Dr. Gregory Felzien is the medical advisor with the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Division of Health Protection/IDI-HIV. Dr. Felzien received his medical degree from the University of Colorado School of Medicine, he completed an internship and residency at Vanderbilt University, and he has a fellowship in infectious diseases from the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Felzien is board-certified in internal medicine and infectious diseases, and he is certified as an American Academy of HIV specialist.
Suleima Salgado is the director of Telehealth & Telemedicine for the Georgia Department of Public Health. She is responsible for setting the department’s strategic goals to increase access and bring health equity to underserved and rural areas of the state – using two-way/real-time video conferencing. Suleima has over 10 years of experience in government, media, communications, telehealth and public relations. It is also worth noting that she has a master’s degree in business administration from Southeastern University in Florida.
