In this heartfelt conversation, Carly Brown is joined by her dear friend and integrative thyroid expert McCall McPherson, founder of Modern Thyroid Clinic. Together, they walk through Carly’s personal thyroid journey—when a life‑changing diagnosis brought fear, doubt, and fatigue—and how McCall’s compassionate, informed guidance lit the spark that reignited her health and zest for life.
McCall opens up about her own experience being dismissed at age 27 and shares how shifting from Synthroid (T4-only) to a personalized T4/T3 combo, paired with targeted lifestyle shifts, restored her energy and reversed lifelong Hashimoto’s symptoms. They also discuss the power of intermittent fasting, green juice, and sauna routines, and why mainstream medicine’s fear of T3 is rooted more in outdated dogma than in data.
