00:01:02.640 --> 00:01:11.439
We release this auction every other Thursday and we run an online auction um the last Wednesday of each month.
00:01:11.519 --> 00:01:14.239
So I'll be sure to subscribe at godanycals.com.
00:01:14.400 --> 00:01:19.120
So quick update on I guess happenings here at the ranch and and all of what's going on here.
00:01:19.200 --> 00:01:21.359
Uh we are right in the middle of calving season.
00:01:21.439 --> 00:01:24.079
So we calve primarily in September and October.
00:01:24.159 --> 00:01:28.239
Um, we're here in western Idaho, so we'd be counter-cyclical to most people.
00:01:28.400 --> 00:01:31.359
Most most ranches around here are going to calve more so in the spring.
00:01:31.519 --> 00:01:38.000
We do primarily a fall calving program because that lets us do our embryo transfer work, which is the center of our business.
00:01:38.159 --> 00:01:39.760
We do that in December and January.
00:01:39.840 --> 00:01:48.319
So mid-winter, when the cattle are in and handy anyway, we can do all of that embryo transfer work, do all of that AI work, and then we calve primarily September, October.
00:01:48.400 --> 00:01:52.159
So that's been the busiest part of the last 30 days or so.
00:01:52.400 --> 00:01:56.400
I was also able to sneak away there for just a couple of days and and run just up the road.
00:01:56.480 --> 00:02:11.919
My family likes to do a quick getaway each fall, kind of between the the heaviest chunk of calving, and but before we bring cattle in and start breeding them back, we we try to get away for a few days, run just up to Lava Hot Springs, just just an hour north of us here, close enough that we can maintain our sanity.
00:02:12.080 --> 00:02:17.120
Taking our our young kids, my my kids range from a seven-year-old to a newborn, uh, and there's four of them.
00:02:17.280 --> 00:02:28.960
And we can uh we can maintain our sanity on that short of a run, but the kids just love that, and and that is really fun to go go do some swimming, go uh go eat at some restaurants and go enjoy some time there as a family.
00:02:29.039 --> 00:02:32.159
So also had uh some visitors that came in just yesterday.
00:02:32.240 --> 00:02:35.120
We had Toby and Deidra Payne made the trip up from Texas.
00:02:35.360 --> 00:02:39.680
Appreciate you, Toby and Deidra, taking the time to come up and making that flight, making that drive.
00:02:39.759 --> 00:02:42.879
And I always enjoy having people here in in person.
00:02:43.120 --> 00:02:46.240
Um, it is always wonderful to be able to show people the cattle in person.
00:02:46.319 --> 00:02:49.599
I will show you as much as I possibly can via via video.
00:02:49.680 --> 00:02:56.879
We we show as much of the ranch as we can, as many of the cattle as we can, but there's just no beating um being here in person, being here live.
00:02:57.039 --> 00:03:00.080
Would invite anyone that has any interest in coming out to the ranch.
00:03:00.240 --> 00:03:00.800
Please do.
00:03:00.879 --> 00:03:02.159
Um please reach out to me.
00:03:02.240 --> 00:03:05.039
You're welcome to call, text, email, message.
00:03:05.120 --> 00:03:08.879
Uh my phone number is 208-589-9988.
00:03:09.039 --> 00:03:19.759
Let me know when to expect you, and and uh we'll take you through the cattle, show you some good cattle, feed you a great Akiushi steak, really enjoyed uh looking at cattle and eating steak with Toby and Deidre yesterday.
00:03:20.000 --> 00:03:20.800
Fun to have them here.
00:03:20.960 --> 00:03:23.280
Visitors are always welcome at the ranch.
00:03:23.360 --> 00:03:26.800
So this podcast functions as a video catalog.
00:03:26.879 --> 00:03:37.840
So basically, what you'll end up seeing here is rather than us running a traditional auction where you would say, hey, everybody gets together on one day of the year and looks at the cattle in person to make that purchase.
00:03:38.000 --> 00:03:41.680
Well, if that one day of the year doesn't work for you, you're kind of out of luck in that kind of a format.
00:03:41.759 --> 00:03:45.759
So we do offer online auctions each month, the last Wednesday of each month.
00:03:45.919 --> 00:03:52.080
And this podcast, we alternate between guest interview episodes and episodes with the cattle.
00:03:52.159 --> 00:04:01.840
So I've got the cattle right here behind me today, some of which we're going to be selling, some of which we're gonna be selling IVF aspirations on, uh, some of the bowls that we'll be selling semen on, different things like that.
00:04:02.000 --> 00:04:13.599
Um, but hopefully be able to provide value to you whether you're looking to buy or whether you're just looking to inform yourself, especially relative to the Ake Usi or Red Wagyu breed, which we have a lot of stacked up behind me here today.
00:04:13.759 --> 00:04:17.199
Um, be happy to kind of walk you through those cattle and give you a feel for what they are.
00:04:17.279 --> 00:04:19.680
But this podcast does function as a video catalog.
00:04:19.759 --> 00:04:43.040
So rather than just having pictures and footnotes in a in a physical catalog, or rather than just saying you have to come in person to see the cattle in person, uh, we do this as a video catalog where you see the cattle right here, just exactly as if you're in the pickup with me, and I walk you right through them and kind of what they are, how I bred them, why they why I have engaged in those genetics, and and why I'd recommend that someone else do the same.
00:04:43.120 --> 00:04:46.720
And so hopefully something informative whether you're looking to buy or not.
00:04:46.879 --> 00:04:52.560
Um, so this month's auction will open the day this podcast is released, which will be October 15th this month.
00:04:52.800 --> 00:04:53.519
Bid early.
00:04:53.600 --> 00:04:55.360
The prices will never be that low again.
00:04:55.439 --> 00:04:59.439
You'll get text reminders if you bid early on that smart auctions platform.
00:04:59.600 --> 00:05:05.439
Uh, these live lots do include free delivery anywhere in the continental United States in the bid price.
00:05:05.519 --> 00:05:06.959
So don't worry about how to get them home.
00:05:07.040 --> 00:05:07.839
We'll take care of that.
00:05:07.920 --> 00:05:09.680
We will cover that cost on our end.
00:05:09.839 --> 00:05:14.000
And mark in your calendar, be there October 28th at 6 p.m.
00:05:14.160 --> 00:05:15.040
Mountain time for closing.
00:05:15.120 --> 00:05:17.040
So that's going to be the last Wednesday of the month.
00:05:17.120 --> 00:05:19.920
It's the last Wednesday of each month is when we close these auctions.
00:05:20.079 --> 00:05:22.079
Mark in your calendar to be there for closing.
00:05:22.240 --> 00:05:41.759
So, and yeah, you know, one thing I wanted to talk about, uh just a good conversation I'd had in the last month that I wanted to mention here on the podcast, um, was chatting with my friend Glenn Sol, and he was talking about uh his boy, uh, you know, and looking at some opportunities in the in the cattle marketplace, and and was wondering kind of, you know, where where's the best place would where would you where would you tell your your son to put money, you know?
00:05:41.839 --> 00:05:45.199
And I thought really valid question and appreciated Glenn making that call.
00:05:45.279 --> 00:05:51.040
And and I was just thinking about that, where would I tell my son to put his money in in the in the cattle business today?
00:05:51.279 --> 00:05:59.839
Um and you know, I think one of the unique things about the current market environment is that right now the cattle market uh is at all-time highs.
00:05:59.920 --> 00:06:02.800
So your commercial cattle are worth more than they have ever been worth.
00:06:02.959 --> 00:06:13.920
Uh, so what you kind of see as far as a unique environment right now is that the the high end of uh commercial cattle are overlapping with with what you'd pay for registered stock.
00:06:14.000 --> 00:06:21.199
And so what I would recommend to somebody that's saying, hey, you know, if I was gonna borrow a dollar and spend it on a cow, what cow do I spend it on?
00:06:21.360 --> 00:06:27.199
I would not be buying commercial cows at all-time market highs, frankly, because it will go back the other way.
00:06:27.360 --> 00:06:29.519
We got a hundred years of data that says it will.
00:06:29.680 --> 00:06:45.279
Um, and I'm I can't tell you how far how fast, but I can tell you that those commercial cattle will lose money at some point as far as losing losing equity or losing value, uh, as far as what you pay for those cows today versus what the average commercial cow is going to be worth in a couple of years.
00:06:45.439 --> 00:07:02.720
But the opportunity I would say in that marketplace is saying, hey, you can buy registered cattle at similar figures to some of what these commercial cattle are trading at, what that turns into, for example, farm service agency, FSA, Farm Service Agency, will only ever loan you if you if you borrow through them.
00:07:02.800 --> 00:07:11.120
If you do, if you do one of the loan programs they have for youth or whatever else, or or they have loan programs if you're not able to qualify for a conventional note, different pieces like that.
00:07:11.279 --> 00:07:17.519
But if you work with FSA or the Farm Service Agency, they will only ever loan you commercial values for cattle.
00:07:17.600 --> 00:07:21.040
They will not loan you like it, doesn't matter what you're doing in registered stock.
00:07:21.120 --> 00:07:22.959
They are not gonna, a cow's a cow to them.
00:07:23.040 --> 00:07:26.000
It does not matter what cow she is, it does not matter how they're bred.
00:07:26.160 --> 00:07:32.000
So the challenge with that is in a normal year, they're gonna value a cow at 1,500 bucks.
00:07:32.160 --> 00:07:35.439
And a registered cow is worth a lot more than 1,500 bucks.
00:07:35.519 --> 00:07:40.240
But on a year like this year, there's plenty of commercial cattle trading for$5,000 plus.
00:07:40.319 --> 00:07:47.600
And you know, if you watch close, you can get on occasion a quality registered cow bought for five to seven thousand dollars.
00:07:47.759 --> 00:08:05.120
And if you can do that, if you say, hey, look, I can go borrow commercial money but buy registered cows, the beauty of that is instead of the market falling out from under you and you're losing equity faster than you're paying off cows, you're getting high quality cows bought with money that wouldn't normally be available to you.
00:08:05.199 --> 00:08:05.680
Does that make sense?
00:08:05.759 --> 00:08:10.720
I guess you're borrowing commercial money but buying registered cows because they're at the same figures.
00:08:10.879 --> 00:08:20.399
You're still within the requirements of something like an FSA program, but you're able to get something that isn't going to devalue quickly, uh, like what the commercial cattle will do.
