go out on the field for the first time.
00:06:53
Speaker 2: Man, How rewarded was that for you?
00:06:55
Speaker 4: Bro?
00:06:55
Speaker 3: It's great man, because you got to represent that W as much as you can. Man, So you got to take that with pride, and you know you got to go out there and be willing to work. Yeah, you here, But now what's next? You gotta feel me. You gotta progress.
00:07:09
Speaker 4: It's not you here.
00:07:11
Speaker 3: Okay, I got here. Now it's time for me to get to work. I got to get put all the work in that I can to continue to get better and looking forward to learning more and do more things like that. So for sure, I'm here, but I mean I'm excited to get to work. It's time to get to work.
00:07:26
Speaker 1: For show, It's time to get to it, and you get to work in a new look offense and David blow offense the first time I was coordinator, and he prides himself in having versatile type players. And I think a lot of people see somebody your size, and they say, oh, he's just a bruiser. He's just he's just a back that does what they straight line, knocking people out. But if you watch the tape, if you look at the numbers, you're versatile us it comes man. Talk about that a little bit and how you can affect the game in different ways.
00:07:49
Speaker 3: I feel like that's the most underrated thing about me. I think people put this one label on me that's really not what I'm just here you feel. I feel I can do everything as a running back. I can run the ball, I can catch the ball, I can run routes. I can do different things, and I feel like a lot of people that want label on me just not what it is. Yeah I can do that too, but I'm more than just a bruiser running back. You look at my game, got great feet and things like that. I can continue to get better. But I do a lot of different things that people don't think that I can do. I think they just try to put a label on me that's not what really is. But you know it's you feel me. I'm excited to show the word that what I can really do. I feel like I ain't show everything that I really can do. But you feel me it's gonna show time with you.
00:08:35
Speaker 1: And I mean you've only been in this offense for a couple of days at this point, right, but from what you've seen so far, the conversations you have had, how do you see this offense bringing the best out of kron Allen.
00:08:45
Speaker 3: I just feel like the willer to put the work in and learning got to be able to learn to keep continues as a girl. So I like that's the biggest thing, learning learn the offense and just keep trying to learn from coaching and things like that. I feel like everything, yes with they all bad self, but learning is the biggest thing for me right now.
00:09:05
Speaker 1: And when need a building like this, I'm sure as you know, Jayden Daniels is the man, the man to the man. Everybody is the franchise quarterback and has earned that right right and so whenever an offensive weapon comes into the house, they say, Okay, this is another weapon for Jaden Daniels. Man, how do you see yourself making Jayden daniels life easier as he approaches year three of his career.
00:09:25
Speaker 3: Man, I'm just you know, it's crazy because I don't really like to speak on myself so much. But I just feel like I can make a difference because I feel like a lot of teams go out to pack the box against me. Just the type of run now I am. A lot of guys get one on one opportunities. But I got to put the work in now as of right now before I get to that moment. So it's still a lot of work to be done before. You know, I can't talk about that aspect when I still got to put the work in now.
00:09:54
Speaker 1: And I respect that. Man, I think a lot of people can. Because you could tell you're driven, you can tell you're motivated. So my last question for you, what's k Tron Allen's goals for himself this season?
00:10:04
Speaker 4: Man, it's starting right now.
00:10:07
Speaker 3: I feel like everything I do right now will translate it to the next road on the next and that have to achieve. So keep learning, man, Just put my head down and get the work and let everything else play out. Badself on the word would tell, the time will tell. So just do what I can do right now and continues to get better and keep learning, keep growing. Yeah you feel it's gon show on Sundays.
00:10:32
Speaker 1: Well, you ain't stop smiling? Yeah, you shore you should be man, Congratulations on making it here. Bro, This is a major, major step even making it to this point right here.
00:10:40
Speaker 2: Man, it's just huge.
00:10:41
Speaker 1: But I can't imagine how proud your family is of you, how proud your mom is of you.
00:10:44
Speaker 2: Hopefully you bring into some games, man, can bring it to the studio. I got to meet her. She gonna be at some games.
00:10:48
Speaker 1: Oh yeah, for sure, Man, for sure. We got Mother's Day coming up. Man, I hope you're able to celebrate that with her again. Brother, congratulations on making this fall man.
00:10:55
Speaker 4: I appreciate that. Man.
00:10:56
