In Part 2 of the disappearance of Aaron Hedges, the search shifts into an investigation as authorities begin taking a closer look at the accounts given by Joe Depew and Greg Leitner. Inconsistencies in their story, the delay in reporting Aaron missing, and questions about where they had really been hunting all come under scrutiny. Then, months later, Aaron’s belongings begin turning up miles from where anyone expected him to be, followed by the discovery that would finally reveal his fate. But even with Aaron found, the biggest questions remain: why did he keep moving farther into the mountains, why did he abandon critical gear along the way, and what ultimately prevented him from making it out alive?