00:08:20.560 --> 00:08:26.879
Because a cow is just a cow, unless they are something like a registered cow or of known origin or or that fits a specific niche in the marketplace.
00:08:26.959 --> 00:08:40.240
So I would recommend if it was my son, uh, you know, I'd say, hey, if you were gonna borrow a dollar today from FSA to go buy a buy a cow, um, I'd buy a registered cow because you can get them at commercial money today because of those current market dynamics.
00:08:40.480 --> 00:08:43.440
Um, you know, and and I would, I'd recommend too.
00:08:43.519 --> 00:08:45.200
I'd I'd start sooner than later, you know.
00:08:45.279 --> 00:09:11.679
I mean, another some interesting things that I've listened to this month, you know, talking about uh so I've been listening to John Haskell a little bit there at RanchRite, and he's been talking about, you know, compounding money, the time value of money, cash flowing assets, meaning if you put money into something like a cow that is a cash flow generating asset, you put it in now, it's gonna make you way more money than if you wait two, five, ten, twenty years or whatever else to go ahead and get that first cow bot.
00:09:11.759 --> 00:09:23.759
If you can have that one cow become two, become four, become eight, become sixteen, the sooner you start that process, the sooner you your those those uh cash flowing assets start to compound and that time value of money goes to work for you.
00:09:23.919 --> 00:09:24.720
Um, so I would.
00:09:24.799 --> 00:09:25.600
I wouldn't wait.
00:09:25.679 --> 00:09:28.240
I'd recommend get going ahead and getting the cows bought.
00:09:28.399 --> 00:09:35.039
A cow bought today is gonna do a lot more long-term good for you, especially if you go and buy the right kind of cow that's not gonna devalue on you.
00:09:35.120 --> 00:09:46.399
You go and buy a high quality cow and and one that's gonna serve you well and that you want to retain the offspring from, but buying her now is gonna do you more good than buying her in one, two, five, ten, twenty years.
00:09:46.559 --> 00:09:56.000
Um, one other thing I would mention there too, you know, um I was listening to a web webinar from uh from Ag West uh from Dr.
00:09:56.080 --> 00:09:56.720
Cole, Dr.
00:09:56.799 --> 00:10:04.000
Dave Cole, you know, and and he was talking about inflation, you know, and and how things continue to get more expensive in that sense.
00:10:04.080 --> 00:10:11.279
And, you know, get your money into into cows that can appreciate in value for you or start multiplying for you rather than having your money sit.
00:10:11.360 --> 00:10:14.799
If your money sat just as money, frankly, the money is devaluing.
00:10:14.879 --> 00:10:23.519
Like if the cash just sat as cash and it's not going to work for you, it's not going into a cash-flowing asset, it's not going into a multiplying asset.
00:10:23.600 --> 00:10:29.279
Um, you know, I mean, if I had waited until now to buy my first cow, I'd still just have a cow.
00:10:29.440 --> 00:10:35.120
But I bought a cow 20 some odd years ago ago, and now I have hundreds of cows.
00:10:35.279 --> 00:10:39.600
And it's not near so much a function of any particular brilliance on my part.
00:10:39.759 --> 00:10:49.679
It really comes down to I started very, very young and I got into cattle early and I let those cattle multiply and I let that cash flow, I reinvested that cash flow.
00:10:49.840 --> 00:10:54.000
Um, I didn't go straight into spending every dollar we ever earned off it.
00:10:54.080 --> 00:10:58.080
I continued to reinvest and multiply and grow and build that herd.
00:10:58.159 --> 00:11:10.799
And so, really, what has put us in a happy position today, I guess, to make a living in cattle, doing something I enjoy doing, is a function of getting started, getting started early, but getting started early with quality cattle.
00:11:10.879 --> 00:11:20.000
So, anyway, a couple of conversations there between my my chat with Glenn or or some of what I'd listened to uh from John Haskell or from Dave Cole, all of those thoughts coming together.
00:11:20.080 --> 00:11:36.639
Anyway, just something I wanted to mention here between the overview of of kind of what's gone on the last month, but before I get into what all we're gonna be selling this month, um, I'd go ahead and get get into registered cattle and I'd do it sooner than later so that that that money can go to work for you and go further.
00:11:36.799 --> 00:11:39.519
The sooner you buy them, the sooner they start multiplying for you.
00:11:39.600 --> 00:11:41.279
So something I wanted to throw in right there.
00:11:41.440 --> 00:11:45.600
I'm gonna take you through some of these cattle that are right here in the pen behind me.
00:11:45.759 --> 00:11:49.840
The cow that is nearest the truck right now is gonna be the D40 cow.
00:11:49.919 --> 00:11:53.759
So D40 has been a donor for us here at Christensen Genetics.
00:11:53.840 --> 00:11:57.200
That female is American Wagyu Association registered.
00:11:57.360 --> 00:12:07.600
Um so what that means is those American Wagyu Association registered cattle can also be registered in the American Akiushi Association and in the Australian Wagyu Association.
00:12:07.759 --> 00:12:08.720
The inverse is not true.
00:12:08.879 --> 00:12:17.279
So the beauty of having something that is registered with the American Wagyu Association, it keeps your options wide open to work with any of the associations, uh, wherever you'd prefer.
00:12:17.440 --> 00:12:25.600
Um, this female has been the cornerstone, one of the cornerstones of our Kunasaki maternal line, our kunyaso maternal line here at Christensen Genetics.
00:12:25.679 --> 00:12:27.919
This is a really clean foundation pedigree.
00:12:28.000 --> 00:12:32.240
So this female is gonna be a big owl over Hikari over Kunasaki.
00:12:32.639 --> 00:12:37.279
And so what you're gonna see with a female like that, and again, the female nearest the truck, is the one we're looking at.
00:12:37.360 --> 00:12:40.480
There's three females in the pen that are in the pen right here behind me.
00:12:40.559 --> 00:12:47.200
We're looking at the cow nearest the truck, um, giving us a really good view as to what she is and kind of some of the strengths that we see from this cow.
00:12:47.360 --> 00:12:49.440
This is gonna be a really long-bodied cow.
00:12:49.600 --> 00:12:54.399
This is gonna be a cow that's got a little bit more frame, a little bit more extension, a little bit more size.
00:12:54.559 --> 00:13:02.879
And the beauty of a cow like this, if you're looking to add a little bit of that frame, that stretch, that size, but then with a pedigree that is so, so unique in the breed today.
00:13:03.039 --> 00:13:08.720
Now, when we look at the Akuchi breed at large, there were only ever 13 cows and six bulls that left Japan.
00:13:08.799 --> 00:13:13.200
So, what that turns into is a really, really, really finite gene pool to work with.
00:13:13.360 --> 00:13:23.519
So, if we're looking for added genetic breadth, we're trying to bring some of those original import females, especially right to the front of the pedigree because frankly, those six bulls you can still get semen on.
00:13:23.600 --> 00:13:26.320
It's expensive, but you can still get semen on them.
00:13:26.480 --> 00:13:29.360
The cows, by contrast, are dead and gone.
00:13:29.519 --> 00:13:35.440
Most all those cows that came in from Japan in the 90s would be when they arrived in the 1990s.
00:13:35.679 --> 00:13:37.600
Those cows are dead and gone.
00:13:37.759 --> 00:13:39.279
Their daughters are dead and gone.
00:13:39.440 --> 00:13:41.360
Most all of their granddaughters are dead and gone.
00:13:41.440 --> 00:13:54.159
And so, to get a female like this that is a granddaughter of one of the original import cows in that Kunasaki female gives you a really unique pedigree and just gives you more room to work as far as additional pedigree breadth when you take a look at this.
00:13:54.320 --> 00:14:01.600
The other benefit you're gonna get from this cow that's standing in nearest the truck right now, she is confirmed pregnant to the Maestro bowl.
00:14:01.679 --> 00:14:04.799
So, Maestro is a bowl that we have not released semen on yet.
00:14:04.879 --> 00:14:12.639
So the only way to access Maestro Genetics at this point in time is to buy a confirmed bred female from Christiansen Genetics.
00:14:12.720 --> 00:14:14.080
It's the only place you can get it.
00:14:14.240 --> 00:14:17.759
The Maestro bowl is incredibly unique from a pedigree standpoint.
00:14:18.159 --> 00:14:24.559
Maestro is going to be a son of Master Chef and the Katie Maru clone that we have here at Christiansen Genetics.
00:14:24.639 --> 00:14:29.519
So, Master Chef, the Sire, gonna be a bowl that costs thousands per straw, if you can find it.
00:14:29.600 --> 00:14:31.759
It's a bowl that adds a ton of gainability to him.
00:14:31.919 --> 00:14:35.360
Came in, was imported, the semen was imported from Australia.
00:14:35.600 --> 00:14:43.279
That's gonna be a bowl that adds a lot of gainability, in addition to being a direct grandson on the top side of the pedigree of the original import cow Ume.
00:14:43.519 --> 00:14:52.559
So if we're looking to bring that Ume cow to the front of the pedigree, if we're looking to bring something rare and valuable on the sire side of the pedigree and that growth, that's what the Master Chef side of that deal does.
00:14:52.720 --> 00:14:59.440
And then if you take a look at the Katie Maru cow, Katie Maru is gonna be, I mean, she's thick, she's stout, she's impressive.
00:14:59.519 --> 00:15:01.279
She is the cow that people come here to see.
00:15:01.440 --> 00:15:03.279
They come take pictures with that cow.
00:15:03.519 --> 00:15:08.720
Super well-mannered kind of a cow, exceptionally good mannered, exceptional from a pedigree standpoint.
00:15:08.799 --> 00:15:16.000
She'd be a direct the only um that cow is gonna be uh direct daughter of the Daitan Mitsumaru bull.
00:15:16.240 --> 00:15:18.000
Um, and so that bull never left Japan.
00:15:18.159 --> 00:15:20.000
Semen from that bull never left Japan.
00:15:20.080 --> 00:15:24.480
Uh, she's a clone of the original cow Katie Maru, who produced the Umamaru bull.
00:15:24.720 --> 00:15:33.120
Um, and Mow is gonna be our number one all-time uh Akiyushi cow for actual carcass ultrasound as far as the amount of marbling.
00:15:33.200 --> 00:15:39.440
So you're gonna get great dispositions, great muscle, great marbling, all from the bottom side of that pedigree in that maestro bowl.
00:15:39.519 --> 00:15:43.200
And Maestro is the service sire of this cow that we're looking at here.
