60. The Name Change

What does it truly mean when God changes your name?
In this deeply personal solo episode, Martha shares the powerful spiritual journey behind her recent name change—a shift that became far more than an update on paper. It became an identity upgrade, a divine rebrand, and a moment of stepping into a new level of authority, calling, and purpose.
From fasting and prayer to a Holy Spirit encounter that broke off an orphan spirit, to discovering the prophetic meanings behind her maiden and married names. This episode unpacks the significance of biblical name changes and why they often mark a turning point in a person’s destiny.
I’m sharing:
• The biblical pattern of identity shifts—Jacob to Israel, Sarai to Sarah, Hadassah to Esther
• How old identities can keep you playing small without realizing it
• The moment of breakthrough that led to her name change
• The role of fasting in hearing God’s blueprint for your next season
• Why surrender often precedes upgrade
• How identity shifts impact your business, leadership, and generational legacy
• What it looks like to operate not in your own strength, but in divine alignment
If you’re sensing a shift, longing for a breakthrough, or stepping into a new season of purpose, this episode will remind you that God is not done writing your story.
Sometimes all it takes is one encounter, one surrender, one name change.
