00:00:00.110 --> 00:00:02.750
Hi friends, how are you today? My name is Bailey
2
00:00:02.790 --> 00:00:06.049
Sarian and today is Monday, which means it's Murder, Mystery,
3
00:00:06.089 --> 00:00:10.310
and Makeup Monday. Hi! If you're new here, hi, my
4
00:00:10.330 --> 00:00:13.699
name is Bailey. How's it going? And on Mondays, I
5
00:00:13.730 --> 00:00:15.960
sit down and I talk about a true crime story
6
00:00:16.000 --> 00:00:19.980
that's been heavy on my noggin and I do my
7
00:00:20.019 --> 00:00:23.000
makeup at the same time. Just to keep my hands busy,
8
00:00:23.019 --> 00:00:24.760
you know? If you're interested in true crime and you
9
00:00:24.780 --> 00:00:27.600
like makeup, I would say subscribe because I'm here for
10
00:00:27.620 --> 00:00:30.769
you on Mondays. Hi friends, just popping in here really
11
00:00:30.870 --> 00:00:36.049
quick to mention today's sponsor, Rocket Money. Look, I was
12
00:00:36.090 --> 00:00:38.030
having one of those days, you know, where like everything,
13
00:00:38.630 --> 00:00:42.079
everything was just bothering me. You know how that is.
14
00:00:42.340 --> 00:00:44.299
And then I found something that just really pushed me
15
00:00:44.380 --> 00:00:47.579
over the edge. I was being charged every month for
16
00:00:47.619 --> 00:00:51.219
some random streaming service I don't even use anymore. I
17
00:00:52.380 --> 00:00:54.950
was like, that's it. And I realized I had to
18
00:00:54.979 --> 00:00:57.340
sign up for like a free trial to watch one
19
00:00:57.439 --> 00:01:00.960
show months ago. And I haven't touched it since. They
20
00:01:01.000 --> 00:01:03.799
always get me with the free trials. Okay, and then
21
00:01:03.840 --> 00:01:06.019
I forget about it. Next thing you know, I'm paying
22
00:01:06.060 --> 00:01:09.000
for stuff I don't even use. And the worst part
23
00:01:09.140 --> 00:01:13.489
is trying to cancel it. Well, thankfully, that's where Rocket
24
00:01:13.530 --> 00:01:16.209

47
00:02:34.430 --> 00:02:37.379
Now let's get back to today's story. A few things
48
00:02:37.439 --> 00:02:39.310
before we get started. One, I got a new microphone.
49
00:02:39.849 --> 00:02:41.530
Does it sound good? Let me know down below. I
50
00:02:42.229 --> 00:02:43.430
think it sounds good, but I want to know what
51
00:02:43.449 --> 00:02:46.650
you know. You know? Okay. And second of all, if
52
00:02:46.669 --> 00:02:48.349
you're ever curious to know what products I'm using, I
53
00:02:48.389 --> 00:02:50.810
do list them down in the description box. But other
54
00:02:50.830 --> 00:02:54.439
than that, I'll get into today's story because this guy,
55
00:02:55.400 --> 00:02:57.580
he sucks. So I've been seeing a lot about this
56
00:02:57.620 --> 00:03:00.860
guy lately because it's a fairly new situation that's been,
57
00:03:01.060 --> 00:03:04.120
he just got, his trial just went through and all that.
58
00:03:04.439 --> 00:03:07.240
His sentencing is coming up. And I've seen a lot
59
00:03:07.259 --> 00:03:11.259
of people talking about him because some of you all
60
00:03:11.580 --> 00:03:16.379
think that this man, this disgusting killer, is hot. People
61
00:03:16.400 --> 00:03:18.819
are like, oh my God, he's so hot. And it's like,
62
00:03:19.370 --> 00:03:21.849
just because he has his hair slicked back and some tattoos,
63
00:03:21.990 --> 00:03:25.669
people think he's hot. And it's like, you guys, get
64
00:03:25.689 --> 00:03:30.050
some standards. Get some standards, okay? You can do better
65
00:03:30.069 --> 00:03:32.969
than a killer. Okay, all right, great. With that being said,
66
00:03:33.000 --> 00:03:36.560
we're talking about this guy. His name is Wade... Stephen Wilson.
67
00:03:37.240 --> 00:03:39.340
All right. I'm going to the doctors today. So I'm
68
00:03:39.360 --> 00:03:40.659
going to, I think I'm going to do like a
69
00:03:40.699 --> 00:03:42.879
kind of natural look. Not that you care, but I'm
70
00:03:42.900 --> 00:03:44.900
just letting you know. Natural for me. I don't want
71
00:03:44.919 --> 00:03:46.979
to look too crazy. I mean, we'll see though, because
72
00:03:47.460 --> 00:03:49.300
that's always my intention. And the next thing you know,
73
00:03:50.039 --> 00:03:53.360
cake face. It happens every time. Anyways, today we're talking
74
00:03:53.400 --> 00:03:57.360
about this guy named Wade Stephen Wilson. He was also
75
00:03:57.439 --> 00:04:02.360
called the Deadpool killer because his name is identical to
76
00:04:02.400 --> 00:04:06.770
that of the fictional antihero, Deadpool, whose real name is
77
00:04:06.849 --> 00:04:11.409
also Wade Wilson. Now, what are the odds of that, huh? Now, Deadpool,
78
00:04:11.430 --> 00:04:14.629
if you don't know, is a character from like Marvel Comics.
79
00:04:15.060 --> 00:04:19.079
And this character is known for his chaotic, unpredictable nature.
80
00:04:19.779 --> 00:04:23.600
And he has like a tendency toward violence. And like,
81
00:04:23.639 --> 00:04:27.300
to be fair, in a more humorous and exaggerated comic
82
00:04:27.350 --> 00:04:31.110
book fashion, it's supposed to be funny. The media likely
83
00:04:31.230 --> 00:04:34.709
used this moniker because of the name, obviously, right? His name.
84
00:04:35.279 --> 00:04:39.970
and the violent nature of Wade Stephen Wilson's crimes. Now,
85
00:04:40.870 --> 00:04:46.149
unlike the fictional Deadpool, Wade Stephen Wilson's actions were very
86
00:04:46.230 --> 00:04:50.129
real and devastating. I mean, leading to tragic outcomes for
87
00:04:50.170 --> 00:04:53.670
his victims. So let me tell you about this guy,
88
00:04:53.930 --> 00:04:59.149
Wade Stephen Wilson. Now, his story begins on May 20th, 1994.
89
00:04:59.149 --> 00:05:02.269
His father, he was just like a teenager. I think
90
00:05:02.300 --> 00:05:04.759
he was 14 or 15 years old when he learned
91
00:05:04.800 --> 00:05:09.339
that His girlfriend was pregnant with Wade and, you know,
92
00:05:09.360 --> 00:05:12.899
they're young. So Wade's birth mom, I guess she had
93
00:05:12.939 --> 00:05:18.399
struggled with mental illness and possibly like addiction. So it
94
00:05:19.620 --> 00:05:21.720
was just like a rough start for Wade, that is.
95
00:05:22.180 --> 00:05:25.480
But Wade's path had changed when he was adopted by
96
00:05:25.600 --> 00:05:28.860
Candy and Steve Wilson. I guess like they were a
97
00:05:28.899 --> 00:05:32.879
super kind couple. They attended church with his birth mother.
98
00:05:33.319 --> 00:05:35.470
I think that's probably how they fell. found each other,
99
00:05:35.689 --> 00:05:38.329
like his birth mom and the adopted parents. So Wade
100
00:05:38.350 --> 00:05:42.230
gets adopted. And as a child, you know, they said, Wade,
101
00:05:42.569 --> 00:05:46.079
he seems like any other kid. He liked to play sports.
102
00:05:46.220 --> 00:05:49.040
He attended church and he did really well in school.
103
00:05:49.500 --> 00:05:52.040
His parents remembered him as a good kid with a
104
00:05:52.180 --> 00:05:57.060
promising future, you know, but we're here. So what happened? Well,
105
00:05:57.610 --> 00:06:01.170
I guess when Wade, you know, approached his teenage years,
106
00:06:01.550 --> 00:06:05.149
a lot of things started to change. So around the
107
00:06:05.189 --> 00:06:08.600
age of 13, Wade started showing troubling signs of like
108
00:06:08.680 --> 00:06:14.399
mental instability. So he started to become reclusive. He was paranoid.
109
00:06:14.459 --> 00:06:17.139
He was moody. And, you know, whenever he would go
110
00:06:17.189 --> 00:06:21.060
to school, he would cause disruptions in class. He was
111
00:06:21.079 --> 00:06:24.060
that kid. So his family, they're seeing these changes, you know,
112
00:06:24.259 --> 00:06:26.399
and it's concerning to them. I like, I don't have
113
00:06:26.439 --> 00:06:29.620
like great examples here, but it was concerning enough that
114
00:06:29.660 --> 00:06:32.600
they wanted to get him mental health care because they
115
00:06:32.620 --> 00:06:37.149
believe that he like really needed it. But Wade being
116
00:06:37.189 --> 00:06:39.209
the teenager that he was, he just, he didn't want it.
117
00:06:39.250 --> 00:06:45.790
He The family, they felt like they had no other
118
00:06:45.930 --> 00:06:50.399
option but to invoke the Baker Act. So this is
119
00:06:50.439 --> 00:06:54.680
a Florida law and it's officially known as the Florida
120
00:06:54.800 --> 00:06:58.920
Mental Health Act of 1971. And this allows for emergency
121
00:06:59.000 --> 00:07:04.519
mental health services and temporary detention for individuals who are
122
00:07:04.720 --> 00:07:09.769
unable to determine their need for treatment due to mental illness. illness.
123
00:07:10.250 --> 00:07:11.800
I mean, this is just my own personal opinion. I
124
00:07:11.800 --> 00:07:14.459
don't know. It must've been concerning enough for them to like,
125
00:07:15.040 --> 00:07:17.839
you know, get him this type of help. So as
126
00:07:17.879 --> 00:07:20.100
a part of this act, Wade was held for no
127
00:07:20.139 --> 00:07:23.500
more than 72 hours to assess his mental state. And
128
00:07:23.519 --> 00:07:26.329
then they go from there. They either give you more treatment,
129
00:07:26.370 --> 00:07:29.129
they give you medication, they give you whatever, but they
130
00:07:29.170 --> 00:07:34.540
determine in those 72 hours, What's wrong? Now, it's possible
131
00:07:34.600 --> 00:07:38.949
that these mental health issues were actually made worse by
132
00:07:39.230 --> 00:07:44.069
drug use. It's believed he started dabbling with, you know,
133
00:07:44.389 --> 00:07:48.389
the hoo-hahs, whatever the hoo-hahs are. It's also believed that
134
00:07:48.470 --> 00:07:51.350
the changes in Wade's mental health may have been influenced
135
00:07:51.389 --> 00:07:54.449
by several concussions he got while he was playing sports.
136
00:07:55.040 --> 00:07:58.839
And then it was made worse when he started doing drugs.
137
00:07:59.430 --> 00:08:02.529
So he just, it was not the right combination for him.
138
00:08:02.930 --> 00:08:07.790
So in 2012, after turning 18, Wade, he decided to
139
00:08:07.850 --> 00:08:13.920
reconnect with his biological father. His name is Stephen Testaseca.
140
00:08:13.939 --> 00:08:16.889
I tried, but his name is Stephen. And he lived
141
00:08:17.009 --> 00:08:20.529
in Lakeland, Florida. So they get in touch and they
142
00:08:20.569 --> 00:08:22.790
kind of stay in touch on and off for like
143
00:08:22.810 --> 00:08:25.860
the next few years. But it doesn't really seem like
144
00:08:25.879 --> 00:08:29.519
they got like that close, but regardless, they were in touch.
145
00:08:29.860 --> 00:08:32.879
He reconnects with his dad. He's an adult now, which
146
00:08:32.919 --> 00:08:35.200
sucks because now he's, when he's getting in trouble, he's
147
00:08:35.220 --> 00:08:39.230
getting like arrested and building a record, you know? During
148
00:08:39.250 --> 00:08:42.210
this time, Wade got into trouble with the law several
149
00:08:42.269 --> 00:08:47.250
times for theft of property and even assault. I was
150
00:08:47.269 --> 00:08:48.970
trying to find out more information about this because I
151
00:08:48.970 --> 00:08:50.669
was like, this is kind of bizarre, but I don't know.
