Burning Bear: to the Burning Bear podcast. I am your host Anthony and man, it is good to be back with you guys. So today we are gonna go down the road a little bit more and we're gonna start another Foundations episode. Now if you haven't previously watched the other Foundations episode with the methodology of a growth mindset, I would encourage you guys to go check that out. I think there's gonna be some good information in there that'll make this video a little bit easier to digest. But for those that have already watched that video that are looking forward to the next section in that series, today we're going to cover what hopefully is a lot of you guys's favorite topic. I know it's one of mine, but we're going to talk about what is the matrix. And this term gets thrown around a lot. There are many different things that we could apply to this, but you know, whether you want to call it a hologram or you know multiverse matrix whatever the case may be we're going to get in today about how I define the matrix for me in my life What that means, why do I consider somebody, myself to be somebody who has woke up to the matrix? What does it mean to wake up, at least in the context of the matrix? And then we're gonna talk about why these things are important and maybe some realities of like what you can expect and what you cannot expect if this has been your goal. And I hear people talk about that all the time. It's like, you know, I wanna break out of the matrix. I wanna break up with the matrix, okay. But what is the Do you know the answer to that question? I that would be our socratic question for today What is the matrix to you? And so as you take some time and you're formulating that answer I want you to keep that in the back of your brain throughout the today ⁓ ⁓ my definition is different than yours. Maybe it looks a little bit different But I'm gonna do my best to explain it and how we're gonna do that today is we're gonna start with a story And this time not necessarily a story about myself and it'd be a story about anyone but we're gonna talk about this so there is a day that occurs called birthday and when birthday occurs a conscious being ⁓ is born into existence and They come into this place called planet earth that exists within the material realm that we are all hopefully possibly existing within together and That conscious being is born as a human animal and ⁓ are born with an awareness ⁓ ⁓ ⁓ to anything else. And like all animals, we have a certain etiquette, we have certain behaviors, we have certain things that get instilled into us, whether it be instinctually or taught to us by others, ⁓ get developed throughout time. ⁓ so we have this ⁓ we have a baby that is born into planet Earth. ⁓ ⁓ after birth, that ⁓ being that entity that that animal is given a name and the name is chosen for it by their parents that child is then given a social security number And then the parents start the long process that takes probably 20 to 25 years to complete where that child is then taught everything that it needs to assimilate into society. It is taught how to walk. It's taught how to talk, how to read, how to write. It's educated by the public education system, right? Formal social education. This is important. It is taught social norms. It's taught social morality. It is taught everything that it needs to be taught until it is deemed educated enough to enter what we call the real world. And then you go off into the real world and then life educates you some more. And then you adopt new thoughts, new patterns, new beliefs, more social conscription and That social conscription is coming from everywhere. It's coming from education. It's coming from your parents, your family, the, the, the micro culture that you live in, the macro culture that you live in society and civilization at large, global geopolitical, everything, environment, everything, every piece of knowledge that you are carrying with you up until this moment in life for many of you is the matrix. It's programming. It's programming designed to help you assimilate into a civilization, into a society, into a culture that is pre-existing. It is not founded by you. It is not designed by you. It is not created or conceptualized by you. It is something that you are thrust within. You are programmed. to be a part of and then it sets upon itself through a variety of different ways but social narratives, social norms, normalities that we have adopted culturally, morally this is where religion comes into play this is where politics come into play this is where education spheres come into play every little nuance of every belief that you have that is socially conscripted is the matrix. The matrix is programming. Now, Does that mean that it's not some AI in the sky and we're living in a holographic universe and that this is all digital creation? My answer to that is it doesn't matter. It really, truly doesn't matter. And I'm gonna shoot some existential video in the future for those that are interested in this topic where we're gonna explore some of these, what I believe to be quantum, constructural nuances to our our material reality that we exist within I'm not going to address that version of the matrix in this video what I'm going to address is the social programming and I hear people all the time to say I want to break out of the matrix okay okay but do you really understand what that means and is it possible to break out of the matrix and I had talked about this concept a little bit in the foundations video that we did the methodology of a growth mindset. In that video we talked about the decisions that you make have consequences associated with them and not all of those consequences are you willing to accept. So the answer is can you break out of the matrix? I think you could if you truly wanted to. Can you wake up to the matrix and not Escape the matrix the answer is yes in most likely yes to the way that