00:15:43.279 --> 00:15:50.559
This cow that's nearest the truck right now to be the D40 cow, which is gonna be lot one in this October auction, is the D40 donor.
00:15:50.879 --> 00:15:57.440
And a female like that is one that absolutely can go and make a ranch money, can absolutely be a cow that you build around.
00:15:57.600 --> 00:16:03.440
This is a cow that we have built around here that we have used to make embryos, um, that we have got sons of, daughters of.
00:16:03.600 --> 00:16:07.919
We've got enough of this cow here to add that pedigree breadth to our program.
00:16:08.240 --> 00:16:10.960
Want to provide the opportunity for another program to do the same.
00:16:11.120 --> 00:16:12.799
There's still plenty of life in this cow.
00:16:12.879 --> 00:16:22.320
You can take a look at her and see that she is doing well, she's in good flesh, she's strong topped, she's large outlined, she comes with free delivery anywhere in the continental United States included.
00:16:22.559 --> 00:16:25.039
Absolutely a cow that you can get your money's worth out of.
00:16:25.200 --> 00:16:27.120
She kind of getting two for the price of one.
00:16:27.200 --> 00:16:33.120
You've got a bull calf in the belly, sired by Maestro, due for February 27th, is when she's gonna calve.
00:16:33.200 --> 00:16:38.480
And then this female herself is American Wagyu Association registered, big Al over Hikari over Kunasaki.
00:16:38.799 --> 00:16:41.600
Um, you can absolutely get your money's worth out of a cow like that.
00:16:41.679 --> 00:16:43.360
That is a donor caliber cow.
00:16:43.440 --> 00:16:46.399
She has been a donor here, deserves to be a donor wherever she goes.
00:16:46.480 --> 00:16:48.720
Uh, take a look at lot one D40.
00:16:48.879 --> 00:16:55.679
Now, the other two females that are in the pen, I'm gonna just kind of take a look at them as far as how well we can see them right now.
00:16:55.759 --> 00:16:59.360
So the female on the far left, we can see about three-quarters of her right now.
00:16:59.440 --> 00:17:01.039
All three of them are penned there together.
00:17:01.200 --> 00:17:08.079
The far left female, the dark red female of these three, um, would be the one that we can see second best in the pen as it sits right now.
00:17:08.240 --> 00:17:13.200
We can at least see the business end of that cow and get a good feel for it for what she looks like and who she is.
00:17:13.359 --> 00:17:17.680
That dark red female on the far left there is gonna be the 3370 donor.
00:17:17.839 --> 00:17:23.599
Um, and lot 11 in this auction is gonna be an IVF aspiration of that 3370.
00:17:23.759 --> 00:17:24.880
Took an incredible picture.
00:17:24.960 --> 00:17:26.319
I'll have Jacob throw that up here.
00:17:26.400 --> 00:17:30.799
You can take a look at at the picture of this cow as well, just so you can get a really good view of her.
00:17:30.960 --> 00:17:37.119
Taking a look at that 3370, I mean, love the depth of body on that cow, love the depth of side on that cow.
00:17:37.279 --> 00:17:39.440
Really pretty cow, really well put together.
00:17:39.599 --> 00:17:45.359
Um, she is gonna be a direct daughter of JC Rushaw 75, and she is pulled.
00:17:45.519 --> 00:17:47.680
And so those two things, the parts that make that unique.
00:17:47.839 --> 00:17:53.200
So the JC Rushaw 75 bull brought half a million dollars for the bull and his semen inventory.
00:17:53.359 --> 00:18:00.319
It's not available on the open market, so it's not a bull you can just go use any day of the week that is gonna be difficult to acquire semen.
00:18:00.559 --> 00:18:12.240
Um, and then that bull also won uh at Houston, a national show on two consecutive years, was the highest marbling bull on actual carcass ultrasound against all comers, both black and red wagyu.
00:18:12.400 --> 00:18:14.720
And we can get a good look now at this 3370.
00:18:14.799 --> 00:18:16.480
She's kind of peeled out around again.
00:18:16.559 --> 00:18:18.799
The far left female, she's pointed right at us.
00:18:18.880 --> 00:18:22.880
Now, you can see the depth of body and width of body, especially.
00:18:22.960 --> 00:18:27.279
This female has a lot of capacity, is one of the things I really appreciate about her.
00:18:27.440 --> 00:18:29.039
Good good uh width of chest.
00:18:29.119 --> 00:18:32.400
She's gonna be deep in the heart girth, uh, not at all pinched through there.
00:18:32.640 --> 00:18:36.720
Uh uh, polled female and a direct daughter of JC Rushaw 75.
00:18:36.799 --> 00:18:42.079
So, looking at a female like this, not only is she a JC Rushaw 75 daughter, but she's pulled.
00:18:42.160 --> 00:18:46.000
So, when we talk about an animal being pulled, that means naturally hornless.
00:18:46.240 --> 00:18:50.960
And honestly, I mean when we talk about a trait that just makes life easier.
00:18:51.119 --> 00:18:59.279
If we're gonna talk about one trait that makes things simple or makes things more enjoyable when it comes to working cattle, it's gonna be that pulled gene.
00:18:59.440 --> 00:19:04.079
Um, so pulled, naturally hornless cattle, that gene is dominant to the horn gene.
00:19:04.160 --> 00:19:06.640
So this female is a heterozygous polled female.
00:19:06.720 --> 00:19:08.559
She's got one copy of that pulled gene.
00:19:08.640 --> 00:19:10.480
Uh, she herself is pulled.
00:19:10.720 --> 00:19:20.559
Um, but the beauty of those pulled cattle by de-horning genetically rather than physically, I mean, when we take a look at it, you have three options when it comes to horns on cows.
00:19:20.720 --> 00:19:26.240
Either A, you can have an animal that's horned and you leave the horns on, and that causes all sorts of issues.
00:19:26.319 --> 00:19:33.200
You know, they can gash each other up, they can get stuck in chutes, they can get stuck in trailers, they can get stuck in feeders, they just there's problems.
00:19:33.279 --> 00:19:37.920
When you and if you've got one horned animal, they're gonna beat everything else to death in the pen, and they can be dangerous to people.
00:19:38.079 --> 00:19:40.319
So horns left on are a problem.
00:19:40.480 --> 00:19:51.680
Um, when it comes to dehorning, i.e., physically removing the horns, now you've got something that's stressful for people, it's stressful for cattle, it takes time, it takes effort, it is not a pleasant job.
00:19:51.839 --> 00:19:55.200
It is gonna set those cattle back, it can open them up for an infection.
00:19:55.279 --> 00:20:09.839
And today, in the southern part of the country, dealing with New World screw worm, which is a fly that literally lays flesh-heating maggots, this can be the difference between life and death, is if we do or do not open up an animal's head, but open wounds on top of a head removing horns.
00:20:10.000 --> 00:20:14.960
And that third option, rather than having horns or having to remove horns, is to use polled genetics.
00:20:15.039 --> 00:20:20.799
Um, and polled genetics, I mean, if you talk to the guys here, talk to Aaron and Billy and everybody else that that works with me here.
00:20:20.960 --> 00:20:31.920
I mean, if you talk about one thing that just makes life easier or makes life simpler or makes it so much, so much more pleasant when a calf comes in the chute, you run your hand over their head, there are no horns there, as opposed to there being a job to be done.
00:20:32.000 --> 00:20:34.640
Um, just an absolutely valuable trait to be polled.
00:20:34.720 --> 00:20:47.279
And and so that's what makes this female on the far left so unique is not only is she a direct daughter of a high value bull that adds a lot of marbling and a lot of marketability, rare and valuable genetics on the top side, but then that is a polled purebred female.
00:20:47.440 --> 00:20:52.480
So it would be be one of the very, very few polled purebred JC Rushaw 75 daughters in existence.
00:20:52.640 --> 00:20:56.640
And what we're offering in lot 11 is gonna be an IVF aspiration.
00:20:56.799 --> 00:21:03.680
So, anyone that's unfamiliar with an IVF aspiration, what you're looking at there is the right to aspirate that cow one time.
00:21:03.759 --> 00:21:08.559
So one IVF aspiration means we take that cow for you right over to WindStar Genetics.
00:21:08.640 --> 00:21:12.079
They're gonna remove a set of unfertilized egg cells from that cow.
00:21:12.319 --> 00:21:16.400
You get to choose the sire that we're gonna use on those unfertilized egg cells.
00:21:16.480 --> 00:21:21.359
You choose the sire that is gonna be the sire of those embryos produced from that IVF aspiration.
00:21:21.599 --> 00:21:28.880
Um, if I if you're asking me my recommendation, I'd sure take a look at the PhD or heavy-duty semen in this sale.
00:21:28.960 --> 00:21:33.279
Um the PhD bull and heavy duty bull, both homozygous pulled bulls.
00:21:33.440 --> 00:21:35.200
Uh, so we're gonna keep those horns off.
00:21:35.279 --> 00:21:38.079
The PhD bull uh has a female sexed option.
00:21:38.160 --> 00:21:44.240
So if you're looking for female sexed semen to control the gender of those calves with 90% accuracy, go with that PhD bull.
00:21:44.400 --> 00:21:51.039
Um, as well as if you're looking to stick those embryos into to heifers, into virgin heifers for recips, I'd go with PhD.
00:21:51.119 --> 00:21:54.559
Um, and that is gonna give you better odds of unassisted calving.
00:21:54.640 --> 00:21:59.119
The PhD bull is a calving ease bull, and heifers are born more easily than bulls are.
00:21:59.200 --> 00:21:59.759
So that PhD.
00:22:00.240 --> 00:22:03.839
Female sex seman to be your Caving Ease option and your female sex option.
00:22:03.920 --> 00:22:09.039
Whereas the heavy duty bull, um, loved the heavy duty bull, ton of gainability there, ton of performance there.
00:22:09.200 --> 00:22:13.920
The bull weaned at 738 pounds at seven months of age without corn.
00:22:14.000 --> 00:22:20.720
I mean, you're looking at something that's gonna be as heavy at seven months of age as what most of these Akushi cattle are gonna be at more like a year of age.
00:22:20.799 --> 00:22:27.279
Uh, so a lot of gainability in that pedigree, both his damn and his grand damn uh scan prime plus on actual carcass ultrasound.
00:22:27.359 --> 00:22:29.519
Um, so you got lots of marbling, lots of gain.