152
00:08:50.889 --> 00:08:54.940
Wade's adopted parents, they like challenged these charges and they
153
00:08:54.960 --> 00:08:58.080
ended up taking it to court and they won their case,
154
00:08:58.179 --> 00:09:02.820
which led to Wade's charges being dropped. So Wade, I
155
00:09:02.860 --> 00:09:05.919
guess also during this time, he has a daughter, but
156
00:09:05.960 --> 00:09:10.200
like there's really not much else known about that so
157
00:09:10.299 --> 00:09:13.759
in late 2018 wade started dating a woman named kelly
158
00:09:14.059 --> 00:09:17.500
in palm beach county florida now it was said that
159
00:09:17.580 --> 00:09:22.440
wade you know he's tall he's handsome he's charismatic and
160
00:09:22.460 --> 00:09:25.340
he has like tattoos he has a lot of tattoos
161
00:09:25.820 --> 00:09:28.019
and at this time when they started dating in 2018
162
00:09:28.019 --> 00:09:31.960
like they weren't that noticeable like they weren't what you
163
00:09:32.019 --> 00:09:38.000
see now you know so he was attractive and it
164
00:09:38.019 --> 00:09:40.509
was it was easy to like the guy So Kelly,
165
00:09:40.549 --> 00:09:42.759
I guess she knew him by his middle name, which
166
00:09:42.980 --> 00:09:46.639
was Steven. And they seemed happy at first. You know,
167
00:09:46.659 --> 00:09:49.360
the first few months are going great. They end up
168
00:09:49.559 --> 00:09:52.370
moving in together and living in Lake Worth, Florida, and
169
00:09:52.419 --> 00:09:56.570
everything seemed fine. And she said that there seemed to
170
00:09:56.610 --> 00:09:59.950
be like no red flags. That is until Wade was arrested.
171
00:10:00.340 --> 00:10:04.639
in January of 2019 for grand theft and dealing in
172
00:10:04.679 --> 00:10:08.779
stolen property. So there's your red flag girl. After his
173
00:10:08.830 --> 00:10:11.929
release from jail, I guess Wade and Kelly got back together.
174
00:10:12.389 --> 00:10:17.559
But things like quickly went downhill. Wade, he started using drugs.
175
00:10:17.740 --> 00:10:21.399
I think specifically like at first cocaine, which Kelly at
176
00:10:21.440 --> 00:10:23.419
the time, she like didn't realize at first that he
177
00:10:23.460 --> 00:10:27.259
was using drugs because she didn't have any experience with drugs.
178
00:10:27.279 --> 00:10:29.870
She didn't use drugs herself. She said that like in
179
00:10:29.909 --> 00:10:33.970
the past she tried marijuana, but like it wasn't a
180
00:10:34.029 --> 00:10:36.289
fun experience. She had a panic attack. So she just
181
00:10:36.309 --> 00:10:39.240
kind of never dabbled. So she didn't really know like
182
00:10:39.519 --> 00:10:42.679
what the signs were, I guess. But eventually, I guess
183
00:10:42.919 --> 00:10:45.519
she was like looking through her stuff and she found
184
00:10:45.700 --> 00:10:49.039
evidence of a makeshift crack pipe. So she finds this
185
00:10:49.179 --> 00:10:52.580
makeshift crack pipe and she has a feeling that it's
186
00:10:52.659 --> 00:10:55.919
drug related. She doesn't know. She's not sure. So she
187
00:10:55.940 --> 00:10:59.080
takes a photo of it and I guess she posted
188
00:10:59.220 --> 00:11:02.059
on Reddit and she asked like on Reddit, like, what
189
00:11:02.460 --> 00:11:05.039
is this? She had a feeling, but she wasn't sure.
190
00:11:05.950 --> 00:11:10.309
And people had responded that it was indeed a DIY
191
00:11:10.330 --> 00:11:15.269
crack pipe. So not great. So their relationship became strained
192
00:11:15.309 --> 00:11:18.610
with arguments that sometimes got intense. She said it never
193
00:11:18.649 --> 00:11:23.259
got physical until one day when Kelly tried to search
194
00:11:23.299 --> 00:11:27.940
his backpack for drugs. She's just checking, you know, and
195
00:11:28.100 --> 00:11:30.179
Wade kind of found out and he got really pissed.
196
00:11:30.820 --> 00:11:33.240
So she was in like a room with the door
197
00:11:33.299 --> 00:11:36.769
shut and I guess he kicked in the door and
198
00:11:37.809 --> 00:11:39.789
hit her or attacked her. And then she threw a
199
00:11:39.850 --> 00:11:42.350
table at him. Not great, but this is like the
200
00:11:42.389 --> 00:11:45.350
first time things got physical between them. And then things
201
00:11:45.450 --> 00:11:48.049
really seem to get worse from here. So I guess
202
00:11:48.110 --> 00:11:51.929
at this point, Wade started to steal from Kelly. I
203
00:11:51.950 --> 00:11:54.110
guess he like stole her gun and then he ran
204
00:11:54.149 --> 00:11:56.740
away to Texas and like didn't even tell her. Kelly,
205
00:11:56.769 --> 00:11:59.940
she had reported this to the police because he stole
206
00:12:00.000 --> 00:12:03.840
her gun, you know, but like nothing came of it
207
00:12:04.120 --> 00:12:07.820
they did nothing really despite their issues they made up
208
00:12:07.919 --> 00:12:11.940
several times because as kelly admitted this is what she
209
00:12:11.980 --> 00:12:14.480
said this guy's hot and i'll do anything to keep
210
00:12:14.519 --> 00:12:19.750
him around now you can judge but there's a lot
211
00:12:19.769 --> 00:12:22.289
of people in that situation where you're just like you
212
00:12:22.309 --> 00:12:24.110
don't have any self-worth you know and you're like well
213
00:12:24.129 --> 00:12:27.389
this guy's hot and i'll never get someone hot So
214
00:12:27.509 --> 00:12:29.409
I'll just put up with it. But really, once you
215
00:12:29.429 --> 00:12:31.720
get away from it, that's when you realize like, oh crap,
216
00:12:31.750 --> 00:12:34.539
what was I doing? I get it. I'm not judging.
217
00:12:34.720 --> 00:12:36.460
I mean, she said that, you know, she was stupid,
218
00:12:36.539 --> 00:12:38.620
but at the time she was just not making good choices.
219
00:12:39.059 --> 00:12:42.759
But letting him back into her life, she later realized
220
00:12:43.200 --> 00:12:46.500
was just a huge mistake. On February 18, 2019, Wade's
221
00:12:46.559 --> 00:12:52.289
behavior took a terrifying turn. Wade and Kelly got into
222
00:12:52.320 --> 00:12:55.580
like some kind of heated argument. Somehow it leads to
223
00:12:55.700 --> 00:12:59.700
Wade kidnapping Kelly. He threw her into the trunk of
224
00:12:59.740 --> 00:13:03.200
her own car and then drove to the Florida Keys,
225
00:13:03.259 --> 00:13:06.259
which was about three and a half hours away with
226
00:13:06.279 --> 00:13:09.080
her in the trunk. During this, he like beat and
227
00:13:09.159 --> 00:13:13.570
sexually assaulted her. He binded her up with her own clothes.
228
00:13:13.799 --> 00:13:16.669
He stuffed leggings in her mouth to gag her. It
229
00:13:17.309 --> 00:13:20.000
was pretty intense. At some point, he like bit her
230
00:13:20.039 --> 00:13:23.159
lower face. He scratched her neck. And apparently in the
231
00:13:23.200 --> 00:13:25.620
struggle to get her into the trunk of the car,
232
00:13:25.759 --> 00:13:29.120
he broke her foot by slamming like the door on it.
233
00:13:29.259 --> 00:13:31.120
So he's got her in like the trunk, whatever. And
234
00:13:31.159 --> 00:13:35.159
he's driving like recklessly down the I-95. Allegedly, he's like speeding,
235
00:13:35.179 --> 00:13:38.019
weaving through traffic, driving like a psycho. During the drive,
236
00:13:38.039 --> 00:13:39.899
I mean, it's three and a half hours. At some point,
237
00:13:39.940 --> 00:13:43.220
he got hungry. So he pulled into a McDonald's drive-thru
238
00:13:43.340 --> 00:13:47.379
and ordered food with her still in the trunk. Jeez Louise.
239
00:13:47.779 --> 00:13:52.169
So inside the car, Wade had disabled the OnStar system.
240
00:13:52.769 --> 00:13:54.870
You know, that little thing that you talk to, OnStar.
241
00:13:56.789 --> 00:13:59.330
Is that still in cars? I forgot about that. I
242
00:13:59.330 --> 00:14:03.500
don't have OnStar. I have a Kia. But just in case, like,
243
00:14:03.559 --> 00:14:07.039
you know, she tried to, I don't know, like use it,
244
00:14:07.759 --> 00:14:09.480
talk to it. And then I guess he like took
245
00:14:09.500 --> 00:14:13.730
her phone. and quickly sold it for crack and then
246
00:14:13.889 --> 00:14:16.509
when they reached the keys it was like around 4 a.m
247
00:14:16.970 --> 00:14:18.929
wade had met up with another woman and he let
248
00:14:19.230 --> 00:14:22.289
kelly go thank god right he lets her go i
249
00:14:22.490 --> 00:14:25.629
guess he gave her the keys to the car so
250
00:14:25.690 --> 00:14:28.149
she could drive back that part i was like what
251
00:14:28.529 --> 00:14:31.379
okay i mean i'll take it it's better than him
252
00:14:31.399 --> 00:14:36.159
going psycho and doing something crazy you know but Okay,
253
00:14:36.419 --> 00:14:38.830
so Kelly, she drives back to Palm Beach County and
254
00:14:38.909 --> 00:14:41.350
she went straight to the hospital. The hospital, you know,
255
00:14:41.590 --> 00:14:45.330
they documented the lacerations on her wrist, the bite marks.
256
00:14:45.830 --> 00:14:47.830
She had a busted lip and then they took a
257
00:14:47.909 --> 00:14:52.159
sexual assault kit. Now after this, Kelly, she tried, she
258
00:14:52.240 --> 00:14:57.259
wanted to press charges. But based off of what my understanding,
259
00:14:57.279 --> 00:15:00.519
it seems like the police out there are freaking idiots.
260
00:15:01.200 --> 00:15:06.450
Because like either the evidence was lost. ignored or somehow
261
00:15:06.509 --> 00:15:10.389
insufficient and like nothing came of it, which makes no
262
00:15:10.450 --> 00:15:14.250
sense because she had all these documents showing that like
263
00:15:14.649 --> 00:15:16.419
what he did to her. Kelly kept some of like
264
00:15:16.440 --> 00:15:18.820
the photos of her injuries on her phone, but police
265
00:15:18.840 --> 00:15:21.220
were unable to locate the photos that they had taken
266
00:15:21.259 --> 00:15:24.179
at the hospital. Like they took photos and stuff and
267
00:15:24.220 --> 00:15:28.299
then they just like deleted them. They're literally so dumb.
268
00:15:28.330 --> 00:15:32.610
This whole story is about how dumb these police are. Sorry,
269
00:15:33.049 --> 00:15:36.320
but they are. The case ended up becoming inactive because
270
00:15:36.340 --> 00:15:40.039
there were no witnesses and technically because they lost it all,
271
00:15:40.539 --> 00:15:43.559
no evidence. And I guess at some point they did
272
00:15:43.600 --> 00:15:47.259
go to Wade and they questioned him about these allegations.
273
00:15:48.299 --> 00:15:51.659
And Wade told police that he had tied Kelly up
274
00:15:51.940 --> 00:15:54.759
in the back of her car because she was, quote,
275
00:15:55.340 --> 00:15:58.960
into that kind of thing. So after that, like police
276
00:15:59.000 --> 00:16:01.759
were like, well, all right, well, OK, checks out. And
277
00:16:01.799 --> 00:16:04.120
that was it. So after the incident, Kelly and Wade,
278
00:16:04.179 --> 00:16:08.639
I believe they officially like ended it. Pretty positive. But,
279
00:16:09.159 --> 00:16:12.769
you know, for Wade, he continued on with his violent behavior.
280
00:16:13.110 --> 00:16:16.090
It was said that he dated like several other women
281
00:16:16.590 --> 00:16:21.909
where he like had abused them or this was violent,
282
00:16:22.320 --> 00:16:25.019
you know. When I was reading about this, they said
283
00:16:25.070 --> 00:16:29.830
that at some point, allegedly, he may have dated a guy.
