On today's episode we are talking with Tom Howard. Tom owns and operates the First Responder Peer Initiative. Tom is also a 30 year veteran firefighter on Evanston Fire Department, which is just north of Chicago. We had a good conversation about mental health in the first responder world. We touched on his past experience and got into why he chose to start this business. Tom also talked about his podcast, The Fire Inside. We asked him to give a bit of advice to seasoned or aspiring entrepreneurs, his answer was outstanding - you’ll have to listen to the episode to find out what it was! Be sure to check his business and podcast out!
