As the events celebrating Full Sail's second Hall of Fame continue on campus, students and faculty gathered at Full Sail Live 1 for a Recording Arts open panel discussion with a handful of notable names in the music industry – from both behind the scenes and in front of the spotlight.
Mixing engineer Phil Tan (Outkast, Janet Jackson, Gwen Stefani) and producer Sebastian Krys (Marc Anthony, Shakira, Gloria Estefan) – both GRAMMY-winners and inductees for Full Sail's inaugural Hall of Fame – were joined by one of this year's inductees, GRAMMY-winning mix engineer Leslie Brathwaite (Madonna, Bjork, Jay-Z).
Leslie brought along two friends of his that quite a few members of the audience were very familiar with – TLC founding member Tionne "T-Boz" Watkins and Mannie Fresh, the man who provided the sounds for New Orleans-based hip hop collective Cash Money Records and artists such as Lil Wayne, T.I., Trick Daddy, and many more.