284
00:16:30.389 --> 00:16:34.350
And at some point he had stabbed this guy. It's
285
00:16:34.389 --> 00:16:37.029
not funny. It's just like awkward because that was all
286
00:16:37.070 --> 00:16:39.269
the information I could find. So like he may have
287
00:16:39.309 --> 00:16:42.320
dated a guy and stabbed him. And then moving on.
288
00:16:43.169 --> 00:16:47.090
I was like, okay. All right. What was that about though?
289
00:16:48.149 --> 00:16:52.299
Just not any information I could find. So by October
290
00:16:52.340 --> 00:16:56.840
of 2019, Wade was dating a woman named Melissa Montanez.
291
00:16:58.159 --> 00:17:00.750
And just follow me on this journey because I had
292
00:17:00.769 --> 00:17:02.330
a lot of questions. I was like, what? This doesn't
293
00:17:02.350 --> 00:17:05.490
make sense, but just this is what happened. Okay. On
294
00:17:05.690 --> 00:17:11.470
October 6th, Wade and Melissa, they're dating. They decided to
295
00:17:11.509 --> 00:17:13.710
go out to the club in Fort Myers and it's
296
00:17:13.750 --> 00:17:19.839
called Buddha Life. Buddha Life. And while they're there, Wade
297
00:17:20.000 --> 00:17:23.980
he meets this guy named Jason Shepard now I guess
298
00:17:24.220 --> 00:17:27.990
they did not know each other before this evening Jason
299
00:17:28.309 --> 00:17:31.789
and Wade but the two um seem to hit it
300
00:17:31.930 --> 00:17:35.789
off I'm sure it's something drug related in my opinion
301
00:17:35.809 --> 00:17:39.150
allegedly I don't know but like Jason this Jason guy
302
00:17:39.170 --> 00:17:43.119
he invites Wade and Melissa back to his place Melissa's
303
00:17:43.160 --> 00:17:44.640
like I don't want to go like I don't know
304
00:17:44.660 --> 00:17:46.900
this guy I don't want to go So she's like, no,
305
00:17:46.910 --> 00:17:49.829
I'm not going. Well, Wade, he really wanted to go
306
00:17:49.930 --> 00:17:52.519
and he did not like her answer. So he's like,
307
00:17:52.539 --> 00:17:56.039
you know what? Fine. And he ends up taking Melissa's
308
00:17:56.079 --> 00:17:59.200
car and like technically stealing it. So he steals her
309
00:17:59.359 --> 00:18:02.880
car and then he meets up with this woman named
310
00:18:02.920 --> 00:18:07.130
Christine Melton and her friend Stephanie Johnson. But Wade introduced
311
00:18:07.150 --> 00:18:10.410
himself as Junior to the Stephanie girl because he didn't
312
00:18:10.430 --> 00:18:12.490
know that Stephanie girl. He knew Christine. Not sure how
313
00:18:12.529 --> 00:18:15.680
they knew each other, but whatever that happened. It was
314
00:18:15.720 --> 00:18:19.160
said that Christine had been, well, Christine and Wade, they
315
00:18:19.200 --> 00:18:24.160
had been attracted to one another and were quote unquote intimate.
316
00:18:24.599 --> 00:18:28.720
So the next morning, he like stays the night, probably,
317
00:18:28.740 --> 00:18:32.099
I'm assuming here, maybe doing drugs. I don't know. The
318
00:18:32.140 --> 00:18:35.640
next morning, Wade tried to drive Christine and Stephanie back
319
00:18:35.680 --> 00:18:39.880
to Cape Coral where Christine had lived. I guess, well,
320
00:18:39.900 --> 00:18:41.490
it was said like he was having a really hard
321
00:18:41.549 --> 00:18:45.190
time driving back. The car he had stolen because it
322
00:18:45.250 --> 00:18:48.170
was manual and it wasn't an automatic. So he's like,
323
00:18:49.190 --> 00:18:51.950
you know, trying to shift and it's not going so
324
00:18:51.970 --> 00:18:55.069
well for him. But they get to Christine's house a
325
00:18:55.069 --> 00:18:58.430
little later than they had planned. And Stephanie, the friend,
326
00:18:58.670 --> 00:19:01.210
she's like, hey, I gotta go. I gotta take my
327
00:19:01.390 --> 00:19:03.880
kid to school and then I gotta go to work.
328
00:19:04.359 --> 00:19:06.740
So she leaves. So we don't really know what went down,
329
00:19:06.819 --> 00:19:10.319
but something went down. Because what we do know is
330
00:19:10.339 --> 00:19:17.539
that shortly after Stephanie left, Wade strangled Christine to death.
331
00:19:18.900 --> 00:19:21.329
I know. I was like, what? He like tied her
332
00:19:21.430 --> 00:19:24.329
up with her own clothes, strangles her, and then he
333
00:19:24.369 --> 00:19:28.490
left the crime scene. And he takes Christine's car because
334
00:19:28.529 --> 00:19:30.849
he hates that other one that he has to shift with.
335
00:19:31.589 --> 00:19:34.900
So he steals her car. And then Wade, he makes
336
00:19:34.980 --> 00:19:38.529
a phone call to his girlfriend, Melissa, around 8 a.m.
337
00:19:39.670 --> 00:19:41.970
So at first, like Melissa's not answering. And then about
338
00:19:42.160 --> 00:19:44.039
an hour goes by and Wade, I guess, is still
339
00:19:44.079 --> 00:19:48.349
calling her and Melissa answers. And like, obviously, she's pissed, right?
340
00:19:48.450 --> 00:19:50.769
She's like, what the F? So they have like a
341
00:19:50.809 --> 00:19:55.380
pretty heated argument over Wade stealing her car. And he
342
00:19:55.480 --> 00:19:59.960
then drives to her workplace and it was in like
343
00:19:59.980 --> 00:20:05.650
downtown Fort Myers and And he's driving Christine's black Nissan Versa.
344
00:20:06.049 --> 00:20:10.109
So he gets to technically his girlfriend's place of work.
345
00:20:10.329 --> 00:20:12.500
When he got there, he tries to drag Melissa into
346
00:20:12.519 --> 00:20:15.920
the car. And she's resisting. So then he tackles her.
347
00:20:16.339 --> 00:20:19.720
He beats her. He chokes her. He then drags her
348
00:20:20.160 --> 00:20:24.039
up the stairs to her business. Pins her against the
349
00:20:24.079 --> 00:20:30.230
wall by her throat. So... awful right so I guess
350
00:20:30.650 --> 00:20:33.549
once he's got her pinned he's like he's punching her
351
00:20:33.569 --> 00:20:37.430
in the face and just beating her and I guess
352
00:20:37.470 --> 00:20:40.119
he punches her hard enough that she actually starts to
353
00:20:40.339 --> 00:20:44.519
bleed pretty heavily and this kind of caught him off
354
00:20:44.579 --> 00:20:46.900
guard I think it was like a moment where he
355
00:20:46.940 --> 00:20:49.299
maybe came came back to reality had like a moment
356
00:20:49.319 --> 00:20:51.940
of clarity because he's like oh shit so he pauses
357
00:20:52.440 --> 00:20:55.380
but this pause gave Melissa a chance to like duck
358
00:20:55.500 --> 00:20:58.779
under his arm and escape So she takes off and
359
00:20:58.799 --> 00:21:02.480
she like locks herself in a room. I think it was.
360
00:21:02.660 --> 00:21:06.200
But she gets away. So when she gets away, Wade
361
00:21:06.240 --> 00:21:11.029
just decides to get back in that Nissan and drive off.
362
00:21:11.630 --> 00:21:15.029
Wade's violent spree didn't end there. He returned to Cape
363
00:21:15.089 --> 00:21:19.029
Coral sometime between 9.30 and 11 a.m. So when he's driving,
364
00:21:19.069 --> 00:21:22.019
this is when he spots a woman named Diane Ruiz.
365
00:21:22.440 --> 00:21:26.579
She's walking to work. the moose lodge. And I guess
366
00:21:26.619 --> 00:21:29.299
Wade spots her and he like pulls over and he's like, Hey,
367
00:21:29.319 --> 00:21:31.720
I need directions. Can you help me? I don't know.
368
00:21:31.740 --> 00:21:34.740
He somehow convinces her to like get into the car
369
00:21:34.799 --> 00:21:38.519
with him and help him. So she does. So he
370
00:21:38.599 --> 00:21:41.480
gets her into the car. And then after that, Wade
371
00:21:41.519 --> 00:21:45.400
then strangles her. And then he goes to like an
372
00:21:45.609 --> 00:21:49.549
empty parking lot. It's like near Sam's club. where he
373
00:21:49.789 --> 00:21:52.990
tosses her out of the vehicle. And I guess after that,
374
00:21:53.250 --> 00:21:57.630
he realizes that she's still alive and she's breathing. So
375
00:21:58.130 --> 00:22:02.470
Wade then ran over her multiple times. You know, he
376
00:22:02.539 --> 00:22:06.240
backed up, went forward, backed up. He did that until, quote,
377
00:22:06.759 --> 00:22:10.039
she looked like spaghetti. Now this was according to like
378
00:22:10.059 --> 00:22:15.119
an interview he did with detectives. Not at a Sam's Club.
379
00:22:15.420 --> 00:22:19.319
Now it's not clear to anyone as to why Wade
380
00:22:19.359 --> 00:22:23.380
had killed Diane. There's speculation, you know, many believe like
381
00:22:23.619 --> 00:22:26.069
it was because he, he wanted money to like try
382
00:22:26.109 --> 00:22:27.930
and get out of town. So he was like going
383
00:22:27.950 --> 00:22:31.970
to rob her or something. But again, it's just unclear.
384
00:22:32.349 --> 00:22:35.569
Now at this time, police, they were looking for Wade
385
00:22:35.650 --> 00:22:39.589
because of the attack on Melissa. She had gone like
386
00:22:39.750 --> 00:22:42.539
called police, you know, she was attacked. Right. So they're
387
00:22:42.559 --> 00:22:46.680
looking for him and that's when they find him. He's
388
00:22:47.000 --> 00:22:51.079
parked in the car shirtless at a Joe's Crab Shack
389
00:22:51.680 --> 00:22:54.559
in that stolen black Nissan. So police approach him. They
390
00:22:54.579 --> 00:22:59.559
go up to him and again, the police, they're just dumb.
391
00:22:59.799 --> 00:23:02.259
I don't, they're walking up to his vehicle and I
392
00:23:02.460 --> 00:23:04.880
guess Wade just like sees them and he rolls up
393
00:23:04.920 --> 00:23:08.299
the window and then he just drives away. He literally
394
00:23:08.319 --> 00:23:13.369
just drove away and they're like, well, we tried. Yeah.
395
00:23:13.380 --> 00:23:15.180
They didn't even go after him. They just let him go.
396
00:23:15.980 --> 00:23:18.779
So bizarre. So Wade takes off. Maybe he's getting a
397
00:23:18.799 --> 00:23:21.289
little paranoid knowing that the police are kind of like
398
00:23:21.609 --> 00:23:24.869
they're getting close. Right. So he's driving and he spots
399
00:23:24.950 --> 00:23:28.569
a home that seems to be empty. Now he breaks
400
00:23:28.630 --> 00:23:31.950
into this home by removing the screen and glass from
401
00:23:31.970 --> 00:23:35.920
the window. He's able to get in. The owners, they
402
00:23:35.980 --> 00:23:38.160
were out of town. So it was like, okay, good guess.
403
00:23:38.480 --> 00:23:42.859
And when he's inside, he drank several White Claws from
404
00:23:42.880 --> 00:23:44.940
the fridge. He ate some food and then he even
405
00:23:44.980 --> 00:23:51.160
like changed his clothes. He then contacts his biological father.
406
00:23:51.319 --> 00:23:55.079
He calls him up, Stephen. And I guess he breaks down.
407
00:23:55.460 --> 00:23:59.200
According to his father, Stephen, when Wade had contacted him,
408
00:23:59.269 --> 00:24:01.990
he said that he needed help with something, something he
409
00:24:02.049 --> 00:24:05.150
had done. and couldn't take back. Wade went on to
410
00:24:05.210 --> 00:24:07.740
say that there were two people gone and that they
411
00:24:07.759 --> 00:24:12.079
would not be back. Ending the call with like, I'm
412
00:24:12.119 --> 00:24:14.420
a killer. If you're on the phone and someone says that,
413
00:24:14.460 --> 00:24:16.740
what are you going to do? I don't know. I'm like, um,
414
00:24:17.089 --> 00:24:19.470
wrong number. So his father, Steven said like, at first
415
00:24:19.490 --> 00:24:21.930
he didn't believe him because Wade was a bit of
416
00:24:21.990 --> 00:24:25.509
a storyteller, you know, but Wade had like continued to
417
00:24:25.549 --> 00:24:28.779
describe to his father, like what had happened saying that
418
00:24:28.880 --> 00:24:32.279
he had quote, choked that bitch and that he quote,
419
00:24:32.539 --> 00:24:35.400
stayed in the house a while, rolled her up and
420
00:24:35.420 --> 00:24:37.660
was going to try to put her in her trunk,
421
00:24:37.980 --> 00:24:40.650
but he couldn't lift her. And that he felt like
422
00:24:40.690 --> 00:24:43.309
the rigor mortis had like started to set in. End quote.
