Speaker 1: Rocky, this past Sunday, the Bengals completed a 45-yard pass for a touchdown to Jamar Chase, where he made an unreal catch. Beyond that, their longest pass play, 14 yards. Cincinnati right now is fourth worst in the NFL in yards after the catch. So it's great when they can throw it downfield, great when Jamar Chase or Tee Higgins can make an amazing play, but we haven't seen a lot of explosives. And the biggest reason for me is it doesn't feel like guys, when they catch it, have room to go. How do they fix it?

Speaker 2: Yeah, it's a lot of, you know, quick game and, you know, Burrow's getting the ball out of his hand and throwing to receivers that are, you know, running hitch routes and comeback routes and things like that. But, yeah, you can't just– it's hard to do that up and down the field and put together a 12-play drive dinking and dunking like that. Yeah, you need someone to catch a ball and make a guy miss and break a tackle for whatever reason. It's not there. I mean, obviously teams are playing– More cover two, they're going to play pass defenses to try to stop the big play. The cover two defense has been talked about a lot in the last couple years about how it's being used to take away those big plays in the pass game, and it's working. It's just you've got to find ways from scheme to help that out, and right now the Bengals haven't been able to do that.

Speaker 1: See if the Bengals can get that fixed during the bye week. They're in Baltimore a week from Sunday to take on the Ravens. That game will kick off at one o'clock in Baltimore and you'll hear it live on 700 WLW with Rocky Boyman. I'm Mo Egger.
