Vinny the Dancing Umpire

Today’s guest isn’t your average umpire—he’s The Dancing Umpire! Vincent “Vinny” Chapman has been calling games for over 25 years, everything from youth leagues to high school baseball across Texas.

In 2008, he started dancing between innings just for fun, but a viral video in 2015 skyrocketed him to fame, even catching EllenTube’s attention. Now, as the home plate umpire for the Savannah Bananas, Vinny keeps the crowd entertained with his energy, charisma, and signature dance moves.

With 245K TikTok followers, 7061 TPM (Twerks Per Minute), and only 5 missed calls, he’s bringing baseball—and entertainment—to a whole new level.
