Sister Elena, a 32-year-old nun, has devoted twelve years to the Convent of St. Jude, where she is admired for her calm devotion. Beneath her composed exterior, however, she wrestles with a deep curiosity about experiences beyond the spiritual life, particularly the intense "fire" described by mystics.
Her perspective begins to change when she befriends Julian, a restoration architect repairing the convent. Their connection grows through thoughtful conversations about beauty, faith, and geometry, gradually developing into mutual attraction. Julian sees Elena as an individual rather than simply a symbol of religious purity.
