00:02:37
Speaker 3: Outside the box. I'll I was told yesterday that people are robots, that.
00:02:42
Speaker 2: The robots, that none of these young kids from a luminary can think it is no robot robot. He's a man of great consequence. I tell you what, try aspire to the nation, because I get I guarantee the nations bringing up cookie dough and ice cream.
00:02:56
Speaker 3: If you would have been on it.
00:02:58
Speaker 2: You didn't get anything.
00:02:59
Speaker 4: I came in and I focused on his work. Well that's I came in and I said, hey, we were talking about you. We were kind of hoping he might bring up He goes, I didn't have the stream on, but he said there was no stream, and I was like, there's the audio. There's all the audio, So who's.
00:03:15
Speaker 2: At fault for that? Where are we on the stream?
00:03:18
Speaker 4: The video stuff?
00:03:19
Speaker 2: I like a signing blame. Whose fault is it?
00:03:21
Speaker 4: Throw it on because the girl has already started.
00:03:23
Speaker 3: I came in here today and it's unbelievable the sensitivity for somebody who dishes it out at the level that he does. One little comment and he like he lost his mind.
00:03:35
Speaker 4: I'm so, we've got our two.
00:03:37
Speaker 2: I was not hurt.
00:03:38
Speaker 3: We've got our are here. Stev's are here. Gibbet was talking was with Paulus yeah and says, hey, the third SoundBite you guys sent me. A Mahomes just goes to some Twitter page or whatever. And I was like, well, that's on Gibbe and I said, that's on me, and then Stevie said, actually it was on me, and I said, well, he's the boss, so he ultimately responsible. It's on him. That sent him off into a tizzy where he told me to eat something.
00:04:05
Speaker 2: Then I don't a.
00:04:06
Speaker 4: Lot of at that point.
00:04:10
Speaker 2: It was outrageous, like one little comment, give me a break, sensitive given you can't because it were because actually shut him up for three No, not at all. You can't live in a house, Like what do you mean we're talking right now? Glass glass when you throw stones? Yeah, absolutely, you just unbelievable.
00:04:28
Speaker 3: That's kind of like a you're just the head, honchow. That's the consequence of being the head on show.
00:04:32
Speaker 2: That's your u that we had earlier. This was it yesterday. If you build a home in one of your subs screws up, you're responsible exactly. So that's the way that Yeah, that's right. Well we're gonna find out. They out. We'll see how they do. I like Jacob squared, the bar was low, Yes, the bar was low.
00:04:56
Speaker 3: You guys are already right, You guys are right now currently tied for second place in Stevie.
00:05:01
Speaker 2: Them Yeah, even like a C plus performance is gonna net you guys wins.
00:05:04
Speaker 3: It's gonna put you on the podium. It's gonna put you on the podium.
00:05:08
Speaker 2: You know. We had now we have we have had an Ax Stevie. He was he was Apex STEVIEE. He was for Apex. Stevie was was someone who I will vouch for delight in perpetuity. Yeah, anytime he needs anything. Yeah, can we got guys on not yet. I just want to know what their goals are. We'll do that privately too soon. So you're you're so excitable early with the Stevie's listen, you want you throw it. Sometimes you went down to teach somebody how to swim me throw in the water. Yeah right, It doesn't work out often, not often. They drowned sometimes. And also like you and I own the pool, we're throwing them into, right, so we don't want the liability. He does well, he does. Yeah, that's right.
00:05:49
Speaker 4: Just ask the woman on Twitter the other we have no looking for the head, oh baby mine.
00:05:55
Speaker 2: That was something.
00:05:56
Speaker 3: By the way, last night was on a big business dinner with miss k as she is, you know, being become on our way to being a luminary in her new her new profession, Titan of Industry, Titan of Industry, the Angel of ad come, we like to callr oh boy. Hold on, we'll get back this in a second. When out we were a Jojo scrin Falls lovely place. If you haven't eaten there, you need to eat. That's ridiculous. We should go there and break bread together. If we ever, if we ever have transformative Turkey, then we can go to JoJo's.
00:06:23
Speaker 2: Continue. No, I haven't. I'd love to. I'd love to do all of those things.
00:06:26
Speaker 4: Yeah, he'd love to watch john Wick. One day he'll get the opportunity. I just want to go over there.
00:06:32
Speaker 3: I want to go over there and have a day of swimming, hoops, FIFA, transformative Turkey.
00:06:36
Speaker 2: I'd like to do that too. I don't even get to you.
00:06:38
Speaker 3: I feel like you do that all the time.
00:06:39
Speaker 2: I don't.
00:06:41
Speaker 3: Let's find a day he's.
00:06:42
Speaker 4: In the middle of orchestrating at all.
00:06:44
Speaker 2: It's it's been a cap we have an with all this. He hasn't even watched I haven't seen the most recent episode of Righteous Gemstones. I'm I'm doing nothing at this.
00:06:54
Speaker 3: It's awful.
00:06:55
Speaker 4: What's going on?
00:06:56
Speaker 2: Just feels like you're just under a yoke. It's my it's a oak of my own building, of your own choice. I'm I got the we did the dog, we decided to have the three children. It's all in the brochure. Didn't get It's not like there's a surprise here. It's not like everybody when we got the dog was like, yeah, you're raising it. The kids will do nothing like everybody says that, Yeah, that's exactly that's what it's gone.
00:07:17
Speaker 3: I wouldn't do sad. I'm sad. I thought that we might get a little more on them. But anyway back I was at JoJo's, ran into our quarterback. What's our cuisine? What's our cuisine? The light for JoJo's everything it's it's a kind of an Italian steakhouse.
00:07:28
Speaker 2: Italian steakhouse is what I call it.
00:07:30
Speaker 3: The best vodka sauce in town. I say that all right confidently. In fact, I ordered the vodka sas is that the river for the table? As an app for the table? A seventeen river girls is right on the river.
00:07:41
Speaker 2: It's you asked for the vodka sauce as an app? Oh, baby, like with bread or what do you dip. It was some nice, beautiful RIGATONI. Oh like a you ordered noodles.
00:07:52
Speaker 3: Everybody's got to taste it. That's how good the vodka sauce.
00:07:54
Speaker 2: I like that that Herb Street put me onto that one order for the table, like.
00:07:58
Speaker 3: The crab legs when I was in that's what the Chicago.
00:08:01
Speaker 2: Everybody's gonna want to taste of it. Let's just get it and that commit to it for the dinner.
00:08:05
Speaker 4: I like it.
00:08:05
Speaker 3: Yeah, So we did that and we ran out of the quarterback in great spirits excited when.
00:08:10
Speaker 2: The quarterback the you ran into four four nice our guy.
00:08:15
Speaker 3: Yeah, he's he lives, he's he's an eastsider.
00:08:18
Speaker 2: Smart, straight to the moon. That's where you go.
00:08:22
Speaker 3: Yeah, load the rocket ship neighborhood and him similar.
00:08:26
Speaker 2: Yeah right next, not far the So that was cool. What did you give me your order?
00:08:33
Speaker 4: My order? Yesterday?
00:08:34
Speaker 3: We started off with the vodka sauce. As I mentioned, we also had the stuffed peppers and a shrimp cocktail for our appetizers. Oh, the lady and I split the arugula and artichoke cart cell, which is a real delight. I like it.
00:08:47
Speaker 4: I'm a big guy.
00:08:48
Speaker 2: I like a lot it can be done simply with olive oil like lemon and farsan. That's that's it, is that what they did. Of course, that's that's such a palate cleanser before you go into the tricked.
00:09:00
Speaker 3: And then Maine, I went with the lamb chops because I had made a steak on Monday and I had a steak in Chicago, so then I went. I went lamb chops, which are just a delight Yeah, they're very good. Love lamb perfectly cooked medium rare is a delightful thing.
00:09:11
Speaker 2: The only thing that's tough, and has always been tough for me, is knowing where that how the point of origin. That's always a little tricky. It's there, I know it isn't there. The worst would be for it to spoil, I understand, So I'm going to let it fulfill its purpose.
00:09:27
Speaker 3: Had a couple of of repisados on an ice block with the muddled, Hollowpenian line, and then switched to a nice, big big wine for the lamb. The prisoner, the prisoner, the wonderful meal.
00:09:40
Speaker 2: Wednesday, I made a shrimp scampy that Beamsy and Bootsy picked the shrimp and such out of and ate the noodles. What, Yeah, they don't beams. You'll eat a little shrimp boots. You won't touch it.
00:09:50
Speaker 3: Question for you as the as the preparer of the shrimp, when you cook the shrimp, when you do the initial sawte, do you saute with the shells on or do you d shell raw?
00:09:59
Speaker 4: I don't.
00:09:59
Speaker 2: I I have to be economical. I don't have time for for the people to I get them. I buy them ready to cook. I'd buy them without shells. Oh baby, the shells so much flavor though, Yeah, but I don't. I don't have time for that.
00:10:10
Speaker 4: I can't.
00:10:11
Speaker 2: And then I'm gonna have to do it for the children. Of course, it would be the way to do it. Neither of you have children who you're feeding all of the time with an entire meal. Not all the time. I go for everybody.
00:10:22
Speaker 3: Make it for everybody, right, But.
00:10:23
Speaker 2: You have to make separate meal for boods.
00:10:26
Speaker 3: Yeah, so I'm making two meals.
00:10:27
Speaker 2: To your point, your kids are fully grown. If I cook them on the shell, I'm the one who's gonna have to do so. I So this is I understand. But I'm making one meal for everybody.
00:10:38
Speaker 4: Same.
00:10:39
Speaker 3: I don't think it is I'm making one meal for three people.
00:10:41
Speaker 4: Mine are much.
00:10:41
Speaker 2: Smaller, and it's five versus three. Okay, so they're incapable of doing and you're really, yeah, you're right three.
00:10:47
Speaker 3: But you could make the case though that quantity wise, we're probably making the same. If not, I might be making more given my voracious appetite. But in terms of in.
00:10:54
Speaker 2: Terms of the job for you, the job is probably done when the plate hits the table.
00:11:02
Speaker 3: I don't know then I clean.
00:11:03
Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, when you sit down for meal, when you hand the plate to the humans to eat. Now you're in, you're eating.
00:11:10
Speaker 4: I'm eating.
00:11:11
Speaker 2: You're not cutting. There's no cutting strip. Absolutely, that's so that's I'm still in the cutting.
00:11:18
Speaker 3: Let me just throw this out at you, because the shells, I think are an important layer of flavor in your in your in your scampy pasta dish that you do those themselves. Take them out of the pan, put on those nice black gloves that you had me get those nights, and those are boom, pop all the tails off, and then at the final second you throw those back in when you toss everything and mix the flavors, and it's a delight.
00:11:39
Speaker 2: The other thing that I have to be that I have to be careful of with this operation is it can't be too shrimpy for the rest, So I have to go minimal on that minimal shrimp. That's kind of where we're at. So anyway we did, that's very different evenings. You and I was not running into our quarterback as they were rifling through.
00:11:56
Speaker 3: You're running out on the pitch though, because that's I wanted to. I felt I was trying to look and see if Kobe was popping up there.
00:12:02
Speaker 2: No, I didn't see.