00:22:29.599 --> 00:22:31.440
That dog is puppy dog gentle.
00:22:31.519 --> 00:22:36.319
If I was to say the most mellow of all of the bulls I have ever bred, it's gonna be heavy duty.
00:22:36.400 --> 00:22:41.039
The heavy duty bull, dog gentle, homozygous pulled, high growing, high marbling.
00:22:41.200 --> 00:22:49.119
If you buy this IVF aspiration on Lot 11, which again is that female on the far left, the dark red cow, deep-bodied cow, big capacity kind of a female.
00:22:49.279 --> 00:22:59.519
If you buy that IVF aspiration, we are gonna guarantee you get at least three female sexed embryos if you use female sex semen, or five conventional embryos if you use conventional semen.
00:22:59.759 --> 00:23:00.960
And we will not cap you.
00:23:01.039 --> 00:23:02.960
If there's more embryos, you get all of them.
00:23:03.039 --> 00:23:08.240
You do pay for the production cost of those embryos separate, budget about 200 an embryo to get that done.
00:23:08.319 --> 00:23:19.920
Um, and the one other thing I will mention on that female, as you can see right now, you can see that white tag, that big white tag uh in her left ear that sits there, it's kind of kind of flapping, it's kind of got a got a flat surface up on top.
00:23:20.079 --> 00:23:22.720
That is an XT Pro tag from 701x.
00:23:22.799 --> 00:23:27.119
I'd invite you to go back and take a look at that 701x episode that we did with Scott Holt.
00:23:27.359 --> 00:23:34.240
Um, that XT Pro tag monitors that cow's location, her health, whether or not she's calving, whether or not she's in heat.
00:23:34.400 --> 00:23:44.240
Let's me know if she's out of her fence, lets me know if if she's um traveling at a high rate of speed, like in a trailer, lets me know if she's not traveling as much as she should, as in she's sick.
00:23:44.400 --> 00:23:49.119
Um, anyway, really, really, really valuable thing to put in a high-value animal like that.
00:23:49.200 --> 00:23:52.640
Uh, again, looking at a polled JC Rushaw 75 daughter here.
00:23:52.720 --> 00:24:01.359
Um, but what we're offering in lot 11 is an IVF aspiration, and like I just mentioned that thing you can see sticking out of her right ear right now, that's an XT Pro tag.
00:24:02.160 --> 00:24:10.720
Um, would mention uh that that's anyway a viable option for anybody looking to be able to remotely monitor everything possible on their cattle.
00:24:10.880 --> 00:24:14.160
So that's gonna be everything about that 3370.
00:24:14.400 --> 00:24:21.519
Um, the other female in the pen, the third female in that pen, this first pen that we're looking at, she's gonna be the far female from the truck right now.
00:24:21.599 --> 00:24:23.200
So there's three females in the pen.
00:24:23.359 --> 00:24:26.000
She is the far back female of those three.
00:24:26.079 --> 00:24:28.799
Um, and that is gonna be the 3423 female.
00:24:28.880 --> 00:24:30.640
She has lot two in this auction.
00:24:30.720 --> 00:24:39.839
So if you're looking for a female in this auction that she herself is is part of what you're buying in the lot, and she comes with a heifer calf in the belly.
00:24:39.920 --> 00:24:42.319
So you're getting two females for the price of one.
00:24:42.559 --> 00:24:43.839
Don't miss lot two.
00:24:44.240 --> 00:24:50.000
Lot two, again, the far back female there, she's gonna be the one that we're we're not getting quite as good of a look at her right now.
00:24:50.079 --> 00:24:53.680
So I'll have Jacob throw in an image of her, a picture of her.
00:24:53.759 --> 00:24:57.599
Uh, this picture that you're looking at now is gonna be of her as a bred heifer.
00:24:57.680 --> 00:25:06.240
Um, and we'll take a look at that picture, and I'm sure we'll get a chance to see the female live here on the video as she and the other animals in the pen continue to move around a little bit there.
00:25:06.319 --> 00:25:12.640
But um until she does give us a good look, we'll just take a look at this good picture of her to give you a good feel of what 3423 is.
00:25:12.720 --> 00:25:18.880
So 3423, again, gonna be an American Wagyu Association registered female, 100% Japanese origin.
00:25:18.960 --> 00:25:20.240
She'd be a full blood cow.
00:25:20.319 --> 00:25:29.200
She is sired by Master Chef, that, like I mentioned, very valuable bull on the top side of the pedigree, an Ume Grandson, high growth, uh, rare and valuable kind of genetics there.
00:25:29.359 --> 00:25:35.599
Bottom side of that pedigree is straight original imports as well, looking at big al over Shigamaru, over Tamamaru, over Akiko.
00:25:35.680 --> 00:25:38.000
And we can get a better view looking at her on the video now.
00:25:38.079 --> 00:25:41.920
So she'd be the middle of those three cows, not the one on the left or on the right.
00:25:42.079 --> 00:25:45.279
The left cow is D40 that we are selling outright as lot one.
00:25:45.599 --> 00:25:51.599
The far right cow is that that dark red cow is 3370 that we're selling the IVF aspiration is lot 11.
00:25:51.680 --> 00:26:00.400
The middle cow, the one that is in the middle of the three, that's on the far back there, that's gonna be the 3423 cow lot to uh the master chef daughter.
00:26:00.480 --> 00:26:04.240
And she is carrying a heifer calf sired by Maestro.
00:26:04.400 --> 00:26:10.400
And so that heifer calf is gonna be double double master uh master chef bread calf, gonna be line bread, master chef.
00:26:10.559 --> 00:26:12.880
So line bread to one of the really good bulls in the breed.
00:26:12.960 --> 00:26:18.319
Uh this female comes with free delivery anywhere in the continental United States, included in the bid price.
00:26:18.480 --> 00:26:25.279
The only way to get a hold of Master Chef Genetics at this point is to buy those cows that have been live covered by him here at Christensen Genetics.
00:26:25.440 --> 00:26:28.160
That bull has not had semen released on the open market.
00:26:28.480 --> 00:26:32.799
Um, so if you're looking for maestro genetics, this is how you get them.
00:26:32.880 --> 00:26:35.680
If you want a maestro daughter, help yourself here.
00:26:36.000 --> 00:26:38.480
The cow herself is a master chef daughter.
00:26:38.559 --> 00:26:42.319
She's bred to a master chef son in Maestro backed by the Katy Maru cow.
00:26:42.400 --> 00:26:51.200
So that baby that you're gonna get out of this cow, the cow in the middle, 3423, is gonna be both a master chef granddaughter and a Katy Maru granddaughter.
00:26:51.359 --> 00:26:53.839
So unique, unique opportunity there in lot two.
00:26:54.079 --> 00:26:56.160
That's gonna be the 3423 cow.
00:26:56.319 --> 00:26:58.720
Um, and without further ado, we'll jump to the next pen.
00:26:59.039 --> 00:27:07.039
Alright, so looking at this pen of cows, we're gonna start with the female on the far left there, which is gonna be the lot three female 4437.
00:27:07.440 --> 00:27:10.480
Um, this is a really, really nice young heifer.
00:27:10.559 --> 00:27:16.319
Uh, you know, when I had Toby and Deidra here the other day, we were looking through heifers and and this animal absolutely stands out.
00:27:16.400 --> 00:27:20.960
I told them they kind of have an unfair advantage relative to anybody that's not been here in person.
00:27:21.119 --> 00:27:24.160
Just to understand just how good that 4437 is.
00:27:24.319 --> 00:27:30.880
This is a female that you may not quite understand just how good she is if you only looked at the paper.
00:27:30.960 --> 00:27:37.200
If you only looked at the pedigree and that was all you saw or all you knew about her, you might not understand just how good she is.
00:27:37.279 --> 00:27:41.359
Um, but that 4437 female there, she's just kind of spinning around now.
00:27:41.440 --> 00:27:45.359
She's coming into the middle, she's on the back fence, is the female that we're looking at right now.
00:27:45.519 --> 00:27:52.720
So the cow on the back fence right now, 4437, that's gonna be a Hiro Mitsu daughter out of the 021E donor.
00:27:52.880 --> 00:28:03.680
Um, so a couple of different things that kind of makes that female unique, but I would say first and foremost, I don't want anybody to get too distracted here on, I mean, the pedigree, obviously, I'll go through it and explain kind of what it is and what it isn't.
00:28:03.759 --> 00:28:06.880
But the thing that really makes this female unique is the look.
00:28:07.039 --> 00:28:15.920
If you want a female that you can say, hey, if you just hucked the papers in the garbage can and all you did was went and looked at cows in the pen, this is the heifer you would find.
00:28:16.000 --> 00:28:21.359
Um, so again, of the three females we're looking at right now, she'd be on the back fence, uh, is the cow we're looking at.
00:28:21.440 --> 00:28:26.559
And 4437, just gonna be a thick, stout, impressive, attractive kind of a female.
00:28:26.640 --> 00:28:32.079
And that's where I'd like to focus on that kind of a cow is if you went ahead and bought lot three in this auction.
00:28:32.160 --> 00:28:42.559
So I'd recommend go ahead and get that bid in on her early because she is priced cheaper right now than she is gonna be at any point in time in the future, between now and when this auction closes on the last Wednesday of the month.
00:28:42.640 --> 00:28:48.640
Um, but this 4437 female, I'd absolutely keep an eye on her for just a good-looking cow.
00:28:48.799 --> 00:28:55.200
If that's what you're after, is not just an Okushi, but a really impressive Okushi, one that really looks the part.
00:28:55.279 --> 00:29:02.559
Um, that's what I would recommend you take a look at here would be this this female, now kind of on the far left, but on the back fence there, the 4437.
00:29:02.640 --> 00:29:04.319
Um, gonna be a really good-looking female.
00:29:04.400 --> 00:29:06.480
She's also exposed to maestro.
00:29:06.559 --> 00:29:09.519
Now, I will mention, I'll put emphasis on the word exposed.
00:29:09.680 --> 00:29:14.880
So this female has been in a pen with maestro, she will continue to be in a pen with maestro.
00:29:15.039 --> 00:29:18.799
This female has not been vet confirmed pregnant uh by ultrasound.
00:29:19.039 --> 00:29:20.960
So she's just cells as exposed.
00:29:21.200 --> 00:29:26.160
So that means that when this female gets to you, she could be pregnant from maestro.
00:29:26.319 --> 00:29:30.319
She is pregnant, I will guarantee her bred to maestro, or she could be open.