423
00:24:43.569 --> 00:24:46.829
Stephen later told investigators that his son didn't seem to
424
00:24:46.910 --> 00:24:49.930
show like any remorse. And when he was on the
425
00:24:49.970 --> 00:24:54.210
phone with him, he actually kind of sounded excited. Oh God.
426
00:24:54.450 --> 00:24:57.970
I know. Wade, I guess, was originally calling his dad
427
00:24:58.019 --> 00:25:00.529
to ask if his if his dad could like call
428
00:25:01.089 --> 00:25:04.720
and get him an Uber out of town. So Stephen
429
00:25:04.779 --> 00:25:07.500
had asked Wade like, okay, yeah, like what's your location?
430
00:25:07.539 --> 00:25:10.079
You know, like send it to me and I'll get
431
00:25:10.099 --> 00:25:12.980
you an Uber. But instead of, you know, sending that
432
00:25:13.019 --> 00:25:16.359
location to get him an Uber, he actually sends the
433
00:25:16.500 --> 00:25:21.170
address to the U.S. Marshals. Good for him, you know.
434
00:25:21.529 --> 00:25:25.029
Stephen later said that he felt a little conflicted, you know,
435
00:25:25.049 --> 00:25:27.150
about turning Wade in. He knew it was the right
436
00:25:27.190 --> 00:25:30.670
decision because most likely Wade would do it again. But
437
00:25:31.029 --> 00:25:34.250
you know, it's your kid. I'm sure it's very confusing.
438
00:25:34.710 --> 00:25:38.259
That same afternoon, Christine's friend, she was contacted by the
439
00:25:38.319 --> 00:25:42.000
police about finding, they had found her car and she
440
00:25:42.039 --> 00:25:44.960
felt like something was up. She's like, something's got to
441
00:25:44.980 --> 00:25:48.819
be wrong. So fearing for her well-being, Cape Coral police,
442
00:25:48.900 --> 00:25:52.619
they forced their way into her home that's when they
443
00:25:52.690 --> 00:25:56.039
see like a large bundle of bedding and clothing in
444
00:25:56.079 --> 00:25:59.480
the hallway near a bedroom and like when they look
445
00:25:59.519 --> 00:26:03.680
inside it was Christine's body so police like did not
446
00:26:03.740 --> 00:26:08.380
initially connect Diane to Wade but she was reported missing
447
00:26:08.640 --> 00:26:10.359
like not long after because she didn't show up to
448
00:26:10.440 --> 00:26:13.519
work and no one had known like where she went
449
00:26:13.559 --> 00:26:17.880
right so she was reported missing and then on October 8th, police,
450
00:26:17.920 --> 00:26:21.460
they had searched this wooded area where Diane was last
451
00:26:21.500 --> 00:26:25.799
seen walking to work, but, you know, it led them nowhere.
452
00:26:26.180 --> 00:26:30.200
By the next day, it became clear to police, well,
453
00:26:30.240 --> 00:26:35.410
based off of Wade's father's testimony, that Wade was responsible
454
00:26:35.650 --> 00:26:40.190
for Diane's disappearance. On October 10th, police had checked the
455
00:26:40.289 --> 00:26:44.049
empty parking lot near the Sam's Club. Because they actually,
456
00:26:44.150 --> 00:26:46.930
police say, noticed like a vulture was circling the area.
457
00:26:46.950 --> 00:26:51.130
I know. I was like, okay, vulture. Putting the pieces
458
00:26:51.190 --> 00:26:53.490
together there. But they see this vulture and they're like,
459
00:26:53.509 --> 00:26:55.430
we should go over there. And when they got there,
460
00:26:55.490 --> 00:27:00.500
that's when they found Diane's body. So on November 19th, 2019,
461
00:27:00.500 --> 00:27:05.200
Wade Wilson was being charged with premeditated murder of the
462
00:27:05.299 --> 00:27:08.859
two women. So Wade, he gave like different interviews where
463
00:27:08.880 --> 00:27:12.730
he argued that he did not kill them. But... Then
464
00:27:12.769 --> 00:27:17.450
he did interviews with police and he told them that, okay,
465
00:27:17.470 --> 00:27:20.130
maybe I killed them. So I was like, okay. His
466
00:27:20.230 --> 00:27:23.670
defense later would argue that like he was heavily drugged
467
00:27:24.410 --> 00:27:27.519
or as his attorney told the court, he was quote,
468
00:27:27.920 --> 00:27:30.420
whacked out of his mind. That's why he did it.
469
00:27:30.839 --> 00:27:35.359
On September 20th, 2020, while awaiting trial, stupid ass Wade
470
00:27:35.440 --> 00:27:39.180
over here, he tried to escape from prison. It didn't work.
471
00:27:39.420 --> 00:27:41.680
Wade and his cellmate, they had planned like a whole
472
00:27:42.450 --> 00:27:44.869
escape plan you know and they even arranged for a
473
00:27:44.950 --> 00:27:48.960
car uh to come pick them up around like 2 a.m
474
00:27:49.000 --> 00:27:51.359
the next morning they were like we're gonna do it
475
00:27:51.799 --> 00:27:54.400
well i guess the deputies they were tipped off about
476
00:27:54.420 --> 00:27:57.230
the plan and so they went to check wait cell
477
00:27:57.670 --> 00:27:59.650
and while they were there they found that the window
478
00:27:59.690 --> 00:28:02.890
had been tampered with The metal frame had been removed
479
00:28:03.329 --> 00:28:07.369
and there were several cracks in the security glass. It
480
00:28:07.410 --> 00:28:09.930
was said that Wade most likely would not have been
481
00:28:09.970 --> 00:28:12.970
able to escape because even with the glass removed, it
482
00:28:13.009 --> 00:28:15.509
would have been impossible for him to fit through the window.
483
00:28:15.569 --> 00:28:16.849
So they're like, we don't even know what these guys
484
00:28:16.869 --> 00:28:19.259
were thinking. So now on top of everything else, he
485
00:28:19.279 --> 00:28:24.900
was also being charged with attempted escape and criminal mischief. Now,
486
00:28:25.099 --> 00:28:29.480
during his time in prison, Wade had apparently joined the
487
00:28:29.519 --> 00:28:34.579
white supremacist gang the Unforgiven. So this gang is primarily
488
00:28:34.740 --> 00:28:39.410
based in Florida and like its main symbol is like
489
00:28:39.450 --> 00:28:43.769
an iron cross interlinked with a swastika and a Nazi
490
00:28:43.990 --> 00:28:48.710
SS in the center. So that's great. And as a
491
00:28:48.769 --> 00:28:52.210
member of the gang, Wade also received several face tattoos.
492
00:28:53.349 --> 00:28:56.069
This is where he gets like fucking covered, okay? And
493
00:28:56.109 --> 00:28:58.230
like all of the tattoos are just straight up racist
494
00:28:58.279 --> 00:29:00.319
and like there's not much else you could say about it.
495
00:29:00.640 --> 00:29:04.329
And It's just gross. So while in prison, he got
496
00:29:04.349 --> 00:29:08.069
like numerous face tattoos, neck tattoos. And he honestly looks
497
00:29:08.089 --> 00:29:10.450
like the Dollar Tree version of the Joker, which is
498
00:29:10.509 --> 00:29:14.390
actually really fitting because he got why so serious and
499
00:29:14.549 --> 00:29:19.589
ha ha ha tattooed around his left eye. Yeah. Now
500
00:29:19.630 --> 00:29:22.710
Wade's attorney first had asked him like, hey, maybe you
501
00:29:22.759 --> 00:29:25.660
can cover up those tattoos with makeup in court, you know?
502
00:29:26.000 --> 00:29:28.839
But then he realized that makeup was not going to
503
00:29:28.900 --> 00:29:32.700
cover the tattoos. So the attorney was like, okay, we'll
504
00:29:32.740 --> 00:29:36.750
work with it. It'll help us argue for insanity. Yeah.
505
00:29:37.069 --> 00:29:41.700
Covering tattoos is not easy. So Wade's trial had started
506
00:29:41.799 --> 00:29:45.720
on June 10th, 2024. Not that long ago. And he
507
00:29:45.740 --> 00:29:48.579
was being charged with first degree murder of Christine Melton,
508
00:29:49.160 --> 00:29:54.569
grand theft, battery, first degree murder of Diane Ruiz, burglary,
509
00:29:55.049 --> 00:29:59.589
and theft. Wade exercised his fifth amendment rights and he
510
00:29:59.630 --> 00:30:02.130
decided not to testify. What was he going to say?
511
00:30:02.670 --> 00:30:06.380
But tons of witnesses came forward with their testimony of
512
00:30:06.420 --> 00:30:09.799
what happened that night. And you know, all signs are
513
00:30:09.819 --> 00:30:13.000
pointing to guilty. So after two hours of deliberation, the
514
00:30:13.059 --> 00:30:17.480
jury found that Wade was guilty on all six counts.
515
00:30:18.089 --> 00:30:21.690
So nine out of the 12 jurors, they had recommended
516
00:30:21.730 --> 00:30:25.839
that Wade be put to death and Florida only requires
517
00:30:26.079 --> 00:30:28.900
eight out of the 12 jurors to recommend a death sentence.
518
00:30:29.220 --> 00:30:34.589
So he qualifies. The sentencing for Wade Wilson is scheduled
519
00:30:34.630 --> 00:30:38.930
for August 27, 2024. So coming up, but he's been
520
00:30:38.970 --> 00:30:41.089
asking for like a new trial. He was arguing that
521
00:30:41.109 --> 00:30:46.240
the state did not sufficiently prove that Wade had possession
522
00:30:46.400 --> 00:30:53.539
of Christine's car. Okay. All right. All right. Okay. All right.
523
00:30:54.160 --> 00:30:56.920
You know, Also on top of that, Wade might not
524
00:30:56.990 --> 00:30:59.730
even get the death penalty because like this whole law
525
00:31:00.009 --> 00:31:03.049
about having eight out of 12 jurors recommend a death sentence,
526
00:31:03.450 --> 00:31:08.009
it got passed after Wade was charged with his crimes.
527
00:31:09.410 --> 00:31:14.089
So they think this might cause like a holdup. So
528
00:31:14.349 --> 00:31:17.150
it might not happen on August 27th because of these challenges,
529
00:31:17.289 --> 00:31:20.490
but we'll see. We'll see. Hold on. Let me put
530
00:31:20.549 --> 00:31:23.829
on my mascara and like a lip. Be right back. Woo!
531
00:31:24.609 --> 00:31:28.609
All right. So that is the Wade Stephen Wilson case.
