- Crime reporter John DiPietro joins Greta Van Susteren from the Lindsay Clancy trial, describing an unusually emotional courtroom as jurors weigh the deaths of Clancy’s three children against her documented mental-health history.
- The case centers on competing expert testimony over whether Clancy experiences psychosis and hears a commanding voice telling her to kill her children.
- Prosecutors’ rebuttal psychiatrist Dr. Avram Mack testifies that Clancy remains capable of understanding right from wrong and does not display many symptoms he associates with psychosis.
- DiPietro says Clancy’s seemingly normal behavior on the day of the killings—including taking her daughter to an appointment, ordering food and making phone calls—becomes a key part of the prosecution’s argument.
- The defense rests as the trial heads toward closing arguments, while a GoFundMe benefiting Clancy’s family surpasses $1 million and public attention around the case intensifies.