00:29:30.400 --> 00:29:31.759
So take a look at this female.
00:29:31.920 --> 00:29:37.920
As you're for sure getting the cow herself, you may be getting a pregnancy, but are not guaranteed to be getting a pregnancy.
00:29:38.079 --> 00:29:40.720
So I want to be clear about where she's at as far as breeding status.
00:29:41.200 --> 00:29:44.400
Um, this is gonna be a Hiramitsu over O21E female.
00:29:44.480 --> 00:29:48.400
So looking at Hiro Mitsu, the thing that you're getting there is a double shot of Katie Maru.
00:29:48.559 --> 00:29:54.160
Hiramitsu is an umaru son um out of the Tamamuru or out of the Katy Maru 2 cow.
00:29:54.240 --> 00:30:01.519
Um, and a beautiful bull in his own right, and you can see that come through in this 4437 and how good looking a female this is.
00:30:01.680 --> 00:30:03.920
A couple of neat things about the Hiro Mitsu bull.
00:30:04.079 --> 00:30:08.960
Um, Hiramitsu himself would have been broke to lead by my friend Jim Moore there at JMK Cattle.
00:30:09.119 --> 00:30:13.119
And Jim mentioned, you know, some animals can really be hard to get halter broke.
00:30:13.200 --> 00:30:16.799
He said when it comes to Hiramitsu, it should be the sire of this heifer we're looking at here.
00:30:16.960 --> 00:30:19.599
He just kind of walked out in the pen and threw a halter on.
00:30:19.680 --> 00:30:22.880
And and Jim can correct me if I understood that story wrong.
00:30:23.039 --> 00:30:27.200
But the point was the bull was mellow, mellow, easy, easy to break the halter.
00:30:27.519 --> 00:30:30.880
Two-time national champion bull, and you can see why.
00:30:30.960 --> 00:30:34.559
That has come through in this female that's coming around on the far left side again.
00:30:34.640 --> 00:30:35.839
She'd be on the back fence.
00:30:35.920 --> 00:30:37.839
That's the 4437 female.
00:30:38.000 --> 00:30:41.200
Really pretty cow, really good, uh, good to look at.
00:30:41.359 --> 00:30:47.200
Um, and you can see where she gets it from that Katie Maru influence via Hiramitsu on the top side of the pedigree.
00:30:47.359 --> 00:30:52.640
Now, her mother is gonna be the 021E donor, BRW Kajumiko 021E.
00:30:52.799 --> 00:30:56.319
Um, and you know, like again, I'd focus in on the looks of this female.
00:30:56.400 --> 00:30:59.839
I'm getting distracted looking back at her on the far left there.
00:31:00.000 --> 00:31:01.680
Um, good, good looking female.
00:31:01.759 --> 00:31:05.920
This is kind of gonna be the cow that catches your eye, the heifer that catches your eye.
00:31:06.079 --> 00:31:10.079
If you were in the pen of just heifers, that's gonna be the female you'll gravitate towards.
00:31:10.240 --> 00:31:11.839
She has always stood out in that crop.
00:31:11.920 --> 00:31:15.680
But her mother, the O21E donor, is gonna come from the Namiko maternal line.
00:31:15.759 --> 00:31:22.000
So the same maternal line that produced um the D18 donor for my good friend uh Doug, or my good friends, Doug and A.
00:31:22.079 --> 00:31:24.079
B Slayby at Slayby Akiushi Ranch.
00:31:24.160 --> 00:31:28.960
Um, the O21E comes from that same Namiko maternal line as the D18 donor.
00:31:29.200 --> 00:31:37.839
Um, and 4437 kind of brings together you're looking at that Katie Marie influence on the top side, Namiko influence on the bottom, exposed to Maestro.
00:31:38.000 --> 00:31:39.359
Um, great looking female.
00:31:39.440 --> 00:31:50.319
That's what you're gonna get in lot three, is a beautiful young cow with her whole lifetime production ahead of her, delivered to your ranch, um, included in the bid price, lot three, 4437.
00:31:50.480 --> 00:31:52.480
Now there's two other females in this pen.
00:31:52.559 --> 00:31:54.640
I'm gonna jump to the cow that is in the middle.
00:31:54.799 --> 00:32:03.759
So of these three cows that we're looking at right now, the one sitting right in the middle, uh gonna have a ton of barrel to this cow, a lot of width, the base, a lot of capacity, a lot of belly.
00:32:04.000 --> 00:32:07.279
Um, that's gonna be the lot 12 donor.
00:32:07.359 --> 00:32:11.440
So 3511, we are offering an IVF aspiration on her.
00:32:11.599 --> 00:32:18.799
Um and that lot 12 donor, what makes her so unique is she is a pulled purebred from the Haruko maternal line.
00:32:18.880 --> 00:32:37.599
So, again, walking through all those benefits of making the cattle naturally hornless, in addition to saying, hey, we want to get as many of those maternal lines, those original import cows, as close to the front of the pedigree as we can to give ourselves room to work as far as pedigree breadth and genetic diversity for long-term breeding objectives.
00:32:37.759 --> 00:32:39.680
This 3511 female does both.
00:32:39.759 --> 00:32:46.319
So this female is gonna be both a pulled purebred and a direct maternal descendant of the Haruko cow.
00:32:46.400 --> 00:32:48.640
And we're selling an IVF aspiration on her.
00:32:48.799 --> 00:33:02.000
Again, minimum minimum guarantee of at least three female sex embryos or at least five conventional embryos, with the hope being that you're gonna get at least one heifer calf from this purchase via those embryos.
00:33:02.079 --> 00:33:05.279
Uh, this can be a really, really cost-effective way to get into the cattle.
00:33:05.359 --> 00:33:08.640
It puts you in the driver's seat as to who you want to use as a sire.
00:33:08.960 --> 00:33:24.720
Again, my recommendation for a pulled donor like this is gonna be either the PhD bowl for a calving-ease option that's also available in female-sexed semen, or the heavy-duty bowl for a growth-oriented bowl with great docility and and great marbling behind him.
00:33:24.880 --> 00:33:31.519
So lot 12 is gonna be that pulled Haruko donor and IVF aspiration to the sire of your choice.
00:33:31.680 --> 00:33:36.880
Um, we will guarantee at least three female sexed embryos or five conventional with no cap.
00:33:37.039 --> 00:33:47.839
Uh, my recommendations would be either PhD or heavy duty for a sire to use on that lot 12 IVF aspiration to give you an outcross, um, pulled purebred Aukushi set of embryos.
00:33:48.000 --> 00:33:55.200
Now, the third female in the pen that is just laying down there and just hanging out, um, I think that exemplifies kind of how that cow is.
00:33:55.279 --> 00:33:58.640
That cow is just mellow, that cow is easy mannered.
00:33:58.720 --> 00:34:05.680
Um, I'm gonna have Jacob throw a quick picture of her in right here at this point in the video, just to show you just how long this cow is.
00:34:05.839 --> 00:34:13.840
This is an extremely long-bodied female, very, very similar in pattern to her mother, RMW Hoshiko D18.
00:34:13.920 --> 00:34:16.480
So D18 sold for$104,000.
00:34:16.800 --> 00:34:20.960
Again, mentioned my friends uh at Slay Akeyushi Ranch, purchased that cow.
00:34:21.199 --> 00:34:22.559
Love the D18 cow.
00:34:22.639 --> 00:34:27.119
The D18 cow was initially there at Cherokee Akeyushi Ranch with Justin Stamps.
00:34:27.280 --> 00:34:30.559
Justin had bought a great set of cows, had a really nice set of donors there.
00:34:30.719 --> 00:34:37.679
I remember seeing those cattle in Oklahoma, and out of that whole bunch, I remember asking Justin, which one do you have too many pictures of?
00:34:37.760 --> 00:34:40.000
You know, which one of these cows is absolutely your favorite?
00:34:40.079 --> 00:34:42.639
And he said, Oh, without question, it'd be the D18 cow.
00:34:42.719 --> 00:34:45.840
And I remember visiting there in Oklahoma, and I agree.
00:34:46.000 --> 00:34:49.039
Going through that whole bunch of cows, and there were a bunch of good cows there.
00:34:49.119 --> 00:34:51.599
But the queen of that set was that D18 cow.
00:34:51.760 --> 00:34:55.360
Doug was absolutely right to spend the money he did to get that cow purchased.
00:34:55.519 --> 00:34:58.320
Um, this 050L would be lot 10.
00:34:58.480 --> 00:35:06.079
An IVF aspiration on this cow will be lot 10 uh in this auction, closing the last Wednesday of October in 2026.
00:35:06.239 --> 00:35:14.800
Um, this 050L donor is sired by Big Al, the original import bull, who is in turn sired by Daitan Mitsumaro out of the original import Akiko.
00:35:14.880 --> 00:35:19.199
So Big Al would be the first Akiushi bull ever born in the United States.
00:35:19.280 --> 00:35:21.519
Um, and he's the sire of this female.
00:35:21.599 --> 00:35:23.199
Her mother is D18.
00:35:23.360 --> 00:35:30.480
You can see as she just lays down and hangs out there, mellow, mellow, easy mannered, not gonna get worked up, kind of a cow.
00:35:30.719 --> 00:35:42.000
Love the disposition and the fertility and the length of body would be three of the things that really stand out about both D18 herself and this daughter, uh, the O5OL donor.
00:35:42.159 --> 00:35:50.079
Um, so O5OL, we're selling an IVF aspiration, same guarantee as before, at least three female sex or at least five conventional.
00:35:50.239 --> 00:35:55.599
This donor has made up to 13 embryos in a single IVF aspiration before.
00:35:55.679 --> 00:36:07.599
So if you're looking for a high, highly productive um female, if you're looking for a cow that you can really get your money's worth out of that IVF aspiration, those embryos do not cost you very much at all.
00:36:07.679 --> 00:36:17.440
If you only have to pay, you pay one flat money for the aspiration, and then it will cost you$200 an embryo in lab production costs to have WindStar make those embryos for you.
00:36:17.679 --> 00:36:20.800
Um, my recommendation for sires on this female.
00:36:20.960 --> 00:36:23.360
Now, you are as the buyer, you are in the driver's seat.
00:36:23.440 --> 00:36:27.760
You can do whatever you want to do as far as a sire for this set of embryos for you.
00:36:28.000 --> 00:36:31.199
Um, but my recommendation will be the maroon bull.