532
00:31:28.849 --> 00:31:33.170
It's worth mentioning. Remember Kelly? It was Wade's like previous
533
00:31:33.430 --> 00:31:38.690
his ex-girlfriend. She is on TikTok. Came across this and
534
00:31:38.769 --> 00:31:41.769
she's like sharing a lot of things. Pretty much how
535
00:31:41.789 --> 00:31:45.230
the system like failed her. Right. So I will link
536
00:31:45.299 --> 00:31:49.059
her TikTok down below if you want to like check
537
00:31:49.140 --> 00:31:51.460
out her story pretty much. If you want to hear
538
00:31:51.519 --> 00:31:54.119
about how she got fucked up. And how the system
539
00:31:54.220 --> 00:31:57.519
failed her. Shit, man. Sentencing will be coming up. We'll
540
00:31:57.559 --> 00:32:01.009
see what happens. He might get the death sentence. He
541
00:32:01.029 --> 00:32:07.069
might not. Either way, he's not hot. He's disgusting. And
542
00:32:07.089 --> 00:32:10.339
I hope he stays locked up forever. Sorry. Other than that,
543
00:32:10.359 --> 00:32:12.200
I don't know. Let me know down below if you
544
00:32:12.220 --> 00:32:14.750

00:00:00.110 --> 00:00:02.750
Hi friends, how are you today? My name is Bailey
2
00:00:02.790 --> 00:00:06.049
Sarian and today is Monday, which means it's Murder, Mystery,
3
00:00:06.089 --> 00:00:10.310
and Makeup Monday. Hi! If you're new here, hi, my
4
00:00:10.330 --> 00:00:13.699
name is Bailey. How's it going? And on Mondays, I
5
00:00:13.730 --> 00:00:15.960
sit down and I talk about a true crime story
6
00:00:16.000 --> 00:00:19.980
that's been heavy on my noggin and I do my
7
00:00:20.019 --> 00:00:23.000
makeup at the same time. Just to keep my hands busy,
8
00:00:23.019 --> 00:00:24.760
you know? If you're interested in true crime and you
9
00:00:24.780 --> 00:00:27.600
like makeup, I would say subscribe because I'm here for
10
00:00:27.620 --> 00:00:30.769
you on Mondays. Hi friends, just popping in here really
11
00:00:30.870 --> 00:00:36.049
quick to mention today's sponsor, Rocket Money. Look, I was
12
00:00:36.090 --> 00:00:38.030
having one of those days, you know, where like everything,
13
00:00:38.630 --> 00:00:42.079
everything was just bothering me. You know how that is.
14
00:00:42.340 --> 00:00:44.299
And then I found something that just really pushed me
15
00:00:44.380 --> 00:00:47.579
over the edge. I was being charged every month for
16
00:00:47.619 --> 00:00:51.219
some random streaming service I don't even use anymore. I
17
00:00:52.380 --> 00:00:54.950
was like, that's it. And I realized I had to
18
00:00:54.979 --> 00:00:57.340
sign up for like a free trial to watch one
19
00:00:57.439 --> 00:01:00.960
show months ago. And I haven't touched it since. They
20
00:01:01.000 --> 00:01:03.799
always get me with the free trials. Okay, and then
21
00:01:03.840 --> 00:01:06.019
I forget about it. Next thing you know, I'm paying
22
00:01:06.060 --> 00:01:09.000
for stuff I don't even use. And the worst part
23
00:01:09.140 --> 00:01:13.489
is trying to cancel it. Well, thankfully, that's where Rocket
24
00:01:13.530 --> 00:01:16.209

47
00:02:34.430 --> 00:02:37.379
Now let's get back to today's story. A few things
48
00:02:37.439 --> 00:02:39.310
before we get started. One, I got a new microphone.
49
00:02:39.849 --> 00:02:41.530
Does it sound good? Let me know down below. I
50
00:02:42.229 --> 00:02:43.430
think it sounds good, but I want to know what
51
00:02:43.449 --> 00:02:46.650
you know. You know? Okay. And second of all, if
52
00:02:46.669 --> 00:02:48.349
you're ever curious to know what products I'm using, I
53
00:02:48.389 --> 00:02:50.810
do list them down in the description box. But other
54
00:02:50.830 --> 00:02:54.439
than that, I'll get into today's story because this guy,
55
00:02:55.400 --> 00:02:57.580
he sucks. So I've been seeing a lot about this
56
00:02:57.620 --> 00:03:00.860
guy lately because it's a fairly new situation that's been,
57
00:03:01.060 --> 00:03:04.120
he just got, his trial just went through and all that.
58
00:03:04.439 --> 00:03:07.240
His sentencing is coming up. And I've seen a lot
59
00:03:07.259 --> 00:03:11.259
of people talking about him because some of you all
60
00:03:11.580 --> 00:03:16.379
think that this man, this disgusting killer, is hot. People
61
00:03:16.400 --> 00:03:18.819
are like, oh my God, he's so hot. And it's like,
62
00:03:19.370 --> 00:03:21.849
just because he has his hair slicked back and some tattoos,
63
00:03:21.990 --> 00:03:25.669
people think he's hot. And it's like, you guys, get
64
00:03:25.689 --> 00:03:30.050
some standards. Get some standards, okay? You can do better
65
00:03:30.069 --> 00:03:32.969
than a killer. Okay, all right, great. With that being said,
66
00:03:33.000 --> 00:03:36.560
we're talking about this guy. His name is Wade... Stephen Wilson.
67
00:03:37.240 --> 00:03:39.340
All right. I'm going to the doctors today. So I'm
68
00:03:39.360 --> 00:03:40.659
going to, I think I'm going to do like a
69
00:03:40.699 --> 00:03:42.879
kind of natural look. Not that you care, but I'm
70
00:03:42.900 --> 00:03:44.900
just letting you know. Natural for me. I don't want
71
00:03:44.919 --> 00:03:46.979
to look too crazy. I mean, we'll see though, because
72
00:03:47.460 --> 00:03:49.300
that's always my intention. And the next thing you know,
73
00:03:50.039 --> 00:03:53.360
cake face. It happens every time. Anyways, today we're talking
74
00:03:53.400 --> 00:03:57.360
about this guy named Wade Stephen Wilson. He was also
75
00:03:57.439 --> 00:04:02.360
called the Deadpool killer because his name is identical to
76
00:04:02.400 --> 00:04:06.770
that of the fictional antihero, Deadpool, whose real name is
77
00:04:06.849 --> 00:04:11.409
also Wade Wilson. Now, what are the odds of that, huh? Now, Deadpool,
78
00:04:11.430 --> 00:04:14.629
if you don't know, is a character from like Marvel Comics.
79
00:04:15.060 --> 00:04:19.079
And this character is known for his chaotic, unpredictable nature.
80
00:04:19.779 --> 00:04:23.600
And he has like a tendency toward violence. And like,
81
00:04:23.639 --> 00:04:27.300
to be fair, in a more humorous and exaggerated comic
82
00:04:27.350 --> 00:04:31.110
book fashion, it's supposed to be funny. The media likely
83
00:04:31.230 --> 00:04:34.709
used this moniker because of the name, obviously, right? His name.
84
00:04:35.279 --> 00:04:39.970
and the violent nature of Wade Stephen Wilson's crimes. Now,
85
00:04:40.870 --> 00:04:46.149
unlike the fictional Deadpool, Wade Stephen Wilson's actions were very
86
00:04:46.230 --> 00:04:50.129
real and devastating. I mean, leading to tragic outcomes for
87
00:04:50.170 --> 00:04:53.670
his victims. So let me tell you about this guy,
88
00:04:53.930 --> 00:04:59.149
Wade Stephen Wilson. Now, his story begins on May 20th, 1994.
89
00:04:59.149 --> 00:05:02.269
His father, he was just like a teenager. I think
90
00:05:02.300 --> 00:05:04.759
he was 14 or 15 years old when he learned
91
00:05:04.800 --> 00:05:09.339
that His girlfriend was pregnant with Wade and, you know,
92
00:05:09.360 --> 00:05:12.899
they're young. So Wade's birth mom, I guess she had
93
00:05:12.939 --> 00:05:18.399
struggled with mental illness and possibly like addiction. So it
94
00:05:19.620 --> 00:05:21.720
was just like a rough start for Wade, that is.
95
00:05:22.180 --> 00:05:25.480
But Wade's path had changed when he was adopted by
96
00:05:25.600 --> 00:05:28.860
Candy and Steve Wilson. I guess like they were a
97
00:05:28.899 --> 00:05:32.879
super kind couple. They attended church with his birth mother.
98
00:05:33.319 --> 00:05:35.470
I think that's probably how they fell. found each other,
99
00:05:35.689 --> 00:05:38.329
like his birth mom and the adopted parents. So Wade
100
00:05:38.350 --> 00:05:42.230
gets adopted. And as a child, you know, they said, Wade,
101
00:05:42.569 --> 00:05:46.079
he seems like any other kid. He liked to play sports.
102
00:05:46.220 --> 00:05:49.040
He attended church and he did really well in school.
103
00:05:49.500 --> 00:05:52.040
His parents remembered him as a good kid with a
104
00:05:52.180 --> 00:05:57.060
promising future, you know, but we're here. So what happened? Well,
105
00:05:57.610 --> 00:06:01.170
I guess when Wade, you know, approached his teenage years,
106
00:06:01.550 --> 00:06:05.149
a lot of things started to change. So around the
107
00:06:05.189 --> 00:06:08.600
age of 13, Wade started showing troubling signs of like
108
00:06:08.680 --> 00:06:14.399
mental instability. So he started to become reclusive. He was paranoid.
109
00:06:14.459 --> 00:06:17.139
He was moody. And, you know, whenever he would go
110
00:06:17.189 --> 00:06:21.060
to school, he would cause disruptions in class. He was
111
00:06:21.079 --> 00:06:24.060
that kid. So his family, they're seeing these changes, you know,
112
00:06:24.259 --> 00:06:26.399
and it's concerning to them. I like, I don't have
113
00:06:26.439 --> 00:06:29.620
like great examples here, but it was concerning enough that
114
00:06:29.660 --> 00:06:32.600
they wanted to get him mental health care because they
115
00:06:32.620 --> 00:06:37.149
believe that he like really needed it. But Wade being
116
00:06:37.189 --> 00:06:39.209
the teenager that he was, he just, he didn't want it.
117
00:06:39.250 --> 00:06:45.790
He The family, they felt like they had no other
118
00:06:45.930 --> 00:06:50.399
option but to invoke the Baker Act. So this is
119
00:06:50.439 --> 00:06:54.680
a Florida law and it's officially known as the Florida
120
00:06:54.800 --> 00:06:58.920
Mental Health Act of 1971. And this allows for emergency
121
00:06:59.000 --> 00:07:04.519
mental health services and temporary detention for individuals who are
122
00:07:04.720 --> 00:07:09.769
unable to determine their need for treatment due to mental illness. illness.
123
00:07:10.250 --> 00:07:11.800
I mean, this is just my own personal opinion. I
124
00:07:11.800 --> 00:07:14.459
don't know. It must've been concerning enough for them to like,
125
00:07:15.040 --> 00:07:17.839
you know, get him this type of help. So as
126
00:07:17.879 --> 00:07:20.100
a part of this act, Wade was held for no
127
00:07:20.139 --> 00:07:23.500
more than 72 hours to assess his mental state. And
128
00:07:23.519 --> 00:07:26.329
then they go from there. They either give you more treatment,
129
00:07:26.370 --> 00:07:29.129
they give you medication, they give you whatever, but they
130
00:07:29.170 --> 00:07:34.540
determine in those 72 hours, What's wrong? Now, it's possible
131
00:07:34.600 --> 00:07:38.949
that these mental health issues were actually made worse by
132
00:07:39.230 --> 00:07:44.069
drug use. It's believed he started dabbling with, you know,
133
00:07:44.389 --> 00:07:48.389
the hoo-hahs, whatever the hoo-hahs are. It's also believed that
134
00:07:48.470 --> 00:07:51.350
the changes in Wade's mental health may have been influenced
135
00:07:51.389 --> 00:07:54.449
by several concussions he got while he was playing sports.
136
00:07:55.040 --> 00:07:58.839
And then it was made worse when he started doing drugs.
137
00:07:59.430 --> 00:08:02.529
So he just, it was not the right combination for him.
138
00:08:02.930 --> 00:08:07.790
So in 2012, after turning 18, Wade, he decided to
139
00:08:07.850 --> 00:08:13.920
reconnect with his biological father. His name is Stephen Testaseca.
140
00:08:13.939 --> 00:08:16.889
I tried, but his name is Stephen. And he lived
141
00:08:17.009 --> 00:08:20.529
in Lakeland, Florida. So they get in touch and they
142
00:08:20.569 --> 00:08:22.790
kind of stay in touch on and off for like
143
00:08:22.810 --> 00:08:25.860
the next few years. But it doesn't really seem like
144
00:08:25.879 --> 00:08:29.519
they got like that close, but regardless, they were in touch.
145
00:08:29.860 --> 00:08:32.879
He reconnects with his dad. He's an adult now, which
146
00:08:32.919 --> 00:08:35.200
sucks because now he's, when he's getting in trouble, he's
147
00:08:35.220 --> 00:08:39.230
getting like arrested and building a record, you know? During
148
00:08:39.250 --> 00:08:42.210
this time, Wade got into trouble with the law several
149
00:08:42.269 --> 00:08:47.250
times for theft of property and even assault. I was
150
00:08:47.269 --> 00:08:48.970
trying to find out more information about this because I
151
00:08:48.970 --> 00:08:50.669
was like, this is kind of bizarre, but I don't know.
