EDM Tribute: Coldplay Remixes 2018 (Legacy Dance Tribute)

This Legacy Dance Tribute celebrates Coldplay’s move into electronic territory with a collection of 2018-ready remixes. Party Favorz highlights how stadium-sized songwriting translates to the dance floor, reworking familiar melodies into peak-time arrangements for clubs and festivals.
The set focuses on transformative remixes rather than exhaustive cataloguing. Standouts include Hardwell’s festival-ready reinvention of “A Sky Full Of Stars” (with Avicii production), Cor Fijneman’s orchestral-house take on “Viva la Vida,” and Alesso’s high-energy treatment of “Something Just Like This.” Giorgio Moroder’s retro-futurist spin on “Midnight,” Swedish House Mafia & Alesso’s rework of “Fix You,” and the FKYA & Khøst remix of “Yellow” round out a program that emphasizes melodic hooks, driving builds, and singalong payoffs.
Whether you know Coldplay from Parachutes or A Head Full Of Dreams, this mix shows how their songs adapt to EDM and house frameworks while keeping the emotional core intact. Enjoy the remixes and the new angles they reveal.