00:12:03
Speaker 4: Him at all.
00:12:03
Speaker 2: No, there was no pitch I he was. They they decided it was one of those things is in the moment you know it's gonna be a miss. They're like the boys are like, yeah, we're gonna build a fort and we're gonna sleep in the fort today. And I'm like that forts are great to hang out in, but no one's sleeping in him. That's not gonna work. There's not gonna be any part of that. So they go up when you sleep at night fourteen war's coming, correct, yes, and no one's gonna sleep there. So it's like nine fifteen, nine thirty and they're like, all right, boys, bedtime let's go. Time to go, and they're like, oh, we're sleeping in the fort. Uh huh, okay, can we just go to the beds now and skip to that part because I know you're getting to that point.
00:12:37
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:12:38
Speaker 2: So it's like I could have told everybody how I was gonna go, including advising my wife. I was gonna go. She's like, oh, let them it's summer. Okay, fine, I won't be a curmudge and I'll let them ten twenty bootsy. Hey, we're going on our beds now. Okay, fantastic. Hope they had a great time in the hope you had a great hour in the fort. But I knew it was they named the fort usually Fort Brave.
00:12:59
Speaker 4: Fort Breve.
00:13:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I like that. By the way, I'm ready, I'm available your two. I gotta sharp, I gotta sharpen let me.
00:13:08
Speaker 3: I have to earn my way to you. I gotta beat sharp, I gotta beat. I gotta beat the young fellow. My new my new uh messy at that center attack is it's nice?
00:13:18
Speaker 2: Well yeah, I mean that it ought to be.
00:13:20
Speaker 3: It should be as good.
00:13:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, those like I was saying to you yesterday, those three there are the three three of the five most dangerous attack people in the game.
00:13:29
Speaker 3: Who would the other two be? In your mind, Holland, I.
00:13:30
Speaker 2: Would say the other Holland would be the fourth, and the fifth is probably Lewandowski or Benzima. Is that Benzima from Benzema, Maderator Lewandowski at Barcelona?
00:13:40
Speaker 3: Those would probably be the What about I like, I'm not afraid of Mane.
00:13:43
Speaker 2: I like, yeah, he's fast, really fast, but like he's not a skilled he's not as skilled as as Naymar.
00:13:49
Speaker 3: And and I just did uh, I just did really good?
00:13:52
Speaker 4: What is it? The Euro.
00:13:55
Speaker 2: Yeah?
00:13:55
Speaker 3: The champions yea, and I ran through that and I finished and Bap had twenty MESSI at how many games?
00:14:02
Speaker 4: Fifteen?
00:14:03
Speaker 3: I think I played fourteen games or thirteen games total thirteen. That's a pretty good race twenty thirteen, and and Neymar had ten. Yeah, and a couple of other guys had a random fobby on here.
00:14:13
Speaker 4: Whatever. I'm ready, I'm ready, you are ready. I feel good about it.
00:14:16
Speaker 2: I think he's got lacrosse tonight. I know that he has lacrosse. He goes to eight perfect available, so eight thirty probably would be his his time. I'm ready, so I'll run it by him. He's at football camp today from eight to three.
00:14:31
Speaker 4: I like that.
00:14:32
Speaker 3: So I like that very By the way, just so you know, earlier I dropped Stone on who you guys called Stone yesterday? He was completely confused. It is Yellowstone, yeotone, Yeah, so let's call it.
00:14:44
Speaker 2: Let's I think, well, I think if we want to go in the Yellowstone world like and that's I think, yeah, like that Rip's appropriate. Yeah, rip would be appropriate. It is I think that he has that would have the right tone for him.
00:14:58
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's just like the right hand. I could do literally everything.
00:15:01
Speaker 2: They do everything.
00:15:02
Speaker 4: You have a problem.
00:15:03
Speaker 2: I don't know if he I'm not sure he's as murderous.
00:15:07
Speaker 3: I don't have it on I don't have video proof, but I have it on pretty good authority. He lasso's dogs in his spare time.
00:15:15
Speaker 4: There was a cow running loose on the east side of Cleveland the other day, and I feel like he would have been thriving in that situation.
00:15:21
Speaker 2: How far did that thing?
00:15:23
Speaker 4: Yeah, he's got the last. He just looked at me, did the lasso?
00:15:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, And be honest with you, he was for both of you two.
00:15:29
Speaker 3: I'm stopping of that.
00:15:31
Speaker 2: In all my years growing up, my twenty two years of life in the great state of Montana, attending various rodeos and brandings on a yearly basis. I do not recall anyone calling it a lasso.
00:15:47
Speaker 4: What did they call it?
00:15:48
Speaker 2: A rope? Rope?
00:15:50
Speaker 4: Well, you would know.
00:15:52
Speaker 2: I don't recall anybody saying we got to go get our lassos, you get your rope, get a rope. Yeah, that was it.
00:15:59
Speaker 3: A rope can be for a great many things.
00:16:01
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:16:01
Speaker 3: I think alasso is more specific type of road.
00:16:04
Speaker 2: I think alasso is something that people call it. Who don't do it. I don't do it. Yeah, So that's what that's what I think. That's what I think it is. That's where I stand on that. We have a mail bag edition of the program. We missed this yesterday. Clay Matthews Junior, Alaty shot and Air named semifinalists for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the Hall's twelve man Senior Committee. The duo is among sixty semi finalist who advanced the next stage of the voting process. Matthews is one of thirty one players who advanced to the next round of consideration with Schotennheim or one of twenty nine semi finalists licted separately from the Hall's twelve person Coach Contributor Committee. Do these go in with special designation if you make it on this or do you just part of the class?
00:16:39
Speaker 4: I think you're part of the class.
00:16:41
Speaker 2: So it's kind of a way round, right if.
00:16:44
Speaker 4: You've only if you've been on the ballot for so long, you then go to the veterans Committee.
00:16:49
Speaker 2: It's really difficult because that's how like Matthews played got in right this year, Clay played nineteen years. Yep, he's really good. He's at all time. He's in our he's in our Ring of honor appropriately, so that was a wonderful time when that happened, beloved. Obviously, fame is tough. Hall of Fame is tough. That's gold jacket, that's best at your position for a period of time, or on a short list of best at your position for a period of time. He is every bit what I would think is a borderline in or out guy. And I know Grossi's defended it vehemently that he should be in. I can see both sides of it, don't I don't know that it is that cut and dry. I think it's a really tough thing to be a Hall of Famer, and we always our thing that we always go to is like all pros, Where are you all pros? Yep, that's usually where you end up every time a pro. It's a good way to look at it.
00:17:43
Speaker 4: I think that.
00:17:46
Speaker 3: The Hall of Fame needed to go one of two directions, and Deon Sanders certainly alluded.
00:17:50
Speaker 4: To that, right.
00:17:51
Speaker 3: It needed to be that exclusive where it is legit only the best of the best, like truly pretty much, if you made it on your first ballot, yeah you're a Hall of Famer. Otherwise, you know, or maybe if you make it in your first or second year or something.
00:18:06
Speaker 2: That we're stupid though, like Tara Owan's not making it up. Well first, I mean that was stupid.
00:18:09
Speaker 3: So Cleco four time Pro Bowl or two time All Pro. He had one season with twenty sacks, which was the year that he was second in the Defensive Player of the Year who was first team All Pro that year. He had one other season with ten sacks and that was it in his whole career and he got in. That's where I think that you run into problems, and that's where somebody like Clay Matthews all of a sudden becomes deserved. Now claim Matthew's four time Pro Bowl no zero first team All pros So that then that's an So he was an All Pro like a he was a second team, one time second team All Pro. Because it says three time All Pro. He was a one time second team All Pro. And he was Pro Football References second team All nineteen eighties. He did not make any of the Hall of Fame's All Decades Team or any of that.
00:19:00
Speaker 4: And I think he was hurt. We were talking about this when we were putting the rundown together. It because sacks weren't an official stat the number of sacks he had that never counted as sacks.
00:19:14
Speaker 3: Well, this has a purple listing.
00:19:17
Speaker 2: They when did they start counting sacks?
00:19:19
Speaker 3: I don't know that that was right. He was never a sack of guy. He had one year in nineteen eighty forty he had twelve sacks. He led the league in tackles three times.
00:19:29
Speaker 4: Four Pro Bowls.
00:19:30
Speaker 3: He was never really a seineteen eighty two eighty two. It's profobill reverence.
00:19:35
Speaker 4: I mess.
00:19:35
Speaker 3: Somebody must have gone back and watched the games. He had thirteen sacks in his first four seasons five to five to two and one.
00:19:40
Speaker 2: You know the thing that's really difficult, And I'm I'm finding this right now because I always think about this when I think of Clay Matthews, and I'm not pretending he did not have the longevities not as important before as to this franchise, before a stretch. Michael Dean Perry has a hell of an argument.
00:19:57
Speaker 4: Yes, you want to talk about we stumbling upon that when we were doing But.
00:20:00
Speaker 2: Even there's discrepancy because on Michael Dean Perry's Wikipedia page it says that he is a five time first team All Pro and a two times second or a one time second team All Pro. Good not correct. I assume the Pro Football Reference numbers are correct, So they has two time first team All Pro, one time second team All.
00:20:18
Speaker 3: Pro, two seconds.
00:20:22
Speaker 2: All right, so he's got four All Pro selections to first team. Yes, there's a stretch of time where Michael Dean Perry. What's I mean you're talking about six Pro Bowls? Yeah, I mean there's a stretch there where Michael Dean Perry might be a ten year career. That's pretty good. There was a time when he was the best at his position in the sport for a considerable amount.
00:20:43
Speaker 3: Of ten In my mind, that is a perhaps a more stout Hall of Fame resume.
00:20:49
Speaker 2: It's really good and it never gets talked about.
00:20:51
Speaker 4: Yep. Agreed.
00:20:53
Speaker 2: So it's tough.
00:20:56
Speaker 3: Clay's amazing, amazing and a longevity is incredible.
00:21:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's tough.
00:21:00
Speaker 3: I think it's hard if you have not been a first team all pro I think that it's hard to be a Hall of Famer. But I think what he has done at the same time was remarkable to be able to play at that high of a level, you know, for that long.
00:21:19
Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, absolutely, SP's any I watched none of it.
00:21:25
Speaker 3: I just watched the clip of Hamlin. I watched McAfee's clip, and I watched the bronze clip and that's it.
00:21:29
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think it. You know, this was something that they started years ago because of this time it was there was nothing.
00:21:35
Speaker 4: Yep.
00:21:36
Speaker 2: It feels like now they kind of give it to Hey, are you going to be here, We'll give it to you. They have all these emotional ones they have like the Hamlin one, yeah, and all of that type of stuff where they have the emotional connections ones awards that they give. But it's just so nonsensical to give like Male Athlete of the Year, they give it to Patrick Mahomes over Nikola Jokic and Lionel Messi. Like Argentina hadn't won a World Cup since eighty six, Lionel Messi had the pressure of sport on his shoulders. Yep, I guess. I mean, I know he's in the States. He was in Miami last night, so he's in the States. I guess he said, what are the SP's what? I don't think I will go to that, But like you know, those things, it's so arbitrary how they know Team of the Year player all that stuff. It's just nonsense and I don't know that there's any way coming back for it. I think when it launched, we didn't have as many options of things to do, so like people watched it because it was on, and they also used to have great comedians, like the Norm McDonald clip. They've kind of ended having comedians hosting it.