152
00:08:50.889 --> 00:08:54.940
Wade's adopted parents, they like challenged these charges and they
153
00:08:54.960 --> 00:08:58.080
ended up taking it to court and they won their case,
154
00:08:58.179 --> 00:09:02.820
which led to Wade's charges being dropped. So Wade, I
155
00:09:02.860 --> 00:09:05.919
guess also during this time, he has a daughter, but
156
00:09:05.960 --> 00:09:10.200
like there's really not much else known about that so
157
00:09:10.299 --> 00:09:13.759
in late 2018 wade started dating a woman named kelly
158
00:09:14.059 --> 00:09:17.500
in palm beach county florida now it was said that
159
00:09:17.580 --> 00:09:22.440
wade you know he's tall he's handsome he's charismatic and
160
00:09:22.460 --> 00:09:25.340
he has like tattoos he has a lot of tattoos
161
00:09:25.820 --> 00:09:28.019
and at this time when they started dating in 2018
162
00:09:28.019 --> 00:09:31.960
like they weren't that noticeable like they weren't what you
163
00:09:32.019 --> 00:09:38.000
see now you know so he was attractive and it
164
00:09:38.019 --> 00:09:40.509
was it was easy to like the guy So Kelly,
165
00:09:40.549 --> 00:09:42.759
I guess she knew him by his middle name, which
166
00:09:42.980 --> 00:09:46.639
was Steven. And they seemed happy at first. You know,
167
00:09:46.659 --> 00:09:49.360
the first few months are going great. They end up
168
00:09:49.559 --> 00:09:52.370
moving in together and living in Lake Worth, Florida, and
169
00:09:52.419 --> 00:09:56.570
everything seemed fine. And she said that there seemed to
170
00:09:56.610 --> 00:09:59.950
be like no red flags. That is until Wade was arrested.
171
00:10:00.340 --> 00:10:04.639
in January of 2019 for grand theft and dealing in
172
00:10:04.679 --> 00:10:08.779
stolen property. So there's your red flag girl. After his
173
00:10:08.830 --> 00:10:11.929
release from jail, I guess Wade and Kelly got back together.
174
00:10:12.389 --> 00:10:17.559
But things like quickly went downhill. Wade, he started using drugs.
175
00:10:17.740 --> 00:10:21.399
I think specifically like at first cocaine, which Kelly at
176
00:10:21.440 --> 00:10:23.419
the time, she like didn't realize at first that he
177
00:10:23.460 --> 00:10:27.259
was using drugs because she didn't have any experience with drugs.
178
00:10:27.279 --> 00:10:29.870
She didn't use drugs herself. She said that like in
179
00:10:29.909 --> 00:10:33.970
the past she tried marijuana, but like it wasn't a
180
00:10:34.029 --> 00:10:36.289
fun experience. She had a panic attack. So she just
181
00:10:36.309 --> 00:10:39.240
kind of never dabbled. So she didn't really know like
182
00:10:39.519 --> 00:10:42.679
what the signs were, I guess. But eventually, I guess
183
00:10:42.919 --> 00:10:45.519
she was like looking through her stuff and she found
184
00:10:45.700 --> 00:10:49.039
evidence of a makeshift crack pipe. So she finds this
185
00:10:49.179 --> 00:10:52.580
makeshift crack pipe and she has a feeling that it's
186
00:10:52.659 --> 00:10:55.919
drug related. She doesn't know. She's not sure. So she
187
00:10:55.940 --> 00:10:59.080
takes a photo of it and I guess she posted
188
00:10:59.220 --> 00:11:02.059
on Reddit and she asked like on Reddit, like, what
189
00:11:02.460 --> 00:11:05.039
is this? She had a feeling, but she wasn't sure.
190
00:11:05.950 --> 00:11:10.309
And people had responded that it was indeed a DIY
191
00:11:10.330 --> 00:11:15.269
crack pipe. So not great. So their relationship became strained
192
00:11:15.309 --> 00:11:18.610
with arguments that sometimes got intense. She said it never
193
00:11:18.649 --> 00:11:23.259
got physical until one day when Kelly tried to search
194
00:11:23.299 --> 00:11:27.940
his backpack for drugs. She's just checking, you know, and
195
00:11:28.100 --> 00:11:30.179
Wade kind of found out and he got really pissed.
196
00:11:30.820 --> 00:11:33.240
So she was in like a room with the door
197
00:11:33.299 --> 00:11:36.769
shut and I guess he kicked in the door and
198
00:11:37.809 --> 00:11:39.789
hit her or attacked her. And then she threw a
199
00:11:39.850 --> 00:11:42.350
table at him. Not great, but this is like the
200
00:11:42.389 --> 00:11:45.350
first time things got physical between them. And then things
201
00:11:45.450 --> 00:11:48.049
really seem to get worse from here. So I guess
202
00:11:48.110 --> 00:11:51.929
at this point, Wade started to steal from Kelly. I
203
00:11:51.950 --> 00:11:54.110
guess he like stole her gun and then he ran
204
00:11:54.149 --> 00:11:56.740
away to Texas and like didn't even tell her. Kelly,
205
00:11:56.769 --> 00:11:59.940
she had reported this to the police because he stole
206
00:12:00.000 --> 00:12:03.840
her gun, you know, but like nothing came of it
207
00:12:04.120 --> 00:12:07.820
they did nothing really despite their issues they made up
208
00:12:07.919 --> 00:12:11.940
several times because as kelly admitted this is what she
209
00:12:11.980 --> 00:12:14.480
said this guy's hot and i'll do anything to keep
210
00:12:14.519 --> 00:12:19.750
him around now you can judge but there's a lot
211
00:12:19.769 --> 00:12:22.289
of people in that situation where you're just like you
212
00:12:22.309 --> 00:12:24.110
don't have any self-worth you know and you're like well
213
00:12:24.129 --> 00:12:27.389
this guy's hot and i'll never get someone hot So
214
00:12:27.509 --> 00:12:29.409
I'll just put up with it. But really, once you
215
00:12:29.429 --> 00:12:31.720
get away from it, that's when you realize like, oh crap,
216
00:12:31.750 --> 00:12:34.539
what was I doing? I get it. I'm not judging.
217
00:12:34.720 --> 00:12:36.460
I mean, she said that, you know, she was stupid,
218
00:12:36.539 --> 00:12:38.620
but at the time she was just not making good choices.
219
00:12:39.059 --> 00:12:42.759
But letting him back into her life, she later realized
220
00:12:43.200 --> 00:12:46.500
was just a huge mistake. On February 18, 2019, Wade's
221
00:12:46.559 --> 00:12:52.289
behavior took a terrifying turn. Wade and Kelly got into
222
00:12:52.320 --> 00:12:55.580
like some kind of heated argument. Somehow it leads to
223
00:12:55.700 --> 00:12:59.700
Wade kidnapping Kelly. He threw her into the trunk of
224
00:12:59.740 --> 00:13:03.200
her own car and then drove to the Florida Keys,
225
00:13:03.259 --> 00:13:06.259
which was about three and a half hours away with
226
00:13:06.279 --> 00:13:09.080
her in the trunk. During this, he like beat and
227
00:13:09.159 --> 00:13:13.570
sexually assaulted her. He binded her up with her own clothes.
228
00:13:13.799 --> 00:13:16.669
He stuffed leggings in her mouth to gag her. It
229
00:13:17.309 --> 00:13:20.000
was pretty intense. At some point, he like bit her
230
00:13:20.039 --> 00:13:23.159
lower face. He scratched her neck. And apparently in the
231
00:13:23.200 --> 00:13:25.620
struggle to get her into the trunk of the car,
232
00:13:25.759 --> 00:13:29.120
he broke her foot by slamming like the door on it.
233
00:13:29.259 --> 00:13:31.120
So he's got her in like the trunk, whatever. And
234
00:13:31.159 --> 00:13:35.159
he's driving like recklessly down the I-95. Allegedly, he's like speeding,
235
00:13:35.179 --> 00:13:38.019
weaving through traffic, driving like a psycho. During the drive,
236
00:13:38.039 --> 00:13:39.899
I mean, it's three and a half hours. At some point,
237
00:13:39.940 --> 00:13:43.220
he got hungry. So he pulled into a McDonald's drive-thru
238
00:13:43.340 --> 00:13:47.379
and ordered food with her still in the trunk. Jeez Louise.
239
00:13:47.779 --> 00:13:52.169
So inside the car, Wade had disabled the OnStar system.
240
00:13:52.769 --> 00:13:54.870
You know, that little thing that you talk to, OnStar.
241
00:13:56.789 --> 00:13:59.330
Is that still in cars? I forgot about that. I
242
00:13:59.330 --> 00:14:03.500
don't have OnStar. I have a Kia. But just in case, like,
243
00:14:03.559 --> 00:14:07.039
you know, she tried to, I don't know, like use it,
244
00:14:07.759 --> 00:14:09.480
talk to it. And then I guess he like took
245
00:14:09.500 --> 00:14:13.730
her phone. and quickly sold it for crack and then
246
00:14:13.889 --> 00:14:16.509
when they reached the keys it was like around 4 a.m
247
00:14:16.970 --> 00:14:18.929
wade had met up with another woman and he let
248
00:14:19.230 --> 00:14:22.289
kelly go thank god right he lets her go i
249
00:14:22.490 --> 00:14:25.629
guess he gave her the keys to the car so
250
00:14:25.690 --> 00:14:28.149
she could drive back that part i was like what
251
00:14:28.529 --> 00:14:31.379
okay i mean i'll take it it's better than him
252
00:14:31.399 --> 00:14:36.159
going psycho and doing something crazy you know but Okay,
253
00:14:36.419 --> 00:14:38.830
so Kelly, she drives back to Palm Beach County and
254
00:14:38.909 --> 00:14:41.350
she went straight to the hospital. The hospital, you know,
255
00:14:41.590 --> 00:14:45.330
they documented the lacerations on her wrist, the bite marks.
256
00:14:45.830 --> 00:14:47.830
She had a busted lip and then they took a
257
00:14:47.909 --> 00:14:52.159
sexual assault kit. Now after this, Kelly, she tried, she
258
00:14:52.240 --> 00:14:57.259
wanted to press charges. But based off of what my understanding,
259
00:14:57.279 --> 00:15:00.519
it seems like the police out there are freaking idiots.
260
00:15:01.200 --> 00:15:06.450
Because like either the evidence was lost. ignored or somehow
261
00:15:06.509 --> 00:15:10.389
insufficient and like nothing came of it, which makes no
262
00:15:10.450 --> 00:15:14.250
sense because she had all these documents showing that like
263
00:15:14.649 --> 00:15:16.419
what he did to her. Kelly kept some of like
264
00:15:16.440 --> 00:15:18.820
the photos of her injuries on her phone, but police
265
00:15:18.840 --> 00:15:21.220
were unable to locate the photos that they had taken
266
00:15:21.259 --> 00:15:24.179
at the hospital. Like they took photos and stuff and
267
00:15:24.220 --> 00:15:28.299
then they just like deleted them. They're literally so dumb.
268
00:15:28.330 --> 00:15:32.610
This whole story is about how dumb these police are. Sorry,
269
00:15:33.049 --> 00:15:36.320
but they are. The case ended up becoming inactive because
270
00:15:36.340 --> 00:15:40.039
there were no witnesses and technically because they lost it all,
271
00:15:40.539 --> 00:15:43.559
no evidence. And I guess at some point they did
272
00:15:43.600 --> 00:15:47.259
go to Wade and they questioned him about these allegations.
273
00:15:48.299 --> 00:15:51.659
And Wade told police that he had tied Kelly up
274
00:15:51.940 --> 00:15:54.759
in the back of her car because she was, quote,
275
00:15:55.340 --> 00:15:58.960
into that kind of thing. So after that, like police
276
00:15:59.000 --> 00:16:01.759
were like, well, all right, well, OK, checks out. And
277
00:16:01.799 --> 00:16:04.120
that was it. So after the incident, Kelly and Wade,
278
00:16:04.179 --> 00:16:08.639
I believe they officially like ended it. Pretty positive. But,
279
00:16:09.159 --> 00:16:12.769
you know, for Wade, he continued on with his violent behavior.
280
00:16:13.110 --> 00:16:16.090
It was said that he dated like several other women
281
00:16:16.590 --> 00:16:21.909
where he like had abused them or this was violent,
282
00:16:22.320 --> 00:16:25.019
you know. When I was reading about this, they said
283
00:16:25.070 --> 00:16:29.830
that at some point, allegedly, he may have dated a guy.