00:36:31.440 --> 00:36:37.679
Um, we are releasing maroon in in this month's auction, so you can be the first to have maroon embryos.
00:36:37.760 --> 00:36:38.960
We don't even have them here yet.
00:36:39.039 --> 00:36:42.639
I mean, I'll tell you, maroon himself, very excited about the bull.
00:36:42.880 --> 00:36:44.639
I absolutely will be using the bull.
00:36:44.880 --> 00:36:46.960
Like I mentioned, we don't breed here till December.
00:36:47.039 --> 00:36:49.760
So you'd have a 60-day lead on anyone.
00:36:49.920 --> 00:36:52.239
I haven't used the bowl, no one else has used the bowl.
00:36:52.320 --> 00:36:58.639
If you want to be on the very front edge of a truly elite next generation bull, I would absolutely jump on that maroon bowl.
00:36:58.719 --> 00:37:04.079
We also have female sexed semen available on that bowl if you want to jump up to a female sexed option.
00:37:04.239 --> 00:37:18.400
Um, and you could easily make a big old set of embryos off this 050L donor, and you're tying together the Katy Maru cow and all of her value, the D18 cow and all of her value, this donor herself, mellow, long-bodied, highly fertile.
00:37:18.559 --> 00:37:21.119
Um, I think there's a real opportunity to be had there.
00:37:21.280 --> 00:37:30.960
And I should mention, for anyone that buys any of these IVF aspirations or any of the embryos that are available in this sale, you also have the option to use our recips.
00:37:31.119 --> 00:37:33.360
Now, we have had a lot of call for this.
00:37:33.440 --> 00:37:35.519
We have a lot of people want to use our recips.
00:37:35.760 --> 00:37:39.840
I am really picky about the cows we use to carry our embryo transfer calves.
00:37:39.920 --> 00:37:41.920
They are a really nice set of cows.
00:37:42.079 --> 00:37:47.440
I do not sell very many of them, and we are only going to sell those to people that buy their embryos here.
00:37:47.679 --> 00:38:00.000
Um, but if you buy your embryos here, and this would include IVF aspirations to make embryos here from your choice of sires over your choice of donors, um, you will be eligible to use our recips if you so choose.
00:38:00.159 --> 00:38:04.320
If you choose to do that, it is$100 per embryo implanted.
00:38:04.400 --> 00:38:15.519
Um, and that just covers that covers feed, that covers synchronization, that covers technician uh to get those implanted, and that's on every embryo implanted, and then you pay$5,000 per confirmed pregnant recip.
00:38:15.679 --> 00:38:22.719
You pay nothing if the embryo doesn't stick, you only pay to have it implanted, you do not buy the cow, um, and that's the biggest benefit of a program like that.
00:38:22.880 --> 00:38:29.360
You're not gonna end up owning cows that you wanted to have carry embryos, but that are open or that are late bred or that didn't carry embryos.
00:38:29.519 --> 00:38:35.039
What you're gonna have is you will only buy the cows that are confirmed pregnant to the embryo of your choice.
00:38:35.199 --> 00:38:38.960
Um, you're looking at$5,000 a piece uh to get those bought.
00:38:39.039 --> 00:38:43.280
Um, and then you own that recip outright, you own the baby in the belly outright.
00:38:43.440 --> 00:38:50.480
Um, those are gonna be quality cows handpicked by me from known sources, known ages, known histories.
00:38:50.639 --> 00:38:51.199
The works.
00:38:51.280 --> 00:38:53.760
These these are the best, these are the best recips in the business.
00:38:53.920 --> 00:39:00.639
If you're looking to have a good set of cows carry a really nice calf for you, we will give you that option if you buy your embryos here.
00:39:00.719 --> 00:39:06.159
So if you're buying embryos here or IVF aspirations here, I can get them into really high quality recips for you.
00:39:06.320 --> 00:39:09.840
100 apiece to implant the embryo, 5,000 per confirmed pregnant recip.
00:39:10.159 --> 00:39:18.320
And then you can use my my uh shippers, which would be David Tanner doing the booking, usually uh Matthew Farr running the trucks right now.
00:39:18.400 --> 00:39:24.559
Um, you can use them uh at my cost if you want to use them to ship, or you can ship however you'd prefer to ship those cattle.
00:39:24.719 --> 00:39:29.679
Um, but that's what you're looking at as far as options that are open to you if you buy that aspiration.
00:39:29.840 --> 00:39:34.880
Uh, but that is going to be lot 10, the 050L donor, big Alli over D18.
00:39:34.960 --> 00:39:36.639
I'd recommend taking her to Maroon.
00:39:36.960 --> 00:39:48.880
Uh, I'd go female sex semen if it were me and make a set of uh Katy Maroon and D18 granddaughters that no one else has because I don't even have the maroon calves yet.
00:39:48.960 --> 00:39:52.639
You can have a 60-day lead on me if you go ahead and get that stuff bought now.
00:39:52.800 --> 00:39:55.519
So that'd be my recommendation for lot 10.
00:39:55.920 --> 00:39:59.920
So looking at this bull on the far right here, this is gonna be the maroon bull.
00:40:00.159 --> 00:40:03.760
So maroon is gonna be the natural calf from the Katie Maroon clone.
00:40:03.840 --> 00:40:15.840
Katie Maroon, like I mentioned, gonna be thick, stout, impressive, super to look at, kind of a cow, incredibly unique pedigree, incredibly unique marbling, incredibly unique muscle and build, incredibly unique docility.
00:40:15.920 --> 00:40:20.559
Um, easily our most valuable full blood cow is gonna be the mother of this maroon bowl.
00:40:20.639 --> 00:40:25.360
Um, so maroon, again, gonna be, I guess, nearest the truck, but on the right there.
00:40:25.440 --> 00:40:28.400
Um, so there's three smaller bowls that are kind of sitting out behind him.
00:40:28.639 --> 00:40:35.119
Maroon is gonna be the bowl closest to the truck right now, the other three smaller bowls farther away and out towards that fence there.
00:40:35.199 --> 00:40:44.559
So looking at the maroon bowl, um, this is absolutely a unique stud and a couple of different really unique offerings that we're gonna go ahead and put out here in this October auction.
00:40:44.719 --> 00:40:47.039
The maroon bowl is one I think a lot of.
00:40:47.119 --> 00:40:51.280
This is a bowl we are going to be using ourselves here starting in December.
00:40:51.440 --> 00:40:54.320
Um, I anticipate using this bowl in a significant volume.
00:40:54.400 --> 00:41:00.000
This is a bowl we intend to tie into, a bowl we will continue to promote, a bowl that took an incredible picture.
00:41:00.159 --> 00:41:02.800
Um, I'll have Jacob throw that up at some point here.
00:41:03.039 --> 00:41:06.000
Um, but look at that bowl as he walks closer to the truck here.
00:41:06.079 --> 00:41:07.840
So now it'd be the bowl nearest the truck.
00:41:08.000 --> 00:41:11.039
On the far left there uh is gonna be that maroon bowl.
00:41:11.199 --> 00:41:12.960
This is a bowl that just kind of does it all.
00:41:13.039 --> 00:41:19.440
You know, as far as our selection criteria here, docility is the most important thing to us, and he is a docile bull.
00:41:19.599 --> 00:41:21.360
Um, but really mellow mannered.
00:41:21.440 --> 00:41:26.800
Uh he was easy calving, he was born light, 77 pound birth weight, born unassisted.
00:41:27.039 --> 00:41:34.480
Um, weaning weight on this bowl was 610 pounds, so an impressive weaning weight on the bowl, plenty of gain to the bull.
00:41:34.800 --> 00:41:41.519
Um, his mother is gonna be our number one marbling cow on actual carcass ultrasound, so plenty of marbling to the bowl.
00:41:41.760 --> 00:41:47.360
Um, and then mother is still a beautiful cow, doing fantastic as a 10-year-old cow now.
00:41:47.519 --> 00:41:50.400
Uh, so this is a bowl that we're gonna be using extensively here.
00:41:50.559 --> 00:41:53.119
We're offering a couple of different things in this auction.
00:41:53.360 --> 00:41:58.239
Lot 14 is gonna be a two-year lease on the maroon bowl.
00:41:58.400 --> 00:42:07.199
Um, this is a really, really exciting option to say, hey, you can take a stud caliber bowl that no one else has access to.
00:42:07.360 --> 00:42:08.800
There's not another one of these out there.
00:42:08.880 --> 00:42:11.519
This bowl is one of one of this cross.
00:42:11.679 --> 00:42:13.840
This bowl hasn't even been used here yet.
00:42:14.000 --> 00:42:18.800
This bowl, I think, enough of that he will be used here and will be used here in significant volume.
00:42:18.960 --> 00:42:24.159
Um, I think enough of this bowl that we put up conventional semen, we put up female sexed semen.
00:42:24.239 --> 00:42:30.480
Um, and you can you can buy the live cover rights for the next two years by being the winning bidder on Mot 14.
00:42:30.559 --> 00:42:34.400
So, what that two-year lease looks like, um, shipping is included.
00:42:34.480 --> 00:42:39.599
Uh, and so you don't have to worry about paying for the the shipping to get this bowl uh to your place.
00:42:39.840 --> 00:42:43.119
Um, shipping is included in this two-year lease.
00:42:43.280 --> 00:42:49.280
Um, you have the right to live cover use of this bowl, natural breeding service of this bowl for the next two years.
00:42:49.440 --> 00:42:56.559
Uh, so basically, you're getting all of the volume or all of the quality of AI without any of the hassle, any of the added effort.
00:42:56.719 --> 00:42:58.960
Um, really, really unique opportunity there.
00:42:59.119 --> 00:43:01.119
I am gonna maintain ownership of this bowl.
00:43:01.199 --> 00:43:03.760
I'm gonna maintain ownership of the semen rights on this bowl.
00:43:03.840 --> 00:43:07.199
So, semen rights will remain exclusively with Christians and genetics.
00:43:07.280 --> 00:43:15.039
I will be using this bowl, I will be marketing this bowl, but the live cover rights for the next two years go ahead and turn out a super high caliber stud.
00:43:15.280 --> 00:43:16.000
Look at this bowl.
00:43:16.079 --> 00:43:16.800
Look at the bowl again.
00:43:16.880 --> 00:43:18.159
Nearest the truck here.
00:43:18.239 --> 00:43:21.760
Um, the bowl that that uh would be the biggest of this set.