00:22:34
Speaker 4: He was so great.
00:22:35
Speaker 2: He roasted the head of ESPN because he was buddies with Juice Simpson. Like that kind of ended the comedian thing doing it because they didn't want that type of edge to it.
00:22:45
Speaker 3: I watched that clip.
00:22:47
Speaker 4: So great, It's fantastic, so great.
00:22:49
Speaker 3: Yeah, poor Chucky would gets dragged into the muck.
00:22:52
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:22:52
Speaker 2: The other thing I noticed too in some of the clips I was watching last night, like you very evident that the writers strike there was no material. Yeah, yeah, yeah, the material wasn't good.
00:23:02
Speaker 4: Here's what I would say.
00:23:03
Speaker 3: We live in a time now where there was a time when the SP's would be the only time you get to kind of see these people, maybe see some of their personalities. You know, that's not the case anymore. Same even with the Oscars and they have their award show that used to be oh wow, you can actually see the stars and hear their interviews, and now they do a billion interviews. They have their own social media channels where they're videoing and basically interviewing themselves and putting out their content their personality. So it's not that special to see these people not playing the sport that they play as it used to be, And I think that correct removes the draw of it. In many ways, we know who these people are because they tell us. We have a complete window into their lives and worlds. With how much people share on social media now.
00:23:48
Speaker 2: Which brings us to Quarterback, which was produced by Peyton watching it tonight NFL Films. I watched a little of it because I thought it would be something I would talk about today, so I watched a little of it last night. They're really so this is this all comes off of Drive to Survive, the F one show, and everyone's trying to duplicate.
00:24:08
Speaker 3: And swing and break pointer.
00:24:11
Speaker 2: They're all trying to give all of this access based on the popularity of Drive to Survive. Mahomes gives a lot. He's he's NFL film, so he's miked. So that's how you get the viral clip of him talking about I want the Bengals, like I know we match up better against the Bills. By the way, Poisel Mahomes is telling you, what's the hardest team to play?
00:24:32
Speaker 3: Come on, come on, you're acting like you needed to get ammunition againsty of the takes.
00:24:42
Speaker 2: The poor kid, they're lucky. It was where is he going to ring?
00:24:46
Speaker 4: Now?
00:24:46
Speaker 3: Giveb He's got to so many children, now it's maybe maybe you cut? Are you cutting? Bait loves them too much.
00:24:55
Speaker 2: The they're grown adults like your son. They're very lucky they got Mahomes cousin seems like a nice guy. Marcus Mariot is a zilch. Mahomes is the whole operation though, and I think he probably did it because Manning was producing. It is probably why he agreed to do it, and it's a pretty good window into him.
00:25:16
Speaker 3: How are these the three that they landed on and the whole Like I think Trevor Lawrence would have been fascinating last year.
00:25:21
Speaker 2: I think that what you what he was probably thinking, if you're Manning, is you're thinking, I want to do this a bunch of years. I can ask one favor of each guy. I've got a headliner in Mahomes. I don't need three headliners. Mahomes will carry it. The other two can just be there. And then if I go off of this model next year, I can ask Burrow next year, I can ask Lawrence next year, I can ask Watson next year, I can ask Alan like. I think that's my guess is what he was thinking is I want to do this a bunch. I don't want to ask all my favors year one second all Like for this type of access, what was the cost? What did they pay Patrick Mahomes for this type of access for his content?
00:26:01
Speaker 3: I don't know, it's it's pretty incredible. The other thing is going back to an incident that we were involved in. You cannot convince me based on just the highlights that I've seen that they don't know the audio of everything that's been set on a football field.
00:26:14
Speaker 2: And the just had this conversation last week. There's no way. I just had this conversation last week about this. Further cements it that there's absolutely no way. Yeah that and remember that game was it was primetime, so it was shot as a super Bowl as many cameras and microphones as a playoff game or a super Bowl. And the notion that there was no audio, come on, yeah, come on, be very simple.
00:26:39
Speaker 3: By the way, is I don't know if this is did you put is the Dan Snyder stuff in here?
00:26:43
Speaker 4: No? No, did you read that article?
00:26:46
Speaker 2: I have not had a chance to read it.
00:26:48
Speaker 3: Okay, we'll talk about it tomorrow. What I'm going to say to you is this, Well, we'll talk about it next week because it'll be just as relevant then. Because people are kind of picking up there are probably ten jaw dropping moments in this article.
00:27:02
Speaker 4: Hold on the one quote that I like, Well, I'll find it.
00:27:10
Speaker 3: I'll just give you one snippet and this might not be the worst, but this is top three. When they were going to punish him, he came in a room with his lawyers and all the leagues lawyers and Godela and all these people and did it had a PowerPoint presentation. It wasn't his defense of what he had done. It wasn't even hadn't been anything to do with the allegations that were made by the investigator. It was a power point. Yeah, baby, It was a power point of photos, texts, emails, voicemails.
00:27:45
Speaker 2: In criminate.
00:27:46
Speaker 3: It was a black mail PowerPoint, yes, of everybody in the room.
00:27:56
Speaker 4: It's pretty amazing.
00:27:57
Speaker 3: And right now there's a big fear. And one of the reasons at the penalty that lessened is the severity of his penalty. It's pretty well documented, and that now the big fear is that's still all out there. Yeah, and that he's that's going to be his like parting shot to the league on the way out, as he's going to release all that stuff we can.
00:28:16
Speaker 4: The two reportedly had an interaction in which Schneider called Gruden fat and Gruden didn't mentioned dribbling Snyder's head into the asphalt.
00:28:26
Speaker 3: There's a I'm telling you this is and that is the tip of the ice. Like I want I want to watch this. I want the full I want the full documentary.
00:28:33
Speaker 2: Of Oh that'll happen. There will be because they just did a BlackBerry. They'll like they do this, take real life stuff and then make a movie like that'll happen here. Yeah, a black male power point. I mean, we all knew. That's why. That's why. I mean, it takes that much to make him. But the habits, this was his life's goal and purpose was owning the then Washington. Yes, that was the entire operation. It was his dream forever to own that he did. He was not going to give it up. Ever, Look how long he held onto the name forever, Like he was never going to Yeah, that's fascinating, all right, pretty long read.
00:29:19
Speaker 4: In believing that Goodell quote pushed the code red against him, Gruden insists he won't settle his lawsuit for any amount, intending to quote to burn the house down to reveal the truth about who ordered the leaks, and.
00:29:33
Speaker 3: They won't let him. Yeah, they apparently they will.
00:29:34
Speaker 2: Well, that was the most transparent thing of all time. Like how like John Gruden got out of all of that, we're gonna fire John Gruden.
00:29:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, and we're gonna it starts off with Davis's phone call with Goodell and basically and Jeff Pash I think, and he was like, yeah, okay, well we're not firing him. Yeah, and that was basically, well what are you going to do?
00:29:55
Speaker 4: Right?
00:29:55
Speaker 3: And then it ended up being what it was, which.
00:29:58
Speaker 2: Was it's it is all right. I look forward to that.
00:30:02
Speaker 4: It's wild.
00:30:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, you'll enjoy that, all right, you'll enjoy it.
00:30:06

00:31:23
Speaker 4: We might take Fila with us.
00:31:25
Speaker 2: Oh wow, jeez. It's a long drive and it's a tough drive because there's there's time when you're going through those mountains in West Virginia, there's no there's no place to pull over if something happens like I don't know what they do, like when somebody gets a flat tire on that road.
00:31:40
Speaker 4: I don't know what.
00:31:40
Speaker 2: Like this drive, I guess you's tried to drive. Don't stop your car. No, I don't know. It's it's a long drive. It's a drive.
00:31:48
Speaker 4: Yeah, but if you don't drive, then you don't have a vehicle down there.
00:31:52
Speaker 2: You're not going I'll tell you right now.
00:31:53
Speaker 4: Give it.
00:31:53
Speaker 2: You're not going anywhere anyway. I know you want to go whitewater rafting or whatever, but like there's no.
00:31:58
Speaker 4: Oh, I'm going into town on a couple of bars.
00:32:01
Speaker 2: I was just there. I don't know that you're going to feel that way once you're down there that I don't think that you're going to want to leave the the premises.
00:32:10
Speaker 4: Well, it depends who's picking up the tab every night.
00:32:13
Speaker 2: Well the tabs that I mean, isn't the tab just all on the Cleveland Browns?
00:32:17
Speaker 4: No?
00:32:18
Speaker 2: I think so, I think you're safe. I think you're working the whole time.
00:32:24
Speaker 4: You're there.
00:32:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, you're there. I think you're all under the umbrella of SWEG. That's what I think. That's how I would operate.
00:32:30
Speaker 4: I don't think Swig's going until later in the weekend.
00:32:32
Speaker 2: Well he's got work here, correct, Yeah, so yeah, I think you're.
00:32:40
Speaker 4: Yeah, I don't know. We'll see, we'll see.
00:32:44
Speaker 2: I do like the idea of driving them from the standpoint of you control your own destiny in that sense, you can, you know, if there's a way for you to get out of town earlier or something, maybe well.
00:32:51
Speaker 4: And that's you know, depending on how many padded practices are there are the following weekend.
00:32:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, there's your opportunity.
00:32:58
Speaker 4: If I don't have to wait till Sunday to depart, can.
00:33:00
Speaker 3: I give you my give you my sticks on Thursday.
00:33:04
Speaker 4: Uh, you will probably have to do your sticks and your suitcase Wednesday.
00:33:09
Speaker 2: You got it a Wednesday equipment people. M h.
00:33:12
Speaker 4: If I give it to you, there'll be a fee.
00:33:15
Speaker 2: Okay, well the sticks do take you got he's got three people with him. They're gonna have They're.
00:33:20
Speaker 3: Gonna get their caravan.
00:33:21
Speaker 4: I think we have two. We have two s uvs.
00:33:24
Speaker 2: T SUVs.
00:33:25
Speaker 4: There you go at. By the way, can we talk about the fact that there's an open space.
00:33:31
Speaker 2: Oh yeah, yesterday and the show we were talking about the seating area and we were curious. And now it's gone. The seats are gone. The seats are gone, tables are gone. Take it.
00:33:39
Speaker 3: It's it's not a real you could take it.
00:33:41
Speaker 4: Part of me wants to take a sleeping bag out there with a pillow and just lay down.
00:33:44
Speaker 3: We're not going to bring our suitcases to the plane.
00:33:46
Speaker 4: No, No, because it'll be because that way you can bring a big suitcase. Because you're going for a week. Big suitcases are not going under They're not flying suitcases under the plane. They're putting them on a truck shipping them down there. So when you get to the Green Brier your suitcase will either be right there in front of you or it will be at your room. Got it.
00:34:09
Speaker 3: Yeah, trying to give you my clubs. Could you give you my clubs twenty bucks?
00:34:15
Speaker 4: I don't know.
00:34:16
Speaker 2: I don't have to have a room. He's got SUVs.