284
00:16:30.389 --> 00:16:34.350
And at some point he had stabbed this guy. It's
285
00:16:34.389 --> 00:16:37.029
not funny. It's just like awkward because that was all
286
00:16:37.070 --> 00:16:39.269
the information I could find. So like he may have
287
00:16:39.309 --> 00:16:42.320
dated a guy and stabbed him. And then moving on.
288
00:16:43.169 --> 00:16:47.090
I was like, okay. All right. What was that about though?
289
00:16:48.149 --> 00:16:52.299
Just not any information I could find. So by October
290
00:16:52.340 --> 00:16:56.840
of 2019, Wade was dating a woman named Melissa Montanez.
291
00:16:58.159 --> 00:17:00.750
And just follow me on this journey because I had
292
00:17:00.769 --> 00:17:02.330
a lot of questions. I was like, what? This doesn't
293
00:17:02.350 --> 00:17:05.490
make sense, but just this is what happened. Okay. On
294
00:17:05.690 --> 00:17:11.470
October 6th, Wade and Melissa, they're dating. They decided to
295
00:17:11.509 --> 00:17:13.710
go out to the club in Fort Myers and it's
296
00:17:13.750 --> 00:17:19.839
called Buddha Life. Buddha Life. And while they're there, Wade
297
00:17:20.000 --> 00:17:23.980
he meets this guy named Jason Shepard now I guess
298
00:17:24.220 --> 00:17:27.990
they did not know each other before this evening Jason
299
00:17:28.309 --> 00:17:31.789
and Wade but the two um seem to hit it
300
00:17:31.930 --> 00:17:35.789
off I'm sure it's something drug related in my opinion
301
00:17:35.809 --> 00:17:39.150
allegedly I don't know but like Jason this Jason guy
302
00:17:39.170 --> 00:17:43.119
he invites Wade and Melissa back to his place Melissa's
303
00:17:43.160 --> 00:17:44.640
like I don't want to go like I don't know
304
00:17:44.660 --> 00:17:46.900
this guy I don't want to go So she's like, no,
305
00:17:46.910 --> 00:17:49.829
I'm not going. Well, Wade, he really wanted to go
306
00:17:49.930 --> 00:17:52.519
and he did not like her answer. So he's like,
307
00:17:52.539 --> 00:17:56.039
you know what? Fine. And he ends up taking Melissa's
308
00:17:56.079 --> 00:17:59.200
car and like technically stealing it. So he steals her
309
00:17:59.359 --> 00:18:02.880
car and then he meets up with this woman named
310
00:18:02.920 --> 00:18:07.130
Christine Melton and her friend Stephanie Johnson. But Wade introduced
311
00:18:07.150 --> 00:18:10.410
himself as Junior to the Stephanie girl because he didn't
312
00:18:10.430 --> 00:18:12.490
know that Stephanie girl. He knew Christine. Not sure how
313
00:18:12.529 --> 00:18:15.680
they knew each other, but whatever that happened. It was
314
00:18:15.720 --> 00:18:19.160
said that Christine had been, well, Christine and Wade, they
315
00:18:19.200 --> 00:18:24.160
had been attracted to one another and were quote unquote intimate.
316
00:18:24.599 --> 00:18:28.720
So the next morning, he like stays the night, probably,
317
00:18:28.740 --> 00:18:32.099
I'm assuming here, maybe doing drugs. I don't know. The
318
00:18:32.140 --> 00:18:35.640
next morning, Wade tried to drive Christine and Stephanie back
319
00:18:35.680 --> 00:18:39.880
to Cape Coral where Christine had lived. I guess, well,
320
00:18:39.900 --> 00:18:41.490
it was said like he was having a really hard
321
00:18:41.549 --> 00:18:45.190
time driving back. The car he had stolen because it
322
00:18:45.250 --> 00:18:48.170
was manual and it wasn't an automatic. So he's like,
323
00:18:49.190 --> 00:18:51.950
you know, trying to shift and it's not going so
324
00:18:51.970 --> 00:18:55.069
well for him. But they get to Christine's house a
325
00:18:55.069 --> 00:18:58.430
little later than they had planned. And Stephanie, the friend,
326
00:18:58.670 --> 00:19:01.210
she's like, hey, I gotta go. I gotta take my
327
00:19:01.390 --> 00:19:03.880
kid to school and then I gotta go to work.
328
00:19:04.359 --> 00:19:06.740
So she leaves. So we don't really know what went down,
329
00:19:06.819 --> 00:19:10.319
but something went down. Because what we do know is
330
00:19:10.339 --> 00:19:17.539
that shortly after Stephanie left, Wade strangled Christine to death.
331
00:19:18.900 --> 00:19:21.329
I know. I was like, what? He like tied her
332
00:19:21.430 --> 00:19:24.329
up with her own clothes, strangles her, and then he
333
00:19:24.369 --> 00:19:28.490
left the crime scene. And he takes Christine's car because
334
00:19:28.529 --> 00:19:30.849
he hates that other one that he has to shift with.
335
00:19:31.589 --> 00:19:34.900
So he steals her car. And then Wade, he makes
336
00:19:34.980 --> 00:19:38.529
a phone call to his girlfriend, Melissa, around 8 a.m.
337
00:19:39.670 --> 00:19:41.970
So at first, like Melissa's not answering. And then about
338
00:19:42.160 --> 00:19:44.039
an hour goes by and Wade, I guess, is still
339
00:19:44.079 --> 00:19:48.349
calling her and Melissa answers. And like, obviously, she's pissed, right?
340
00:19:48.450 --> 00:19:50.769
She's like, what the F? So they have like a
341
00:19:50.809 --> 00:19:55.380
pretty heated argument over Wade stealing her car. And he
342
00:19:55.480 --> 00:19:59.960
then drives to her workplace and it was in like
343
00:19:59.980 --> 00:20:05.650
downtown Fort Myers and And he's driving Christine's black Nissan Versa.
344
00:20:06.049 --> 00:20:10.109
So he gets to technically his girlfriend's place of work.
345
00:20:10.329 --> 00:20:12.500
When he got there, he tries to drag Melissa into
346
00:20:12.519 --> 00:20:15.920
the car. And she's resisting. So then he tackles her.
347
00:20:16.339 --> 00:20:19.720
He beats her. He chokes her. He then drags her
348
00:20:20.160 --> 00:20:24.039
up the stairs to her business. Pins her against the
349
00:20:24.079 --> 00:20:30.230
wall by her throat. So... awful right so I guess
350
00:20:30.650 --> 00:20:33.549
once he's got her pinned he's like he's punching her
351
00:20:33.569 --> 00:20:37.430
in the face and just beating her and I guess
352
00:20:37.470 --> 00:20:40.119
he punches her hard enough that she actually starts to
353
00:20:40.339 --> 00:20:44.519
bleed pretty heavily and this kind of caught him off
354
00:20:44.579 --> 00:20:46.900
guard I think it was like a moment where he
355
00:20:46.940 --> 00:20:49.299
maybe came came back to reality had like a moment
356
00:20:49.319 --> 00:20:51.940
of clarity because he's like oh shit so he pauses
357
00:20:52.440 --> 00:20:55.380
but this pause gave Melissa a chance to like duck
358
00:20:55.500 --> 00:20:58.779
under his arm and escape So she takes off and
359
00:20:58.799 --> 00:21:02.480
she like locks herself in a room. I think it was.
360
00:21:02.660 --> 00:21:06.200
But she gets away. So when she gets away, Wade
361
00:21:06.240 --> 00:21:11.029
just decides to get back in that Nissan and drive off.
362
00:21:11.630 --> 00:21:15.029
Wade's violent spree didn't end there. He returned to Cape
363
00:21:15.089 --> 00:21:19.029
Coral sometime between 9.30 and 11 a.m. So when he's driving,
364
00:21:19.069 --> 00:21:22.019
this is when he spots a woman named Diane Ruiz.
365
00:21:22.440 --> 00:21:26.579
She's walking to work. the moose lodge. And I guess
366
00:21:26.619 --> 00:21:29.299
Wade spots her and he like pulls over and he's like, Hey,
367
00:21:29.319 --> 00:21:31.720
I need directions. Can you help me? I don't know.
368
00:21:31.740 --> 00:21:34.740
He somehow convinces her to like get into the car
369
00:21:34.799 --> 00:21:38.519
with him and help him. So she does. So he
370
00:21:38.599 --> 00:21:41.480
gets her into the car. And then after that, Wade
371
00:21:41.519 --> 00:21:45.400
then strangles her. And then he goes to like an
372
00:21:45.609 --> 00:21:49.549
empty parking lot. It's like near Sam's club. where he
373
00:21:49.789 --> 00:21:52.990
tosses her out of the vehicle. And I guess after that,
374
00:21:53.250 --> 00:21:57.630
he realizes that she's still alive and she's breathing. So
375
00:21:58.130 --> 00:22:02.470
Wade then ran over her multiple times. You know, he
376
00:22:02.539 --> 00:22:06.240
backed up, went forward, backed up. He did that until, quote,
377
00:22:06.759 --> 00:22:10.039
she looked like spaghetti. Now this was according to like
378
00:22:10.059 --> 00:22:15.119
an interview he did with detectives. Not at a Sam's Club.
379
00:22:15.420 --> 00:22:19.319
Now it's not clear to anyone as to why Wade
380
00:22:19.359 --> 00:22:23.380
had killed Diane. There's speculation, you know, many believe like
381
00:22:23.619 --> 00:22:26.069
it was because he, he wanted money to like try
382
00:22:26.109 --> 00:22:27.930
and get out of town. So he was like going
383
00:22:27.950 --> 00:22:31.970
to rob her or something. But again, it's just unclear.
384
00:22:32.349 --> 00:22:35.569
Now at this time, police, they were looking for Wade
385
00:22:35.650 --> 00:22:39.589
because of the attack on Melissa. She had gone like
386
00:22:39.750 --> 00:22:42.539
called police, you know, she was attacked. Right. So they're
387
00:22:42.559 --> 00:22:46.680
looking for him and that's when they find him. He's
388
00:22:47.000 --> 00:22:51.079
parked in the car shirtless at a Joe's Crab Shack
389
00:22:51.680 --> 00:22:54.559
in that stolen black Nissan. So police approach him. They
390
00:22:54.579 --> 00:22:59.559
go up to him and again, the police, they're just dumb.
391
00:22:59.799 --> 00:23:02.259
I don't, they're walking up to his vehicle and I
392
00:23:02.460 --> 00:23:04.880
guess Wade just like sees them and he rolls up
393
00:23:04.920 --> 00:23:08.299
the window and then he just drives away. He literally
394
00:23:08.319 --> 00:23:13.369
just drove away and they're like, well, we tried. Yeah.
395
00:23:13.380 --> 00:23:15.180
They didn't even go after him. They just let him go.
396
00:23:15.980 --> 00:23:18.779
So bizarre. So Wade takes off. Maybe he's getting a
397
00:23:18.799 --> 00:23:21.289
little paranoid knowing that the police are kind of like
398
00:23:21.609 --> 00:23:24.869
they're getting close. Right. So he's driving and he spots
399
00:23:24.950 --> 00:23:28.569
a home that seems to be empty. Now he breaks
400
00:23:28.630 --> 00:23:31.950
into this home by removing the screen and glass from
401
00:23:31.970 --> 00:23:35.920
the window. He's able to get in. The owners, they
402
00:23:35.980 --> 00:23:38.160
were out of town. So it was like, okay, good guess.
403
00:23:38.480 --> 00:23:42.859
And when he's inside, he drank several White Claws from
404
00:23:42.880 --> 00:23:44.940
the fridge. He ate some food and then he even
405
00:23:44.980 --> 00:23:51.160
like changed his clothes. He then contacts his biological father.
406
00:23:51.319 --> 00:23:55.079
He calls him up, Stephen. And I guess he breaks down.
407
00:23:55.460 --> 00:23:59.200
According to his father, Stephen, when Wade had contacted him,
408
00:23:59.269 --> 00:24:01.990
he said that he needed help with something, something he
409
00:24:02.049 --> 00:24:05.150
had done. and couldn't take back. Wade went on to
410
00:24:05.210 --> 00:24:07.740
say that there were two people gone and that they
411
00:24:07.759 --> 00:24:12.079
would not be back. Ending the call with like, I'm
412
00:24:12.119 --> 00:24:14.420
a killer. If you're on the phone and someone says that,
413
00:24:14.460 --> 00:24:16.740
what are you going to do? I don't know. I'm like, um,
414
00:24:17.089 --> 00:24:19.470
wrong number. So his father, Steven said like, at first
415
00:24:19.490 --> 00:24:21.930
he didn't believe him because Wade was a bit of
416
00:24:21.990 --> 00:24:25.509
a storyteller, you know, but Wade had like continued to
417
00:24:25.549 --> 00:24:28.779
describe to his father, like what had happened saying that
418
00:24:28.880 --> 00:24:32.279
he had quote, choked that bitch and that he quote,
419
00:24:32.539 --> 00:24:35.400
stayed in the house a while, rolled her up and
420
00:24:35.420 --> 00:24:37.660
was going to try to put her in her trunk,
421
00:24:37.980 --> 00:24:40.650
but he couldn't lift her. And that he felt like
422
00:24:40.690 --> 00:24:43.309
the rigor mortis had like started to set in. End quote.