I believe it in the way that I see it at least the way that I have experienced in my own life ⁓ in a of ways I Consider myself to be someone who has woken to the matrix now Does that mean that I have woken up to every? facet of the matrix and the answer is ⁓ no probably not Just like we we talked about with biases, right? There are certain socially conscribed biases. There are unknown biases. There are conformity bias. There are things that exist out there that I just may not be aware of yet. That there are so many layers to this. You really have no idea until you sit down and start going through all of the different layers of all of these social Programming that you have been subjected to for this civilization That you have to say well, I'm gonna break out of this I have to explore each one of these things and I have to develop my own independent thought and I have to explore what I believe about this or what I believe is right or wrong and develop my own moral compass so on and so forth that the odds are you're probably fully awake and I'm sure that I'm not either but I think that I am mostly awake. I'm awake enough that I'm able to achieve a state in my life that allows me to be able to enact a philosophy of living and a methodology of behavior that I believe gives me a certain level of metacognition and a certain level of sovereignty of self while existing within the matrix because that's the reality. I am still, even though I have woken up to the matrix, I am still very much living in the matrix. We're participating in the matrix together right here, right now. You're watching this on the social media platform. You're watching this on a very socially constructed business environment. We're having conversation and language that's within the matrix. I was taught English and I'm speaking in some variation of English. because you know it's American, it's not actually proper English. Shout out to all my British friends out there. But. It is what it, that's the reality, right? It is what it is. You're in the matrix. And even if you wake up to it, the odds are you're probably not gonna be able to escape it fully. Now does that mean that you can't? No, of course you can I could unsubscribe from my social security number. I could take my name off the registry. I could adopt a fake name or a fake alias. I could quit paying taxes. I could go live off grid. I could become fully self-sustainable. I could do- ⁓ all of these things but just like all behaviors they have consequences my actions have consequences there are consequences associated with some of those decisions that I don't necessarily feel comfortable or willing to take on so therefore I'm still very much in the matrix just like you so I don't don't want to sell anybody on this idea that if you wake up to the Matrix that somehow you're going to just get the magic red pill and we're going to run down this road and you're going to wake up on the other side and the aliens are going to unplug you and just like the movie I don't know how many of you out there I know I did when I watched that rather stay asleep in this damn thing holy shit that looks terrible it was not a situation I would have wanted to wake up to like the reality outside of the matrix is bad if not worse than the reality inside the matrix and there is some truth to that there is some truth to that and I think it's it's my responsibility, my due diligence, as somebody that I do believe has woke up to the matrix to a certain degree, to give you a little bit of a warning here. If this is your pursuit, if your pursuit is to wake up, if your pursuit is to break out of the matrix, This is tough and it's not all the grass is not incredibly greener on the other side. There are very specific reasons to make this decision. And if these reasons are right for you, well, then you should absolutely consider pursuing this on your own. But just like the movie, The Matrix, when the one guy decided to go back in, wanted he betrays Neo because he wants to go back into the matrix. That's also a very understandable thing because it is a little bit lonely on the other side You're gonna start thinking in a different way. You're gonna start behaving in a different way You're gonna develop your own moral compass. You're gonna develop your own social standards You are going to critically think your way through social situations and you are gonna unsubscribe from this Conformity that is society you are going to become an outlier People are going to call you crazy. People are going to think you're weird. People are not going to understand the philosophy of your thought. They're going to tell you you're wrong because it goes against the religion, because it goes against the beliefs of their culture, their family. This is an isolating behavior. And the more that you wake up and move away from social conformity and social programming and conscription, The more you will be alone until you find others who share your newfound philosophy in life, which may be difficult. And so that's just a little bit of a word of warning that I wanted to put out there for anybody heading down this path. This is the personal growth, spiritual awakening, all of these things. This isn't all sunshine and roses. really isn't. are downsides to this, okay? You're gonna find yourself with bad days, you're gonna still get depressed, you're still gonna get sad, like life is still gonna freakin' happen to you because you haven't left this thing that you've now woken up to. And in some ways that's gonna be a little bit more difficult because now you're aware. You're aware of just how screwed up this whole thing actually is and then you also are very aware that you are still very much within it and that is its own challenge. Now with that said for me raise my hand I'm gonna do it again 100 % the the benefits outweigh the cons for me all day long. I don't know that's gonna be for everybody and so I felt like I