درباره این اپیزود
HI, welcome to the Elysium Awakening podcast. This is your host, Courtney Allen. I am going to bring you a riveting tale about a dystopian future where there is an eternal struggle between the “Elites,” the rich, and the “Stems,” the poor, and life itself. A fight to grow old in a world where everyone only lives to the age of 40. Tune in every week for a new episode that pushes you further into Elara’s world and her new fight for life. This story will be narrated to you by me. With new, unexpected speakers when available. New episodes drop every Thursday. You can find my weekly podcast on Overcast, Pocket Casts, or Castbox, or wherever you listen to your podcast!
Episode 1 Title: The Great Slumber
We meet Elara and Kai in their small Detroit apartment, counting down the seconds to her 40th birthday. The episode builds the tension of the Great Slumber—the moment a citizen of the STEMS District is supposed to enter a permanent, peaceful rest. Elara goes limp, but when she wakes up hours later, she realizes she's still awake and terrified.
