Searching for God: Interview with Brandon Ward, Episode 002

Join me, Jamie Bohn, as I chat with Brandon Ward on Growing Together In Christ.

Brandon shares about his journey to discover a relationship with Christ, to learn what the Bible actually says and find order within his soul through the saving power of the Lord. He is an author and the voice behind “Order Within”. A podcast and newsletter on Substack where he shares about God, the Bible and the journey of faith in the modern world. He does not consider himself an expert but has been redeemed in Christ and he is taking others along for the ride.

He is also a proud husband and father.

We discuss his quest for his true purpose in life which he found in the God of the Bible. Through reading the word of God for himself he discovered a relationship with Jesus he had been searching for his whole life. He found that much of what the world said about God was never true to begin with. His excitement about learning what God really says is palpable through his writing and his podcasts.

He speaks on what many people experience: fear of a God they never truly knew, wondering where they fit in, in the world and if there is a God, why a good God allows suffering and so much more.

He touches on a very important topic- Attacks from other Christians,, as he shares what he is learning from reading the Bible for himself.

We discuss the importance of knowing the enemy and that it isn’t as simple as what is portrayed by the world. Spiritual forces of evil are very real and cannot be denyed, but God is bigger and He always wins.