needed to say that. So I know you guys are asking like okay you've been rambling now for a few minutes you told me about The matrix and how you define it all that bullshit and in your but how am I gonna how am I gonna wake up to the matrix? I'm gonna tell you something that is going to hit a little different and I don't anticipate it to roll off the tongue and you guys just be like, yeah But here is the reality of waking up to the Matrix. And this is the philosophy that you need to adopt and then use your critical thinking skills, use your learning ability to go find out just how true this answer really is. And here is the answer. How do you wake up from the Matrix? You need to understand that everything is bullshit. And I'll say it again. Everything is bullshit. It's all bullshit. And that seems like a stupid answer. I know you guys are like, well, that's a cop out. No, it's not. It's the truth. And you just don't realize how incredibly true that is until you start to explore it. Everything is bullshit. All the stuff that they taught you in school. All of the things that you think you believe. Bullshit. And I'm going to give you a few examples. History. Ancient future. Shout out to Four Visions and my man Carlos Duran. He's an ayahuasca that's gonna be joining us on the podcast here in a couple of days. I think you guys are gonna love that. But. We know history, right? Everybody sitting out here has been educated in history. But let's apply some critical thought to that. What do you know about history? What were you actually taught about history? Who wrote the history books? Who chose the information that you were educated on to learn? History is written by the winners. Truthfully. Throughout history, everything that we think that we know in history was written by a government system, a religious system that was in charge, predominantly, socially agreed upon at some point in time. Which means that if there was ever a counter argument or a counter opinion or a counter reality to the situations that were occurring, you probably don't know about it. You just don't. Okay? Let me provide you with an example. I like to tell stories. So here I am. I am in my sophomore year of college. And I am attending Jefferson College. ⁓ out, it's a community college. And I had a history professor in college. And like everybody else that's getting an associate's degree, I ⁓ through and just learn basic studies. ⁓ I didn't understand why I had to learn basic studies. because that didn't make any sense to me. Like why do you have to take college level history? Like didn't we just spend the last 12 years of our life learning the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and just about every history thing that we needed to know to be good Americans? So why am I sitting in a college classroom and the next thing you know I'm like, ⁓ my god I learned history again? More shit to memorize? And then we are sitting in that class and then they start to talk about the Civil War. I thought okay I know like everything there is to know about the Civil War. It bought over slavery all this other stuff and I think at this time like the year was like 2005-ish you know play loose there I really have no idea it all runs together when you get my age but I'm sitting in this classroom and then the teacher starts talking about ⁓ how the North industrialized. And so the Northern United States industrialized and they started producing their own goods because we had the first or second industrial revolution, whichever one that was. I really don't know off the top of my head right now. But regardless, it was one of the first versions of the industrial revolution that we had went through. And I do believe this was the second. We get into this industrial revolution and we now all of a sudden the textiles and everything is going and so northern United States is producing and they're making goods that they want to sell to southerners in the United States and it's like oh okay well that makes sense well the problem was that the English were also producing the same goods and that they were selling those goods to the southerners Well, as America started to industrialize, as the North started to industrialize, they could not sell their products to the Southerners because the Southerners weren't buying the products. Because we had two completely different economy systems that were working. The South existed on agriculture, which means that you had large land ownership, were producing goods and textiles, and you were growing growing crops and then the slave trade was huge down there because slaves were workers ⁓ the properties. Okay, so this was there ⁓ very similar to what we see in America today with a lot of the immigration and things like that. I mean, these people that are being paid ⁓ to nothing to do back baking labor and they're out there and they're working the farm fields and they're doing all this agriculture and everything else. ⁓ modern slavery. So it's a very similar situation that we see in that economy. And then in the north, they're being completely industrial. They're industrializing. More and more people are leaving the farms, moving to factories, they're producing goods, and so on and so forth. So we have two completely different competing economies. Well, the southern economy didn't want to pay the cost of the high-priced northern goods. And so they weren't buying them. It was actually more affordable for the southerners to be able to purchase goods that were coming from England at the time. And ⁓ so the imported goods were cheaper. And so the Southerners were choosing to buy the imported goods because it was more affordable and better for their economy. And the Northerners didn't like that. So because the government in Washington, DC decided that, know what we're going to do, ⁓ and maybe it wasn't in Washington, DC at that point. I don't remember. Maybe it was still in New York. But what they