00:34:19
Speaker 4: Okay, but we've got to take all the video gear. We've got to take how many radio studio how many humans? Uh? Probably too per vehicle.
00:34:29
Speaker 2: Too per vehicle.
00:34:30
Speaker 4: The whole back seats wide open.
00:34:31
Speaker 2: You got a back seat, You're gonna have a back seat in.
00:34:33
Speaker 4: A trunk, working through it.
00:34:35
Speaker 2: Full sized SUVs? Are we talking tahoes? I asked for a suburban navigators to oh, then you're safe. You got plenty of take your clubs. We'll see, we'll see if I know they get that. And then but I requested that that's not going to fit. But in a suburban or a tahoe.
00:34:51
Speaker 4: That's what I'm hoping I get one of those.
00:34:53
Speaker 2: Tons of room.
00:34:54
Speaker 3: I'll even bring them home. I'll bring them home. You don't have worry about some k is coming out at the end of the end of the week.
00:34:59
Speaker 4: Good.
00:34:59
Speaker 2: Yeah, that's nice.
00:35:00
Speaker 4: It's very nice. We should talk through that because as to come at the back end of the way.
00:35:05
Speaker 2: Perfect should through that. I just we just did. I just hope that you guys, because much like the weather we've had here when we were there, it rained every day. Yeah, and it can be and lightning, really humid, really going yesterday through shut down. Do you guys see O'Hair by the way, that's not right? Tornado, Chicago, come on? Not and a night Chicago, Come on, O'Hair, come on. Climate Change coach our countdown to the start of training came continues interior offensive line. Yeah, let's go, Doc di z.
00:35:43
Speaker 3: So this is interesting, And what I mean by that is how many people ultimately are going to be kept in the offensive line room because we're talking yesterday about wide receivers, right, and could it be six? Could it be seven wide receivers? And if that happens, that's got to come at the expense of something else.
00:36:00
Speaker 2: Is this your fair mind?
00:36:01
Speaker 4: It is?
00:36:01
Speaker 2: It is because I have a blue one too.
00:36:04
Speaker 4: It's a wonderful color.
00:36:05
Speaker 2: Yeah, my cabin one though, and you have all my I gave you the greens.
00:36:09
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to need you to if you if you up your green supply again, I'm gonna need it.
00:36:14
Speaker 4: Again for the boards.
00:36:15
Speaker 3: Baby, it's almost that time, almost almost that time. Too soon you'll be putting a board together. And what the first game is from today? Three weeks from today.
00:36:27
Speaker 2: That's ridiculous day geese all being canton for the hoff that like, what are we wearing? What are we wearing for? I don't I think we should have coordinated at one of the either the game or something like. We need to have a coordinated haff you and I yes and gibe yes.
00:36:42
Speaker 3: I mean I think for the for the induction words suited and we're suited up.
00:36:47
Speaker 2: Like in the sun. Yeah, that night, for sure, But you think we're suited up at in the I don't know the people around.
00:36:53
Speaker 4: There and come back. I don't know if I'm gonna be with you guys for this the induction. Why not because we're working feeding the audio two affiliates. I might be somewhere else for the Yeah, I might be working for that. I don't like that. I want to.
00:37:07
Speaker 2: I think we stuff and sit out in the sun and suits.
00:37:10
Speaker 3: Yeah, it's like all day, it's all day.
00:37:15
Speaker 2: I mean, I'm too I'm going to and fro. I'm not you're going to come back, You're welcome to come in between. You're going to come back and go I'm going to come back and go back because like inductions like at noon, right, yeah right, we're not seven it'll spring.
00:37:28
Speaker 3: By the way, what a profit center this induction is? Oh yeah, like you would think like the inductees would be able to bring I don't know. This twenty feels like a somewhat of a reasonable number.
00:37:43
Speaker 2: Yeah. Not.
00:37:45
Speaker 3: They get to get tickets for his kids.
00:37:47
Speaker 2: Oh really yeah yeah yeah, oh really yeah, maybe that's conversation.
00:37:52
Speaker 3: Yeah, all right, I mean I get it for them.
00:37:55
Speaker 4: That's this is their event.
00:37:56
Speaker 3: This is the whole how they probably fund the year there? All right, anyway back to our interier offense. I started the center position. We got three guys on the ross right now. I think all three could make it. Ethan Posick, Nick Harris back after the torn acl and remember Nick Harris beat Ethan Posck out last year.
00:38:15
Speaker 2: Now this is it.
00:38:16
Speaker 3: Ethan Posta will go into starter, and then I think you have Luke Whippler as the center of the future. I think it's possible all three could make it, especially if we see Harris or Whippler work summit guard. If not, then I think there's a big battle here between Nick Harris and Luke Whippler, and if Nick Harris doesn't make the team, it will be so sad to me somebody who worked so hard gets injured on the second play of preseason last year and then that's like the end of his run here would be to me very very sad. I like Nick Harris a lot.
00:38:47
Speaker 4: I'm rooting for him.
00:38:48
Speaker 3: Guards, starters, Joel Botonio, Wyatt Tueller, backups. You know, Michael Dunn's been here and played for us for a long time. Drew Forbes has been with us for a long time. Wes Martin is a veteran who's played in the league, bounce around. He can play center and guard as well. And then Colby Gossit's been with us in the program at least for quite some time. So you know who your top two are. It feels like Michael Dunn and Drew Forbes would be your your three and four at the guard position. But how many do you keep on the offensive line? I remember, you have five starters. You have two tackle backups that are gonna make it for sure, James Hudson and Dewan Jones. You've got at least one center backup maybe two where you've got Nick Harris, Luke Whippler. And then the question becomes if no one of those two guys can also play some guard, do you need two guards? And this is the OFFENSEI line where you're gonna have a lot of guys on practice squad because you can always bring them up and they're always still here in your program. But Michael Dunn, Drew Forbes seems like the leaders in the clubhouse to me. And then Wes Martin, as I mentioned, is a veteran, but Posik last year was a top five center. Teller and Botonio, those guys are both pro bowlers, you know, back to back gears for Teller, four straight for Botonio. Botonio and all pro you know, Botonio kind of on that Hall of Fame, Traje.
00:40:01
Speaker 4: That's where we are.
00:40:01
Speaker 3: We'ren't a very good spot on the interior of our line with the starters, and then there's there's good quality depth done started for you and done well. They still like Drew Forbes, the fact that he's been here, you know, he was drafted, I want to say, in twenty nineteen, opted out.
00:40:13
Speaker 2: In COVID player X wasn't he and then.
00:40:15
Speaker 3: Came back and yeah he memory so yeah, yea yeah from that draft.
00:40:19
Speaker 2: Yeah, let me ask you a question. What was our total offensive line number last year coming out of camp?
00:40:25
Speaker 4: How many coming out of camp?
00:40:27
Speaker 2: Were we nine?
00:40:28
Speaker 3: I'd probably have to go back and find our initial fit. Let's say twenty twenty three. I guessed nine.
00:40:35
Speaker 2: Yeah, So if it's nine, here we go.
00:40:41
Speaker 4: These are up.
00:40:43
Speaker 2: I mean, we're you're at ten? Yeah now, and that's with I mean because obviously Posting Potonio.
00:40:50
Speaker 4: Tailers ten offensive line.
00:40:52
Speaker 2: Okay, so we would be at ten right now, and that would be with either Harris Whippler dun or Forbes not making it right.
00:41:01
Speaker 3: So last year, I'm gonna go through the I'm getting to the numbers here.
00:41:05
Speaker 4: I have the names. If you'd like, there were ten.
00:41:07
Speaker 2: Total, Yeah, give them to me, give them yep.
00:41:09
Speaker 4: Jederick, Wills, Jack Conklin, Chris Hubbard, James Hudson, Wyatt, Teller, Betonio, Done, Forbes, fro Holt, and Postick.
00:41:20
Speaker 3: So post It was the center, fro Holt was the backup center. Done was also a backup center and guard you had, you said, Hudson and Hubbard were your backups tackles.
00:41:33
Speaker 4: Yep, that's so.
00:41:34
Speaker 3: There was fro Holt done in Forbes on so they had three interior backups, two tackle backs.
00:41:38
Speaker 2: So if you have three, if that's the case, then either Done Forbes, Whippler, or Harris is not making it. At least one of those guys is not making well, yeah, you're not carrying for sure, they're not. So you're not you're not doing eleven. So one or maybe two of those guys won't make it, yep, but for sure one yep.
00:41:52
Speaker 3: Yeah, that's where we're at. That's where we're at. It's a good again.
00:41:57
Speaker 2: There's no questions going into the room. There's nothing. It's no, it is locked. It's as good an interior line as there is in the league. There are no questions here and beyond it, it's good. Done's good, Forbes, good Harris. As to you point out beat up posted last year and then Whipler. I mean they were shocked that Whipler left Ohio State. They felt like he could have been a late first early two had he gone back and played his final season in Columbus. So they know they down there, they believe he has that talent and everything that we've heard up here is that they see that as well and loves Yeah, well, what was it like the first practice like this is how to do this?
00:42:37
Speaker 4: Yep?
00:42:37
Speaker 2: And he pulled him out yep. Yeah, So that's I think there's a real good shot. Maybe he's not going anywhere. So that's that's kind of the set up there. We'll go around the sports world. Coming up next to list to Cleveland Browns Daily, brought to you by bally Bet, sports betting partner of your Cleveland Browns, Coming soon to Ohio on eight fifty ESPN.
00:42:52
Speaker 1: Cleveland Cleveland Browns Daily, brought to you by bally Bett, Coming soon to Ohio on eight fifty ESPN Cleveland.
00:43:13
Speaker 2: For tim of jury lawyers dedicated every client, every day called one edit at elk Ohio Elk and Elk is a proud partner of your Cleveland Browns. So I saw this, did you? Did you hear? I know how you feel about Lebron. I feel like i've everyone in this audio. We talk about it enough that you know how I revere and I'm very appreciative of everything that was done here, not Gibbeck, but I would say that what I heard yesterday was one of the most absurd things of all time. At one point in the sound in the in this clip, and I don't know if we have it or not, but like the at one point where he's talking about this retirement stuff, he goes, the experts told you what I said. No, no, you did. They took your audio and you did.
00:43:56
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:43:57
Speaker 2: Right, And then at the end he goes, I would not cheat the game. But then he goes, so, lucky for all of you, I'm coming.
00:44:03
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:44:03
Speaker 3: Basically yeah, He's like, and when I can't play anymore, then I'll hang it up.
00:44:06
Speaker 2: But that time's not now. Lucky for you, it was a Kenny Powers moment. So I have the clip if you want to, Yeah, play it. Paulus.
00:44:16
Speaker 5: Truth is, I've been asking myself this question at the end of the season for a couple of years now. I just never openly talked about it. I don't care how many more points I score or what I can and cannot do on the floor. The real question for me is can I play without cheating his game? The day I can't give the game everything on the floor is the day I'll be done. Lucky for you, guys, that day is not today.
00:44:40
Speaker 2: Lucky for you guys. I mean, very few missteps for him. The decision was a misstep obviously, the way he handled that, and usually he crushes all of this stuff, but that was so lacking of self awareness.