00:43:21.920 --> 00:43:27.840
Uh, I mean, mellow mannered, easy cabin, fast gaining, good looking, plenty of marbling behind him.
00:43:27.920 --> 00:43:29.760
I haven't even mentioned topside of the pedigree.
00:43:29.840 --> 00:43:33.920
He's sired by the F-821 bowl who's gonna be a Rushaw over Viral.
00:43:34.239 --> 00:43:38.239
Um, and so you're bringing in some unique and rare and valuable outcross genetics there.
00:43:38.400 --> 00:43:41.119
Ru Shaw can sell for up to$22,000 a straw.
00:43:41.360 --> 00:43:44.719
Viril is thousands of straw per uh per straw if you can find it.
00:43:44.880 --> 00:43:47.119
Brings the Miko right up front in that pedigree.
00:43:47.360 --> 00:43:49.519
Um, really, really unique bowl here.
00:43:49.599 --> 00:43:50.960
Um, don't overlook this.
00:43:51.039 --> 00:43:58.719
I mean, I think honestly, this is this is one of those bowls that can and should be going and covering a registered set of cows.
00:43:58.800 --> 00:43:59.760
Um, a set of registered.
00:44:00.159 --> 00:44:03.519
Red waggy or Akeyushi cows would absolutely be the fit here.
00:44:03.599 --> 00:44:14.239
If you were looking for a way to say, hey, how can we kind of get into seed stock caliber genetics without having a particularly developed AI program or embryo transfer program?
00:44:14.400 --> 00:44:19.920
This is how you do it is to have a bowl of that caliber, of that quality turned out live covered on your cows.
00:44:20.159 --> 00:44:22.639
Lot 14 is a two-year lease.
00:44:23.119 --> 00:44:24.639
We will cover shipping him to you.
00:44:24.719 --> 00:44:26.320
We'll cover shipping him when he's done.
00:44:26.800 --> 00:44:29.840
We will maintain ownership of the bowl and semen sales on the bowl.
00:44:30.320 --> 00:44:33.760
Lot 26 is going to be the first straw of semen to sell on this bowl.
00:44:33.920 --> 00:44:37.440
Can and should, and I would expect it to bring a significant premium.
00:44:38.880 --> 00:44:40.320
That is a really unique bowl.
00:44:40.400 --> 00:44:45.360
Again, that I have not even had a chance to use yet, but that I will be using heavily starting in December.
00:44:45.679 --> 00:44:47.679
So you'd have a couple months of lead time there.
00:44:47.840 --> 00:44:50.639
There is female sexed semen available as well on this bowl.
00:44:50.719 --> 00:44:59.119
So you have the option to pay a$500 premium and upgrade your semen purchase there to be in female sexed if you want to make 90% heifer calves.
00:44:59.199 --> 00:45:01.280
But really unique opportunity here.
00:45:01.599 --> 00:45:02.960
Don't be asleep at the wheel.
00:45:03.119 --> 00:45:10.559
If you are an Akiushi seed stock breeder or aspiring to be one, do not miss out on having a bowl that caliber to walk your cows.
00:45:10.639 --> 00:45:15.679
Or if you're looking at at making a high-end set of embryos, go ahead and buy one of the aspirations in this auction.
00:45:15.920 --> 00:45:18.159
Use this female sex maroon semen.
00:45:18.480 --> 00:45:20.079
You'd be the first one to be able to do so.
00:45:20.239 --> 00:45:21.920
Lot 14 is the two-year lease.
00:45:22.159 --> 00:45:25.599
Lot 26 is the semen on maroon.
00:45:25.920 --> 00:45:31.840
Winning Bitter has the option to upgrade to female sexed semen for an additional$500, is what you're looking at there.
00:45:32.320 --> 00:45:35.679
So within this pen, we're going to jump to the bowl on the far left there.
00:45:35.760 --> 00:45:41.360
So the farthest left of these four bowls that are in this pen right now is going to be the 55-15 bowl.
00:45:41.519 --> 00:45:44.960
Really big, really stout, really impressive kind of a bowl.
00:45:45.760 --> 00:45:47.039
738.
00:45:47.119 --> 00:45:48.480
Oh, 748.
00:45:48.559 --> 00:45:49.360
I misspoke.
00:45:49.519 --> 00:45:51.760
748 pounds at weaning.
00:45:52.079 --> 00:45:56.639
One of our all-time heaviest weaning weights on a full-blood Akiyushi bowl.
00:45:56.800 --> 00:46:01.519
This is going to be an Umamaru son out of a Rushaw by D18 donor.
00:46:01.760 --> 00:46:19.519
And so you are stacking Umamaru who's a Hikari Maru's son, a Hikari over Katie Maru bowl over a Rushaw, who's 22 grand a straw, only national champion to ever leave Japan over the 104,000 RMW, 104,000 RMW Hoshiko D18, and you're getting a bowl that looks like that.
00:46:19.679 --> 00:46:27.360
That bowl on the far left there, big, thick, stout, heavy, impressive gainability, 748 pounds at weaning.
00:46:27.440 --> 00:46:35.440
Um, we are gonna sell that bowl outright as lot five, as well as selling uh the first unit of semen on that bowl as lot 28.
00:46:35.519 --> 00:46:42.400
So if your target is performance, gainability, disposition, pedigree, that bowl has it all.
00:46:42.559 --> 00:47:03.039
Absolutely one of the very, very, very best bowls um of this calf crop, one of the heaviest weaning bowls in the history of our program for a full-blood Okiushi bowl, 748 pounds of weaning, umumaru over rushaw over d18, lot five comes with free delivery included anywhere in the continental US, or lot 28 is gonna be the first unit of semen on that bowl.
00:47:03.199 --> 00:47:05.119
Don't miss out, that bowl is big time.
00:47:05.440 --> 00:47:08.159
Um over shot over D18.
00:47:08.480 --> 00:47:11.679
Um, big, big, big time kind of a bowl to own there.
00:47:12.239 --> 00:47:17.119
Jumping now, looking within this pen, we've got another couple of bowls that we're gonna take a look at here.
00:47:17.280 --> 00:47:21.280
Um, we're gonna take a look at the bowl in the in the back corner there right now.
00:47:21.440 --> 00:47:27.039
So from the left, it'd be the second bowl from the left, kind of in the back corner, just stepping out of the back corner now.
00:47:27.199 --> 00:47:28.559
Second bowl from the left.
00:47:28.719 --> 00:47:31.519
This is gonna be a homozygous pulled bowl.
00:47:31.599 --> 00:47:39.440
So lot four is gonna be the 5610 bowl, homozygous pulled, sired by Guapo out of the Pulled Queen 88 donor.
00:47:39.519 --> 00:47:44.239
So a homozygous pulled bowl will sire pulled calves every time.
00:47:44.320 --> 00:47:49.840
No matter what you made him to, you could breed that bowl to a Texas longhorn and he would take the horns off.
00:47:49.920 --> 00:47:52.880
Um, that bull is gonna sire only pulled calves.
00:47:52.960 --> 00:47:56.639
He's homozygous pulled, which means he's got two copies of that polled gene.
00:47:56.719 --> 00:47:58.719
So he's gonna be the far left bull right now.
00:47:58.960 --> 00:48:02.079
5610 lot four, homozygous pulled.
00:48:02.159 --> 00:48:05.679
That's a guapo sun out of the polled queen donor.
00:48:05.760 --> 00:48:11.199
Uh, if you're looking to take all the horns off, all your calves, all the time, take a look hard look at that lot four.
00:48:11.360 --> 00:48:13.679
Now jump into the bowl that's on the far right there.
00:48:13.760 --> 00:48:17.360
So the far right bowl um is gonna be the fate bowl.
00:48:17.519 --> 00:48:20.480
Lot 15 is gonna be a two-year lease on that bowl.
00:48:20.639 --> 00:48:26.239
Um, he is sired by F-821 and out of the Hitomi 1270Z cow.
00:48:26.480 --> 00:48:35.760
So that is the only AWA registered Hitome Maternal Line bull in the entire American Wagyu Association database.
00:48:35.920 --> 00:48:39.679
So looking at the bowl on the far right, you'd be back into the corner there.
00:48:39.840 --> 00:48:43.440
Um, that is a son of CGX Hitomi 1270Z.
00:48:43.519 --> 00:48:56.079
So the Hitomi Maternal Line in the American Wagyu Association database, there are no other bulls, period, at all, in the American Wagyu Association database from the Hitomi Maternal Line.
00:48:56.159 --> 00:48:57.199
It's him or him.
00:48:57.360 --> 00:49:01.920
So lot 15 is gonna be the uh the 5505 bull.
00:49:02.079 --> 00:49:06.719
He's sired by that same F-821, so Rushau over Viral on the top side of the pedigree.
00:49:06.880 --> 00:49:12.880
And then his mother is Hitomi 1270Z, who's gonna be a Tamamarie over Big Al over 12 over Hitomi.
00:49:13.360 --> 00:49:21.519
Um, so the value and the benefit in a bowl like that, that bowl in the back corner there, um, second from the truck on the far right side there.
00:49:21.679 --> 00:49:28.159
Uh, that bowl is going to be the only American Wagyu Association registered Hitomi Maternal Line bowl.
00:49:28.239 --> 00:49:31.760
Um, first unit of semen to sell on that bowl sells as lot 27.
00:49:32.239 --> 00:49:35.280
Lot 15 is gonna be a two-year lease on that bowl.
00:49:35.360 --> 00:49:37.519
We are gonna maintain ownership of that bowl.
00:49:37.599 --> 00:49:42.960
Um, do you want to have an option on continuing to collect that bowl in the future after this lease is completed?
00:49:43.199 --> 00:49:47.199
Winning Bidder is gonna have the right to live cover use of that bowl for the next two years.
00:49:47.360 --> 00:49:48.559
We will cover delivery.
00:49:48.639 --> 00:49:52.000
I will maintain ownership and continue to market semen on that bowl.
00:49:52.079 --> 00:49:57.840
Um, but that is the only uh Hitomi Maternal Line bowl in the entire American Wagyu Association database.
00:49:58.000 --> 00:50:01.840
BOP 15 CGX Fate 5505N.
00:50:02.719 --> 00:50:06.880
All right, we are looking at this big bowl that is nearest the truck.
00:50:06.960 --> 00:50:08.800
And I mean that is a big bull.
00:50:09.440 --> 00:50:10.639
A big bowl.
