But in this episode of *Changed*, Tisha introduces us to the woman underneath the characters. Tisha opens up about the exhaustion of always being seen as the “strong Black woman,” masking so completely that she forgot who she was and the moment she realized that her life had to change. She also shares how her sons taught her to establish boundaries, why making her son Xen feel validated means so much to her and how one brutally honest conversation at a 500-person party revealed who was truly in her corner. It’s a candid conversation about motherhood, people-pleasing, family, vulnerability and learning to see devastation as the beginning of something greater. Subscribe for more honest conversations about the experiences that shape us, challenge us and ultimately change us.