423
00:24:43.569 --> 00:24:46.829
Stephen later told investigators that his son didn't seem to
424
00:24:46.910 --> 00:24:49.930
show like any remorse. And when he was on the
425
00:24:49.970 --> 00:24:54.210
phone with him, he actually kind of sounded excited. Oh God.
426
00:24:54.450 --> 00:24:57.970
I know. Wade, I guess, was originally calling his dad
427
00:24:58.019 --> 00:25:00.529
to ask if his if his dad could like call
428
00:25:01.089 --> 00:25:04.720
and get him an Uber out of town. So Stephen
429
00:25:04.779 --> 00:25:07.500
had asked Wade like, okay, yeah, like what's your location?
430
00:25:07.539 --> 00:25:10.079
You know, like send it to me and I'll get
431
00:25:10.099 --> 00:25:12.980
you an Uber. But instead of, you know, sending that
432
00:25:13.019 --> 00:25:16.359
location to get him an Uber, he actually sends the
433
00:25:16.500 --> 00:25:21.170
address to the U.S. Marshals. Good for him, you know.
434
00:25:21.529 --> 00:25:25.029
Stephen later said that he felt a little conflicted, you know,
435
00:25:25.049 --> 00:25:27.150
about turning Wade in. He knew it was the right
436
00:25:27.190 --> 00:25:30.670
decision because most likely Wade would do it again. But
437
00:25:31.029 --> 00:25:34.250
you know, it's your kid. I'm sure it's very confusing.
438
00:25:34.710 --> 00:25:38.259
That same afternoon, Christine's friend, she was contacted by the
439
00:25:38.319 --> 00:25:42.000
police about finding, they had found her car and she
440
00:25:42.039 --> 00:25:44.960
felt like something was up. She's like, something's got to
441
00:25:44.980 --> 00:25:48.819
be wrong. So fearing for her well-being, Cape Coral police,
442
00:25:48.900 --> 00:25:52.619
they forced their way into her home that's when they
443
00:25:52.690 --> 00:25:56.039
see like a large bundle of bedding and clothing in
444
00:25:56.079 --> 00:25:59.480
the hallway near a bedroom and like when they look
445
00:25:59.519 --> 00:26:03.680
inside it was Christine's body so police like did not
446
00:26:03.740 --> 00:26:08.380
initially connect Diane to Wade but she was reported missing
447
00:26:08.640 --> 00:26:10.359
like not long after because she didn't show up to
448
00:26:10.440 --> 00:26:13.519
work and no one had known like where she went
449
00:26:13.559 --> 00:26:17.880
right so she was reported missing and then on October 8th, police,
450
00:26:17.920 --> 00:26:21.460
they had searched this wooded area where Diane was last
451
00:26:21.500 --> 00:26:25.799
seen walking to work, but, you know, it led them nowhere.
452
00:26:26.180 --> 00:26:30.200
By the next day, it became clear to police, well,
453
00:26:30.240 --> 00:26:35.410
based off of Wade's father's testimony, that Wade was responsible
454
00:26:35.650 --> 00:26:40.190
for Diane's disappearance. On October 10th, police had checked the
455
00:26:40.289 --> 00:26:44.049
empty parking lot near the Sam's Club. Because they actually,
456
00:26:44.150 --> 00:26:46.930
police say, noticed like a vulture was circling the area.
457
00:26:46.950 --> 00:26:51.130
I know. I was like, okay, vulture. Putting the pieces
458
00:26:51.190 --> 00:26:53.490
together there. But they see this vulture and they're like,
459
00:26:53.509 --> 00:26:55.430
we should go over there. And when they got there,
460
00:26:55.490 --> 00:27:00.500
that's when they found Diane's body. So on November 19th, 2019,
461
00:27:00.500 --> 00:27:05.200
Wade Wilson was being charged with premeditated murder of the
462
00:27:05.299 --> 00:27:08.859
two women. So Wade, he gave like different interviews where
463
00:27:08.880 --> 00:27:12.730
he argued that he did not kill them. But... Then
464
00:27:12.769 --> 00:27:17.450
he did interviews with police and he told them that, okay,
465
00:27:17.470 --> 00:27:20.130
maybe I killed them. So I was like, okay. His
466
00:27:20.230 --> 00:27:23.670
defense later would argue that like he was heavily drugged
467
00:27:24.410 --> 00:27:27.519
or as his attorney told the court, he was quote,
468
00:27:27.920 --> 00:27:30.420
whacked out of his mind. That's why he did it.
469
00:27:30.839 --> 00:27:35.359
On September 20th, 2020, while awaiting trial, stupid ass Wade
470
00:27:35.440 --> 00:27:39.180
over here, he tried to escape from prison. It didn't work.
471
00:27:39.420 --> 00:27:41.680
Wade and his cellmate, they had planned like a whole
472
00:27:42.450 --> 00:27:44.869
escape plan you know and they even arranged for a
473
00:27:44.950 --> 00:27:48.960
car uh to come pick them up around like 2 a.m
474
00:27:49.000 --> 00:27:51.359
the next morning they were like we're gonna do it
475
00:27:51.799 --> 00:27:54.400
well i guess the deputies they were tipped off about
476
00:27:54.420 --> 00:27:57.230
the plan and so they went to check wait cell
477
00:27:57.670 --> 00:27:59.650
and while they were there they found that the window
478
00:27:59.690 --> 00:28:02.890
had been tampered with The metal frame had been removed
479
00:28:03.329 --> 00:28:07.369
and there were several cracks in the security glass. It
480
00:28:07.410 --> 00:28:09.930
was said that Wade most likely would not have been
481
00:28:09.970 --> 00:28:12.970
able to escape because even with the glass removed, it
482
00:28:13.009 --> 00:28:15.509
would have been impossible for him to fit through the window.
483
00:28:15.569 --> 00:28:16.849
So they're like, we don't even know what these guys
484
00:28:16.869 --> 00:28:19.259
were thinking. So now on top of everything else, he
485
00:28:19.279 --> 00:28:24.900
was also being charged with attempted escape and criminal mischief. Now,
486
00:28:25.099 --> 00:28:29.480
during his time in prison, Wade had apparently joined the
487
00:28:29.519 --> 00:28:34.579
white supremacist gang the Unforgiven. So this gang is primarily
488
00:28:34.740 --> 00:28:39.410
based in Florida and like its main symbol is like
489
00:28:39.450 --> 00:28:43.769
an iron cross interlinked with a swastika and a Nazi
490
00:28:43.990 --> 00:28:48.710
SS in the center. So that's great. And as a
491
00:28:48.769 --> 00:28:52.210
member of the gang, Wade also received several face tattoos.
492
00:28:53.349 --> 00:28:56.069
This is where he gets like fucking covered, okay? And
493
00:28:56.109 --> 00:28:58.230
like all of the tattoos are just straight up racist
494
00:28:58.279 --> 00:29:00.319
and like there's not much else you could say about it.
495
00:29:00.640 --> 00:29:04.329
And It's just gross. So while in prison, he got
496
00:29:04.349 --> 00:29:08.069
like numerous face tattoos, neck tattoos. And he honestly looks
497
00:29:08.089 --> 00:29:10.450
like the Dollar Tree version of the Joker, which is
498
00:29:10.509 --> 00:29:14.390
actually really fitting because he got why so serious and
499
00:29:14.549 --> 00:29:19.589
ha ha ha tattooed around his left eye. Yeah. Now
500
00:29:19.630 --> 00:29:22.710
Wade's attorney first had asked him like, hey, maybe you
501
00:29:22.759 --> 00:29:25.660
can cover up those tattoos with makeup in court, you know?
502
00:29:26.000 --> 00:29:28.839
But then he realized that makeup was not going to
503
00:29:28.900 --> 00:29:32.700
cover the tattoos. So the attorney was like, okay, we'll
504
00:29:32.740 --> 00:29:36.750
work with it. It'll help us argue for insanity. Yeah.
505
00:29:37.069 --> 00:29:41.700
Covering tattoos is not easy. So Wade's trial had started
506
00:29:41.799 --> 00:29:45.720
on June 10th, 2024. Not that long ago. And he
507
00:29:45.740 --> 00:29:48.579
was being charged with first degree murder of Christine Melton,
508
00:29:49.160 --> 00:29:54.569
grand theft, battery, first degree murder of Diane Ruiz, burglary,
509
00:29:55.049 --> 00:29:59.589
and theft. Wade exercised his fifth amendment rights and he
510
00:29:59.630 --> 00:30:02.130
decided not to testify. What was he going to say?
511
00:30:02.670 --> 00:30:06.380
But tons of witnesses came forward with their testimony of
512
00:30:06.420 --> 00:30:09.799
what happened that night. And you know, all signs are
513
00:30:09.819 --> 00:30:13.000
pointing to guilty. So after two hours of deliberation, the
514
00:30:13.059 --> 00:30:17.480
jury found that Wade was guilty on all six counts.
515
00:30:18.089 --> 00:30:21.690
So nine out of the 12 jurors, they had recommended
516
00:30:21.730 --> 00:30:25.839
that Wade be put to death and Florida only requires
517
00:30:26.079 --> 00:30:28.900
eight out of the 12 jurors to recommend a death sentence.
518
00:30:29.220 --> 00:30:34.589
So he qualifies. The sentencing for Wade Wilson is scheduled
519
00:30:34.630 --> 00:30:38.930
for August 27, 2024. So coming up, but he's been
520
00:30:38.970 --> 00:30:41.089
asking for like a new trial. He was arguing that
521
00:30:41.109 --> 00:30:46.240
the state did not sufficiently prove that Wade had possession
522
00:30:46.400 --> 00:30:53.539
of Christine's car. Okay. All right. All right. Okay. All right.
523
00:30:54.160 --> 00:30:56.920
You know, Also on top of that, Wade might not
524
00:30:56.990 --> 00:30:59.730
even get the death penalty because like this whole law
525
00:31:00.009 --> 00:31:03.049
about having eight out of 12 jurors recommend a death sentence,
526
00:31:03.450 --> 00:31:08.009
it got passed after Wade was charged with his crimes.
527
00:31:09.410 --> 00:31:14.089
So they think this might cause like a holdup. So
528
00:31:14.349 --> 00:31:17.150
it might not happen on August 27th because of these challenges,
529
00:31:17.289 --> 00:31:20.490
but we'll see. We'll see. Hold on. Let me put
530
00:31:20.549 --> 00:31:23.829
on my mascara and like a lip. Be right back. Woo!
531
00:31:24.609 --> 00:31:28.609
All right. So that is the Wade Stephen Wilson case.
532
00:31:28.849 --> 00:31:33.170
It's worth mentioning. Remember Kelly? It was Wade's like previous
533
00:31:33.430 --> 00:31:38.690
his ex-girlfriend. She is on TikTok. Came across this and
534
00:31:38.769 --> 00:31:41.769
she's like sharing a lot of things. Pretty much how
535
00:31:41.789 --> 00:31:45.230
the system like failed her. Right. So I will link
536
00:31:45.299 --> 00:31:49.059
her TikTok down below if you want to like check
537
00:31:49.140 --> 00:31:51.460
out her story pretty much. If you want to hear
538
00:31:51.519 --> 00:31:54.119
about how she got fucked up. And how the system
539
00:31:54.220 --> 00:31:57.519
failed her. Shit, man. Sentencing will be coming up. We'll
540
00:31:57.559 --> 00:32:01.009
see what happens. He might get the death sentence. He
541
00:32:01.029 --> 00:32:07.069
might not. Either way, he's not hot. He's disgusting. And
542
00:32:07.089 --> 00:32:10.339
I hope he stays locked up forever. Sorry. Other than that,
543
00:32:10.359 --> 00:32:12.200
I don't know. Let me know down below if you
544
00:32:12.220 --> 00:32:14.750