00:50:10.800 --> 00:50:19.440
Like, if you want performance, if you want gas, if you want gainability, if you want pounds to sell at weaning, you want this 3336 bowl.
00:50:19.519 --> 00:50:21.840
Like, I don't know how to make them gain any faster than that.
00:50:21.920 --> 00:50:25.119
I mean, that is a big gaining type of bowl.
00:50:25.280 --> 00:50:33.199
3336 is gonna be in the top 1% of the entire Angus breed for weaning weight at 106 and yearling weight at 185.
00:50:33.679 --> 00:50:37.119
Um, that is a big time growth kind of a bowl.
00:50:37.280 --> 00:50:40.079
You're looking at weaning eight, nine weight kind of calves here.
00:50:40.239 --> 00:50:44.000
Um, the bull himself would have been well into the 800s at weaning.
00:50:44.079 --> 00:50:50.480
Uh, and you can just tell looking at the bull, big, framey, stretchy, high growth, high performance, high octane kind of a bull.
00:50:50.719 --> 00:50:56.960
His mother at one time was the number one cow for weaning weight in the entire Angus breed.
00:50:57.119 --> 00:51:11.119
And so, if you're looking for pounds to sell at weaning, if you're looking to make money on selling weanling calves, if you are doing a terminal type approach on your calves and you're saying, Hey, I want as many pounds of calf to sell as I can possibly get.
00:51:11.280 --> 00:51:13.360
3336 is the way to get there.
00:51:13.599 --> 00:51:21.280
Lot six is the CG Growth 3336 bowl, comes with free delivery anywhere in the continental United States included.
00:51:21.760 --> 00:51:25.599
All right, now we're looking at the bull in the middle here, second from the left.
00:51:25.679 --> 00:51:38.480
That's going to be 3383, the CG Growth or CG Jameson, excuse me, CG Jameson 3383, top 1% weaning weight at 109, top 1% yearling weight at 172.
00:51:38.639 --> 00:51:43.920
His sire is the$600,000 bull, basin Jameson 1076.
00:51:44.079 --> 00:51:50.079
Bottom side of his pedigree features the$10 million producer, Sandpoint Blackbird 8809.
00:51:50.239 --> 00:51:59.920
If you're looking for a bowl that has got gas and gainability, gonna put a pile of pounds on the calves with a ton of notoriety for being able to sell at high values on that pedigree.
00:52:00.159 --> 00:52:04.480
$600,000 sire,$10 million cow on the bottom side of the deal.
00:52:04.719 --> 00:52:10.079
Lot 8, CG Jamison 3383, is gonna get the job done for you.
00:52:10.400 --> 00:52:12.079
Bowl in the middle of these three.
00:52:12.159 --> 00:52:20.960
So if we're counting from the left or from the right, the middle of the three, 2252 is gonna be top 1% of the Angus breed once again for performance.
00:52:21.119 --> 00:52:24.239
Weaning weight at 102, yearling weight at 176.
00:52:24.400 --> 00:52:29.840
The unique part of this bowl, as well, is that he is backed by the SAV Black Cap May Cow family.
00:52:30.079 --> 00:52:37.519
So if you're looking for a bowl that'll put a pile of pounds on his calves for sale at weaning, but also produce some really, really nice cows.
00:52:37.679 --> 00:52:40.800
Um, there's a really nice set of cows behind this bull.
00:52:41.440 --> 00:52:47.039
Lot seven, his mother's a beautiful cow, grandmother's beautiful cow, great grandmother's beautiful cow.
00:52:47.199 --> 00:52:50.400
2252 himself is going to be the middle of those three bowls.
00:52:50.639 --> 00:52:58.960
Um, but you're gonna get a pile of performance there, pile of gainability, in addition to having really, really nice females that you could retain and be proud to own.
00:52:59.119 --> 00:53:02.400
That's lot seven CG Growth 2252.
00:53:02.559 --> 00:53:06.719
All right, so we've got a really unique set of embryos in this month's auction.
00:53:06.880 --> 00:53:10.400
Um, didn't want to overlook these, wanted to make sure these got mentioned.
00:53:10.719 --> 00:53:14.880
Female sexed embryos are in this auction, backed by popular demand.
00:53:14.960 --> 00:53:17.760
I've had a lot of people ask for female sexed embryos.
00:53:17.840 --> 00:53:19.119
I've said, hey, what do you have?
00:53:19.360 --> 00:53:20.559
What are you willing to sell?
00:53:20.719 --> 00:53:22.400
What is it that I could get from you?
00:53:22.559 --> 00:53:27.519
Female sexed embryos, we've got some female sexed embryos available in this auction.
00:53:27.840 --> 00:53:32.480
Um, if you're looking to get female sexed embryos, I would encourage you to take a good hard look at these.
00:53:32.639 --> 00:53:34.800
We have not offered these in quite a while.
00:53:34.880 --> 00:53:38.079
Um, so a unique opportunity to get some female sexed embryos.
00:53:38.159 --> 00:53:41.199
These will qualify you to use our recips if you so choose.
00:53:41.360 --> 00:53:45.840
If you'd like to buy a recip for us to implant those embryos into, you can do that.
00:53:46.000 --> 00:53:51.679
Um, so some female sex embryos sired by Shoshone out of our 3112A donor.
00:53:51.760 --> 00:53:56.960
Um, so Shoshone 3,200 a straw on the on the top sale price on those that semen.
00:53:57.039 --> 00:54:04.719
Uh, he's gonna be Shigamuru over D18 bowl, uh over the judo over Rushaw over a Kiko donor, 3112A.
00:54:04.800 --> 00:54:06.159
So really uniquely bred there.
00:54:06.320 --> 00:54:12.480
Also have some female sex embryos sired by Star Lord, which would be a Katie Maru son, over the 5115 donor.
00:54:12.639 --> 00:54:22.480
So this these would be uh full siblings to our Eve donor, our female that that we are building, um one of our very first that we're building our black Akayushi program off of.
00:54:22.639 --> 00:54:26.159
It is not enough that those cattle just be black or that they just be pulled.
00:54:26.239 --> 00:54:41.039
The 5115 cow is 11 years old, has never missed, has weaned multiple heavy weaning calves in multiple breeds that she has carried via embryo transfer, heavy milking cow, black and pulled, in addition to all of that.
00:54:41.199 --> 00:54:46.880
But more importantly, she is the best of our 2015 model black pulled cows.
00:54:46.960 --> 00:54:50.159
And that's the kind of cow we want to use to build that black Aukishie program.
00:54:50.239 --> 00:54:59.679
So these babies are going to be F1 calves, so they'd be sired by the 100% uh DNA verified AWA registered Red Wagyu Bull Star Lord.
00:54:59.760 --> 00:55:01.840
So who has a red galaxy over Katie Marie?
00:55:02.159 --> 00:55:07.920
They're out of not only a black pulled cow, but an exceptionally good black pulled cow.
00:55:08.000 --> 00:55:17.840
Those will be half blood calves, half Akiushi, half commercial angus, um, but an exceptional base to build from and to start into that black Akuchi project.
00:55:18.000 --> 00:55:19.119
Um, excited about those.
00:55:19.280 --> 00:55:25.920
Wanted to give people an opportunity for those that have expressed interest in that black Akuchi uh project and ain't engaging in that.
00:55:26.159 --> 00:55:30.639
Also have some female sex Shindo by 1270Z embryos, these heifers.
00:55:30.800 --> 00:55:33.440
So again, the female sexed embryos, your odds are 90%.
00:55:33.760 --> 00:55:36.639
It's about 90% accuracy as far as the female sex.
00:55:36.880 --> 00:55:44.400
Uh, Shindo is going to be a master chef son, and 1270Z is the Hitomi female.
00:55:44.480 --> 00:55:47.360
So her grandmother is the original import Hitomi.
00:55:47.679 --> 00:55:50.480
Uh, so female sexed embryos, five in that lot.
00:55:50.639 --> 00:56:01.199
Uh, there's also five female sex Nikkei embryos out of the 9961 Y donor, who'd be a Himawari maternal line female in the American Wagyu Association database.
00:56:01.360 --> 00:56:04.639
Um, so a really unique set of female sexed embryos there.
00:56:04.800 --> 00:56:09.679
You can use our recips if you'd like, um, or we can ship them to you frozen for use in your own recips.
00:56:09.920 --> 00:56:13.519
Also, have a couple sets of conventional embryos that absolutely weren't looking at.
00:56:13.679 --> 00:56:16.239
One set would be Rushaw over 3330.
00:56:16.320 --> 00:56:28.079
So they are sired by the original Rushaw, the 1975 Japanese national champion, 22,000 a straw over the homozygous pulled full sister to guapo 3330.
00:56:28.159 --> 00:56:35.360
So these will be pulled Rushaw calves, whether they are heifers, whether they are bulls, pulled Rushaw calves.
00:56:35.599 --> 00:56:40.559
Very, very, very, very unique offering there uh in Rushaw over 3330.
00:56:40.719 --> 00:56:58.719
Also gonna have some PhD over 19273 embryos, PhD being an easy calving homozygous pulled bowl that is backed by a full sister to Davey Crockett, and then 19273 being the thickest, stoutest, most impressive outcross pulled off Aushi female that we own.
00:56:58.800 --> 00:57:01.199
Uh, so really unique uh mating there.
00:57:01.280 --> 00:57:05.360
Uh, absolutely have potential to make a stud from that, to make a donor from that.
00:57:05.519 --> 00:57:07.039
Those are high caliber embryos.
00:57:07.199 --> 00:57:22.000
We also have two embryos sired by Ashwood FX014, who would be the highest marbling red Wagyu bowl per the Australian Wagyu Association database out of the Big Al over D18 donor we filmed here today, um 050L.
00:57:22.480 --> 00:57:28.960
Um, so don't overlook those embryos, would invite you to refresh, refresh, refresh at closing.
00:57:29.119 --> 00:57:36.000
Do not assume that because that clock looks like it's gone to zero, that the auction is over, it is not closed until the banner shows.
00:57:36.159 --> 00:57:40.960
So if you don't see a little black banner come across the corner of the lots, the auction's not closed.
00:57:41.039 --> 00:57:44.400
Refresh your browser, refresh your browser, refresh your browser.
00:57:44.559 --> 00:57:50.159
Every time a bid is placed on any lot in the final five minutes, that clock will reset to a five-minute shot clock.
00:57:50.320 --> 00:58:00.320
