Skeleton Keys’ “Shake It” returns to Disco Infiltrators with a two-track remix package built for bigger rooms, later nights and heavier systems.
Hobbs (UK) and Carlos Van D take the original into tougher territory, reinforcing its unmistakable vocal hook with a weighty low end, punchy percussion and a rolling arrangement that keeps steadily turning the pressure up. It is a groove-first rework made with busy dancefloors and peak-time sets firmly in mind.
Valmer comes at it from a different angle, raising the tempo and injecting his Parisian house sensibility into the track. Crisp drums, funk-driven movement and a brighter, more urgent energy give his version plenty of lift while retaining the playful spirit of the original.
Two contrasting interpretations, one clear purpose. “Shake It The Remixes” gives Skeleton Keys’ original a powerful new lease of life and delivers a pair of cuts ready to do serious damage on the dancefloor.