00:44:53
Speaker 4: So good, so good.
00:44:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, it very much sounded like KP you can see powers, I'm blanking back.
00:45:03
Speaker 4: I mean, I'm assuming he's just holding out to play with this kid.
00:45:07
Speaker 2: Well, I mean he's still one of the best players in the game league. Yeah, he was. They were in the Western Conference finals.
00:45:13
Speaker 4: When he willed them to the Western I fully, yeah.
00:45:15
Speaker 2: I mean they were in the Western Conference final on a team that was put together in a month and a half and didn't really ever play together, like Kim and Anthony Davis didn't really play with all those guys, And then they got all those guys to resign at discount, like they thought Reeves was gonna get one hundred million to get like sixty D'Angel Russell's coming back for nothing, like they all came. They're all coming back to play for nothing. So yeah, and he's still a top ten player in the league. Like, yeah, there's a version of him because of his ability to pass the ball and his size that there's a version of him averaging eighteen points, nine assists and seven rebounds. Well, in three years from now.
00:45:51
Speaker 3: It's about time they finally decided they're going to actually surround him with some like shooters.
00:45:55
Speaker 2: Well they did it the deadline and then that's what flipped it. Yes, Oh, but that's what it should have been for a year of course. Yeah, but I think he was the one saying sign Carmelo, Anthony's Russ all that nonsense. Yeah, of course when they had that team in the bubble. That's what that team was with Kuzman, all those guys. They were all shooters who they could surround around him and Anthony. So we'll see Roy McElroy yesterday. Man, he hates live golf. If live golf was the last place to play on Earth, I would retire, That's how I feel about it. I'd play the majors, but I'm pretty comfortable.
00:46:30
Speaker 4: Yeah, he'd be just fine. He's So, what do you make of all those developments earlier in the week that are like there was this con that he had a conversation.
00:46:39
Speaker 2: No, he had a conversation with this with the Royal Trust that this was coming live, which is the team Golf. No cuts all that stuff. That's what he hates. He has somehow in his head at least separated the Saudi Royal Trust from I don't live golf. Yeah, he doesn't like the he doesn't like the no cut team golf stuff. That's what he doesn't like. He doesn't think that that's pure golf. The coolest thing that I saw from Rory McElroy all week was did you see him hit the Persimon driver? No? Okay, So for the people out there, and you can correct me because you you would know this. The Persimon drivers, the old wood driver, Yeah, that you used to hit that had a and so when people say hit it on the screws, there were screws literally screwed into the wood that held the metal plate in front or like a hard plastic plate, yes, in front of it. So when they say they hit it on the screws, that's where that comes from. The Persimon drive. That driver, for pros was one of the hardest clubs to hit. I mean that's how you had guys hitting one iron in those type of things back and they'd have like a driving iron because they couldn't hit the driver consistently. Now the driver's become the easiest club for the pros to hit. So that's what that's one of the biggest changes in the game. So Rory hits the Persimon driver off of the tee in the warm up in the practice round of the Scottish Open balls speed was one sixty eight. Yeah, drive was two sixty eight or two sixty five somewhere like that. Yep, his drive ball speed one ninety.
00:48:08
Speaker 4: Yep.
00:48:09
Speaker 2: Ball distance three eighty sixty three, three fifty eight or was it in a three fifty three thirty leads it? No, No, he did this ball like that had to head. He hit it three fifty eight with his He hit it. He had it two sixty something with the Persimmon driver, and it was awesome to see him pure it with it, because of course his talent can pure anything, which led to an age old conversation They've had a million times with people in Columbus who always would say that it's easier now now for Tiger to dominate than it was for Jack. My pushback for that was always, no, it is now easier. Talent equates far more then than it does now. That you would lap the field. Your talent would lap the field if you were someone who could consistently hit this, whereas now the driver's the easiest club in the bag for them to hit.
00:48:53
Speaker 3: What I would say is this, back then, the clubs rewarded the person who could strike the ball on the screws as it were consistently the most because off center hits on those old blade irons and these per simmons are tear gone. Yeah, so you've got to stripe it. So I think you're right. I think what it's done is allowed mishits to look a lot more like flushed hits, which didn't exist back then. So the best ball striker would be more dominant. So would Tiger have been more dominant? He wouldn't been able to overpower golf courses like he does now because of the lack of technology.
00:49:28
Speaker 2: Well maybe he would because the technology has even the playing field on that.
00:49:33
Speaker 3: It has, but the length of it matters, and his style matters. Like think about it, like Rory hit, Rory can crush it. It was like one hundred yards difference, right, So like you won't be able to just play bomb and gouge golf. It would reward the best shot maker. I think for a long time, you could say Tiger certainly was the best ball striker on the planet by wide march, So I still think he would have dominated. It just would have been different. It would have been a different style of golf.
00:49:55
Speaker 2: Yeah, I would love to see. I think it'd be cool for them to play one tournament in that way.
00:50:00
Speaker 3: They should do it, like take a tour Ballota ball, like a Ballota ball from like the eighties or nineties, like when I was even in high school. And then yeah, woods and old blade irons, they'd probably the irons they play blades now. The irons probably have the smallest difference, just that the sweet spots were smaller and the heads were smaller. The wood would be massive difference for them. I mean massive, it's one hundred yards for Macroy difference.
00:50:28
Speaker 4: It's insane.
00:50:29
Speaker 2: Yeah.
00:50:30
Speaker 3: His average drive on tour this year, his average this is average three hundred and twenty eight yards per drive. He leads a PGA tour in driving distance for the season. He's sixth then ball speed at one hundred and eighty five miles per drive on average. So that's not him trying to kill it these swings. They're both him trying to like murder those balls.
00:50:47
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:50:48
Speaker 3: Yeah, and he hit it two seventy with a wood driver.
00:50:50
Speaker 4: Yeah, like.
00:50:52
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, pretty cool. By the way, if they were going to move the PGA, move it to this week, yes, and then back the open up a week yes, put it now.
00:51:03
Speaker 4: Yeah. Nothing, there is nothing.
00:51:05
Speaker 2: No, it's brutal. Absolutely. Uh. There are some breaking news out of the NFL. Quinn Williams and the Jets agree to a four year deal ninety six million. Is it sixty six garan, Yeah, sixty six guaranteed on that number for the big defensive.
00:51:17
Speaker 3: By the way, being a defensive tackle, that's almost getting to the point of being you know, the study thing about the deal that he got that Jeffrey Simmons got, the kind of money that Aaron Donald makes. This is that is the position where now kind of if you want to get paid big money on the defensive line, obviously on the edges, and then when you're a dominant inside guy, you can make a ton of money. And we're starting to see those contracts. Quinn Williams four years ninety six million, Jeffrey Simmons four years ninety four, Deron Payne got four years ninety Dexter Lawrence four years ninety Hard Grave four years.
00:51:49
Speaker 2: Eighty four like that is that's Aaron Donald.
00:51:52
Speaker 3: That's all this offseason well.
00:51:53
Speaker 2: And also the fact that pressure up the middle is every bit is hard or more difficult to deal with the pressure on the edge.
00:51:59
Speaker 4: Yeah, it's you.
00:52:02
Speaker 2: It makes your ed rushers more effective. It's the shortest distance to the quarterback that there is, the quickest disruption can be caused there. When you have one of those guys, you can dominate.
00:52:13
Speaker 4: All right.
00:52:13
Speaker 2: Coming up next ESPN's top ten off ball linebackers. We'll see how doctor Z does with that list. It is a mailbig Thursday edition of the program. Get your questions into gibbe there. 00:53:31
Speaker 3: I am Big Mission impossibleity too.
00:53:32
Speaker 2: I think I think that's he's kind of crushed them all and it's part one and the fact that he's two parties.
00:53:38
Speaker 3: I was telling my kids when we were in the theater. That was the trailer that they ran before Indiana Jones.
00:53:42
Speaker 2: How'd you like it?
00:53:43
Speaker 4: I watched, I loved it.
00:53:44
Speaker 3: It was a great It's not a great movie. There's a lot. It's got some of the most unrealistic outcomes of scenes that like from any of in real life scenarios. Not the fact that they are able. Their time travel is one of the things that they is a theoretical thing in that. Okay, take that out of it. Some of the predicaments that he's able to get out of are absurd, like in some of the plot devices they use so that things work are completely absurd. But it's a rollicking good times.
00:54:13
Speaker 2: The hell of a good time eighty one year old Harrison.
00:54:15
Speaker 3: And he's good and they bring back all the all the people you want back or back.
00:54:19
Speaker 2: Okay, it bombed though right box office.
00:54:21
Speaker 4: It was not number one. I mean I still think it was number.
00:54:24
Speaker 3: Two, but solid but not what not what favorite hope?
00:54:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, but we talked about that though I don't think that there is. I mean the last one was in like ninety last Crusade, well, they did well. The one that really sucked was.
00:54:37
Speaker 3: Well that liked the other that bomb the Crystals almost killed the French and almost killed Skyla.
00:54:41
Speaker 2: Bucking maybe Crystal so maybe that did in fact kill the franchise.
00:54:45
Speaker 3: By the way, that one made seven hundred and ninety seven million dollars Crystal Skulls.
00:54:50
Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, but I'm guessing that half of that was the opening week or two weeks like that was so anticipated because no one had seen it since Last carsde Here we.
00:54:57
Speaker 4: Go the the thing Number one. It's way too long. Yeah, two and a half hours. Oh, like movies right now postil about ninety minutes to an hour, and no.
00:55:09
Speaker 2: One needs a three hour movie. A two and a half hour movie.
00:55:13
Speaker 4: Two and a half hour movie. It's not working, can't do it. It's fun, Like Zaguri said, there's some things that are unrealistic. It's fun. It's interesting because you've got to work around an eighty one year old man. Like, yeah, stunt wise, there's not as much maybe action, yeah, because well that's an eighty one year old man. Stuff.
00:55:36
Speaker 3: Well they do is the thing where they put like his face on. So so far it's made two hundred and fifty million domestically against the budget of two ninety fives.
00:55:43
Speaker 2: It's a major disappointments. So that would be bomb.
00:55:47
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:55:48
Speaker 2: I think Mission Impossible will crush it.
00:55:50
Speaker 4: Yep.
00:55:50
Speaker 2: I think they'll do quite well. And then Oppenheimer's like next week.
00:55:53
Speaker 4: I can't that's that.
00:55:55
Speaker 2: But that's like three hours.
00:55:56
Speaker 4: Yeah, man, that's a that's a that's fine. It's a long.
00:55:58
Speaker 2: It's long, and everything I'm hearing about that is there like that. It's the last of It is like a horror movie because they're going to show what happened, what that thing does.
00:56:06
Speaker 4: Yeah, I'm sure, so I.
00:56:07
Speaker 2: Think that's gonna be pretty grizzly.
00:56:09
Speaker 3: My but my kids when we were watching the trailer for it. I was like, see that motorcycle, Like he did that five times.