were going to do is they were going to go ahead and ⁓ place a tariff, a high tariff on the imported goods to make the imported goods more expensive than the northern goods so that the northern United States goods would then be purchased by the southerners. Well, the southerners didn't vote on this. They weren't too happy about it and they got pretty up in arms about the inequality that was happening and this is the reason why the Civil War was started. Now, I didn't know any of this. This was completely new information to me. Until this information was presented to me my sophomore year of college by a history teacher who was not teaching a socially prescribed education curriculum. to the students, see that is something you need to be aware of. What is public education and how does it work at the K through 12 level? I actually have a secondary education degree. And so when I submitted my dissertation, originally my dissertation was disallowed because I was trying to connect the gaps between education 4.0 and industry 4.0. And I wanted to bridge the gaps. How could we make education better so that it matched the needs and education requirements of industry And they said, you can't do that. I said, well, why not? And they said, well, you don't have an education degree. You're a business guy. ⁓ no shit. OK, so what did I do? I stopped my dissertation, which is why I'm all but dissertation. And then I went back to college as an undergraduate, and I got a four-year degree in K through 12 education so that I could be able to submit that dissertation with authority because I believed that that dissertation had merit. And we needed to understand how to properly train and upskill employees for the demands faced in this technologically induced revolution that we were going through. But I learned a lot along the way. See, I had been a college professor since 2016. And as a college professor, I designed my own curriculum. In fact, when I teach seated classes, not so much anymore that I facilitate mostly online courses. Typically, when I'm facilitating an online classroom, they provide a curriculum. And then I'm just facilitating an approved curriculum that has been authorized by ⁓ whatever education certification, usually Higher Learning Commission, something like that. But K through 12 education is completely different. See, there's a standardized curriculum that's put out by the Board of Education. It's federally regulated. Everything that is taught inside of the classrooms, unless it's the little nuggets of wisdom that gets put outside of it by individual teachers, is going to be a socially prescribed curriculum. It's education. It's indoctrination. So what was I indoctrination? indoctrinated with when I was in high school well the public indoctrination the proper narrative for good social conscription within the matrix that is the United States of America was I needed to believe that the Civil War was only fought about slavery that it was all about freeing the rights of slaves and that there was no other Anything else to go with that was the premise right emancipation proclamation free the slaves. It's beautiful in the North wins But that isn't the reality that isn't the reality the reality is it was fought over things that we are still fighting about today We're constantly fighting this battle Goods produced here in the United States are expensive. Goods produced other places in the world with lower standard of living are cheaper. And then we get imports. I guess tariffs aren't something that we're talking about anymore. I never imagined the tariffs would be on this list, right? But they are. But they are on this list. And it's important to understand why we are not educated about these things, because they didn't go away. We are ⁓ socially conscribed. Now, for those out there that are like, but was slavery in the Civil War. Absolutely. I'm not going to argue in the nuances of that. 100%. Now, I believe in my personal opinions based on the research I've done, and I could be wrong if there's a history professor out there that would like to correct me. Please, I don't want to spread misinformation. But. I believe that slavery got introduced in the war because at the beginning of the war, the Confederacy was actually winning the war. They controlled the railways, they had most of the money, they had a larger population, they were doing a great job at beginning of the Civil War. And when the Emancipation Proclamation was passed, what they basically did is they had to gut the economy of the South. And like I said earlier, the economy of the South was plantation workers. The economy of the South were people that were slaves that were building up, and the entire foundation of the Southern economy existed on slavery. Don't agree with it, but that's what it was. And so when they gutted, when the Emancipation Proclamation was passed and they made slavery illegal, Remember, industrialized nation in the north, agricultural nation in the south, the economy of the south is held up by slavery. The economy of the north, even though they still own slaves, wasn't resting on slavery. It was resting on a new type of slavery, which is industrialized labor. And so this was a strategic move by the north to go ahead and to destabilize the economic power of the South and it worked and In the meantime, there's a lot of great things that came as a result of that I don't believe that any human being should be slave I don't even think that the modern version of slavery that we have with consumerism and corporations and governments is okay So don't sit here and think that in this story. I'm I'm subscribing to any of these morally held beliefs. I don't but in this story you can see that there are already gaps forming. See there's more information that's out there. And now we need to think about this if that's the Civil War. ⁓ my goodness how much does this change? Our story about World War II, the