The paperwork caught up with the title. Jeff (@intheMatrixxx) and Shannon (@shadygrooove) open Operation Ghostbusters: DOJ Hits Ghost Student Fraud; Hegseth Fires Pentagon Leaker with the indictments, the polygraphs, and the ballot in front of them.
Operation Ghostbusters produced charges against five defendants and a seizure of over $750,000 in cryptocurrency. In Nebraska, Francis Magambi, a Kenyan national, is charged with theft of government money and aggravated identity theft for stealing U.S. identities, enrolling the victims as students, and redirecting federal aid. In New Jersey, Mabed Patricia Utate, Alberto Patricia Arislady Perez, and George Arturo Alpha Mendez are charged with conspiracy to commit wire fraud as money mules in a scheme the hosts put at hundreds of ghost students and over $1.3 million, with money sent overseas through a Kenya safari business used as cover.
War Secretary Pete Hegseth fired Joint Staff strategist Lt. Gen. Brett Sylvia after he failed three polygraph examinations tied to alleged leaks about the Iran war and Russia's war in Ukraine. The hosts said he met journalists outside the Pentagon to pass classified material. The case is with the Justice Department.
The room also took the Alaska Senate ballot. A second name, Daniel J. Sullivan Jr., sits on the ranked-choice ticket near incumbent Dan S. Sullivan. Polling the hosts cited had Mary Peltola at 47 percent and Dan Sullivan at 46. JD Vance said Peltola should be prosecuted for pretending she had nothing to do with that placement. President Trump called it voter fraud that should not have been allowed.
Other receipts on the air: the Obama-era probe that found some evidence Ilhan Omar entered a sham marriage, reported again by the New York Times; FBI Director Kash Patel's Operation 764 update, a 500 percent jump in related arrests in 2025, more than 6,000 child predators and traffickers removed, and a 77-year federal sentence; a Federalist account of ProPublica spending from left-wing groups on hit pieces; third-quarter GDP at 3.4 percent, weekly jobless claims near 57-year lows, and private investment in plants and equipment up 9.4 percent; a federal judge rejecting the Justice Department's bid to block California from counting mail ballots linked to more than 20,000 alleged noncitizens; Treasury Secretary Bessent on Operation Economic Outcast and an Iranian contraction that internal estimates put as high as 25 percent; the first million barrels of Venezuelan oil in Texas, with 65 billion barrels in the deal; a $6 billion Treasury buyback that brought October's total to $26 billion; and Ambassador Mike Walz on the Cuban delegation member expelled the same day after a shove on the UN floor.
President Trump posted that midterm rally crowds are five times the old mark and that Republican approval sits at 99 percent. Shannon walked the investment numbers as a structural shift, not a one-quarter blip. A First Solar plant in Gaffney was the local receipt: 500 jobs now, 700 expected in 2027.
