Movements can liberate our thoughts!
I like to move when I talk.
Before, when recording, I’d try to hold a perfectly straight spinal posture, attempting to mirror the tireless example of my microphone stand.
Part of me believed that holding this unnaturally rigid military position would help, possibly by opening up my air ways, while improving focus and determinism.
But in truth, it was uncomfortable, as it made me clench in my less developed areas, while simultaneously, brining all physical momentum to a stand still.
As moments would pass, my tension and distraction would slowly rise, and my thoughts would lose their forward inertia.
On an impulse…
I decided to put aside the microphone stand, my unforgiving avatar of “Proper Posture”, and see how mobile freedom affected my self expression.
All of a sudden, absent of my judgemental metal ‘floor umbilicus’, I became much more “Me” than I’d been before.
Released from rigid over posturing, my natural habit of dancing while talking took over, and soon I was in full sway.
My energies were able to move freely and the creative potential of my movement lent a three dimensional reflection to my evolving thoughts. Helping them flow in appropriate directions rather than shoved into a brick wall.
By keeping an unnaturally tense posture, I had been imprisoning my body’s natural rhythms. Reducing the reflective fluidity of my unconscious mind.
It’s oxymoronic behaviour…
to hold myself in an uncomfortable physical pose – while expecting myself to act “naturally”.
By releasing my physical rigidity, allowing myself unconscious expressive movement during my tasks, I can build a reflective Momentum to accompany anything I wish to accomplish.
So… if you find yourself beginning a task – Locked in an uncomfortable spinal posture – consider finding a way to free yourself from unconscious physical imprisonment.
Even if it’s just wiggling a bit, the potential for movement can help us believe in taking the next – correct – step.
Do your job freely my friend, unhindered by any superfluous clenching.
Enjoy!

“Beauty” stems from a lack of internal confusion. From essentially, determinedly being one simple awesome thing that reflects who we truly are to the core. We see reflections of our own consciousness by projecting it onto other people and looking at what returns. The more conscious we become of this inevitable interactive process, the more we can choose evolutionary perspectives to constantly surround ourselves. Join me in the search!

I believe that Happiness, at it’s root, is a simple repeating process I can Apply to every situation, more so than waiting for every random circumstance to bring it to me.
I think I’ve figured out a simple vision of this equation. Join me!
The philosophy is warm.
I often hold off on starting things until I feel like the ‘Right” person for the job, but until I begin, I’ll still be reflecting the “me” from a pre-active state. Action purifies me from the preconceptions of who I was, and firmly involves me in who I want to be. Please, swim with me […]