rise and fall of Hitler, that would look completely different in the history books if the Axis powers would have won. Do you think that we would look at Hitler and the Nazi regime in the same way? That we would look at Stalin and Mussolini in the same way? If the Axis powers would have won the war? think not. Which means that the only version of history that you have is the version of history that was given to you by the winners. Are we tracking? That is just one example of how Social conscriptions, social programming locks you into what is the Matrix. And what you have to start doing to break out of this thing that you want to call the Matrix. You have to start challenging all of these deeply held subscribe to beliefs that you once had and start examining them all and then gaining enough knowledge. determine do I still subscribe to this? Do I still believe that that is the right answer for me? If this was up to Anthony, how would I have done this? Based on the information that I've learned along the way, what do I believe? Well, that goes in everything. Diet, nutrition, that's a great space. There's a beautiful example. Everything that you know about diet, fitness, nutrition, all bullshit. All bullshit. The reality of health and nutrition, which we are going to talk about on this channel, is dramatically different. There's a reason why I spent 20 years of my adult life chasing health and fitness. Unsuccessfully. I went on all the diets. I followed all the exercise advice. I did all of the things that I was quote unquote supposed to do. I followed the science. Okay. I was overweight. Was unhealthy. High blood pressure. High cholesterol. doesn't sound like healthy. Poisoning myself every single day. Chasing ⁓ my tail to no end. But then when I started to learn and go down the road of knowledge that I needed to be able to correct that for myself. So that I can be healthy. So that can be physically fit. So that I'm not injured all the time. So that I don't know I can do things like tie my shoe. without gasping for air. Did that hit anybody out there? Any 30 year old, 40 year old people that find it a little difficult to tie your shoes now? That isn't gonna bode very well for you when you turn 70 and 80. Think about that. But see, society tells you that's normal. That's just a normal part of aging. And then when somebody like me comes along and I start telling you different philosophies of nutrition and different philosophies of fitness, I start telling you about toxins and poisons. They go, ⁓ man, you're one of those crunchy guys. That guy's a lunatic. He's insane. He's crazy. Well, I'm... That's by the way a basic test for morbidity for elderly people because mobility is life. If you can't do that at 40, not good, not good. But see, you don't want to be crazy like me. You don't want to be one those crunchy people. You don't want to be those insane people because you know, there's not a difference between living and quality of life, right? My mother once told me after visiting Canada and complaining about the food options there because everything was organic and healthy. It cost a little more. She didn't like it. And then her answer was, I've been eating this way my whole life. I'm still here. True. But how are you here? Are you healthy? Have you lived a healthy life? What is the quality of your life? There are 96 year old people that are hiking the Grand Canyon, a hike that I probably could not go on right now, because I'm not in good enough shape to do it. But, 96 year old person can do it. But I know a lot of 60 and 70 year old people that can't tie their shoes, that if they fell over somebody would have to help them up. They have a hard time getting up and down. They're healthy according to social standards. That's normal. That's normal. So you're starting to see what I'm getting to. It's all bullshit. It's all bullshit. And you've been told that it's normal. You've been told it's OK. You've been told that if you question any of it, you're crazy. It's your fault. Shouldn't be one of those weird people. And now you should starting to be seeing two things. One, what do I mean by everything is bullshit? And just how deep can those layers go? If I just given you two examples, and in both of those examples would take you a very, very long time to unpack. Exhaustively. Then can you imagine how many more layers exist in everything? From the way that you communicate to people, to your moral beliefs, to what you believe is socially acceptable in your behavior, how you treat other people, what you believe about your partner, what you believe about the role of a man and a woman, what you believe about sexuality, what you believe about politics and religion. ⁓ holy shit. Now we've got layers. And this is why that's a lifetime of work. Breaking up from the matrix is not easy. but you can't do it until you understand what it is. You can't even start down that road until you understand exactly what you're supposed to be questioning. See, you have to question the things that people call crazy. You have to consider them. You have to look outside of the box. You've got to start going outside of your echo chamber. You've got to start getting away from the conformity bias. You've to stop putting people on a pedestal because they have a degree, a certification, a title, and they tell you that they're an expert. Nobody's an expert. We're all just animals. Look at me. I am a human being, I'm an animal who's living this experience just like you. Going through life just like you. And the only knowledge and the only experience I have are the things that I have taken upon myself to learn, to live through, and to live with along the way. can't be an expert, no more than you're an expert. You're the expert of your life, I'm the expert of mine. But we live in a society, we live inside of the matrix. We are told that they are experts, we are told that they are authorities and that we should not