He points out that barely 40% of Americans say they pray daily and that this number has been declining for several years. Prayer in its simplest form is a heartfelt relational conversation with God. Dr. Hall uses Scripture to define how prayer should be undertaken and some things this should not be done in prayer. The Bible promises that God hears, God cares, and God answers according to His wisdom and timing. God wants us to talk to Him because He loves us and He has promised to hear us when we pray.