00:56:16
Speaker 2: A conversation I had with my kids coming out of Maverick last year where I was like, wasn't that amazing? They're like, yeah, it was good. It was good. I'm like, can you believe he did all that? Like what I don't understand? Like to them, they didn't understand that, like all the superhero stuff is all cgi. Yeah, I'm like, that stuff happened. Those are real jets, real pilots, real all of it. And then they had a different but they were to them it they just thought it was all fake.
00:56:38
Speaker 3: He jumps off that cliff. Have you seen Have you seen the YouTube short on that Yeah, on his where.
00:56:43
Speaker 4: He literally walks he walks it with the guy like he's like, yep, I gotta do it here, and and the director's like, you have to be in the middle of this piece of plywood. Yeah, Like you can't be a little to the right of the left, crazy, got to be right down the middle a quarter of a mile and you're gonna jump off.
00:57:03
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's nuts. But I told you guys when he was there was that video of him like two weeks ago where he was doing that crazy like parachute, Yes, yes, going a thousand miles an hour, like right over the ground, like the most dangerous sport you could ever do. He's a thrill seeker. I think he wants to go doing this stuff. Yes, he's eternally young. He looks the same forever. He's had a great run.
00:57:22
Speaker 4: Yeah.
00:57:23
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think most of those are good. Every one of those is entertaining to me. Yes, I don't know which one is anymore. But they're warn series. Yeah, they're all good. Those are great, good action movie, Yeah they are. They're good ones.

But Romo's the favorite. Marty Fish is the second favorite. Okay, here you go. Romos plus two to fifty. 01:04:27
Speaker 2: Yeah, Well he always said like he was like an eight or a nine at one point when he played all the time in Philly, So he was he was very solid that time. Is at that time we're not there.
01:04:37
Speaker 4: Though, no long gone. Unfortunately.
01:04:39
Speaker 2: Here's the other component about that. I've talked to AJ about this. The other thing is like, or if you've ever put you play a lot, so I suppose it would be different, but like when you're an amateur and all of a sudden you're playing in front of galleries and you're standing on a t box and there's people here and here, and you're going, I don't know, I've I know, I've seen me do it, hit it right at your face.
01:04:59
Speaker 4: Yeah.
01:05:00
Speaker 2: Are you sure you want to stand stand there? Yeah? So there's that part of it that happens too.
01:05:04
Speaker 4: I got to play one of the Disney courses when I was first starting out on the FM side, on the music side, and we went down for a media junket down there. You know, they fly down you do the media row and all that. We had like an off day and my radio host was big golfer and I was just getting into it. I was not good by any stretch. As a matter of fact, I'm pretty sure I played. They gave me a set of clubs to play with. I think I just went five iron, pitching, wedge and putter the entire time after like the first four holes because it was so tough. It was it was something. It was one of their premier courses. But literally there there's a gallery you could just come and hang out, and I'm like, I think you all need to be back here. Like I say, I think I can kill you right now. Have you see the clip of that.
01:05:53
Speaker 3: It was like a LPGA tour lady was doing a demonstration and there were people lining the fairway and she hit two just pull hooks and just back to back crushed people.
01:06:03
Speaker 2: I believe it.
01:06:05
Speaker 4: It golf hard, man, It's it becomes harder when there's all of a sudden there's someone standing right.
01:06:11
Speaker 3: Bro, you don't need people in the mix. All right, here's the here's the here are the odds. So here are the people that for the miz that I would consider it a win if he can, if he can somehow beat anybody here. These are the people that are a thousand to one or higher. He's twenty five hundred to one, which again is plus two hundred and fifty thousand. Dan Quayle and former Vice President of the United States.
01:06:31
Speaker 2: Old Dan, that's the first time I've heard anybody say Quayle's name in forty years.
01:06:35
Speaker 3: Well, you're welcome, Wow, Dan Quayle, Emmett Smith, dan quay years old.
01:06:42
Speaker 2: How many people in this, Well he was young, young Danny, remember those SNL skids, So he would have about his knee data car he would play the presidente. How many people out there would know Dan Quayle is, well he just heard. Well, you wouldn't have known if I went with a picture out there and said do you know this person?
01:07:03
Speaker 4: No?
01:07:04
Speaker 2: Zero, no chance.
01:07:05
Speaker 4: Yeah.
01:07:05
Speaker 2: Do you think they would know Al Gore? Yes, who followed him as v.
01:07:09
Speaker 3: Yes and ran for president.
01:07:12
Speaker 4: True?
01:07:13
Speaker 2: But yeah, so that's the Yeah, all right, go ahead. So this is the group.
01:07:17
Speaker 4: This is a thousand to one.
01:07:18
Speaker 3: So here's whe we're gonna track him. We're gonna track if he can beat any of these people. Give it to me, Dan quails one thousand and one. So is EMMITTT. Smith, Travis Kelcey McAfee, Jim McMahon, Mike Rabel, and JJ Watt.
01:07:32
Speaker 2: I don't think he's beaten McAfee.
01:07:33
Speaker 3: No, No, he's told me McFee is much better than he is.
01:07:38
Speaker 2: Yeah, I wouldn't think he'd beat Rabel.
01:07:41
Speaker 3: I don't think he's gonna be a butter. This is the group of maybe potential art. Here's the two thousand to one group, Marcus Allen, Kyle Lowry, Miles Teller.
01:07:51
Speaker 4: Ray Romano.
01:07:52
Speaker 3: I feel like Ray Romino should be much better than that at golf.
01:07:54
Speaker 2: If Vermano, for all he plays, is that bad that's a problem.
01:07:57
Speaker 3: That's sad to me.
01:07:58
Speaker 4: Yeah. JJ Watt by the way, a twenty one handicap, Okay.
01:08:04
Speaker 2: I mean Mike should be Mike should have got to be a vicinity.
01:08:07
Speaker 3: Yeah, h C. C. Sabbathia, Chucky Wood, Steve Young, Chase Crawford beating Steve, Reggie Bush terback. Those are the two thousands. This is what I would say.
01:08:20
Speaker 2: It is ridiculous for Steve Steve Young to be that bad. You know, I was going there, Yeah, I was going yeah, yeah, that's impossible. Yeah, quarterback, pro quarterback to be that bad at golf is impossible. Plus he's privileged. He's Brigham Young's offspring. Yes, for God's sakes, like right, he probably grew up at a golf course. Impossible for him to be that bad. I have a totally different view of Steve Young.
01:08:45
Speaker 3: Good, you have the appropriate view. Now, it's ridiculous. We'll take me the club, all right, twenty five hundred to one, so same odds as him. I want him to beat at least mcandle these guys, Visanity, Jade DeMarcus, not sure who that is, Larry the Cable guy.
01:08:59
Speaker 2: I mean, he's got to beat Larry the cable guy. There's no way.
01:09:01
Speaker 3: Jason Chef, Colin Jost here's one that blows my mind at what a bad golf this guy, because in my mind he.
01:09:10
Speaker 2: Is Colin just married to Scarlett Johansson.
01:09:13
Speaker 3: Biggest feather in his cap.
01:09:15
Speaker 2: It's a big feather coach, that's a that's black widow, incredible feather.
01:09:20
Speaker 3: Here is the one person I'm gonna throw out a name that if you said to me, just based on everything I know about him, what I think that he would have been on the first page of the favorites, you know with the Tim Browns.
01:09:31
Speaker 4: Yep.
01:09:32
Speaker 3: Alfonso Robero, by the way, one fifty to one, so he can play a little bit.
01:09:35
Speaker 4: Good for him.
01:09:37
Speaker 3: John O'Hurley is five thousand to one. They think he is twice as bad as bad as so he's like John O'Hurley. J.
01:09:46
Speaker 4: Peterman J.
01:09:47
Speaker 2: Peterman Catalog. How could he not voice of the Dog Show? How could he not be a scratch.
01:09:52
Speaker 3: Scratch, best dressed guy in the club, the panache, oozing charisma, that makes no sense, that doesn't and he supposedly the worst guy in the field is Barkley. In terms of odds, he's seventy five hundred to one. Yeah, so if you put one hundred dollars and he wins, which he won't, you would win seven hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
01:10:14
Speaker 2: Correct, don't don't do that.
01:10:17
Speaker 4: Don't do it. That no zero chance.
01:10:20
Speaker 2: I think that Steve Young, I'm gonna tell you this is my stephen A. Smith Hottest Take Award. I think that Steve Young that bad is almost as stupefying as John O'Hurley agreed. I think there's zero excuse for Steve Young.
01:10:32
Speaker 4: Here's that we're saying the miss has to beat John O'Hurley and Steve Young if he doesn't beat anybody else, like he has to beat those two.
01:10:39
Speaker 3: I would like him to beat Steve Young. Steve Young's favored ahead of him, but I'd like and I'd like him to beat Larry the cable guy.
01:10:48
Speaker 4: I'm gonna see if I can ge him to call him.
01:10:51
Speaker 2: Well, do we have do he? Is he on the course?
01:10:54
Speaker 4: No? What time of the tea off? It starts tomorrow? Oh it's yeah.
01:11:02
Speaker 3: By the way, Nana wants you to know she knows Dan Quayle.
01:11:04
Speaker 4: We know Nan, of.
01:11:05
Speaker 2: Course, Nana knows San.
01:11:06
Speaker 3: Yes, Nana all right here are the other quarterbacks, and so Romo's the favorite. Romo's the favorite. Adam Feelin, by the way, nice golfer. He's in like the top twelve on here. Aaron Rodgers is forty five to one, Jared Goff is one hundred to one, Derek Carr's won fifty to one.
01:11:22
Speaker 2: Mahomes is two hundred to one. According to the because he played at Pebble, this is at least more believable. Young's a thirteen than he shouldn't be it, so two thousand to one. That makes no sense.
01:11:35
Speaker 3: Well he's not going no, no, no, but that feels like pretty good.
01:11:37
Speaker 4: Up.
01:11:37
Speaker 2: That seems more like the odds you were saying would have him at like twenty, like at twenty one.
01:11:42
Speaker 4: Yeah, that's what he says.
01:11:44
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's he's thirteen fifth.
01:11:45
Speaker 3: That's at least I can fits Magic five hundred to one, Alex Smith two fifty to one, Baker Mayfield two fifty to one. I don't know that I ever saw him hit a golf ball in his time here.
01:11:54
Speaker 2: I think he's probably I think he's probably good at most things.
01:11:58
Speaker 3: Josh Allen three fifty to one.
01:12:00
Speaker 2: You know, I bet Bak can shoot it a little bit. I bet he's good at like pool and darts and beer pong, and I bet he's good at all bar games. I think he's good at all that stuff. I bet he is. I bet he hits a base but we know he's a base hit a baseball. Yeah, so I bet he's got a good I bet he's I bet he would be solid.
01:12:17
Speaker 3: Larry Fitzgerald to fifty to one. He's an avid golfer.
01:12:21
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's a six.
01:12:23
Speaker 3: He's a six six yeah, and that puts you at two fifty to one. So then what is like if I don't know if you have this at the ratty, Like, what's that Vinnie del Negro handicap, he's twelve to one.
01:12:34
Speaker 2: He always feels like he's won it before. I haven't. I don't have his list.
01:12:38
Speaker 3: Back in the day, Rick Rodan used to always win it. Yeah, the picture from the Yankees.