question them. That we should take what they say as the truth. that we should just believe and that we should just follow along. If doctor told you it's right. How did that work for you in COVID? Just question. I'm not going to get into all the details and nitty gritties of that right now, but how did that work for you? How's that played out since? How's all this diet and nutrition advice that constantly changes by the way? Constantly? Like I don't know, they just decided to rewrite the food pyramid that they've had for 30 years? Think about it. What about all the people that were living with that philosophy for the last 30 years? What are they supposed to do? Hit rewind? Unsubscribe? Just be like, ⁓ shit, that's not healthy for me now? Well, that ain't gonna do it to me. Because inside that food pyramid was a lot of things that made you a consumer. And that's the last part that I'm going to talk about. You know why you have so much bad information in the world? Because we live in a world where you are a consumer. You're plugged into the matrix for a reason. You're plugged into the matrix to be a consumer. A product. Your social security number that you were issued, it's a number. It's an identification number. Your name is a corporate entity. And why? Because you are now part of a system. And that system has requirements. And they want you to think a certain way. They want you to be a certain way. They want you to behave a certain way. To identify a certain way. To subscribe a certain way. So that you are a productive member of the system. A productive member of the matrix. You're a slave. You're product. They're making money off you. They're selling you. They're selling to you. What you think of as a job is you exchanging very important hours of your life in exchange for the ability to live on a planet that you were freely born into. We're the only animals on the planet that have to pay to be here. But you've accepted that as normal, haven't you? I did. I didn't question that. That was just part of the real world. I seen a meme a while back on Facebook. Maybe it was a short video, I don't remember. I think it was a short video. And one of the things that really stood out to me in that video is it young girl young girl and she bought her first car She paid for her car. She paid her sales tax. She licensed the car and then you know the property tax and everything that came with it And she was having an absolute meltdown 17 18 year old girl who's really doing the right thing I want to commend her for that. She busted her ass. She went out she worked she she worked hard to earn the money to get the things that she wanted. And then she was demoralized and broken because she realized that she couldn't drive the vehicle that she worked so hard and paid for it because unless she paid the licensing and got it registered with the state, she wasn't allowed to drive it on public roads. Couldn't license it. In order to be able to do that, you had to pay property tax. Wait a second, but I already paid for the car. I paid money to own this car and now if I don't pay this tax on this thing that I own I'm not gonna be able to use it then why did I work so hard to buy it? But I need it Yeah, they know you need it And then the dad, so as this girl is like crying, this dad is laughing and he's berating her in this very dad way. Welcome to the real world. Yeah, yeah, that's the problem. You want to break up with the matrix? You got to be able to look at that situation. You got to be able to look at that dad and go, yeah, that guy is the fucking problem. He's the idiot in this scenario, not the teenager. See, he has subscribed and adopted a narrative, a social norm that makes him a slave, that makes him unable to actually own anything. You will own nothing and you will be happy. You think you own your home? Don't pay your taxes. Think you own your car? Don't pay your taxes. Think you own your life? Don't pay your taxes or break a law that somebody says you shouldn't do. How free are you then? But that's the real world. That's the real world. That's the way things are. No. That's the way that people want them to be. That's the way that other people have convinced the vote to give away their rights, to give away their freedoms, to give away their autonomy and their sovereignty. Those are the decisions that people made to enslave themselves. And now you're enslaved too because somebody a few generations ago decided to enslave themselves. Because they were convinced to do it by a society that had everything to gain and nothing to lose by you losing your sovereignty. But see. The social norm is that girl was the problem. That the kids are the problem. We all want to look at all these kids and they're all going out there and they colored hairs and crazy dressing and everything and they're all screaming for their identity, right? And we just look at that as like a passing phase of life. ⁓ yeah, the young people, they're just having an identity crisis. And then what's the answer to the identity crisis? Sit down, shut up, dress like us, talk like us, get a job like us, pay taxes like us, buy goods like us, own the things that we own, live where we live. Maybe it isn't the kids that got this wrong. Maybe it's not the kids at all. Maybe the adults are the ones that are wrong. See, the kids are just screaming for their place in the world, for their identity, for their freedom, for their sovereignty, because they recognize, see, they're seeing it. They've been programmed for 18 years inside the matrix. And then they're getting to an age where they're getting ready to go into the matrix and they're starting to see it for the first time and they're rebelling. Their souls are screaming about how fucked up it is. How it just don't make sense. that are enslaved inside of it are beating them down until they just give up and conform. Okay, now stop crying, suck it up. We've all heard that before. I