Avalanche beat Blackhawks, sweep season series

WGN Radio’s Charlie Roumeliotis breaks down the Blackhawks’ 4-1 loss to the Colorado Avalanche, who swept the season series. Steve Konroyd joins the discussion to talk about the powerhouse Avalanche, who showed exactly why they are the favorites to win the Stanley Cup.

They also weigh in on Arvid Soderblom’s 45-save performance, the Blackhawks overpassing the puck too much, and more. Later, we hear from Wyatt Kaiser, Ryan Greene, and head coach Jeff Blashill.

Charlie wraps up the show by providing a Blackhawks prospect update on Roman Kantserov and previewing Chicago’s next matchup against the Nashville Predators on Sunday afternoon at the United Center.