01:12:43
Speaker 2: Uh, the guy who was on Melrose Place won it a few times, ja Jack Wagner. Yeah, he was a good golfer.
01:12:49
Speaker 4: Good golfer.
01:12:49
Speaker 2: Alex Smith is a seven from a quarterback.
01:12:51
Speaker 4: Uh so why we love golf?
01:12:54
Speaker 2: Dot col Roberto is a one. They never would have.
01:13:00
Speaker 4: That Vinny Del Negro's golf handicap is around.
01:13:03
Speaker 3: A two, so how's he twelve to one? Alfonso ver Bear is one fifty to one. Alfonse, he must not be a one.
01:13:08
Speaker 2: That's I mean, according to golf dot Com. This is from Pebble Beach. He was a one.
01:13:12
Speaker 3: From at Pebble Beach.
01:13:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, from living at Pebble Beach.
01:13:16
Speaker 4: Old On.
01:13:16
Speaker 3: Let me look, let me look this up. I'm gonna look up his his his index here.
01:13:20
Speaker 4: Alfonso Ribeiro's golf handicap is around two to four.
01:13:25
Speaker 2: So he on golf dot com heading into the Pebble Beach pro Am he was a one. That's what they listed him at. So either way, that's pretty good. I wouldn't have had Carlton being that good. Let's say Brett Bear from Fox He's he's a one point seven. Yeah, that Lakeside Lakeside Golf Club, that's getting it done. Man or Porter Valley Golf Club. Yeah, one point.
01:13:53
Speaker 3: Seven and after it, that's pretty I feel like that's some real that's there's value there. One fifty to one and Alfonso.
01:14:00
Speaker 2: Yeah, he's got it.
01:14:01
Speaker 4: That feels pretty good to me.
01:14:03
Speaker 2: Let's all right, we got look we gotta do these tackles. All right, we got a mail bank coming out.
01:14:07
Speaker 4: We know that for hear do you want to do the tackles?
01:14:08
Speaker 2: Do the tackles? Do the tackle room?
01:14:10
Speaker 3: Will's and Tocckland and the starters and Dewan Jones and Hudson are the backups barring an injury next the end.
01:14:15
Speaker 2: That's the room. I mean, it's it's as lock solid as everything. Biggest question heading into twenty twenty three? Can Jedrick Wills be what he was drafted to be?
01:14:23
Speaker 3: And how does what kind of development do we get out of out of you know, Dewan Jones from a backup standpoint, how does he come along? And yeah, do they stay healthy? But yeah, jed Wills is the question. Can he become the guy that he was drafted to be?
01:14:35
Speaker 4: Tenth?

01:17:33
Speaker 2: I'll be at Tommy. He's in Brooklyn a screen, of course, it's a green screen. He has no money. He hasn't acted in twenty years.
01:17:41
Speaker 4: Come on, I feel like he might have some money.
01:17:43
Speaker 2: No, I okay, I don't think. All right, dude, he's signing autographs at like bars in Brooklyn.
01:17:49
Speaker 4: For family restaurant, brother's restaurant or something. Yeah, No, I think he does. I think he's not.
01:17:57
Speaker 3: Think he is rolling.
01:17:59
Speaker 4: No, no, no, I don't. I he's got enough money where he's.
01:18:03
Speaker 2: Like, no, no, no, no, he's hustling. He's slinging it.
01:18:07
Speaker 3: By the way, I want us to move to Hawk's Ridge.
01:18:09
Speaker 2: I've decided that looks all right, doesn't it looks all right?
01:18:12
Speaker 4: Doing well?
01:18:13
Speaker 2: Uh?
01:18:14
Speaker 4: Jersey Dog tweets at the show. When is Jason Gibbs Appreciation Day? Every day? Celebrate the man, the myth, the legend who keeps Browns daily running as smooth as a doctor E golf swing.
01:18:25
Speaker 3: We're on the stream?
01:18:26
Speaker 2: Are we on the stream?
01:18:27
Speaker 1: No?
01:18:31
Speaker 2: Uh?
01:18:33
Speaker 4: BB number one stallone or Schwarzenegger. M hm, that's tough. I'm going. I gotta go.
01:18:40
Speaker 3: I gotta go, I gotta go, Arnold, I gotta do it.
01:18:43
Speaker 4: Arnold.
01:18:44
Speaker 3: Arnold Arnold is my guy.
01:18:46
Speaker 2: If you get the full catalog, you're god. So here's the thing. My two favorite like just guilty, Pleasure, turn him on, have fun are Arnold movies Command and Predator, Like those are my that's pure joy as much as it can be. But like Rocky, all the Rockies, all the Rambos, Cobra is insanity, It's fantastic. I didn't even mention Terminator too. Yeah, but I don't find it rewatchable. I like, but because he's the he's the thing, like he's not. I like when he is in on the joke, like in Commando and Predator. I think he's in on the joke. The original Terminator the I'll be back line. He made that up himself, I know. But like it's great, Yeah, but I don't. I don't rewatch the Terminators.
01:19:35
Speaker 3: Hold on, you're also. I think here's where I give him the edgeles.
01:19:40
Speaker 2: Tango and Cash, well that's stallone.
01:19:42
Speaker 4: Cliffhanger is both of them.
01:19:44
Speaker 2: When's last time you watched? Tango Andanger is a great movie. Tangle Cash is insanely very good. Yeah, what's the one? Hold on, what's the one I'm thinking of? Total recall the running Man.
01:19:56
Speaker 3: Those two run all time film. Dude, running Man is so good.
01:20:02
Speaker 2: I'm more prey than those two.
01:20:04
Speaker 4: Running Man is so way No I am.
01:20:06
Speaker 3: I'm just saying you are sorry.
01:20:09
Speaker 2: The other he also did that he did a very good one with Jamie Lee Curtis true true, yeah, true lies. And then he also has though what he like Kindergarten Cop Twins like he has what's.
01:20:22
Speaker 3: What is there in the stalone catalog that can.
01:20:24
Speaker 2: Compete Tango and Cash is hilarious?
01:20:26
Speaker 3: Is it as good as like Kindergarten Cop Twins? Is Twins is hysterical?
01:20:31
Speaker 2: I'm with you. I think I'm I like Schwarzenegger more like I said off the time, he was.
01:20:35
Speaker 3: The best bodybuilder in the world.
01:20:37
Speaker 2: I know you're into him big now. Oh wait, and we didn't even we didn't even mention the best of his entire catalog, Conan. He's Conan too, which is that's absurd, That's a comedy that.
01:20:49
Speaker 3: Moves the James Earl Jones pretty formidable. Then you get Conan the Destroyer, you get Wilt Chamberlain and Andre the Johns.
01:20:56
Speaker 2: I'm more of an Arnold guy too, But I Olivia Diabo wasn't that her name? Yeah, she might have been too young to be with the crow that was going on with that.
01:21:06
Speaker 4: Yeah, I think that mwilt all right. So at bucket a great first question number question number two. Kickball or whiffle ball? Whiffle Uh?
01:21:17
Speaker 2: I go kick Okay, more accessible, like easier to get it going whiffle ball. I find with whiffleball, like sometimes it takes.
01:21:24
Speaker 4: For ever to for somebody you have people to play.
01:21:26
Speaker 2: Takes a lot of people, like you'd have four on four kickball works number three.
01:21:30
Speaker 4: You know, I used to like.
01:21:31
Speaker 3: We'd go to the park and we would have one of the parks we had had a big wall and it had a strike zone on the wall, and we would we would play like we played like straight.
01:21:40
Speaker 2: Up yes, And people have like the sat like the one whiffle ball a buddy Mine's place down in Florida all the time, grew up playing it in Boston. And he has like the sack you throw into so that's the stand up target. If it lands in there, it's a strike. He has like a bucket of balls. Then then you got a chanty moving but wiffleball with one ball takes And I.
01:21:58
Speaker 3: Also prefer the whiffle balls that are like dimpled everywhere.
01:22:01
Speaker 2: First, the ones that throw the spinners that have just the vertical ones that are on the top half.
01:22:07
Speaker 4: Question number three for him, who's on this is great? Yeah, Buckey, he'd keep bringing him. Uh, John Wick or Jason Bourne.
01:22:14
Speaker 2: I haven't seen Wick yet.
01:22:16
Speaker 4: There's a question for the girl.
01:22:17
Speaker 2: Burn's great.
01:22:18
Speaker 4: Bourne is great.
01:22:19
Speaker 3: But I gotta say Wick, I gotta go Wicks. Wick is if you said to me, I'm a bad guy and I have wronged Jason Bourne or John Wick. I'm obviously terrified of both. But like John Wick, I know is gonna get me without question.
01:22:39
Speaker 2: I don't have a point of reference. I can't even argue it. But Bourne feels as capable as anybody ever.
01:22:43
Speaker 3: But I don't know, all right, I feel like John Wick's kind of like Liam Neeson in Taken, combined with like a cool Hollywood actor combined with Jason Bourd.
01:22:56
Speaker 2: How about the fact that the grad hair that I stallaned Assassin Too with Sharon Stone Apex.
01:23:04
Speaker 3: That movie obviously didn't do well.
01:23:07
Speaker 2: It's like I want to say, now, I don't know, but there's it's never even heard of it. It's her in her prime.
01:23:13
Speaker 3: Yeah, prime space against it.
01:23:15
Speaker 2: That's correct, But I'm just saying, like Desert Eye, only one by the way, So apparently he decided to. In twenty fourteen, Saloone decided to do deleted scenes for First Blood dreaming Saigon first Blood, alternate ending First Blood, humorous ending.
01:23:34
Speaker 4: To First Blood.
01:23:36
Speaker 2: That's why I brought it up.
01:23:37
Speaker 4: All right, Uh, if z makes al pastor at home, I want to know how he does the grilled pineapple. I've got the pork down, but I think I could do the pineapple butter. It's from Greister. The way you'd have to do it.
01:23:50
Speaker 3: You got to do rings, thick rings on the grill, get the good girl marks, and then you just chop it up. That's the only thing that you do. I when I make my past when I need the pineapple and it's gonnas, I don't grill it. It's really supposed to be roasted pineapple, because it's roasting on top of the spit with the pork and the juices of the pineapple a supposed to be dripping down into the pork or vice versa again at the top of the bottom. I've seen both of those, so it's not really a grilled pineapple. It's more of a roasted pineapple. And then you chop that up.
01:24:18
Speaker 2: I'm gonna be honest with you. It's just as good if you just keep it.
01:24:20
Speaker 3: Fresh, yeah, or fresh and just chop that with some fresh hobarrow.
01:24:24
Speaker 2: Or a little red onion, and then you're good.
01:24:26
Speaker 4: Good Bobby time, Bobby, Bobby. Do you prefer conversations in person or over text?
01:24:36
Speaker 2: And do I like the person or not?
01:24:38
Speaker 4: I don't have an answer.
01:24:39
Speaker 3: That's a great question because it's different answers. Do I like them person not like them?
01:24:43
Speaker 2: If I just want it to be done, then I do text.
01:24:46
Speaker 4: Would you rather drive or be the passenger in a car?
