Adam Schefter Drops HUGE Bears Week 1 Intel | Could The Bears STILL Add Cam Jordan? Dennis Allen Responds

🚨 The Chicago Bears are still making moves after rookie minicamp — and one of them could bring real veteran speed into the building.

On today’s episode of Chicago Bears Central, Haize reacts to the Bears signing WR Scotty Miller, WR Kyron Hudson, LB Wayne Matthews III, and LB Jon Rhattigan after rookie minicamp tryouts. Miller reportedly stood out with a big deep-ball grab during minicamp, while Rhattigan brings veteran special teams experience after appearing in 65 regular-season games across multiple NFL stops. 🐻🔥

Haize also breaks down what these signings mean for the Bears’ roster battles heading into training camp — especially after Squirrel White was placed on the reserve/retired list.

Then, the conversation turns to the pass rush. Dennis Allen addressed the idea of a possible reunion with veteran edge rusher Cam Jordan, and while the Bears don’t sound desperate to add another pass rusher right now, Allen did leave the door cracked open. 👀

With Montez Sweat, Dayo Odeyingbo, and Austin Booker already in place, are the Bears confident in their current group — or should fans still be worried about the lack of another proven edge rusher?

Plus, Haize dives into the tight end room after Sam Roush flashed during rookie minicamp. Press Taylor says Roush’s role is still “to be determined,” which could be great news for Cole Kmet as the Bears continue building around 12 personnel and multiple tight end looks.

And finally… Adam Schefter dropped a major Bears schedule nugget. Could Chicago open the 2026 season on the road against the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks on Wednesday night? If that happens, Caleb Williams and the Bears could start the year on one of the biggest stages in football. 🍿
