درباره این اپیزود
Many pastors and ministry leaders are running at a pace their souls cannot sustain. What feels normal on the outside can quietly erode your interior life, leaving you depleted, distracted, and disconnected from God in ways that are hard to name.
In this highlight from our conversation (https://youtu.be/l9ewVLxh0vI?si=zBB0SfJkAPLx9xjN), host Jason Daye sits down with John Eldredge to explore why the pace of modern life is so dangerous to the soul. What often looks like faithfulness and responsibility can slowly become a rhythm that your soul simply cannot keep up with.
Together, John and Jason discuss:
- Why the pace of modern ministry life is unsustainable for the soul
- How constant pressure, digital overload, and urgency reshape your inner life
- Why exhaustion is often deeper than physical fatigue
- The role of beauty, rest, and quiet in restoring your humanity
- Why emotional honesty is essential for spiritual vitality
- How slowing down becomes an act of trust, not weakness
- Practical ways to create space for your soul to breathe again
This episode will resonate deeply with pastors and ministry leaders who feel stretched thin but cannot seem to slow down. It offers a clear and hopeful invitation to recover a healthier pace and rediscover a grounded, life-giving relationship with God.