01:24:48
Speaker 3: I think I'll tell you what he'd rather be a passion No, No, I prefer to drive. I love driving. I feel like Larry David. I don't have an identity in the passenger seat. However, in my are when we got miss K is a fine driver. Miss K drives in many ways much like I would, so I don't know already in times, but I'm like, you know, what are you doing here?
01:25:08
Speaker 4: I'm just there.
01:25:10
Speaker 3: And then when you're not driving, you remember when you come home from a JoJo's, for example, you have no liability, you're just passaging.
01:25:16
Speaker 2: All of that is true. I would add one caveat to like, you know, we did a lot of the uber situation when through the last couple week, especially down in Charleston, and like the Uber Black Excel situation. That's a good life. It's a great life. It's a great life. Like you see why luminaries are in basks of escalades. Oh yeah, people comfortable.
01:25:38
Speaker 4: Nothing wrong with that.
01:25:39
Speaker 3: By the way, she also likes to drive on road trips, and like, I don't need to drive for six straight hours, and she loves to do it. I think I had a big.
01:25:44
Speaker 4: Win for me.
01:25:45
Speaker 2: There's no one in my family I trust as much as me to drive. That's where we're That was never for me. It had never been that way before. Miss Kah, great driver.
01:25:52
Speaker 4: Uh do you have a favorite holiday?
01:25:54
Speaker 3: Christmas?
01:25:55
Speaker 4: Yeah? Christmas meal? Favorite meal breakfast, lunch or dinner, prime rip dinner, even eat breakfast. I don't really the other two. I don't even know that. I mean the other two I could do without. I don't eat until every day. What song always gets you on the dance floor?
01:26:10
Speaker 2: Don't dance?
01:26:11
Speaker 4: Retire?
01:26:11
Speaker 1: Oh?
01:26:12
Speaker 3: God, the list is so long. Yeah, I'll get on the dance floor.
01:26:16
Speaker 4: I'm not afraid. What do you do on your what do you do on your commute to and from work?
01:26:23
Speaker 3: Talk to my friends on the phone?
01:26:25
Speaker 2: Yeah, I usually I usually people always ask me. They're like podcasts, yeah that Usually people will be like, well, did you hear this on this sports talk? And I'm like no, and they're like, why don't you listen to sports talk? I'm like, because I do it, and I honestly, I've always told this to other kids who like intern or whatever, like be careful. It's almost I'm worried that I will subconsciously steal something or hear something, or will frame my view of it. So I choose not. I don't listen to sports talk in general. Yeah, you know, unless I'm like, this happened yesterday, what's going on? How does the city respond to it?
01:26:59
Speaker 4: Then?
01:26:59
Speaker 2: But just in general, I don't because I don't want any ideas to creep in on.
01:27:03
Speaker 3: I listened to very particular podcasts, and then I listen to music while I'm on the pull with my friends when I'm driving.
01:27:08
Speaker 4: Is there one job you would never do? There's a million.
01:27:12
Speaker 2: There's a billion jobs I wouldn't do. I tell you what. I'm not gonna run the aviary part at the stupid zoo where the birds are around. I'm not doing that.
01:27:20
Speaker 4: No, I wouldn't mendine that you would. Uh. Nor are you doing stuff for your father on his ranch?
01:27:26
Speaker 5: Now?
01:27:27
Speaker 2: I've done plenty of things for him. I mean, I'm fixing fence. I've hed I know the rope is. I mean, I've brandy cows. I've driven trucks. I told my kids we went into the shop where we have like the trucks and the combines and the tractors and all this stuff. And we went in there and the little especially like Bootsy, and I'm like, yeah, I draw I can drive all of that. And they're like, huh yeah, let's go hop in the Kenworth. Let's go for a drive. Who gets hurt. It was hard for them to conceptualize.
01:28:00
Speaker 3: Time that you operated something like that last week there.
01:28:03
Speaker 4: It is.
01:28:06
Speaker 3: Just to show them, or.
01:28:07
Speaker 2: Yeah, for fun, like let's fire it up. I'm gonna tell you what, when you're running a Kenworth, there's some power that comes with that. Brother, I bet yeah.
01:28:16
Speaker 4: You have us a gleam in your eye Joe Ross says, Nathan, if I'm a nine handicap and you take your best club out of the bag, do I have a chance to take you down?
01:28:25
Speaker 2: No?
01:28:28
Speaker 4: No?
01:28:30
Speaker 2: What did he say was his handy cab nine?
01:28:32
Speaker 4: Yeah? No? No?
01:28:35
Speaker 2: Did you could he beat you if you couldn't hit any woods? All irons? All iron, two iron, a driving iron in my bag?
01:28:43
Speaker 4: No?
01:28:43
Speaker 2: No, you said what? He pulls all the woods? So if you have a four iron or what what do you have? Like a four iron? Is that your four iron? Okay, so you'd have to hit four iron. I still think you fifty Like I think the only way he could do it is it was like seven iron for you.
01:29:00
Speaker 3: Was what I had to tea off with. Yeah, because then I can't reach.
01:29:03
Speaker 2: It, and then you can't reach stuff.
01:29:05
Speaker 3: Yeah, with the five iron, I feel pretty good. Yeah, nines are dangerous. Those guys are nine. That's a dangerous handicap because there they can par any holes of giving them strokes.
01:29:12
Speaker 4: They'd be very dangerous.
01:29:13
Speaker 3: If you're talking about being straight up, not a chance we talking about being with his strokes.
01:29:17
Speaker 4: Of course, that's why.
01:29:18
Speaker 3: They have strokes and TCA systems flawed.
01:29:21
Speaker 2: All right, Very good, good, stuff out of everybody. There's so much more to found, so much. We'll see. We got to remember on mail bag to leave more time. I always tried to encourage you do. Yeah, it was just a bad job out of us. This is what we were, small bees. We huge how quick did that?
00:30:06
Speaker 2: It is a mailbag Thursday edition of the program. Tweet those questions to Gibbe at Brown's Underscore Daily. We will handle those. We'll do some poditional breakdowns.

Speaker 2: Oh, there he is, Yeah he retired, he did retire.
00:58:51
Speaker 4: No, he's number nine. Okay, yeah, good job? Give me all right?
00:58:55

00:59:06

00:59:41
Speaker 2: He's honorable mention.
00:59:42
Speaker 4: Okay, so you.
00:59:44
Speaker 2: Missed a former Brown, former Brown had oh you had?
00:59:53
Speaker 3: I had bro Kwon Warner green Law, Devon White, Milano, Tremaine Edmunds to Mario Davis, C. J.
00:59:58
Speaker 4: Mosley, and Nick. You missed number seven Shaquille Leonard of the Indianapolis Colts.
01:00:08
Speaker 3: Oh there was Barrius Leonard. Yeah, it used to be Shaquill Leonard. Now it's why did he.
01:00:14
Speaker 2: Change his name?
01:00:15
Speaker 4: Haven?
01:00:15
Speaker 2: We remember that the answer to.
01:00:17
Speaker 4: That, that makes sense? All right? Yeah, that was missed.
01:00:20
Speaker 3: So eight again, that's pretty forget about it.
01:00:22
Speaker 4: This was the toughest one of the win.
01:00:24
Speaker 2: And then Dre Greenlaw. I had green Law, You had him right, So who did he miss? He just missed so Ard and Nick Bolton from my original ten.
01:00:34
Speaker 4: Yeah, yep, uh, let's see. Logan Wilson was honorable mention. Patrick Queen Honorable Mentioned receiving votes. Jeremiah Owusu Cora okayiving votes, Jordan Brooks and the Seahawks, Devandre Campbell from the Packers, Jerome Baker from the Dolphins, Cleveland Zone Check Thompson from the Carolina Panthers.
01:00:56
Speaker 3: So, just so I'm clear my depth my knowledge went about thirteen names and then those likely just to so we just just did the entire defense.
01:01:07
Speaker 2: Yep, Denzel was nine at corner, Miles was what to two at the end and general mention or receiving jo votes and j Okay in Zidarius were Dalvin get a.
01:01:23
Speaker 3: Yes honorable receiving votes one of those he was in the top twenty.
01:01:27
Speaker 4: Yeah.
01:01:30
Speaker 2: I'll be curious what that looks like next year, hopefully better. Yeah, yeah, and I think it probably will. Need we can get a safety in there too, if you want, if you're going to be what you dream of being, I think you probably need it to be just a little bit agreed better on that side of things, all right, Coming up next, we'll take a look on the offensive side of the ball. We'll finish the position previews heading into camp on the tackle position that is coming up Nextless to Cleveland Browns Daily brought to you by Belly Bette sports betting partner. If your Cleveland Browns coming soon to I want to th desp and Cleveland.
01:02:14
Speaker 1: Cleveland Browns Daily brought to you by Bally Bett coming soon to Ohio on eight fifty ESPN Cleveland.
01:02:36
Speaker 2: So there, So the the some of the PGA guys are in Tahoe. Is that right? This is the Tahoe event? Is this weekend the celebrity one? This is out there at the hundred and fifty thousand to one?
01:02:49
Speaker 4: Has he given any indication like, are there odds that that he can be in the top half?
01:02:57
Speaker 2: He won't be.
01:02:58
Speaker 4: He won't be, He won't be here.
01:02:59
Speaker 3: Here here are the odds for you, American Century Championship odds.
01:03:05
Speaker 4: Here you go.
01:03:07
Speaker 3: The favorite is Tony Romo plus two fifty guy.
01:03:12
Speaker 2: What's it? He's a plus handicap though he is he just needs Yeah, Chris is dad.
01:03:26
Speaker 4: Family got to stay with family. So he's the favorite.
01:03:31
Speaker 3: I had a great article where it gave like all the different fun and tears and all of that. This is not that article. I wish I wish I had saved it from the other time. But Romo's the favorite. Marty Fish is the second favorite. Okay, here you go. Romos plus two to fifty. Marty Fish is also plus two fifty, Mark Mulder plus six hundred, Kyle Williams plus one thousand, Smoltz, Steph Curry, and Onica Storrenstam all plus twelve hundred. Amazing that she doesn't win this, But I don't know.
01:04:01
Speaker 2: They're better, They're they're of her caliber.
01:04:03
Speaker 3: She must play, she must be playing from the same tease.
01:04:07
Speaker 2: I still think that she would be lethal. Yeah, with all iron play.
01:04:12
Speaker 3: Yeah, Charles Barkley is plus a million, so he's got worse. There are like six people with the worst eyes.
01:04:20
Speaker 2: Didn't Chuck get his golf game sorted out? Though he doesn't have that he's now back to be that hit.
01:04:26
Speaker 4: Yeah.
01:14:35

Speaker 3: I sent it that one and we thought he was like, I didn't know if he's like, he's off the grand So I send him whenever Frank is as I sent it to him, and this one was this one is traveling on an undisclosed what is the traveling on an undisclosed plane? Jeez, traveling on an undisclosed place.
01:17:20
Speaker 2: Traveling on an important mission? Frank severro as Enzo. Oh and he just there's just stares at the camera.
01:17:29
Speaker 4: Why doesn't he say weird? Isn't it? Isn't that a green.
But we did too much on the handicaps and we didn't get into it quite. That was fun though it was, but we had a We had a There's so much more. We'll be back, We'll be listen.