subscribed to that. I lived my life according to that. I judged myself according to that. I wasn't good enough. Didn't have the right job, didn't have the right title, didn't make enough money, didn't have the right things, didn't drive the right car, didn't wear the right clothes. Didn't do anything right. To who? me or to society? To the matrix? You want to know what the matrix is? We're talking about it. We're having a conversation about it right now. And maybe for some of you out there, there's these little internal voices that are arguing with the words that are coming out of my mouth right now. You know where those words come from? social programming that you've adopted that you choose to believe to be true. Not from you. Because if you've really given that any thought, I don't think there's anyone out there that doesn't really want to be free. And if you don't, then maybe you need to really research Stockholm Syndrome and see just how deeply embedded into that you might be. There is no level of end to identifying, learning, and reshaping what you believe to break out of the matrix. And in a very real way, There are very few that will actually fully escape the matrix. I might be one of them at some point. I have literally considered buying land, going off grid, disappearing from this society many, many times, especially as of late with the crazy shit we have in the world. But it comes at a cost. And I don't know if I want to... bear the price of that cost just yet. But we're getting there. But you can wake up to it. You can be aware of it. So when you hear people talking about what is the matrix or what is waking up, You're just waking up to the programming. These are what I like to call social distortions. These are things that you believe in your life to be true that may have elements of truth in them that have distorted reasoning underneath them that draw you to illogical conclusions based on social norms. Write that down. See, you'll love my little Van Walleter kicks every now and then, huh? But. That's the reality of it. That is the reality of what the matrix is. That is the reality of what your job, if you want to escape the matrix, is going to look like. And then there are so many levels to this, because you're going to have to examine yourself as a whole person in every single way. Mind, body, spirit, experience. You're gonna have at your culture, you're gonna to look at your family, you're gonna have to look at your friends, you're gonna have to look at yourself in the mirror, and you're gonna have to really dig into that, who you are, the thought, the person behind your thoughts. And then you've gotta determine what you're going to create for you. See, that's what I did, and I'm still doing that, because like I said, there's so many layers to it. But I had to stop at some point and say, you know, I don't agree with this anymore. I don't believe this anymore. So who is Anthony? What does Anthony believe? And I don't care if it's crazy to other people. I don't care if it matches other people's morality. I don't care if it matches their politics. I don't care if they think I'm stupid or crunchy or weird. Because I have determined what I am okay with for me. That's all that matters. How do I? subscribe to what I believe, how do I make choices that I am okay with because I've actually thought them through? Not just subscribe to them because somebody told me I should. Alright, I've covered a lot of information in this and I know this is probably one of the shorter videos. I'm very winded, but I'm doing my best guys. But, that's the Matrix. It really is that simple. It may be a hologram. That's fine. It may be some quantum holographic reality AI controlled whatever. It doesn't fucking matter. Reality is this is the material universe that you're waking up in that your conscious awareness is in This is where you're at right now. You're waking up every day. You're going to work. You're eating food You're drinking you're living your life. You're you're going did you're taking showers and shitting and whatever you're doing This is this is reality right here And that's what you exist with it So you got to determine for you to best do that. What's right for you? And if you really want to find freedom, if you really want to find sovereignty, then you do have to get to the point where you don't just say the words, but you understand the meaning. Everything is bullshit. It's one big lie designed to control you. I would never go back to the social conscription that I used to be under. I wouldn't trade it for a minute. The peace of mind that I have now is worth all the negatives that come with it for me. I hope it will be for you. Share some your stories down in the comments, I wanna hear them. I wanna see how this resonates with you. I wanna see what other spaces in your life that you were able to identify, how you applied this information. And then share your story. Here shortly I'm gonna have a community board set up and I want the listeners of this show to go join that community board. Because how we're gonna do this together is by storytelling. I told you in the foundations video where we looking at the growth mindset. I said I'm not an expert, I'm not a guru. I am here telling stories and sharing my experience with you. Which means you can do the same thing. Everybody has a part to play in this. You have a life full of experience, different than mine. I'm sure that you've learned plenty along the way that I could learn from and so can others. Share your stories. Share your learnings. This will raise everyone up. That's the point of this. So keep an eye out for that community. When I get everything set up, I'll be getting some of that stuff launched out online. But I think that'll be a great place for us to be able to help each other. It takes a village. And you guys are the village. Together, we can do it. All right, guys. For this episode, Burning Bear is out.
